Being blinded by the light I got out of bed and rubbed my eye. "Forgot to close the blinds again." So I got ready for my day of work. Some had to run the Shop while everyone else was out for the festival. After getting all my stuff needed for today, I left for the shop. Along the way I ran into some of my friends, Edward a short brown with a coin cutie mark pegasus was staring directly at me as I came up to them. "Hey Avernus Heading to work?" "Yea I have a big day ahead of me" Sarah a red unicorn with a wand cutie mark "So Avernus got time to night to meet up with us, after you are done with the shop?" "Maybe depends on how much business I get today. No time to chat right now I have to go open up, talk to you all later." I left me friends as i went down the path to the store I semi-own. I stuck in my key to unlock the front door. As i stepped in, I tripped over a large piece of mail. "Well I really wonder how she does it?" Our mail carrier has some way to make packages fit in any hole, when she is just a pegasus pony. "I swear she must be a alicorn hiding her horn, there is no way she can do that with out magic. Might be why she deliverers at night." "Welcome to Flowers by Bloom." A blue unicorn entered she was looking for an arrangement that could be place in her dinner room. She expressed it had to match perfectly with the color of her room, never telling me what the color was. I finally had to wait for her to pick all the colors she wanted and design her a very nice arrangement. "My dear this is the best arrangement I have ever gotten thank you. I will recommend this place to all my friends and tell to ask for you. What is your name dear?" "Avernus Bloom, and thank you for your business and spreading the name of my business." "Well with this quality of work I wonder why no on has picked up on this shop yet. Well that will change." She left in hurry, leaving her change. "Lady your change." "Oh keep that as a tip saying how good of work you did." She left me a good mood about the day. A hour an half later a mother and her colt entered the store. "Welcome to Flowers by Bloom." "I heard about this place today from a friend she said the work by Avernus Bloom is superb." "Well I am Avernus, So how may i help you?" "I am looking for a foal shower gift. Preferable a very nice arrangement. Some blue since it will be a colt." As i was working on her arrangement her colt knocked over the whole display of stuff animals. "So sorry about that he just kinda likes stuff toys here I will buy these to recoup the time to clean them up" The mare ended up buying 5 stuff animals. Forty-five minutes later a bride came into the store. "Welcome to Flowers by Bloom." "Well I just got engaged last weekend and have been waiting to look at flowers. I had a friend recommend this place." "Well lets sit down and look at our wedding books." I sat her down in our bridal room to look though all the books. "I like this and this, oh why cannot my wedding be cheap but be grand at the same time?" "Well I could work out a deal for you." "Thank you thank you thank you" She leaped up and gave me a very tight hug,'Why is it that earth ponies given the tightest hugs ever, I mean really they hurt. I think don't even know there own strength.' I worked out her a great wedding on a budget she was very pleased. When it was twenty minutes before closing a older stallion came in wear a black cloak, "Welcome to Flowers by Bloom." He ignored me, he kept browsed everything in the store. He stopped at some of the vases but keep going around the store. He kept me waiting for about forty-five minutes till he finally came up to me at the desk. "Sir you would not happen to have any dead flowers?" "Yes I do they will go for a third the value." " That is fine with me, I only need them for some herbal supplies. Sorry that I took my time I was looking though all you had I how ever will be buying a couple things." "Well thank you for your business sir." He bought about forty stems of dead flowers and a bunch of vases and some of the mortars that I did not even notice we had. "Thank you sir and have a good night" "And to you too young stallion." Well it was after closing time so I decided that to close up shop and head to Sarah's place to let her know I was tired and was was not going to stay long. "Sorry Sarah, work kinda pulled a lot out of me." "But cannot you stay for a little bit" Sarah gave me these eyes that she really wanted me to stay. "Well alright, but only for an hour" Sarah gave out a little squeal. "Thank you" For the next twenty minutes Sarah and I sat in her house talking about everything. "So why didn't Edward show up?" Sarah looked away as I asked that question. "Well he said he had plans to meet up with some mares" "Edward and those mares, how soon do you think he will pop a question to some random mare again?" Sarah laughed at that. "I just hope he doesn't do it to me again, I told him already, I have my eyes set on a specific Stallion." Sarah eyes flared right at me. "I get the hint" The rest of the night was spent of us find how we were compatible. Later that night I looked at the clock. It said 11:25 pm. "Great stayed longer then I intended, sorry but i have to run home and get some sleep." Sarah frowned at that idea. "Why cannot you stay with me?" I didn't want to leave but I had too. "Well i don't have anything here, plus i have work early in the morning." I gave her a kiss was out the door. As soon I got home I was off to bed. "Ah the blinds, i don't want to repeat this morning again" So i shut the blinds so i would not be awoke by Celestia's sun again. My head hit the pillow and I taught how good the day was. Chapter 2 Monday?I awoke to Celestia's sun beaming right into my eye again. "Thought I closed the blinds last night" Feeling confused I got out of bed and got ready to head to work. "Sunday no yesterday was Monday." "No Avernus today is Monday. Did not get any sleep last night?" "I had a good nights rest, i went bed at regular time." "Well i have to go see yea later Avernus" Edward ran off leaving me alone with Sarah. "Well Avernus want to hang out tonight with me and Edward?" "Don't you mean just me and you?" Sarah gave me a blushed look. "Avernus are you hitting on me?" "Yes, but don't you remember the time we spent together last night?" "Avernus I was with my family last night for dinner. Are you ok you seem to be having weird thoughts. Maybe you should head home after work." "Sarah I . I will stop by after work and talk with you have to go open the shop now." I dashed off leaving a confused look on Sarah's face and a confused look on mine too. "Avernus Bloom, and yours?" "The Doctor" "Ok well doctor are you planning on buying anything?" "Well no but maybe I might be able to help you." "Help me with what might I ask?" "Are you feeling of deja-vu?" "Yes, but how would you know?" "Well I'm the Doctor and I'm here to fix your problem. You seem to be stuck in a time loop." "Time loop?" "Well to be simple you are stuck repeating the week and each day may repeat or it might go on to the next day. or the same day could repeat forever." "Any idea of how to get out of this time loop?" "Well two ways the first is death the second is to stop it at its source." "Well I don't want to die and I have no idea what could be the cause of this loop." "Well that is why I am here to find what causes these loops and stop them cause they mess up my ship when