Silver Tongue rules with an iron hand. Celestia and Luna have not been seen in decades. The Elements of Harmony are considered criminals and revolutionaries by the current generation, having been taught that all their lives. A small group holds to the old traditions, preserving the magic of friendship and following a trail of letters left by Twilight Sparkle herself. When they move Wordsmith, a magistrate who speaks on behalf of Silver Tongue, to join them, they finally are able to launch themselves fully into finding all of Twilight's lost letters and bring the true rulers of Equestria, Celestia and Luna, back.
