Chapters 1-10View OnlineThe story of no names.Chapters 1-10Chapter 1 Week 3, Day 4, Hearth Warming: I’ve noticed a new pony in town. Yet to talk to them, but can tell they are shy: avoiding others at all costs. Casually pretending to be preoccupied, a quick glance confirms my previous suspicions. Granted my eyesight held together over the previous days, they appear to be a light gray. Perhaps a... sliver if you will: without the gleam. Week 4, Day 2, Hearth Warming: As I was reading the daily paper and enjoying a quick coffee break, new pony trots up. Could they have noticed my interest in them? Maybe they just knew a chat was incoming. Deeper research into this shall be performed at a later date. I then, casually, say hello, and after a few quick seconds -which seemed awkwardly forever- I repeat myself, slightly louder. He and or she (still not sure) responds with a simple nod, gesturing that they heard me. About to invite them to join me, they vacate the area. Oddly enough, a feeling of... assurance and acceptance of this washed over me. What sort of tricks are they playing? Chapter 2 ... Chapter 3 Week 1, Day 7, Suns Return: Upon this day, it has been a while since I first “conversed” -if you can even call it that- with the new pony. They stop by my house, and nod, as if that’s all they wanted to do; Celestia only knows how they found it. With each day I begin to think that they are not of this world, or kingdom nonetheless. I wish to find out more still, even after the passing of all this time. Chapter 4 Week 5, Day 4, Suns Setting: Almost a complete year has passed, and this pony’s name escapes my grasp still. Any further attempts to converse are... less than successful. I can’t even open my mouth before, poof, whoosh, or what have you, they’re gone. Simply mystifying... Chapter 5 ...... Chapter 6 Week 1, Day 1, Hearth Warming: Year anniversary. This pony has become a major part of my life. Why, you might ask? Even I am not sure. I just take interest in them. As silent as a night sky, a charismatic aura follows in their wake... Chapter 7 .......................................... Chapter 8 Week 4, Day 6, Suns Return: I’ve been driven to the brink of insanity. This pony, somehow, eluded my grasp, vocal abilities, my sight (for the most part), and my interactions. How? However, despite ALL of that... I feel a strange connection with them. As if... I’ve known them since I was a wee filly, and shared our entire lives together. What does it all mean... Chapter 9 Week 3, Day 9, Suns Visit: Words escape me. I’ll write later. Chapter 9 .......................................................................................................................... Chapter 10 Week 6, Day 4, Suns Setting: Everyday I get weaker and weaker. My body is beginning to fail me. Daily stomach cramps, intestinal discomfort... even the best medicine available has to provide any significant relief. What could have caused this...? On the note of the “new” pony, no recent developments.
Chapters 11-17View OnlineThe story of no names.Chapters 11-17Chapter 11 Nurses frantically rush to and fro. Doctors giving orders. The hospital in utter chaos. Nothing like this has been ever seen before. This severe of a case, unheard of: the patient flatlining. One doctor, a dashing young stallion, coat of light blue, orders the final attempt at revival. “CLEAR,” rings out through the, small, box shaped room. The patients chest jerks, and a slight pulse is being picked up by the machines. As the doctors and nurses cheer, in the happiest of tones, for their remarkable task, the pulse drops. Patient was declared legally dead minutes after, by the same doctor. Chapter 12 Dearest family members, I’m sorry to say, but your very own was deceased due to an unknown disease. We fear it may become unstoppable if actions are not taken immediately. The purpose of this letter is to ask for legal rights to your beloved’s body for research purposes. We promise, if you agree, to return them in the best of possible conditions for a proper funeral. Of course, the option is always yours to decide. Please send your response within two days of receiving this. Condolences, Doct- The rest of the name is smudged and is illegible. Chapter 13 Hospital Records: Patients deceased from new illness: 158 Doctor’s note: The number steadily rises each day. More and more ponies coming in. Even with the best and utmost focus on hygiene, many of our own staff have fallen ill. We fear that this disease shall wipe out ponykind soon if it continues at this rate. In only two hours, the number went from 3, to it’s current. We’re trying our best, but alas... it’s to no prevail... Chapter 14 Deare- Hope you get this... for it may be our last hope. Take it to the high council, and have a team study it. I’ve been told of hearsay by locals that it actually CURED somepony. I know we don’t have any proof, but it’s worth a shot... right? As for the other mat- The letter is stained in mud from which the carrier dropped it. That’s all that could be made out. Attached to a small box, it is delivered to mare. This mare yields a brilliant red coat. The same mare opens the box to reveal a small, cylindrical object. Unknown of it’s location, and acquiring, she does as the letter instructs. Chapter 15 Five months have passed since the first death. Few remain on the surface, and those who are, doomed to die within the next hour or so. The status of most Equestria is in complete decay. Reports of the Griffin Kingdom collapsing have been confirmed. The few remaining survivors are below the plague stricken soils of the above world. Food supplies, morale, and time running low, they need a cured. Now. Chapter 16 The object has been fully analyzed. It is believed to, somehow, cause the disease to yield it’s attack on the body. The -even fewer than before- survivors don’t care how it works. Just that it does. They proceed to the surface, where, upon leaving the underground, instantly contract the illness. No life can seen as far as the eye can see. All that remains of the above world is the smoldering remains of a world thrown into chaos. Ash trickles down from the sky, the sun stained a light tint of grey. That’s all it was now. Grey. Everything. No color, no life, no nothing. Nothing but grey. Chapter 17 Three months after the cure was deployed. All that remains is the grey. The survivors foolishly perished in hopes for a cure. Not to be blamed: surely would’ve died down there of starvation. Upon the hill where the coffee shop once stood, is a single pony. The only life that remains in this world.

They stood above a single gravestone, listening to the slight pitter-patter of light rain as it struck that lone, worn, and solemn stone. Inscribed on the gravestone was... well nothing. Nothing was known about the pony buried there. Yet, this pony, this single pony who visited when the clock struck none, placed a small bouquet of flowers in front of the empty stone.
The True EndView OnlineThe story of no names.The True EndThe End Alone stood a single pony in the midst of the melancholy night. They stood above a single gravestone, listening to the slight pitter-patter of light rain as it struck that lone, worn, and solemn stone. Inscribed on the gravestone was... well nothing. Nothing was known about the pony buried there. Yet, this pony, this single pony who visited when the clock struck none, placed a small bouquet of flowers in front of the empty stone. They place the flowers for not one, but all life. Being the only organic being in the world, they sit, and stare at the gravestone. Blank, still, as if expecting words to appear. How? Unknown. A few minutes pass. They get up, and trot off. Wishing they had talked to more than that one pony reading the paper, and enjoying coffee, only, what seemed to be a month or so ago. For the time the clock strikes it’s first in a day, the single pony reaches their destination. The very top of Canterlot Castle. Hesitation none, they bound off the roof. Altitude dropping rapidly, air whizzing past, going deaf from the noise. SPLAT. The ground has been hit. Eyes... slowly closing. Black.