they happen." "Your ship" "Ah the Tardis, want to see her?" "Sure." The Doctor lead me out of my shop allowing me to lock up. i followed him done some back alley ways to a blue police box. "Avernus meet the Tardis" "I taught police boxes are supposed to be red and this cannot be a ship." "Well then come on in." The doctor opened the door and walked in inviting me in. I followed in expecting a tight enclosed space but found myself in open space. I gave the doctor a dumbfound look. "I'm shocked." "Welcome to the Tardis Avernus, she can take you anywhere and anytime. You just have to simple ask." "Well can she take me to end of the loop?" "She can but the loop is infinite so we will go till you are dead and you don't want that." Still be dumbfounded by the Tardis the Doctor keep on speaking. "Well here is your problem I can take you anywhere but i cannot take you to anytime and when the day would reset my knowledge will be reset only person who know anything will be you Avernus. You must seek me out every day till the loop ends to try fixing it. I however will never be in the same spot each day but the same town as you. You must find the Tardis each day and talk with me. There are only a few things in your world that could cause a time loop and the only one I think who would do it is Discord." "Discord?" "Yes Discord. Have you ran into him before?" "Nope, last I heard about Discord was his defeat by the elements of harmony. Maybe they could stop the loop?" "Lets try then." As the Doctor went to the center of the Tardis, the sound of clock in the background chimed signaling midnight. "Remember Avernus seek me out. Also explain everything to me, the other me will help out." Everything went black and I awoke to a beam of Celestia's sun hitting me in the eye. Chapter 3 Monday againComing to my senses I notice i was in my bed Monday morning again. Remembering what The Doctor said i got out of bed and got ready fast. I dashed out my door and headed straight for the shop. I ran right past Edward and Sarah. "Hey Avernus you seem to up earlier." "No time I have something important to take care of." Sarah looked worry at me. "Avernus can you hang out with us tonight." Remembering what Sarah did on the first night I decided to change my future a little. "Well how about me and you go out on a date this afternoon. I will stop by your place." Sarah was blushing so hard Edward started laughing. "Sorry but i really need to go." Before either one could say anything I was gone. I ran by the shop and put a sign saying sick come back tomorrow and sorry about the trouble. I started running towards the alley where The Doctor keep the Tardis. It took me a good twenty minutes to find the same alley. I got lost going down some strange alleyways finally found the alleyway that the Doctor took me down to where the Tardis was the last night but there was no blue police box. "I wonder where he is then.?" A sound came from behind and i turned to be face with a being that I could not explain. "Well well is this the person who is stuck in my chaos." "So you must be Discord I assume?" "Why yes I am Discord the master of chaos. Now may i ask who are you?" "Avernus Bloom. But before we get any further why me?" "Ah here is the thing about my magic I have control over it but I don't have full control. I control what happens but what it hits is random. So I sorry my dear pony what has happen to you. My magic be perceived as evil but sometimes a different view point can change somepony's view on life." Discord walked up to me his form changed to that of a pony. Unlike his appearance before this form to seem more gentle like as if he was caring for what was happening to me. "Discord can you stop the loop?" "Ah here in lies the problem I cannot this form of magic till a lesson is truly learned by the person under its effects. So you might find out that the person you are now doesn't want to be that person or a crush now might be a enemy later on. I will help you along the way since I have been reformed. I use my magic to help some ponies learn a lesson. I will be around to help you, unlike that dreadful doctor I will not be a problem to find. You simple have to call my name four times aloud and i will be there in matter of seconds." "Oh can I trust that you help me and not make things worse?" "Ah there lies another question is how can you trust anypony? Or better yet how can you trust yourself?" I gave discord a odd look. "Good question, I don't know. How about this how do i progress forward a day then to get to the end of the week?" "Well if one listens to everything I say you need to learn a valuable lesson to stop the loop well maybe if you get the gunk out of your ears." Discord was suddenly next to me reaching into my ears pull out a carrot size piece of wax from each of my ears. "To go forward a day you must learn a lesson that you will understand from your heart. I have helped you enough today if you learn your lesson today i will see you tomorrow if not happy today that is today." "But." As soon as i spoke Discord disappeared with a poof of a smoke cloud. It was little after mid day so i decide to wander town a little to maybe spot the Tardis, but no luck on finding it. So instead I went to Sarah's house hoping to at least make my day normal. After arriving at Sarah's house I noticed a blue police box sitting right next to her house. "You have got to be kidding me." I put my hoof to my face and let out a deep sigh. I started to walk towards the Tardis but then it hit me maybe Sarah might be the lesson I need to learn. So I decided t head to the Tardis first then head to Sarah's house. As I approached the Tardis the brown stallion known as the Doctor poked his out with his little pen and started pointing it towards me. "Why hello Doctor." The Doctor gave me a look of surprise on why I knew his name. "The name is Avernus Bloom and I hope I don't have to explain much to you." The Doctor signaled me to enter the Tardis. "Well how do you know so much?" "Well Doctor I already had this conversation with you in about six hours. I am the poor pony stuck in time loop done by Discord, which I have to say he is a very nice .... thing." "So you are what setting off all my alerts to time problems. Wait you said Discord, thought he was reformed?" "Well yes he is. I just got done talking to him, he is helping me out at least. Discord and I are the only ones not effected by the time loop." Doctor gave me a look of deep thought. then he went off towards a backroom. I heard some rummaging and items being flung out the door towards me. "You said time loop right?" "Yea. Discord said that I will progress a day when I learn some personal lesson that I will know." Doctor returned with a small box. "This might help you, help me, help you." He opened the box showing two watches. "These watches can withstand the paradox of a time loop. With these I should be able to help way sooner, then having you look for me." He placed a watch right above his right hoof and I did the same. "How do they work Doctor?" "Well first you simple touch the glass twice and start speaking The sound will be sent to me and i will hear everything and vise versa." "Thanks Doctor if this doesn't work then expect a call this morning. Well I have date to get too." I waved good bye to the doctor and headed out of the Tardis. I trotted about ten feet towards Sarah's front door and knocked. "Coming." Sarah opened the door and leap right out at me. She planted me flat on my back. "So you finally return all the feelings that I have been expressing at you." "Well it took someone saying something to me. I decided to take my own life in my own hands." As soon as i said that I felt as if a huge weight was pulled off my chest. 