Foreword: Characters are human, but possess wings if they can fly, magic is used via fingers. Now please enjoy some Luna.
Today was a rather average day. You woke up and had your usual morning breakfast, eggs, toast, and for flair, sausage. Then again you always had sausage “for flair”, nothing special about that. Then again, you were nothing special yourself. At 5'10" you were average in terms of height. You weighed 200 lbs., most of it muscle. Not having anything to do, you had taken up working out. You were nothing close to muscular or strong, but you didn't have a bad image. Your hair was a dark brown, just like your average man. Then you had your one defining feature. Your eyes were silver colored, uncommon, but hardly unique, and definitely nothing special. Your face was cleanly shaven, so once again, normal. The only things you really had over those you dealt with daily were the fact that you were educated as a psychologist, and you were truly quite a kind person. You usually would be glad to help anyone that truly needed it, going so far as to give your life savings to your sister after her accident three years ago. She then promptly disappeared and you haven't seen her since. All of this by the age of twenty-eight.
The place you lived in was by no means amazing. It was a simple two bedroom apartment. It was just as average as you were, but it was home. After breakfast, you took your usual shower, cold like every working morning. Then you went to your job, a job at the Canterlot watering hole, aptly named The Watering Hole. As usual, only a few came in for a drink. You never really did too much until the dinner crowd, but you never really enjoyed this job. You only took it because it was the best job you were offered. You really never cared for most of the people that would come to have a drink and try to talk with you.
Most of them were there with sob stories, just trying to get your attention and sympathy; maybe even get a free drink out of you. As if you had the ability to give out free drinks. You had to pay for any drink that you gave out without the manager’s permission, and none of the clientele deserved that honor. Then she walked in.
She had long, straight black hair that reached the small of her back, framing her face, especially her gorgeous teal eyes, beautifully.Standing at about five foot four, she wore a sparkling midnight blue dress of a modest cut that accented her figure flawlessly before cutting off at the knees. And then her wings. They were of a brilliant light blue, truly a sight to behold. She briefly looked around the establishment as she let the door close behind her before she sat down at the counter.
"Is your establishment currently serving dinner?" She asked. Her voice was different for sure, full of confidence and full of power. It was less of a question as a demand. Most of the attention she had gathered disappeared with that statement. Most became too afraid to try, such is the power of a confident woman on a broken man. You, however, were not a broken man. You may be average, but you have your life under control. True, you wish you had a better job, but this is what you have, and you made the best of it.
"We serve everything on the menu all day, and we also have the daily specials." She looked at you, her eyes reflecting her confidence.
"We will have the 'Hole in One' with a Lunar Entree, and a Portia Menagerie." You genuinely looked surprised at this order. The 'Hole in One' was a basket centered around an entree, but with double the amount of food to make in an actual meal. The Portia Menagerie was a special drink mix made by the owner's wife. It was a cocktail of several drinks mixed together and poured without ice through a coffee filter into a wine glass. However, the drink was rarely ordered and the Lunar Entree was a special only offered on days you were the cook. So you never really got to make either one. It was also odd how she used the word 'we' in place of I, but that can wait, she ordered some food, and you need to make it.
"Coming right up." As you say this you turn around and start the meal. A Lunar entree is made using cheese, pre-cut into various phases of the moon, placed on top of a salad that has color dyes making it resemble the night sky with many moons. The name was made by the owner when you first brought one in as a special lunch. Since then it was also a special whenever you were on duty. As the salad was placed in a cooling unit, you went back and started mixing her drink. The stars on her had actually increased as a few other guests had decided to stop in for a quick bite to eat and a drink. They ordered nothing special, but always kept their eyes on the lady at the counter. Even when they received their meal and drink they went to a very nearby booth and started talking about turns at trying, going so far as to even use jenkin to decide their order. It was none of your business to interfere, unless they made a customer uncomfortable they were free to stay.
Finally, the drink was mixed and she said a curt thanks as she began to drink. You returned back to the monotony of preparing the salad. It was rather expensive, but you were not someone who's cooking should be laughed at. You always took it seriously, and it was always well received. The sounds of a voice grabs your attention. The first guy to try his luck just stepped up. They probably waited till she had some drink in her system so that they could more easily bed her. The first guy got shot down quickly, she simply didn't care about someone looking for a cheap lay. As he retreated in silence a roar of laughter shook the table, knocking several of the other customers out of their thoughts and sob stories.
