My name is Jonathan... ‘was’ Jonathan. ARGH! I don’t know! All I was doing, was replaying some bits of campaign on Starcraft two!

Then I suddenly get transferred here as an hierarchically zerg leader! I wasn’t born, prepared or mentally sane to become a leader like *SNAP* that! I was just your regular old geek playing some video games!

And worst of all in the show My little pony! How do I know MLP? Well, let’s just say I was a closet brony and leave it at that, kay?

Anyway, I bet you're asking how I know that I was a leader. Well...! Let’s just say a cerebrate kept calling me ‘Master’ or ‘Overmind’ and the constant zerg following me. The cerebrate Lerorinesco, which I will be calling Lero, said that he was ‘my’ advisor. He also said that I had an evolution master, good thing i saw the trailer and the HoTS panel on BlizzCon.

The evolution master was named Herecto and was well trained in the art of evolution. He’s already started a few projects while I was playing SC.

Anyways, Lero said the only way I can control the ‘swarm’ was to morph into an overmind. Now let me get this straight, I can morph back to human form and overmind at will, but morphing takes time and is quite a gruesome sight. But, I found my cons and pros and got the hang of it.

Controlling the zerg swarm was like an extra appendage. It felt natural. I can have a bird’s eye view of a field that I want (like SC but without the fog of war) or I can look directly at one of my units and take control of it.

Lero kept looking at me like a mother would when she finds her kids doing something new but not appreciating it. To put it simply, he looked both annoyed and confused.

Herec wasn’t much a problem, he knew where I was and found it comical watching an overmind using his tricks on square one and getting a hang of it. To put it simply, he was happy and kept laughing his ass of when I accidently blew up banelings.

Both Lero and Herec were good lads, and were helping me out whenever I hit a dead end or was just looking for more advance or basic shtick. This was going to be a heck of a day....

Rainbow Dash was having a nap nearby the Everfree forest, but far enough so that no monsters would get to her when she was asleep, you know high and mighty and all?

Anyway, she was suddenly woken up by a louder explosion then the ones she kept hearing. She thought they were some of Pinkie’s firework going off for a new pony in town or a party. But, this explosion sounded different and off.

First she would hearing the bang then hear a small ‘Tssshhh’ afterwards. Not to mention she kept hearing them in the Everfree.

So the only sane thing should would do, was head off to Twilight to see if it was Equestria normal, Everfree normal or abnormal. But she went with the opposite.

She flew straight towards the Everfree forest in search of the banging ‘TSSSHHs’. She was expecting Pinkie or Zecora doing something new, “but Pinkie would never go inside the Everfree, even if she sang the Giggle at the Ghostly!” she thought to herself, putting a forehoof on her chin. “But, Zecora wouldn’t go deeper into the Everfree either just to test something out, she’s Zecora after all!” and sped off into the depths of the Everfree.

What she found shock her to the core of her being and ethereal being. What she found was a grotesque being made of flesh and shell. And was looking at her with it’s one giant eye. But what she also found was there was another thing that was made of flesh but was smaller, and looked like a larvae which was spewing some green liquid that resembled vomit.

She fell under blackness, and the last thing she saw was an insect being that bore fangs carrying her towards somewhere before welcoming the darkness.

I was talking to Lero about some of the more advance control before I heard something land on the ground a few feet away from me.

What I saw was Rainbow Dash, she looked shock, terrified, angry and confused. Her mouth was agape, her eyes showing her true emotions and her body shivering from a combat of fear and anger.

And then blacked out.

I would have laugh my ass off, but thought against it. She blacked out, out of fear. I took control of one of the zerglings and picked her up.

I looked around if there were roaches or infestor who could bring her to Fluttershy’s cottage or Ponyville.

I found an infestor and immediately took control of it and dashed towards the butter creamed pegasus’s cottage.

When I reached her cottage, as an infestor mind you, I was greeted with the sight of the mane 6 (minus Dash and Shy) at the front porch of the cottage.

They awaited impatiently for the buttercream pegasus to answer. Feeling the need to relieve the tension, I spit out Rainbow Dash out of my egg thingy on my back.

The girls looked behind to find Rainbow Dash shivering. Twilight ran towards her, followed by Pinkie Pie, AJ and Rarity.