'I think I just learned a lesson well here comes Tuesday.' "You ok Avernus?" "Yea better than ever. Lets go then." That night I gained Sarah has a marefriend. That night I went to bed with Sarah. To awake to Tuesday. Chapter 4 TuesdayWhen I awoke to find that was not in my bed but instead in bed with Sarah. I felt a feeling of joy as that it was Tuesday, and not Monday again. I started to pull out of bed, tiring not to wake Sarah. "Hey where are you going?" Before I could respond Sarah pulled me back to the bed and gave me a very deep kiss. "Well I have to go open up the shop." "Well You best come have lunch with me then. I will stop in and steal you from work." I gave Sarah a nod of agreement, I trotted out and started heading for the shop. As I arrived at the shop I decided to keep the shop closed for a bit longer so I could collect my thoughts. "Should I talk to discord or the doctor first?" Then it hit me. I double tapped the watch to give the doctor a call. "Hello Doctor this is Avernus Bloom can you stop by Flowers by Bloom." There was short moment of static, then a loud hum. A loud humming noise came from behind me as the Tardis started to appear out of no where. The Brown stallion known as the Doctor poked his head out. "So Avernus what do you need?" "Hold on a sec I need to call another person. Discord Discord Discord Discord." As I finished, Discord appeared looking around the store. "Ah Avernus so you did progress a day." "Well hello Discord, I hope you know the doctor." Discord gave a look around to land his eyes on the Tardis and the brown stallion sitting next to it. "Why you must be the famed Doctor that can change anything that goes array? I know of you but never had the chance to meet you." The Doctor stood up and gave me the weirdest stare ever. "Avernus why did you bring Discord and me together is the better question?" "Well i wanted both of your opinions but I am not going to take them." Discord had a little bit of a shocked face at what I said. "And I thought that only I could speak in riddles. So then I assume that you learned something then Avernus." I gave Discord a nod of agreement, and turned towards the doctor. "Now doctor can you test to see if I am still stuck in the loop or not?" Before the doctor could lift his fancy pen, Discord butted in. "Ah here lies your problem Avernus, do you think you are still stuck in the loop?" After Discord said that I thought of what he really meant. "Yes." Discord gave me a look of understanding. "Good this pony is learning something finally. Now Avernus I will tell you this you have 4 more lessons to learn but they all must reflect upon the pony you are. However each of these lessons are linked only by you, and you must find the link they each hold." And with that Discord puffed away again leaving me alone with the doctor. I gave the doctor a look of puzzlement. "Well Avernus from what I guess by what Discord means is that you are on your own on solving everything. I cannot be much use to you and discord only seems to be speaking in riddles but guiding you along. Well it seems that if you need me just call." The brown stallion walked into his blue police box and it started to hum and vanish from the spot it rested. "Well that was a bust." I decided to open up the shop and stay open till after lunch. An hour before eleven o clock a customer walked in, the older pony from last night stopped in. "Welcome to Flowers by Bloom." "You were closed yesterday, so I decided to stop in before I went to work." I helped the him find everything he would have bought yesterday and gave him a cut on the dead flowers. "How did you know exactly what I wanted?" "Something kinda just lead the way." After I got him out the door the bride from yesterday walked in. "Welcome to Flowers by Bloom. Ah would you like to look at the wedding stuff?" She gave me the weird look like how did I know. "You were closed yesterday, but can you help me have my dream wedding on a budget?" I took her though the whole process of having the same wedding planned again. "Thank you thank you." She gave me a hug tighter then the first Monday that I helped her. After she was out the door Sarah walked in. "Hey Sarah, give me a minute to finish up." I was putting up the package that came yesterday. "Well take your time the restaurant should not be crowed that much." After I got done and was heading for the front door the first lady from yesterday walked in. "Welcome to Flowers by Bloom." Before she could speak I pulled up the arrangement that she was going to order.Her eyes sparkled when she saw the arrangement. "Sir I will buy that piece from you. How much?" "Thirty five bits." "That seems fair for a arrangement that is arranged this well. What is your name? So that I may spread it around my friends." "Avernus Bloom, but I will not be here for the next hour or so heading out for lunch. But thank you for helping spread the word of my business." The lady paid and left out leaving me alone with Sarah. "Avernus the restaurant should not take us that long to eat there." "Oh no we are going to somewhere special." Sarah gave me a weird look as if the person she knew has gone away. "I want to take you out to some where special." I took Sarah to a couple stores and we bought some food to go. I lead Sarah to a hill just outside of town. When we made it to the top of the hill Sarah hurried to the top to look out towards the fields of flowers growing. "Avernus this is beautiful. How come I have never heard about this place?" "Well this is where we get our flowers for the shop." Sarah looked over with a shocked face. "You mean to tell me you guys harvest all these flowers?" "No no we don't harvest them, we take what we think we will need for the week and replace what we take. Not that many people know about this field. It is kinda the families little secret." Sarah stopped talking and started looking out into the fields. We ate our lunch in the peacefulness of the field and enjoyed each others company. "Well I will be right back." I started to trot down the hill towards the field. I started gathering up every flower that I believe would work. As I took them from the stems I casted the spell to regrow the stem back to its glory. I trotted back up to where Sarah was sitting. "So you had some work to do. I see how it is." "Nope." I sat down, taking the flowers I picked and started weaving them together. Sarah looked at what I was doing and was amazed by what I was making. "Done." I held up a crown made of flowers and put it atop Sarah's head. She stared to blush, she then sneaked in a kiss on me, causing me to blush. "Well me queen of the field ready to head back to town?" "Why if the king of the field would join me?" We both departed for town, as we got half way to town the skies open up on us causing a down pour. We dashed back to town heading straight for the shop. We arrived at the shop soaked from hoofs to horn. "I have some towels in the back to dry off with." I walked into the back grabbing the towels and threw one to Sarah. "Dry off, we can stay here till the rain stops." "Thought the rain was planned till tomorrow morning." "Great I forgot about the weather schedule. Well we have two choices bunker down here or head to one our houses." Sarah started pondering what to do as I walked into the back room.I started to double tap the watch to ask the docotr for a lift but then it hit me. That I don't need help every time something bad happens to me but to just take everything and make the best of it. Then a feeling of another weight was lifted from my chest. 