'Strike one.' You thought to yourself. Two more and you would ask them to leave, if they refused, you would ask them with your hands. It never got that far. The next one stepped up. A larger man then the previous one, he also had wings and definitely had confidence he didn't deserve. He walked up and tried to sweet talk her. As the salad was getting close you had to stand well within ear shot as she also shot him down. He returned to his table and this time they quietly snickered. No strike for that. Finally the salad was done. You presented it to her in the usual manner, a light spin as you set it down in front of her. As you did you noticed a third guy giving a shot at this lovely lady. She heard him before he got there, and shot him a look to scare him off. It worked as he turned on his heels and returned to his table. The lady then turned around and sighed while retrieving her fork.
"Some men, they think the world of themselves. If it were easy enough to get us, we would already be with someone. Are all thine customers like this?" She said, having found a moment to speak freely. She then began the task of eating her meal. You take a moment to think about her speech, 'She speaks in old equish, yet seems to have a grasp of the modern tongue, I wonder where she was raised?' She was tentative as she took the first bite of her salad, but after that first bite there was no time for words. It was then you realized she had asked you a question.
"Not usually, then again we also don't see too many women with your beauty or confidence come in. At least not at this early hour." You replied. She seemed to eye you for a moment and, seeing you were not hitting on her, returned to her meal. It was then that the fourth guy of that party made their move. He walked with all the confidence that he thought he deserved. He was using magic, but what it was on wasn’t obvious. You didn't want to get involved, confident that the woman could handle him just as easily as she had the others. As you moved though you always kept an eye on them, curious as to what magic it was that the new guy was using.
After a moment you realized that the woman was basically telling him to leave, but the guy wouldn't have any of it. It was then an object caught your attention. You reached out your arm and snapped at the object inches from the woman's drink. She had turned to face you upon your sudden movement, curious as to your intent. You flip and open your hand to see what the object was. It was a little pill, plenty big enough for a date rape drug.
"That is strikes two through ten. Now you have a choice, you can stay there and be arrested, or you can leave the town and never come back." The guy at first blanches, but then realizes the establishment was basically empty besides his back up.
"I ain't going nowhere without a prize old man." He then tries to punch you, but he was just a cocky kid barely old enough to get an alcoholic drink. You were a guy that did his job. You stepped around and, through a small doorway, made your way to where the kid stood.
"You don't scare me old man. What makes you think you can take me?" The cocky little kid takes out a knife as he sits back down, securing the woman in his other hand. "Of course, if you prefer I can make this woman a little paler. if you catch my drift."
'Just like a cocky kid to leave himself wide open.' You thought as you quickly restrain the hand with the knife, you then use your other hand to hit him in the jaw, instantly knocking him out. You lay him on the ground and looked over at his buddies that simply stared at you, halfway out of their seats already trying to help their friend. They stopped the moment you looked their way.
"Why don't you gentleman just take your seats again and wait for the cops patiently. Maybe they will go easy on you if you do." The look you gave them left no room for a disagreement. They looked to each other, back to you, then to the exit, then back again to you. They quickly made the decision to sit down. "Good." You said before the sound of a siren in the distance screamed out, signaling the arrival of the police.
A small time later and things were back to the way they were before. You simply stood behind the counter and the young woman, who had finished her meal, was enjoying a refill on her drink.
"So, are all your days so exciting?" she asked. She seemed slightly inebriated, but the question seemed genuinely happy.
"Thankfully no. Most of the time the worst we have are those who are too noisy, or those who are too touchy when they are drunk. That is the first attempt at some sort of rape I have ever seen here." You reply. It was true, nobody ever tried anything that drastic before. Hopefully the kids would learn the lesson. Too many don't and they pay with their future. the young woman and you talk, but soon your shift ends. Even the normal dinner shift was small. You didn't make much tip money that day. All you really got was a date.
You and the young woman didn't have much to do, so you had talked the rest of your shift away. She had many of the same interests as you. She liked classical music, but was definitely in love with some of the more recent works of many bands. To your surprise she even liked some of the more classical bands that younger girls like herself never really listened to. You would have wondered if the ID she provided was fake, but who fakes their age in reverse on a government ID? One other thing you shared an interest in, was astronomy. You both had loved to watch the night sky since you were young. At first you thought she had been pulling your tail, but after a few minutes you could tell she knew what she was talking about. Even going as far as to correct you on a few things. It was only as she departed for home that you heard her name, Diana.