Suddenly the door of the cottage opened up to reveal the shy pegasus. She looked towards the group before widening her eyes and dashing inside again.

She came back with a first aid kit and flew hastily towards the cyan pegasus for any injuries. She sighed of relief and said “It’s okay girls. She only blacked out over something, but Rainbow never blacks out over anything!” The mares nodded and looked at the forest with fear, lots of fear, I could smell and taste it!

“We should bring her to the hospital, I don’t think whatever scared Dash wants her away from the forest.” stated Twilight, receiving nods and ‘Yeses’ from her friends.

AJ volunteered to carry Rainbow, while Pinkie and Rarity flanked her with Fluttershy and Twilight at both ends.

I smiled at their formation and left. “Hopefully this will all blow over, at least nothing bad happened today!”

When the girls reached the hospital, they put Dash on emergency. Everypony in Ponyville knew that Dash was the bravest and courageous pony in town. So whatever made her blackout, out of fright scared everypony who knew of the incident.

Five hours later, and the doctors said that they can visit Dash since she’s awake. All five mares dashed towards the room 457 and slamming the door open. Receiving a groan from a cyan pony.

“Dashie are you alright!?” shouted Pinkie, receiving another groan from the tomboyish pegasus which she quietly apologized.

“It’s alright Pinks! I had a rough day...” Rainbow said jokingly, receiving little giggles from the mares. “So Rainbow, how did you blackout of fear?” asked Twilight. She knew Rainbow Dash read a few books of mythological and legendary beings ones in a while whenever a new Daring Do novel appears.

Rainbow looked at the lavender unicorn before widening her eyes in fear. She remembered the scene vividly. She then morphed her fear into confusion. The girls found it strange. “Uh, Dash what’s got you thinking?” asked the lavender pony.

“Honestly I don’t know Twi. All I was doing was napping near the Everfree forest before hearing some loud bangs coming from the forest.” the girls looked at Twilight for help, which she shrugged it off and gestured Dash to continue. “Anyway, when I heard a louder bang. I decided that I had enough and went inside the forest to investigate.” Twilight narrowed her eyes towards Dash “Why didn’t you come ask one of us for help, you know how dangerous the Everfree can get!” she scolded.

“I know, I know, but. It’s just that, I wasn’t thinking straight. I was hearing those bangs from the forest and thought it was Pinkie or Zecora doing something!” Rainbow defended.

“Okay, can you continue where you left off?” asked Twilight, un-narrowing her eyes.

“Anyway, when I left to investigate. I found the scariest thing you can ever imagine!” she lifted both her hooves to emphasize her point, receiving gasp from the group. “It was huge, ugly and fleshy! It had these giant eyeball that stared at me! There was another one too but it was smaller and looked like a larvae! I felt like I was falling apart from shivering before falling over. Last thing I remember was being picked up by something that looked like a changeling but way different!” she finished. She looked at the group of friends, they were showing looks of fear, confusion, skepticism, concern and disgust.

“Dash are you sure that’s what you saw?” asked Twilight, getting glares from three mares. She shied away for a while before saying “It’s just that what you say doesn’t exist, or shouldn’t exist! I say she ran towards the Everfree saw an Ursa major and blacked out.” she said smugly, getting a small air of relief from the three mares.

“One, I saw them in a clearing. Two, how can I mistook a giant eyeball? Three, there was a larvae clear as day beside it. Four, what could have brought me here or wherever you found me if it was an Ursa? Five, I already saw the image of an Ursa major and laughed at it! Six, what could have made those banging noises?”

The four mares stared at Rainbow, removing skepticism from Twilight and replacing it with fear. The three mares looked at Twilight for help and didn’t receive any.

“I can explain if you want” said an unfamiliar stallion voice.

Everpony turned their attention to a tall creature leaning against the wall. The figure smiled and stood there. It whistled and the creature that fit Rainbow’s description came in.

Rainbow stared at it, while the four mares slacked jawed at it. The figure’s smile grew larger and walked straight to Dash. The mares didn’t take too kindly of the act and made a defensive pose. The figure’s eyebrow grew before shrugging off and continued post haste. The small creature growled at the mares making them break their pose and huddled closely to each other. The figure arrived to his destination and whispered something to her ear.

Rainbow’s eyes widened before jumping out of the bed sheets and ran towards the bathroom. It laughed at the comical moment before glancing towards the mare’s confused look. It shrugged and headed back towards the forest.