'Well here come Wednesday.' I walked back to the front room where Sarah was. To my amazement the Tardis was sitting in the back corner. Great the doctor is here. I looked around for the brown stallion, I did not see him nor did I see Sarah. The door on the Tardis was however open and seemed very inviting. I walked into the Tardis to expect to find Sarah sitting there with the doctor but only found there was nothing around. 'Where is everypony?' I walked around the whole Tardis expecting to find something or maybe a clue. I checked my watch to see it was almost midnight. 'What is going on?' Everything went dark and then I awoke in Sarah's bed. 'Its Tuesday again.' Chapter 5 Tuesday again!I awoke to Sarah's bed. 'What the. I thought I learned a lesson of not depending on people to help solve my problems.' I puzzled the idea around why I didn't learn a lesson. I decided to get out of Sarah's bed. As I pulled out of the bed Sarah dragged me back in and gave me the same deep kiss. "Where are you heading Avernus?" "I don't know I need some time to think about some things. We can meet up for lunch, I will stop by to grab you." I started to head out. "Oh don't forget a umbrella." Sarah gave me a confused look. I left Sarah with a puzzled look. I started to walk around town not even heading toward the shop. I instead headed for the field I showed Sarah last Tuesday. 'Why did I not progress a day, I thought I...' In mid thought a familiar buzzing noise came from behind me. I spun around to see the Tardis appearing behind me. The Brown stallion known as the Doctor poked his head out of the Tardis and gave me a signal to come in. I trotted into the Tardis to find myself face to face with the Doctor. I had many things on my head but I don't think the doctor could help me. "Doctor why are you helping me?" The Doctor raised a hoof to say something then put it back down. "Even better, can I call you a friend?" The Doctor was about to say something too me then he just walked to a sofa that was sitting behind his console. He gave me a signal to come over and sit with him. "Avernus why do you ask me these questions?" "I don't know it just feels like something I should be asking you. I have progressed four days and now on my fifth day when it is only Tuesday.My mind is kinda racing towards so many ideas. Like what if I die do I come back at the start of the new day or do I even need your help at all. My mind is asking questions that i don't know the answers too." The Doctor gave me a look of understanding. "Well Avernus why not ask for help? Getting help from ponies who care for you is not bad at all. It letting those issues get the better of you." As I processed what all the Doctor said, my mind started to process everything that has happened to me so far. "Doctor I ask again why are you helping me when you of all ponies can be any where and any time they want?" The Doctor gave me a look of puzzlement. "Great your the second pony to give me that look today." "Well you are asking me good question. I mean I could just leave you here to just stay in your loop for one million years then help you and then I could ask you questions of understanding. Avernus I have been alive for longer than you can count. It might just me not letting a big mistake happen again. Or better what would you do if you were to repeat this day for one hundred years. Would you start going mad or start not caring, would you do tings that are unimaginable. Avernus I don't think I could put you though something so traumatic." I gave the Doctor a look of thanks. "Wow I never thought about that. Thanks for putting that to retrospect for me. I guess asking for help is never wrong but expecting help is not better. If someone needs help ask them first then wait for them to ask." I felt better from this talk with the Doctor. "Thanks for the talk it helped a lot." "No problem Avernus, now don't you have something planned today." I checked my watch to see it was near noon. "Hey Doctor mind giving me a lift real quick?" He gave me a nod of agreement. "Where too?" "Where I meet you last night." The Tardis started to come to life making some noises that I could not explain. "Ok Avernus here we are have a good day hope to see you tomorrow." "Thanks for the help Doctor." I left the Tardis to find myself right next to Sarah's house. I trotted up to her door and knocked. "Coming" I waited at the door till came and opened the door. "Avernus you are done thinking good lets go." "Umbrella." "Why it is not to rain today?" "Just have a weird feeling." She gave me a puzzled look. I reached in and grabbed one. We left her house and headed to varying stores. I decided to take Sarah out to the field again. As we came to the top of the hill Sarah's jaw dropped. "Avernus this is beautiful." "Oh I know. Here setup the food I will be right back." I left Sarah to the food as I went and got the flowers I grabbed last Tuesday. I trotted back to the hill checking the sky. "Avernus they are very beautiful." I made her the same flower crown I did last Tuesday. "Avernus." Sarah reached over and gave me a very deep kiss. "It seems as if you know what to do before it happens are you psychic?" "No I just know how to be romantic. However these fields are where my family get our flowers for the shop." Sarah gave me a look of shock. "I have lived in this town all of my life and I have never seen this field ever." "Well it is a family secret." We finished the rest of our lunch in a quiet manner. I kept checking the sky checking to see when the sky was about to let loose some rain. The rain never came. I walked with Sarah back to her house to finish the day with her. The rest of the day went with no problems. "Sarah I need to be alone again?" "Ok but don't be long again." "Don't plan on it, just heading to my house real quick." She gave me a look of understanding. I left from Sarah's house and went home. As I got into the house.. "Discord Discord Discord Discord." After saying his name there sat Discord in one of my chairs wearing some very gentlestallion like clothing. "Hope I was not interrupting anything?" "Oh no no I was just visiting a friend." I walked up to Discord and sat down near him. "Now Discord can you explain something to me?" "Why yes I would but i must know what it might be first?" "The first Tuesday I did it rained, but today my second Tuesday it did not rain why is that?" "Oh that would be me changing things for you, so you know things just are not the same everyday." "Well I appreciate the help Discord but I don't need you changing anything for me. But I happy for the help." Discord just stared at me as if I just said something smart. "Well well look at Avernus he is learning things. Taking help from people when he asks but not taking given help. Good good you might finish your week in a year." "Oh I plan to give each day two days to learn my lesson. Well I bid you a good day Discord I have to go meet a certain mare right now." With