Your date was in three days, at an amusement park you had both expressed curiosity towards. It was just outside of the city, at the base of the mountain. It was not a far walk from where you lived, and Diana could fly so you agreed to meet up at the park. When you arrived, the scene was filled with guards. Apparently someone big was coming to the park earlier that day and so the entire park had extra security. That didn't matter though. You were on your first date since high school. You had simply never found a woman that could keep your attention for long enough. This one though, she had occupied your mind since you met her. She was definitely beautiful. she was smart, shared similar interests, certainly, she could be fun to be with.
The day of your date you woke up and followed your morning routine for an off day. You start off by getting up and enjoying a nice warm shower. Usually you preferred a cold one, but today, today was special. After a your shower you headed into your kitchen to make breakfast. You planned to have lunch and dinner with her at your destination, or if it was terrible at lunch someplace better for dinner.
A noise behind you grabs your attention. It was Diana. She stood there in all her beauty. Today her outfit was a simple dark-blue shirt with a crescent cut in the chest to expose her cleavage. There wasn't much cleavage there, but it looked good. She also wore a pair of long pants that were simply black. She also wore custom shoes that had the qualities of dress shoes, but the durability of sneakers, she even wore her hair in a ponytail. All in all it looked marvelous. You knew she was probably out of your league, but maybe you could get there before it mattered.
Your first ride together was a simple ride. It was a carousel. Normally this would seem a little childish, but she was so enthusiastic about it you had no choice but to join her. She laughed, breaking down into her odd form of talking. It brought a smile to your face to see such joy in her. It was pure, innocent, and true. The two of you rode it twice, Diana not willing to stop after just one. You had to coax her off with the joy of other rides yet to be ridden to get her to leave. As the two of you walked you came across another ride she was interested in, spinning teacups. At first she questioned why anyone would want to sit in a teacup, that was enough to get her into one. You of course joined her, what gentleman would let his lady ride anything by herself.
After a single round on the teacups you were dizzy, and Diana was positively tipsy. You both sat down for a moment to catch your bearings, it was then that you learned one fact about her, she had a sister that had been here before. You were talking about her sister, apparently they had a fight not too long ago and they were separated for a time. they only recently got back together. It was a truly insightful tale. This woman you were with wasn't perfect, she knew it. She just tried to overcome her flaws one step at a time. This brings a smile to your face. You remember your time of weakness, when your sister had come to save you in your time of need. Then a distant stare overcomes you as you remember her disappearing act three years ago.
Eventually you realize that Diana was trying to get your attention. She was worried about your behavior, zoning out is almost never a good thing. You told her a bit about things, just as she had been vague, you too were vague. There was no need to burden each other with your problems yet. You both stood up, and after taking a moment to stretch, headed off to find new rides to enjoy. Your next ride was certainly a step up from the other rides. A simple, wooden roller coaster, but a roller coaster nonetheless. As you both go in you happened to get the fifth row from the front of the eighteen rows available. As the coaster reached the top of the first hill, the screaming started. As you both got out Diana seemed a lot less excited then you would have guessed. She then notices how well the coaster treated you as she smirked slightly and moved her head in a peculiar direction. Looking in said direction a feeling of fear took hold in your heart. The biggest coaster in Equestria, Nightmare on Nightmare Night. It was ridiculously huge, the first hill was over 300 ft. tall, it bobbed and weaved in and out of dark tunnels and at one point, disappeared into a tunnel where an illusion of Nightmare Moon brought about absolute fear. By delving through your fast moving car, you try to escape and hold on until help arrives, and this woman was basically daring you to go. You are a man though, you can't say no, right?
It was the worst three minutes and forty-two seconds of your recent life. The ride was terrifying. You thought for certain it was a car coaster, it was, in fact, a suspension coaster. You thought for sure that you were going to go flying high into the sky at several points, or be released to be dashed against the floor below. It didn't help that the ride actually let out underground. It wasn't the first drop that was the biggest, it was the last. A full 400 ft. drop straight into the bowels of the earth with a cackling Nightmare Moon laughing, before an illusion of Princess Celestia and the Elements of Harmony appears to banish the darkness and allow you to exit the ride. You needed to sit down, all the while Diana laughed herself silly. She had thoroughly enjoyed the ride, she was absolutely gleeful, especially at your reaction to the entire thing. To put it as she did, you screamed like a girl. At first this was a little annoying, but the absolute joy on her face was contagious. All too soon, you were heading out of the park to get some real food. They had plenty of food in the park, but you both decided you had enough of the scene, preferring the feel of a small cafe to the bustling amusement park.