I watched as the tall thing walked towards me and the little creature growl at my friends, I waited for it to do something but instead whispered to my ears “The zergling, that little creature, didn’t actually carry you. You were carried to your friend’s cottage inside an infestor’s pouch. And when I mean pouch I mean egg, and you were spitted out.”

My eyes widened, I placed a hoof on my mouth and ran straight towards the bathroom.

Twilight and the girls kept staring at the figuring who was suddenly heading towards the door to leave. It took a small ounce of willpower for Twilight to say something “Who are you?” she said, making the mares glare at her but it was too late. The figure stopped and look at the lavender pony “I am the overmind, I control the zerg swarm with the help of Lero and Herec. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m still trying to know how to control the swarm.” he said simply, then left the mare to think. “Overmind? What does he mean by overmind? Overmind like taking control of things? Is he evil, no he brought back Rainbow to us. ARGH! I must take a letter to the princess!”

The overmind came back but with a scowl and said “And Twilight, I highly recommend you to send a letter. Now I will take my leave, ta ta!”

It left with the creature in tow. The mares de-huddled themselves to find Rainbow, but she came back shortly after their de-huddle.

Rainbow looked... clean. The girls shrugged it off but left Twilight thinking on her own. The doctor came in and said that Rainbow can leave but “You have to steer clear of the Everfree. Whatever scared you might still be there so is suggest not going there for a few weeks for the fear to subside.” and left.

Everypony said their goodbyes and went off to their daily lives. Twilight however was not off to her daily life. She was researching and researching. But once she hit a dead end, she asked Spike to take a letter.

“ Dear Princess Celestia.

Today we found Rainbow shivering and unconscious near Fluttershy’s cottage. She recovered when we sent her to the hospital and told us how she blacked out. She told us she saw a large fleshy being and it’s giant eye stared right at her. She also said that there was a smaller one that resembles a larvae.

When she lost consciousness the last thing she saw was a creature that bore insectoid wings, a carapace, fangs and was roughly the same height and diameter as a grown mare. The creature showed itself to us with another figure named “The Overmind” he was friendly to us but I wonder his true intentions.

It whispered something to Rainbow that made her fly out of the room and come back clean when it left. It also told me to send a letter after I thought about it! I don’t know if he’s evil or a threat to Equestria! I haven’t seen the large being that Rainbow described but the creature that picked her up was here! Please send a reply, I don’t know what to do!

Spike inhaled and blew the letter in a green flame, and transformed the letter into a magical dust.

Shortly after Spike sent the letter, princess Celestia herself came inside the library with a platoon of Royal guards. “Twilight, where was the disturbance located!” she ordered, leaving the once motherly tone into that of a monarch.

“The Everfree forest princess, but I don’t know where exactly! I think asking Rainbow would be best.” Twilight said, receiving a nod from the princess and ordered the guard to secure a perimeter of the forest.

Rainbow appeared shortly after the guard started to form a perimeter, she asked the princess what was going on “The overmind is that of pure evil! It want’s nothing but to conquer and to exterminate races in a quick and gruesome way! It controls the zerg, an insectoid race that evolves in a flash. They are quick but weak. But they evolve to become stronger and stronger until the either them or the enemy is dead.” she said darkly, receiving a gasp from the lavender mare. Rainbow wasn’t impressed and said simply “If the overminds only goal is to take over the world and do total genocide, why isn’t it doing it now? I saw him and his larvae thing and they carried me over to Fluttershy’s cottage! Not to mention he showed up with one of the zerglings to prove that I wasn’t making things up!”

Celestia scowled at Rainbow, which she narrowed her eyes “The overmind is deceptive and cruel, he is using your safety as a tool. He exploits it when we're weak when we think we’re safe and sound! The zerg are mindless creature that want nothing but to serve the overmind and the swarm!”

Rainbow raised an eyebrow at Celestia and said “How do you know all this? The fact that one of them came to me, growled at Twilight and my friends when they wanted to hurt it. And carried me to Fluttershy’s cottage means they aren’t mindless creatures. And how don’t we know the zerg from any of the books or the archive! Twilight should have known what they are if the files existed! Your judging something from the cover and not the book!” then left to the Everfree forest.