that I left Discord sitting in my house as I went back to Sarah's house. I knocked at her door. "Avernus just come in and up to bed." Sarah was leaning out her window as she said that. Chapter 1 MondayI awoke to the sight of Celestia's sun poking though my window, the beam of light stuck me dead center in the eye. Being blinded by the light I got out of bed and rubbed my eye. "Forgot to close the blinds again." So I got ready for my day of work. Some had to run the Shop while everyone else was out for the festival. After getting all my stuff needed for today, I left for the shop. Along the way I ran into some of my friends, Edward a short brown with a coin cutie mark pegasus was staring directly at me as I came up to them. "Hey Avernus Heading to work?" "Yea I have a big day ahead of me" Sarah a red unicorn with a wand cutie mark "So Avernus got time to night to meet up with us, after you are done with the shop?" "Maybe depends on how much business I get today. No time to chat right now I have to go open up, talk to you all later." I left me friends as i went down the path to the store I semi-own. I stuck in my key to unlock the front door. As i stepped in, I tripped over a large piece of mail. "Well I really wonder how she does it?" Our mail carrier has some way to make packages fit in any hole, when she is just a pegasus pony. "I swear she must be a alicorn hiding her horn, there is no way she can do that with out magic. Might be why she deliverers at night." "Welcome to Flowers by Bloom." A blue unicorn entered she was looking for an arrangement that could be place in her dinner room. She expressed it had to match perfectly with the color of her room, never telling me what the color was. I finally had to wait for her to pick all the colors she wanted and design her a very nice arrangement. "My dear this is the best arrangement I have ever gotten thank you. "I heard about this place today from a friend she said the work by Avernus Bloom is superb." "Well I am Avernus, So how may i help you?" "I am looking for a foal shower gift. Preferable a very nice arrangement. Some blue since it will be a colt." As i was working on her arrangement her colt knocked over the whole display of stuff animals. "So sorry about that he just kinda likes stuff toys here I will buy these to recoup the time to clean them up" The mare ended up buying 5 stuff animals. Forty-five minutes later a bride came into the store. "Welcome to Flowers by Bloom." "Well I just got engaged last weekend and have been waiting to look at flowers. I had a friend recommend this place." "Well lets sit down and look at our wedding books." I sat her down in our bridal room to look though all the books. "I like this and this, oh why cannot my wedding be cheap but be grand at the same time?" "Well I could work out a deal for you." "Thank you thank you thank you" She leaped up and gave me a very tight hug,'Why is it that earth ponies given the tightest hugs ever, I mean really they hurt. I think don't even know there own strength.' I worked out her a great wedding on a budget she was very pleased. When it was twenty minutes before closing a older stallion came in wear a black cloak, "Welcome to Flowers by Bloom." He ignored me, he kept browsed everything in the store. He stopped at some of the vases but keep going around the store. He kept me waiting for about forty-five minutes till he finally came up to me at the desk. "Sir you would not happen to have any dead flowers?" "Yes I do they will go for a third the value." " That is fine with me, I only need them for some herbal supplies. Sorry that I took my time I was looking though all you had I how ever will be buying a couple things." "Well thank you for your business sir." He bought about forty stems of dead flowers and a bunch of vases and some of the mortars that I did not even notice we had. "Thank you sir and have a good night" "And to you too young stallion." Well it was after closing time so I decided that to close up shop and head to Sarah's place to let her know I was tired and was was not going to stay long. "Sorry Sarah, work kinda pulled a lot out of me." "But cannot you stay for a little bit" Sarah gave me these eyes that she really wanted me to stay. "Well alright, but only for an hour" Sarah gave out a little squeal. "Thank you" For the next twenty minutes Sarah and I sat in her house talking about everything. "So why didn't Edward show up?" Sarah looked away as I asked that question. "Well he said he had plans to meet up with some mares" "Edward and those mares, how soon do you think he will pop a question to some random mare again?" Sarah laughed at that. "I just hope he doesn't do it to me again, I told him already, I have my eyes set on a specific Stallion." Sarah eyes flared right at me. "I get the hint" The rest of the night was spent of us find how we were compatible. Later that night I looked at the clock. It said 11:25 pm. "Great stayed longer then I intended, sorry but i have to run home and get some sleep." Sarah frowned at that idea. "Why cannot you stay with me?" I didn't want to leave but I had too. "Well i don't have anything here, plus i have work early in the morning." I gave her a kiss was out the door. As soon I got home I was off to bed. "Ah the blinds, i don't want to repeat this morning again" So i shut the blinds so i would not be awoke by Celestia's sun again. My head hit the pillow and I taught how good the day was. Chapter 2 Monday?I awoke to Celestia's sun beaming right into my eye again. "Thought I closed the blinds last night" Feeling confused I got out of bed and got ready to head to work. "Sunday no yesterday was Monday." "No Avernus today is Monday. Did not get any sleep last night?" "I had a good nights rest, i went bed at regular time." "Well i have to go see yea later Avernus" Edward ran off leaving me alone with Sarah. "Well Avernus want to hang out tonight with me and Edward?" "Don't you mean just me and you?" Sarah gave me a blushed look. "Avernus are you hitting on me?" "Yes, but don't you remember the time we spent together last night?" "Avernus I was with my family last night for dinner. Are you ok you seem to be having weird thoughts. Maybe you should head home after work." "Sarah I . I will stop by after work and talk with you have to go open the shop now." I dashed off leaving a confused look on Sarah's face and a confused look on mine too. "Are you feeling of deja-vu?" "Yes, but how would you know?" "Well I'm the Doctor and I'm here to fix your problem. You seem to be stuck in a time loop." "Time loop?" "Well to be simple you are stuck repeating the week and each day may repeat or it might go on to the next day. or the same day could repeat forever." "Any idea of how to get out of this time loop?" "Well two ways the first is death the second is to stop it at its source." "Well I don't want to die and I have no idea what could be the cause of this loop." "Well that is why I am here to find what causes these loops and stop them cause they mess up my ship when they happen." "Your ship" "Ah the Tardis, want to see her?" "Sure." The Doctor lead me out of my shop allowing me to lock up. i followed him done some back alley ways to a blue police box. "Avernus meet the Tardis" "I taught police boxes are supposed to be red and this cannot be a ship." "Well then come on in." The doctor opened the door and walked in inviting me in. I followed in expecting a tight