Diana had the perfect place in mind and, since there was still plenty of time, had suggested we take the scenic route. We did stop at a few clothing stores, but we also stopped at a few video game stores. You had never played a video game before, you never had the interest, time, or money at the same time to ever try them. You always ended up doing something else. Diana however, seemed to take great interest in the games they sold. The two of you actually spent an hour there. She couldn't even believe that you had never played a video game before and had you play a few they had on display. They were fun, whether that was because you were always playing with Diana or if the games were genuinely fun you can't say. After Diana purchased a few games the two of you continued on to the little cafe Diana recommended.
As the sun started to reach the horizon, the two of you reached the little cafe. It was a beautiful little place. It had the air of sophistication, but also the relaxed atmosphere of a casual cafe. It was perhaps one of the most relaxing cafes around. Diana thought so as well, it was why she had recommended it. The two of you ordered something light, a salad to split and for Diana a Lobster dinner, for yourself you went a lot simpler, a simple fish dinner. You were surprised that the little cafe had the option of lobster and crab, especially since half of their menu was centered around different stylings of burgers. Diana was also surprised the first time she was here, a friend had invited her saying it was 'simply divine'. When the bill arrived you asked for the whole bill, wanting to wrap things up for this wonderful woman. When the check arrived she snapped the bill out of your hand and payed in full.
You tried to argue with her, saying that you should pay the bill, but she won when she pushed one finger against your lips with a soft smile. She chuckled a little and said, "Maybe on our next date you can pay, but today, I will pay." She used the word, 'I'. It was actually shocking. All day she had used the plural word and for some reason, this seemed more personal. Like this was less a step forward and more a jump, at least it felt that way. The two of you agreed to meet up again. This was the start of something big.
Over the next few weeks you had gone on seven more dates with Diana. They were blissful. Even your performance at work improved with your mood. The two of you would talk about a lot of things. She even brought over one of her video gaming systems to play with you. You couldn't afford internet so there was no online play, but the two of you had fun all the same. Time seemed to flow at a rate that even you couldn't comprehend. Everything just seemed so magical. The next date was after you finished work today. It was to be the third month since the two of you started dating. Now the dating part may have slowed down, but the two of you spent a lot of time together. There were days where she simply could not make it of course. Then again, most of your dates since the one at the amusement park had been at night. Under Luna's wonderful night sky the two of you had enjoyed so much. Today though, today she was in a sour mood. Her sister had gotten into a pranking mood and had recently crossed a line of privacy, going so far as to discover and read her diary.
Apparently her sister hadn't known the two of us were dating, she knew her sister was going out to see a new friend, but had no idea it was romantic. From the sound of things it was because of her sister's overprotective nature that the fight broke out. Diana's sister, Portia, wanted Diana to break up with you. She was worried Diana was getting in over her head, that she was setting herself up for a fall. Diana didn't want to hear it so she packed an overnight bag and came here. You gladly said she could spend as much time as she wanted here. It was your home, so it was always open to her. The two of you simply snuggled in the couch until sleep finally claimed her. It was then, as you looked into her sleeping face, full of innocence and purity, that you thought those infamous words.
'I think I have fallen in love with her.' As these words resonate within your mind, a warm calm descends upon you. A soft smile graces your lips as you hold her just a little closer. After a moment, you join her in the land of dreams. Your dream was of her and you, living a life full of happiness and joy.
In the morning, Celestia's sun woke you up with it's full force, Diana was missing, but the sound of running water made it clear, she was in your shower. You also needed to get ready for work, but that was in three or so hours. Plenty of time to get ready. You decide to make a full breakfast, eggs, toast, bacon and hash browns for two. Not the most extravagant breakfast, but a nice one to say the least. As you finished cooking the food you heard the sound of water cease from the bathroom. The sound of a door opening and closing soon followed. You turned around to say good morning, but before a word exited your mouth you were stunned silent. She had left the bathroom without even a towel to cover herself.