The guards started to seize her, but was unsuccessful. The princess and the librarian took haste and started to follow her into the forest but was unsuccessful as well. The opening was guarded by one of the zerg but was more taller than the ones they saw. It looked serpentine, it had fangs and claws. “A hydralisk!” thought Celestia. She knew the zerg from the protoss when Equestria started showing signs of infection.

“These ones look far different when I first met them!” she started to cast a spell but was unsuccessful. She looked at her horn to find it sealed by something. It was green in colored but what struck her the most is that it also hit her guards and left them struggling.

I was having a lovely time learning from Lero and Herec! I learned how to evolve my units much quicker, and learned how to control multiple beings when I want to. I also learned how to control them at a bird’s eye view, you know having the giant eye and all.

Anyway, my fun was cut short by a cyan pegasus. She didn’t look frightened like the last time we saw but I didn’t complain. “Princess Celestia thinks you’re evil and sent out a platoon of Royal guards and herself to exterminate you!” she said, panting heavily from being chased. “Well I think she isn’t much different from the old us. She thinks we're here to exterminate her little ponies, while she want’s to exterminate the zerg fully. She isn’t much different from a tyrant, and she isn’t looking at the book but at the cover!”

“That’s what I said! I said that she was judging by the cover and not the book!”

“Okay Dash, listen closely. I’m sending out these hydralisk to guard the entrance. I’m going to send out a patrol of ultralisks, zerglings, overseers and roaches inside the forest. Can you get back to Celestia on my signal?” she looked at me then nodded while I sent my swarm to patrol the forest.

Satisfied, I signaled Dash to get back to the princess and left off my counter plan to work.

“Those are hydralisk, do not go near them! They can easily tear you apart or spit out spikes if you get near their range!”

Celestia was shouting orders and descriptions of these creature. “Rainbow was right, how does she know about these and not leave any records in the library or archives! And she said that the Overmind was one of pure evil, why didn’t it attack us when it can with these things at his disposal! And why isn’t there any trace of the overmind in Equestria?” she thought to herself before seeing a cyan pegasus coming her way.

Rainbow looked smug and happy, while Celestia scowled and glared at her. But Twilight was just happy to see her. She started to walk towards her and said “Don’t worry, I warned it and he’s prepared for an attack. He’s already sent out patrols.” Twilight sighed of relief, she glanced towards Celestia who was ordering the guards with haste. “Should we send a letter to Luna?” shortly after she said that, something came out of the ground in between Twilight and Rainbow. It had multiple eyes and looked armored completely. Twilight jumped while Rainbow just stood there like nothing happened.

The creature had something in it’s mouth and gave it to Twilight. She took it cautiously while Rainbow just waits patiently. It was a scroll and it was in good conditions considering it was in it’s mouth. She opened it and read “ You should send a letter to Luna. She is the co-ruler of Equestria, and Celestia is taking things on her own accord. This is a violation of both parties considering Equestria is a diarch country. “ Twilight gave it to Rainbow, she denied politely “Shouldn’t we go see Spike for the letter?” she asked, Twilight nodded and headed off to the library.

The roach left shortly after their departure and went off to the Everfree to resume it’s patrol.

When they reached the library they were greeted with the sight of the four remaining mares. They were sitting casually but bore worried expressions. When they heard the door opening they smiled when they saw Twilight and Rainbow. “Spike take a letter to princess Luna SAP!” he saluted and went off to grab his quill and parchment.

The mares looked at Twilight and Rainbow with a more worried expressions. “Twi, was going on at the forest? Ah would like ta know what the fuse is about!” Twilight ignored the cowmare which left Rainbow to answer. “Princess Celestia is judging the overmind because she thinks he’s the old one that wanted to rule the galaxy or some shtick.” Applejack didn’t take kindly to that and said “What do ya mean rule the galaxy?” Rainbow scowled at Applejack making the already uncomfortable air hostile. “He stopped his lesson on learning how to use his powers properly, he sent out a patrol inside the forest to protect himself. He asked Twi to send a letter to Princess Luna because all of what Celestia is doing is wrong! She and Luna are the co-rulers of Equestria, and Celestia went off on her own!”

The mares didn’t take kindly to the information they were digesting. They heard something outside that sounded like a small earthquake. Rainbow and Twilight knew the sound and raised their eyebrow. The mares however don’t know the sound and huddled closely to each other. “Okay Twilight I got the quill and paper ready!” the lavender pony smiled and gestured Rainbow to open the door for their ‘guest’.