enclosed space but found myself in open space. I gave the doctor a dumbfound look. "I'm shocked." "Welcome to the Tardis Avernus, she can take you anywhere and anytime. You just have to simple ask." "Well can she take me to end of the loop?" "She can but the loop is infinite so we will go till you are dead and you don't want that." Still be dumbfounded by the Tardis the Doctor keep on speaking. "Well here is your problem I can take you anywhere but i cannot take you to anytime and when the day would reset my knowledge will be reset only person who know anything will be you Avernus. You must seek me out every day till the loop ends to try fixing it. I however will never be in the same spot each day but the same town as you. You must find the Tardis each day and talk with me. There are only a few things in your world that could cause a time loop and the only one I think who would do it is Discord." "Discord?" "Yes Discord. Have you ran into him before?" "Nope, last I heard about Discord was his defeat by the elements of harmony. Maybe they could stop the loop?" "Lets try then." As the Doctor went to the center of the Tardis, the sound of clock in the background chimed signaling midnight. "Remember Avernus seek me out. Also explain everything to me, the other me will help out." Everything went black and I awoke to a beam of Celestia's sun hitting me in the eye.
Chapter 3 Monday againComing to my senses I notice i was in my bed Monday morning again. Remembering what The Doctor said i got out of bed and got ready fast. I dashed out my door and headed straight for the shop. I ran right past Edward and Sarah. "Hey Avernus you seem to up earlier." "No time I have something important to take care of." Sarah looked worry at me. "Avernus can you hang out with us tonight." Remembering what Sarah did on the first night I decided to change my future a little. "Well how about me and you go out on a date this afternoon. I will stop by your place." Sarah was blushing so hard Edward started laughing. "Sorry but i really need to go." Before either one could say anything I was gone. I ran by the shop and put a sign saying sick come back tomorrow and sorry about the trouble. I started running towards the alley where The Doctor keep the Tardis. It took me a good twenty minutes to find the same alley. I got lost going down some strange alleyways finally found the alleyway that the Doctor took me down to where the Tardis was the last night but there was no blue police box. "I wonder where he is then.?" A sound came from behind and i turned to be face with a being that I could not explain. "Well well is this the person who is stuck in my chaos." "So you must be Discord I assume?" "Why yes I am Discord the master of chaos. Now may i ask who are you?" "Avernus Bloom. But before we get any further why me?" "Ah here is the thing about my magic I have control over it but I don't have full control. I control what happens but what it hits is random. So I sorry my dear pony what has happen to you. My magic be perceived as evil but sometimes a different view point can change somepony's view on life." Discord walked up to me his form changed to that of a pony. Unlike his appearance before this form to seem more gentle like as if he was caring for what was happening to me. "Discord can you stop the loop?" "Ah here in lies the problem I cannot this form of magic till a lesson is truly learned by the person under its effects. So you might find out that the person you are now doesn't want to be that person or a crush now might be a enemy later on. I will help you along the way since I have been reformed. I use my magic to help some ponies learn a lesson. I will be around to help you, unlike that dreadful doctor I will not be a problem to find. You simple have to call my name four times aloud and i will be there in matter of seconds." "Oh can I trust that you help me and not make things worse?" "Ah there lies another question is how can you trust anypony? Or better yet how can you trust yourself?" I gave discord a odd look. "Good question, I don't know. How about this how do i progress forward a day then to get to the end of the week?" "Well if one listens to everything I say you need to learn a valuable lesson to stop the loop well maybe if you get the gunk out of your ears." Discord was suddenly next to me reaching into my ears pull out a carrot size piece of wax from each of my ears. "To go forward a day you must learn a lesson that you will understand from your heart. I have helped you enough today if you learn your lesson today i will see you tomorrow if not happy today that is today." "But." As soon as i spoke Discord disappeared with a poof of a smoke cloud. It was little after mid day so i decide to wander town a little to maybe spot the Tardis, but no luck on finding it. So instead I went to Sarah's house hoping to at least make my day normal. After arriving at Sarah's house I noticed a blue police box sitting right next to her house. "You have got to be kidding me." I put my hoof to my face and let out a deep sigh. I started to walk towards the Tardis but then it hit me maybe Sarah might be the lesson I need to learn. So I decided t head to the Tardis first then head to Sarah's house. As I approached the Tardis the brown stallion known as the Doctor poked his out with his little pen and started pointing it towards me. "Why hello Doctor." The Doctor gave me a look of surprise on why I knew his name. "The name is Avernus Bloom and I hope I don't have to explain much to you." The Doctor signaled me to enter the Tardis. "Well how do you know so much?" "Well Doctor I already had this conversation with you in about six hours. I am the poor pony stuck in time loop done by Discord, which I have to say he is a very nice .... thing." "So you are what setting off all my alerts to time problems. Wait you said Discord, thought he was reformed?" "Well yes he is. I just got done talking to him, he is helping me out at least. Discord and I are the only ones not effected by the time loop." Doctor gave me a look of deep thought. then he went off towards a backroom. I heard some rummaging and items being flung out the door towards me. "You said time loop right?" "Yea. Discord said that I will progress a day when I learn some personal lesson that I will know." Doctor returned with a small box. "This might help you, help me, help you." He opened the box showing two watches. "These watches can withstand the paradox of a time loop. With these I should be able to help way sooner, then having you look for me." He placed a watch right above his right hoof and I did the same. "How do they work Doctor?" "Well first you simple touch the glass twice and start speaking The sound will be sent to me and i will hear everything and vise versa." "Thanks Doctor if this doesn't work then expect a call this morning. Well I have date to get too." I waved good bye to the doctor and headed out of the Tardis. I trotted about ten feet towards Sarah's front door and knocked. "Coming." Sarah opened the door and leap right out at me. She planted me flat on my back. "So you finally return all the feelings that I have been expressing at you." "Well it took someone saying something to me. I decided to take my own life in my own hands." As soon as i said that I felt as if a huge weight was pulled off my chest. 'I think I just learned a lesson well here comes Tuesday.' "You ok Avernus?" "Yea better than ever. Lets go then." That night I gained Sarah has a marefriend. That night I went to bed with Sarah. To awake to Tuesday.