It felt like an eternity as you felt your eyes widen. You quickly turned around, averting your gaze while blushing profusely. After a moment you heard the door opening, then footsteps, a gasp, and then the door closing. After a moment you heard a door open and close again. A few footsteps later and Diana spoke again.
"Sorry, I am not used to having to be dressed when leaving a bathroom. Normally only my sister is around so, I don't really have to worry. I apologize for that." She said. You turned around and saw that she had placed an outfit from her overnight bag on. It was the same dress you had originally seen her in. It looked even better with her hair still dripping wet.
"Don't worry about it. We all make our mistakes, who would I be to judge you for such a small thing."
"What would it take for me needing to apologize then, try and bring an eternal night?" She said that with a smirk on her face, but her eyes were cold, as if something were seriously wrong.
"Well yes, that would require an apology for sure if you tried to actually make it happen and got close. Then again the only one to do that was Nightmare Moon, and she is long gone." For a moment there was silence, certainly she had an odd question, so you gave an odd response, what was going to happen now?
"But is Princess Luna not Nightmare Moon?" She asked, her body, facial, and vocal nuances all pointing towards being puzzled. It was definitely odd to see this.
"As someone with some psychology training, I can assure you no." She only seemed more puzzled by this.
"How so?" She asked, curiosity brimming throughout her. She decides to elaborate. "It involves my job, I work with the night court so I work with Princess Luna occasionally. How can you think such a woman free from any blame?" This would seem a difficult problem, but you had long thought your way through this one. It was part of your thesis for that psychology degree.
"Simple, Princess Luna and Nightmare Moon are different individuals." She seemed stunned and puzzled by this, so you continued. "Princess Luna 1,000 years ago was under heavy stress with no sense of reward and no outlet for real release of this stress. This stress caused feelings of jealousy and anger to become more prevalent. Add to this the fact that Princess Celestia did not truly console Princess Luna and deal with the issue when it was small and you have the perfect recipe for a mental breakdown. During this mental breakdown I personally believe that an alternate personality manifested, calling itself Nightmare Moon, and used these cracks to dominate the personality of Princess Luna. This lead to what occurred 1,000 years ago. Although Princess Luna would be there physically, she would have had little to no control until the Elements of Harmony restored the harmony in her mind, thus freeing her from the grip of the altered personality. She has since done everything in her power to make things right. In my opinion, she was more a victim then a villain, and they certainly were not the same being. I don't see Princess Luna going around trying to create an eternal night and overthrowing her sister now do you?"
My little rant seems to have struck a cord in Diana. She seems to go into deep thought before shaking her head. "Well, that certainly gives me something to think about, but first, perhaps we should eat before I have to go to work. I think we would both prefer a warm breakfast to a cold one." She lets out a genuine smile, one deep with emotion. You truly understood it then, you were in love with Diana.
After breakfast Diana headed out to her job in the castle. You still could not believe it, you were in love. The rest of the day was a blur, it was only when Diana returned that night that things seemed to come back into focus. She had a smile on her face as she walked in. Not a little 'happy to see you' smile, but a large smile that dominated her face. She was absolutely ecstatic. She had talked with her sister after work and had managed to get her to lighten up on things. Things seemed to be looking up. You decided to get creative for dinner to celebrate. You decided to take out some steaks you had recently gotten and cooked them up to a perfect medium. These were not your cheap small steaks either, these were twenty oz. prime cut steaks. They were delicious. After dinner the two of you cuddled on the couch. It was magical, to wrap her body in your arms, while she wrapped you in her wings. It was bliss.
After an hour of cuddling Diana started to fall asleep. She opted this time to go to sleep in your guest room instead of in your arms. This saddened you a bit, you liked having fallen asleep in her embrace the day prior, and tomorrow she was going back home, but you settled for a good night kiss, your first lip to lip kiss with her. It was a blissful moment and it kept you locked in your seat on the couch until a series of knocks broke your dreamy haze. It was about eleven at night, surely this could wait. Another series of knocks tossed that out the window. You get up from your seat and move to the door. The sight on the other side stuns you.
