Prologue: The death of a Hero
The interrogation room was hot. The prisoner had only been put in a few minutes ago, yet she was already sweating. Grey floors, a metal table, and an one way mirror decorated the room. A soft hum could be heard in the background. She was in an anti magic area after all, even though she herself wasn't a unicorn. They had taken her here from a dark cell. The pale light was blinding compared to the isolation she came from.
The cuffs were tightly bound around her hooves, locked behind the metal chair she sat in. She flexed her hooves, and received pain as a response. Turning her head she gave a coy smile to the eyes watching from behind the one way mirror. Time passed slowly until he walked in.
The interrogators face was wrinkled, white streaked through his light brown mane, his coat was a darker brown. Everything about him screamed plain, except his eyes... and his scars. He sat down across from her, and their eyes locked. Anger, menace, intimidation, radiated from them.
She knew, even before the blows started, that she was going to die. She was captured and held by the worst possible people. Then again, after what she was apart off, getting caught by anyone was a sure death sentence. Leaning her body towards him she pulled her face into a huge grin. The chair creaked, and the cuffs dug into her hooves.
"A beautiful day isn't it." She remarked.
The interrogator's brow furrowed. He pulled a folder from his saddlebag, the prisoner's face was on the cover. "Do you know why you're here?" he asked in a gruff voice.
Her face turned innocent, it would have melt the heart of any stallion. Yet, he was unfazed by it. She again, took in the scars on his face and body. He was clearly military, or part of the Royal Guard. He was tough. She would get nowhere flirting, and playing coy would be painful. Good thing she enjoyed pain. "I have no idea, I'm a good girl!" she squeaked.
He opened the folder, and pulled out 4 photos. He set the first photo on the table, turning the photo to face her, he pushed it into view with his hoof.
A pony could be seen lying on the ground. Her hooves had stakes driven into them, so that her body formed a X. The blue of her coat mixed with the red blood. She looked at the mares face, drinking in the memories of the kill. The mares eyelids were open, but her eyes were removed. Her mouth was twisted into a grotesque scream, blood was caked under her nostrils. The prisoners eyes sunk lower on the picture. The mares chest was cut down the middle. You wouldn't be able tell if any organs had been taken by the picture alone, but she knew exactly what was missing. The mares heart, lungs and liver had been taken for sacrifice. As her eyes travailed lower, her heartbeat increased, memories flooded back. Finally her eyes reached the mares pussy, moisture started to gather between her legs as she took it in. There wasn't much left to be honest. Nothing to arouse, the picture just showed a bloody gaping hole. It was the memories that made her wet. The spikes they had driven in, the screams and moans the mare had let loose before death. She licked her lips. Seeing her arousal the interrogator pulled the photo back.
His eyes narrowed, fury built in him as her pleasure increased. He stood and walked over to her side of the room. He turned the chair towards him.
Her legs were shut tightly. Lust was locked in her eyes, they darted back and forth from his face to his crotch.
His teeth were locked tight, and he shook with anger. He brought his hoof up and struck her mouth. The force of the blow knocked out a tooth and sent the chair to the ground. He pulled her up, as she spat out a glob of blood.
"Now please try to contain yourself as we continue." he said as his anger emptied out. He retook his position across from her.
"You hit like a bitch." She said. She smiled a wide grin her missing tooth plainly visible.
He set down 2 more photos, each photo had a body in it, the body was positioned in the same way as the first. The only difference was the sex and age of the victims; a stallion, and a filly. The stallion was missing his penis and testicles. The filly had been skinned, and her pussy was gaping in the same way as the mare. The prisoners breath quickened when she saw the filly but the blow had done the trick. She could barely stay conscious left alone feel arousal. He sat down the last photo. It was a picture of an open casket next to the hole it was dug up from. A glimmer of hope filed her heart when she saw the photo. It reminded her of the mission. The reason of her being, and helped ebb away the physical pain.
"Three deaths, and an exhumed body. You're clearly a suck fuck, but these had reason. Why did you do this, and who are your accomplices?" he demanded.
"Telling this quickly would spoil the fun though." She teased.
"You can't hide it, we know what you did, and who you dug up. You are only delaying the inevitable." He quipped.
"Oh, but if you know so much already why do you need me?" She purred.
"We need to know where they are, and how many followers she's gathered." he responded,
"Last I heard she was all alone in Canterlot staying at the Pony Deluxe in the Honeymoon Suite." She laughed.
He back-hoofed her.
Her face twisted at the blow. She turned back towards him, and sent a glob of blood into his eye. Her chair tilted back as she roared with laughter.
He grunted, and wiped the blood away. Eyes aflame he turned back to her. Raising his arm, he pulled back, and delivered a punch directly into her nose. A sickening crunch ensued as blood and snot burst forth from the twisted remains of her nostrils.
Her head rolled, and spun with the pain.
"I ask you again where is she?" He roared.
"Go to hell." she whispered.
He reached into his bag and pulled out cuff keys. He unlocked her hooves she collapsed to the floor.
She was given no time to rest as his hoof connected with her abdomen. She let out a groan. Another blow, and another. Blackness and pain was all she felt now. The beating continued until finally she whimpered. "Stop, I'll talk."
He pulled her up, and put the cuffs back on. Dumping her into the chair he sat back down. He pulled a recorder from his bag setting it on the table he pressed play. "Talk." he said.
"No." she said.
His eyes flashed, and his anger flared.
"I'll only tell you." She turned her head to the mirror, eyes meeting with an invisible being. He turned and looked at the mirror.
Time stilled.
"You may leave captain." announced an unknown voice.
The investigator left. She was left to wait in her pain building, pulling in raged breaths she watched the door. Losing, and regaining consciousness as the time slipped by. After what seemed like an eternity, the door opened. In walked the most beautiful mare she had ever seen. She hadn't changed a day, which wasn't surprising considering she was a 1000 years old. The prisoner hadn't seen the princess in over 10 years, back when Sweetiebell was still alive and her destiny hadn't been revealed to her.
Celestia looked at the prisoner, pity and disgust filled her eyes.
"You poor child..." Celestia said "You don't realize what you have done, but we can still fix it. Tell me where she is, and I will forgive your crimes. I remember you, Scootaloo, you were a happy child. You weren't evil, not like what she became. There is still good left in you tell me the truth, and end this."
"I don't plain on telling you anything." Scootaloo said. She smiled wide again multiple teeth missing, but not the important one... Scootaloo still had one last trick tucked away.
"You will tell me." Menace filled her voice. "My magic is strong, but I can't promise what state your mind will be in when I'm finished. I'm sorry it had to end this way... Clearly she has tainted your mind filled you with lies." She sighed. “If you won't speak with me I'll leave, and send back in the Captain. You will be punished for wasting my time.” Celestia turned to leave.
"Wait. I have one more thing left to say."
Celestia turned back towards Scootaloo
"Come closer." Scootaloo said.
Celestia moved next to Scootaloo. Their faces were a few inches apart.
"You betrayed her, killed her, to preserve your power. She is back, and she will kill you.
Try as you might you won't stop the Eclipse." Scootaloo bit down hard on a fake back tooth releasing a lethal dose of Cyanide. She screamed as her throat and stomach melted convulsing in the metal chair. She finally went still...
Celestia backed away face distraught, and in her eyes a small flicker of fear flashed.
Scootaloo was not the first death nor would she be the last.
The Eclipse was coming, and it's impact would change Equestria forever.