Chapter 4 TuesdayWhen I awoke to find that was not in my bed but instead in bed with Sarah. I felt a feeling of joy as that it was Tuesday, and not Monday again. I started to pull out of bed, tiring not to wake Sarah. "Hey where are you going?" Before I could respond Sarah pulled me back to the bed and gave me a very deep kiss. "Well I have to go open up the shop." "Well You best come have lunch with me then. I will stop in and steal you from work." I gave Sarah a nod of agreement, I trotted out and started heading for the shop. As I arrived at the shop I decided to keep the shop closed for a bit longer so I could collect my thoughts. "Should I talk to discord or the doctor first?" Then it hit me. I double tapped the watch to give the doctor a call. "Hello Doctor this is Avernus Bloom can you stop by Flowers by Bloom." There was short moment of static, then a loud hum. A loud humming noise came from behind me as the Tardis started to appear out of no where. The Brown stallion known as the Doctor poked his head out. "So Avernus what do you need?" "Hold on a sec I need to call another person. Discord Discord Discord Discord." As I finished, Discord appeared looking around the store. "Ah Avernus so you did progress a day." "Well hello Discord, I hope you know the doctor." Discord gave a look around to land his eyes on the Tardis and the brown stallion sitting next to it. "Why you must be the famed Doctor that can change anything that goes array? I know of you but never had the chance to meet you." The Doctor stood up and gave me the weirdest stare ever. "Avernus why did you bring Discord and me together is the better question?" "Well i wanted both of your opinions but I am not going to take them." Discord had a little bit of a shocked face at what I said. "And I thought that only I could speak in riddles. So then I assume that you learned something then Avernus." I gave Discord a nod of agreement, and turned towards the doctor. "Now doctor can you test to see if I am still stuck in the loop or not?" Before the doctor could lift his fancy pen, Discord butted in. "Ah here lies your problem Avernus, do you think you are still stuck in the loop?" After Discord said that I thought of what he really meant. "Yes." Discord gave me a look of understanding. "Good this pony is learning something finally. Now Avernus I will tell you this you have 4 more lessons to learn but they all must reflect upon the pony you are. However each of these lessons are linked only by you, and you must find the link they each hold." And with that Discord puffed away again leaving me alone with the doctor. I gave the doctor a look of puzzlement. "Well Avernus from what I guess by what Discord means is that you are on your own on solving everything. I cannot be much use to you and discord only seems to be speaking in riddles but guiding you along. Well it seems that if you need me just call." The brown stallion walked into his blue police box and it started to hum and vanish from the spot it rested. "Well that was a bust." I decided to open up the shop and stay open till after lunch. An hour before eleven o clock a customer walked in, the older pony from last night stopped in. "Welcome to Flowers by Bloom." "You were closed yesterday, so I decided to stop in before I went to work." I helped the him find everything he would have bought yesterday and gave him a cut on the dead flowers. "How did you know exactly what I wanted?" "Something kinda just lead the way." After I got him out the door the bride from yesterday walked in. "Welcome to Flowers by Bloom. Ah would you like to look at the wedding stuff?" She gave me the weird look like how did I know. "You were closed yesterday, but can you help me have my dream wedding on a budget?" I took her though the whole process of having the same wedding planned again. "Thank you thank you." She gave me a hug tighter then the first Monday that I helped her. After she was out the door Sarah walked in. "Hey Sarah, give me a minute to finish up." I was putting up the package that came yesterday. "Well take your time the restaurant should not be crowed that much." After I got done and was heading for the front door the first lady from yesterday walked in. "Welcome to Flowers by Bloom." Before she could speak I pulled up the arrangement that she was going to order.Her eyes sparkled when she saw the arrangement. "Sir I will buy that piece from you. How much?" "Thirty five bits." "That seems fair for a arrangement that is arranged this well. What is your name? So that I may spread it around my friends." "Avernus Bloom, but I will not be here for the next hour or so heading out for lunch. But thank you for helping spread the word of my business." The lady paid and left out leaving me alone with Sarah. "Avernus the restaurant should not take us that long to eat there." "Oh no we are going to somewhere special." Sarah gave me a weird look as if the person she knew has gone away. "I want to take you out to some where special." I took Sarah to a couple stores and we bought some food to go. I lead Sarah to a hill just outside of town. When we made it to the top of the hill Sarah hurried to the top to look out towards the fields of flowers growing. "Avernus this is beautiful. How come I have never heard about this place?" "Well this is where we get our flowers for the shop." Sarah looked over with a shocked face. "You mean to tell me you guys harvest all these flowers?" "No no we don't harvest them, we take what we think we will need for the week and replace what we take. Not that many people know about this field. It is kinda the families little secret." Sarah stopped talking and started looking out into the fields. We ate our lunch in the peacefulness of the field and enjoyed each others company. "Well I will be right back." I started to trot down the hill towards the field. I started gathering up every flower that I believe would work. As I took them from the stems I casted the spell to regrow the stem back to its glory. I trotted back up to where Sarah was sitting. "So you had some work to do. I see how it is." "Nope." I sat down, taking the flowers I picked and started weaving them together. Sarah looked at what I was doing and was amazed by what I was making. "Done." I held up a crown made of flowers and put it atop Sarah's head. She stared to blush, she then sneaked in a kiss on me, causing me to blush. "Well me queen of the field ready to head back to town?" "Why if the king of the field would join me?" We both departed for town, as we got half way to town the skies open up on us causing a down pour. We dashed back to town heading straight for the shop. We arrived at the shop soaked from hoofs to horn. "I have some towels in the back to dry off with." I walked into the back grabbing the towels and threw one to Sarah. "Dry off, we can stay here till the rain stops." "Thought the rain was planned till tomorrow morning." "Great I forgot about the weather schedule. Well we have two choices bunker down here or head to one our houses." Sarah started pondering what to do as I walked into the back room.I started to double tap the watch to ask the docotr for a lift but then it hit me. That I don't need help every time something bad happens to me but to just take everything and make the best of it. Then a feeling of another weight was lifted from my chest. 'Well here come Wednesday.' I walked back to the front room where Sarah was. To my amazement the Tardis was sitting in the back corner. Great the doctor is here. I looked around for the brown stallion, I did not see him nor did I see Sarah. The door on the Tardis was however open and seemed very inviting. I walked into the Tardis to expect to find Sarah sitting there with the doctor but only found there was nothing around. 'Where is everypony?' I walked around the whole Tardis expecting to find something or maybe a clue. I checked my watch to see it was almost midnight. 'What is going on?' Everything went dark and then I awoke in Sarah's bed. 'Its Tuesday again.'