A beautiful woman stands there in the company of a single man. She has long blonde hair that reaches down to the small of her back, Her eyes a pink color. She was also fairly tall, standing slightly taller then you. She wore a long white dress that went down to her ankles. On her feet were high heels. Her bust was definitely large, and the dress was low cut enough to show off the basics of their shape. What really caught the eye were her magnificent wings of white. The man to accompany her was definitely the epitome of looks compared to yourself. He was tall, about 6'4" and well muscled. He wore a dark blue shirt and slightly worn blue jeans. His eyes were a sharp blue, his hair was also blue, but was a slightly darker color. He struck me as familiar, but you could not place him. The woman on the other hand, you could take a stab in the dark at.
"I'll assume from the time at night and the striking similarities that my guest is the reason you are here?"
"Yes, I am Portia, Diana's older sister. May I come in and speak with you for a moment?" She looked at me, it was very similar to Diana from the day the two of us met. Though she asked a question, it was undoubtedly a command. You backed away from the door and waved them in. The man stayed outside, stating he was only here to make sure his friend arrived safely. You told Portia she was free to sit where she wanted, she took up the offer in one of your chairs. You took up the couch, sitting opposite her.
"I can assume you heard of the argument I had with my dear sister." Her attitude while saying this was somber, you could tell how much she hated fighting with her sister.
"Yes, she also told me the two of you made up today."
"I see, well then, let me ask you a question. What do you see when you look at Diana, and do please take your time with this." This question was not entirely unexpected, you had figured the moment she appeared that this would be a question she would ask. You take your time to formulate how best to answer the question, honestly of course, but you needed to be sure no misunderstanding could be had. A misunderstanding now could cause a rift in their family again, and you didn't want to hurt Diana. You decided to be blunt, the sooner you say it, the sooner you can tell her.
"I see the woman I have fallen in love with." Portia's eyes widened at this, you had started smiling. "I love her more assuredly then a child their mother. I knew she was someone special the moment I met her, now I believe that she is the one I have been waiting for since the day I was born. She is smart, quick witted, knowledgeable and funny. She is an absolute pleasure to be around. I feel, happy, just to know I can see her again soon." Tears stream down your face, joy flowing through you as the dam you hadn't known was there breaks open. Time seems to stand still a moment as Portia merely watches a moment. As you recover, you see the look on her face. It was far from impartial, it was, happy. Almost like a motherly smile with the warmth it held.
"I see, and how do you feel about this, dearest sister?" At this your head whips around to see Diana standing there, in the hallway, tears streaming down her face. No words are spoken as she rushes up to you, embraces you with her wings, and brings you in for a kiss. You can hear a warm chuckle from Portia at the scene, but neither you nor Diana care, this moment is just too perfect, even with an audience. The two of you break apart from your kiss as Diana pulls back. She merely stares at you for a time, then she speaks the words you could never forget.
"I love you too." The next moment, your lips were one once again. This time, your hands reached around her and pulled her into the kiss. After a moment, you parted again, but while your lips separated, your bodies did not. You pulled her into an embrace, as you fell back to the couch. Portia chuckled happily at our antics, but neither of us could truly care, the two of us were together, that is all that mattered. The night seemed perfect. Then, Portia spoke up.
"Well you two, I think I better be on home, it is getting late, and it seems I have no more business here. Please, do take care of Diana for me." Portia said while getting up from her position on the chair. She continued to smile as you showed her out the door.
"Have a safe trip home Portia." You say as she exits the door and her companion joins her.
"And you have a safe night, please, do take care of her, she can be, fragile at times." Portia said, a hint of sadness in her voice at this, but not without some hope in her expression.
"I will." Is all you said. It was all that needed to be said. As the two left you closed and locked the door. Diana was still sitting on the couch, but it seemed she had something on her mind.
"Diana?" You approach her, and she stands up.
"Don't worry, it's nothing, come, let's head off to bed. Tomorrow, I will share with you something special."
"Is it about the truth?" As these words leave your mouth, she becomes stock still, rigid. Her eyes wide open. "I know there is something big that you have been hiding. Just now I recognized the gentleman that was with 'Portia'. You work in the castle, you work with the night court, you radiate beauty so strongly. At first I thought I was crazy, but I think I am willing to sound crazy to the woman who captured my heart." She had managed to turn to you, a mix of fear and surprise in her eyes. "I will promise you this, I will do everything I can to treat you not as what you may be, but for what I believe you to be now, the woman I love, so please, tell me the truth... Luna." Her expression changes completely in a single moment.
"When did you know?" There is worry in her voice as she says this, clearly she is worried about having kept this a secret from you.
