Doctor Whooves Part One
The Stranger
Load Full StoryNext ChapterIt was a rather peaceful day, clouds hung in the sky, birds chirped happily and the sun was out and blazing. It was a peaceful planet, somewhere to be cherished and loved. No wars had happened in thousands of years and many different species held homes here. The peace was disrupted when a small, teenie-tiny rift opened up on the sky and a small void stuff covered blue police box flow through it, the object crashed through the sky and despite the strange momentum the box had, it landed almost perfectly, on its side.
The peace soon returned and the birds began to sing again, the clouds continued to sit completely still and everything was in harmony.
The door to the magical blue box opened in sideways and a male brown Earth pony climbed out, he trotted around for a few seconds in silence. He aced around staring at the grass, the clouds, the trees, everything, taking it all in.
"This isn't right. I was head for Oxon Four and a black hole appeared, I should be dead, or at the very least, on some planet in a parallel universe regenerating. Here, her I have no idea where I am. The air is too clean, the sky is too, blue. Everything here is wrong. Where am I?" He said to himself.
"Right, first things first-" The pony breathed in, deep. "Right, the air is perfect oxygen, its perfect, nothing has seemed to disrupt this universe, something is wrong. But I need to get you up the right way old girl." The pony said, presumably referring to the blue box, he walked forward and fell over, he seemed confused. The pony stood up and looked at his body, long and hard, the suit he wore, the brown fur, sand clock cutie mark, he looked at himself in complete disbelief.
"I am a horse!" The pony shouted. "A brown talking horse!" He cried out. "What is going on?" He asked nopony, just himself. He shock the thought away and continued, trotting more carefully now, he jumped back into the box and closed the door. After a few moments the box vanished with a strange noise, it then reapeared standing up the right way. The doors opened again and the brown pony walked out.
"Okay, strange, perfect planet, I have somehow changed species completely into a horse and have no knowledge of what is going on." He muttered, then smiled. "That'll be a first!" He laughed.
"Right, first off, I need to find some other people, maybe not horses, but people, anything that I can talk to." The pony said and began to trot away in a random direction. The pony looked around his surroundings for anything that could show civilization. Nothing so far, but he would keep looking. The sun was making the day hot and the thin cloud layer wasn't helping. The pony wondered for some time in the heat and finally saw a small, dirt pathway with a sign on a pole on the road. The pony trotted toward it, staring at the sign to read it. On on side it said Appaloosa west, twenty miles, and Ponyville east, quarter mile. The pony read the sign over and over, constantly blinking to refresh his vision. But no, it said Ponyville. The pony stared at it for a while then burst out laughing.
"Ponyville?" He said, laughing himself, he was drunk with laughter already. "What, what sort of name is that?" He giggled. He laughed for some time and finally gathered himself enough to speak again.
"Okay, Ponyville.-" The pony suppressed a laugh. "-Better head there since its closer." He muttered and began to walk down the pathway. Soon a forest of trees began to form either side of the road and the pony stopped to inspect one. He tapped on the oak with his hoof, nodded to himself then sniffed it, nodded again and then reached his head closer, and licked the tree. He spat out the taste in disgust.
"Real oak, not artificial, man made, or horse made, perfect structure, look, sound, this place seems a lot like a perfection world rather than one with civilization, nothing has been altered, nothing." The brown pony said to himself, getting more confused and bewildered by the second. He shock his head and tapped on the tree again, perfect pitch, sound, tone, everything. He nodded and began to trot onwards again.
The forest got more dense and the trees grew larger, the sun's rays were finally cut off and the air began to get cooler. The pony smiled.
"That's better." The pony said, enjoying the cool air. He smiled and almost forgot about what was going on, almost.
The walk was now into its twentieth minute and the pony was bored.
"This is taking forever, so not a quarter mile, lying sign." The pony grunted but continued on. He was beginning to become thirsty and tired. He grumbled in annoyance and kept going.
"Should have taken the TARDIS as soon as I read the sign, just keep popping eastwards until I reached this-" He paused sniggering. "-Ponyville." He said with a straight face. The pony wondered forward again after stopping himself from laughing, he trotted upwards and onwards, toward a small hill, once the stallion had climbed it he looked onto a small town or village, full of bright buildings and a colourful landscape, high hills and stone mountains could be seen surrounding the otherwise flatland settlement.
"Ponyville, I am here." He said. The pony's voice was calm and caring, the sound of a caring monk or a father. He was a character of love and tolerance, but also of hatred and war. The pony had gone through countless things that would turn an ordinary man crazy, he had stared into the Void and stayed determined and held his ground. He had lived through the Time War and stolen his girl, the TARDIS and fled, seeing the universe and seeing everything. He was a man of many names, a warrior and destroyer, and also a knight and saviour. He was an enemy of many and the saviour of countless. He was just a simple man trying to save everyone, he was the Predator, he was The Doctor.