Chapter 5 Tuesday again!I awoke to Sarah's bed. 'What the. I thought I learned a lesson of not depending on people to help solve my problems.' I puzzled the idea around why I didn't learn a lesson. I decided to get out of Sarah's bed. As I pulled out of the bed Sarah dragged me back in and gave me the same deep kiss. "Where are you heading Avernus?" "I don't know I need some time to think about some things. We can meet up for lunch, I will stop by to grab you." I started to head out. "Oh don't forget a umbrella." Sarah gave me a confused look. I left Sarah with a puzzled look. I started to walk around town not even heading toward the shop. I instead headed for the field I showed Sarah last Tuesday. 'Why did I not progress a day, I thought I...' In mid thought a familiar buzzing noise came from behind me. I spun around to see the Tardis appearing behind me. The Brown stallion known as the Doctor poked his head out of the Tardis and gave me a signal to come in. I trotted into the Tardis to find myself face to face with the Doctor. I had many things on my head but I don't think the doctor could help me. "Doctor why are you helping me?" The Doctor raised a hoof to say something then put it back down. "Even better, can I call you a friend?" The Doctor was about to say something too me then he just walked to a sofa that was sitting behind his console. He gave me a signal to come over and sit with him. "Avernus why do you ask me these questions?" "I don't know it just feels like something I should be asking you. I have progressed four days and now on my fifth day when it is only Tuesday.My mind is kinda racing towards so many ideas. Like what if I die do I come back at the start of the new day or do I even need your help at all. My mind is asking questions that i don't know the answers too." The Doctor gave me a look of understanding. "Well Avernus why not ask for help? Getting help from ponies who care for you is not bad at all. It letting those issues get the better of you." As I processed what all the Doctor said, my mind started to process everything that has happened to me so far. "Doctor I ask again why are you helping me when you of all ponies can be any where and any time they want?" The Doctor gave me a look of puzzlement. "Great your the second pony to give me that look today." "Well you are asking me good question. I mean I could just leave you here to just stay in your loop for one million years then help you and then I could ask you questions of understanding. Avernus I have been alive for longer than you can count. It might just me not letting a big mistake happen again. Or better what would you do if you were to repeat this day for one hundred years. Would you start going mad or start not caring, would you do tings that are unimaginable. Avernus I don't think I could put you though something so traumatic." I gave the Doctor a look of thanks. "Wow I never thought about that. Thanks for putting that to retrospect for me. I guess asking for help is never wrong but expecting help is not better. If someone needs help ask them first then wait for them to ask." I felt better from this talk with the Doctor. "Thanks for the talk it helped a lot." "No problem Avernus, now don't you have something planned today." I checked my watch to see it was near noon. "Hey Doctor mind giving me a lift real quick?" He gave me a nod of agreement. "Where too?" "Where I meet you last night." The Tardis started to come to life making some noises that I could not explain. "Ok Avernus here we are have a good day hope to see you tomorrow." "Thanks for the help Doctor." I left the Tardis to find myself right next to Sarah's house. I trotted up to her door and knocked. "Coming" I waited at the door till came and opened the door. "Avernus you are done thinking good lets go." "Umbrella." "Why it is not to rain today?" "Just have a weird feeling." She gave me a puzzled look. I reached in and grabbed one. We left her house and headed to varying stores. I decided to take Sarah out to the field again. As we came to the top of the hill Sarah's jaw dropped. "Avernus this is beautiful." "Oh I know. Here setup the food I will be right back." I left Sarah to the food as I went and got the flowers I grabbed last Tuesday. I trotted back to the hill checking the sky. "Avernus they are very beautiful." I made her the same flower crown I did last Tuesday. "Avernus." Sarah reached over and gave me a very deep kiss. "It seems as if you know what to do before it happens are you psychic?" "No I just know how to be romantic. However these fields are where my family get our flowers for the shop." Sarah gave me a look of shock. "I have lived in this town all of my life and I have never seen this field ever." "Well it is a family secret." We finished the rest of our lunch in a quiet manner. I kept checking the sky checking to see when the sky was about to let loose some rain. The rain never came. I walked with Sarah back to her house to finish the day with her. The rest of the day went with no problems. "Sarah I need to be alone again?" "Ok but don't be long again." "Don't plan on it, just heading to my house real quick." She gave me a look of understanding. I left from Sarah's house and went home. As I got into the house.. "Discord Discord Discord Discord." After saying his name there sat Discord in one of my chairs wearing some very gentlestallion like clothing. "Hope I was not interrupting anything?" "Oh no no I was just visiting a friend." I walked up to Discord and sat down near him. "Now Discord can you explain something to me?" "Why yes I would but i must know what it might be first?" "The first Tuesday I did it rained, but today my second Tuesday it did not rain why is that?" "Oh that would be me changing things for you, so you know things just are not the same everyday." "Well I appreciate the help Discord but I don't need you changing anything for me. But I happy for the help." Discord just stared at me as if I just said something smart. "Well well look at Avernus he is learning things. Taking help from people when he asks but not taking given help. Good good you might finish your week in a year." "Oh I plan to give each day two days to learn my lesson. Well I bid you a good day Discord I have to go meet a certain mare right now." With that I left Discord sitting in my house as I went back to Sarah's house. I knocked at her door. "Avernus just come in and up to bed." Sarah was leaning out her window as she said that. I walked in and went to bed with me marefriend. Author's Note Sorry about the long wait for a update, been unpacking and starting a new job. Going to try putting a new chapter up each morning as I get off work.
