The Elements of Harmony Return

A shower of meteors, on the 1,000th year of the rule of Queen Galaxy, The ‘daughter’ of Princess Celestia. Her rule had some war fare but was otherwise peaceful.
The descendants of the elements of harmony, the nobles who are starting to not care for the ponies, send one of their own to act as the years elements of harmony, sadly last year a sage of great power said that the elements of harmony have moved on to their new users, sadly the sage lost his head to the guillotine sometime later. One of them, the one to become their leader well he’s a bit odd…
A light blue gray Stallion is seen running from a Pinkish Blue alicorn. “I WILL HELP YOU!” the Mare’s voice said as the poor stallion ran. The poor Stallion’s name was Nick Timerunner. The city of new cantorlot, built after the second Great War 300 years ago, was a military city. Sadly Nick ran out of running room so, he teleported away.
The orphanage that Nick and his 5 friends lived at was a bit run down but still functioned as a home. The caretaker, a noble that allows it stay, in that condition. (The nobles hate taxes you see.) The Stallions Grey blue stripped mane fluttered as he landed in the foyer. “Ah yer back!” Applefire said. Applefire had an orange coat with a reddish mane that was long but short. Her cutie mark was an apple on fire. Her skill was making weapons made out of apples. “Yep.” Nick said as he walked to the living room. Sitting on a cushion was Bladerunner a pure blue colt whose eyes shone an odd red and green color.
“Ah your hear Nick, I heard the harvest festival is coming up and a group of ponies are going to be picked to be the new elements of harmony!” Bladerunner said smiling. “Neat!” he said as Surprise came with Blueblood Jr. and of course the bane of his existence, Princess Soul. “Greetings from the castle, we have been sent to play!” Blueblood Jr. said smiling. “Yep!” Surprise said.
Princess Soul nodded and the group went to bed. The next morning the city was abuzz with activity as the Harvest festival started. 1,500 years ago, when the Element of magic was the last one remaining alive, she gave the elements to the noble families and each year the elements of harmony left them until the last batch last year.
Nick and Applefire walked side by side as the hunted for the rest of the group. “Ya see them yet?” Applefire asked as the two spotted the picking of elements area. “For now let’s go and watch this.” Nick said as the two went to the area. They took their seats. The one announcing was last year’s Element of magic, Lola Flamingo. “Ah if it isn’t Nick and Apple fire, Pixie says hi!” Pixie said. The Light grey unicorn mare walked up to them and took a seat behind them. “I can’t wait for them to pick this year’s elements of harmony.” She said as Nick and Applefire nodded.
Meanwhile Bladerunner was at a booth with a pink filly. “So Pinkie tron 4000, what should I call you?” He asked the cyborg. “Pinkie Pie.” She said nuzzling her creator smiling. Bladerunner nodded. “Ok.”
Back with the Group Lola had finished a very boring speech. “Now then let us choose those who will be the next elements of harmony for the year!” Lola said loudly. The cheering started to annoy Nick but he held back yelling. “Now start coming up and wear the crown!” The cheering got very loud and soon a line was formed.
Soon ponies sadly didn’t get picked until it was Nick’s turn. “Sigh here we go…” he said. He put on the crown when it suddenly started to glow. “Uhh what the heck is going on?” he said as the crown let out a bright light. Once it cleared Nick had a crown with a Ruby shield on top. “What the heck happened?” he asked as ponies looked shocked.
“It seems that my little pony you are the next element of Magic.” The queen, Galaxy said appearing. “Oh joy.” Nick said. “And why am I the element of Magic?” he said confused. “It would seem you’re a decedent of Twilight sparkle.” The queen said as ponies started to whisper. “Now then let us take you to the castle.” She said.
Nick just nodded and was soon led to the castle. In the crowd Applefire was afraid for her best friend and though felt like she needed to hunt him down and keep him safe.
Meanwhile a pony was looking over some notes that looked like this:
Nick Timerunner: Our main hero and soon to be element of harmony. He is known to refuse help if it is ever needed but help others. He is the Element of magic. He is sarcastic and can fight but rarely does so. The oldest of the orphan 5 and is the oldest at the age of 20
Bladerunner: A Pegasus who is the second oldest at the age of 18. He is invents stuff and made Pinkie-tron 4000, he is sad to be loyal to a fault.
Surprise: A female pure white Pegasus with a yellow mane that is known for her kindness and Ability to teleport. Has a hidden past.
Applefire: Think of applejack but not very honest but the most generous pony ever seen. Is tied for the third oldest with Pixie at the age of 17.
Pixie: the least known of the ponies. Is the clone of Trixie but was sent into the future because I say so. She is tied with Applefire for third oldest.
Blueblood Jr.: the very opposite of the original blueblood. He is very friendly and is known to donate large amounts of money to funds.
Princess Soul: A pinkish Blue alicorn who is stated to rarely appear at all in the story. She is the oldest of the group total and is known for honesty.
"hmmm in is nearing the time to summon the other elements of harmony." he said laughing evilly.
