The stories I've gotten from Music

It was the perfect night. Pinkie Pie sat in a wedding gown sitting next to an attractive stallion as her friends congratulated her on her marriage. She would often smile back at them and say thanks with a hint of nervousness. Her groom often smiled back at her and would often try to sneak a kiss in from his new wife. She resisted playfully with him whenever he did but something inside told her that this wasn't right.

Behind the closed curtains of the stage, two ponies stood ready. Quickly, they snuck on stage with the lights out on the stage to make sure nopony saw who they were. One rushed to the piano while the other stood in the middle and waited. Every kiss that the groom tried to sneak on his wifes lips made his heart burn in pain. But the slight discomfort of Pinkie made him more confident.

The piano began to play. Ponies turned their heads towards the stage in surprise at the sudden playing. The lights had turned on to reveal two ponies. The one on the piano was a Pegasus that had a light brown coat with a black mane and tail with with bottom lip pierced on his right side. The other was a unicorn with a green coat and an orange mane and tail.

Nova Burst began to sing along with Hard Chord.

"Don't give up on me."

Nova stepped off the stage while Hard Chord tuned the piano to keep playing. Nova walked to the end of the dance floor and to a very uncomfortable Pinkie. She sunk in her seat at his approach but Nova had bent down and took her hoof in  his and sang to her.

"I'd love to just to fall asleep with

Hard Chord had run over to join them.

**"(Nothing else)But you hold on me."

"It's just a train wreck burning.

"It's just a train wreck burning."

"Nothing left."

"But you hold on me."

"And I see our time is running out.

Pinkie couldn't believe it. She had no idea about how deeply in love Nova was with Pinkie. Yet even though she had just gotten married to somepony that she hadn't known for as long as him.

"Standing on your lawn,

it's been a month now since you saw me.

Ripping out my lungs to prove that I'm still breathing.

Pinkie was in tears. She wasn't one to hurt friends but now she was faced with telling Nova that he had been to late for his choice. Now she was with her husband and he needed to let her go. She stood up in her chair and sang back.

"Just let go of me.

"You're never listening.

"Speak your silent needs.

And at the break of dawn i'm coughing blood.

"Hold your grudge on me."

"Just let go and see...

The audience stared back with their jaws hanging open. Twilight was almost embarrassed at the surprise appearance of her boyfriend. He said that he wouldn't go for reasons he wouldn't say. She now knew that he wouldn't because of how hurt Nova was when he heard the news.

Some looked over while pouring drinks and spilled some from the bottle to see what was going on. Some thought it was a romantic gesture for Nova to try to win her back through song. Others wanted to see the turn out as if it was a drama play. Young fillies and colts stared confused as they had just watched as one stallion sang and another screamed at the couple. The grooms friends stared back with the look of saying that Nova's attempts were hopeless.

But Pinkie stared at her new husband and then back at Nova. She loved her husband yet nopony had ever sang to her before. Nova seemed to have been there for her whenever she felt down or was sick.

"Starring at these wall, hoping you'd take the time to call me. Counting down the clock you know that it's not easy."

"I'd love to just to fall asleep with

"Nothing else"

but your hold on me. It's just a train wreck burning.

**"Nothing else.But you hold on me.

**"Nothing left."* but your hold, loosening,*

"And I see our time is running out."

Nova could see it. Pinkie was trying to not take him. She gave him looks that said 'please go' to let him know that she had found her love. Nova ran back to the stage with Hard Chord. Hard Chord resumed his place on the piano while Nova used his magic to pull the curtains.

There, a band began to play. Several of them being a few friends while Electronic Notes was on his keyboards. Pinkie had enough. She stood up and left her husband and walked towards the stage.

"Staring at these walls hoping you'd take the time to call me.

Still you see what's gone is never sacrificed.

"Still i'm left dreaming that this time we lost rebuilds itself.

"Counting down the clock you know, you know that it's not easy.

Pinkie reached the stage and only bowed her head down at the sorrow of leaving her husband for Nova. Nova knelt down and took her hoof in his and sang one last part.

"I'd love to just to fall asleep with...

Pinkie raised her head with tearful eyes at Nova. He hopped off the stage and walked out of the room with her. The audience only stared back at shock.