“Dear Princess Luna

I am writing to you, because princess Celestia hasn’t informed you about the disturbance in the Everfree forest. I think as both of you are co-rulers you should take what you think is a major threat together and not alone. Princess Celestia has taking in on her own accord to eliminate somepony who saved Rainbow and hadn’t done anything that would make it a threat.

Princess Celestia says that it is something called the ‘Overmind’ and that it’s sole goal is to eliminate any races and to conquer all. What I see, is that Princess Celestia isn’t judging by the book but by the cover. The overmind hasn’t done anything to harm or any signs that it is a threat. Rainbow says that the overmind that Celestia is trying to eliminate is a new overmind trying to test his new found powers.

Rainbow said that princess Celestia interrupted his lesson on how to control his swarm and had to take measures to protect himself. The overmind has also asked if I could send a letter to you, which I gladly took. Please reply, or come to the Everfree and stop princess Celestia. I don’t want to lose a friend, or a new race at that. I want to study the zerg and see if they are what Celestia think they are. A mindless race that want nothing but to serve the overmind and the swarm.

Spike blew the parchment, transforming it into the all familiar dust. They waited patiently before princess Luna and her platoon of Lunar guard appeared outside of the library. She smiled at the sight of Twilight and gestured them to follow her.

“Princess do you know what the zerg is? There aren’t any records or traces of them ever being here, and I would like to know where I can find anything that might or might not be recorded.”

The princess frowned and said “I’m afraid I do not know what these ‘zerg’ are. But Celestia acting on her own accord isn’t to be left unpunished. She should have ask me for my approval as we are both co-rulers like you said in your letter.”

Twilight smiled “I see that you're taking a great pace of changing from the old Canterlot!”

The princess smile returned and went off towards the Everfree forest.

When princess Luna saw the hydralisk guarding the entrance, she started to question whether or not Celestia might be right. But when the hydralisk caught the sight of Luna they bowed and left casually.

Luna was staring at them slack jawed. “They bowed to me, and left on their own!” she thought. Twilight took her out of her trance and pointed towards Celestia.

“Celestia what are you doing on your own accord!” shouted Luna. Celestia looked behind her to find the scowl of Luna and her student next to her. “I am doing Equestria a favor by taking away the overmind and the zerg once and for all!” she stated darkly.

“The hydralisk left the opening full on charge!” ordered Celestia, but they didn’t budge. She stared at them before realizing they were staring at something out of fear. She turned her head towards where they were staring to find a platoon of brood lords above Luna and her platoon.

Luna looked above her to find the platoon stationed there and looking towards Celestia’s Solar platoon ready to fire. Luna awaited for her sister to surrender and stop. But a roach unburrowed in front of Twilight and gave another scroll to her.

Both princesses look at Twilight who took the scroll, read it and giving it back casually. “The overmind says you have control over the brood lords for a while.” and retook her position. The roach burrowed and went off to patrol inside the forest again.

Princess Celestia looked furious while Luna had a smug look. “Celestia stand down, the overmind sent Twilight the letter to inform me that I had control over these brood lords for a short while. Now if things get heinous I would have no choice but to let them attack you, because your arrogance and ignorance of knowing the full picture!”

Celestia had no choice, her platoon would fall under both brood lord and lunar platoons. But more importantly, Twilight, Luna and Rainbow had sided with the zerg swarm.

“No, you, Twilight and Rainbow were corrupted by the overmi...”

“Celestia I can’t be corrupted because you saw me coming here on my own, and you were keeping guard of Twilight so she can’t be a candidate. Rainbow, I didn’t see anything out of the norm since she is the bearer of Loyalty.”

Celestia wanted to retort but couldn't because of the sudden appearance of the overmind on the meadow.

What Rainbow described of the overmind was correct in every way. Large fleshy and had a giant eyeball and the larvae was beside it like she said. “Bravo Luna Bravo! I say you would make a better monarch than Celestia considering she had to live with the guilt of sending you to the moon and the constant political jazz. She is currently unstable in my eyes, I say give her a break and take responsibility as the co-ruler and go to her when needed or if you seek advice.”

The overmind had a sincere look in his eyes. Luna smiled while Celestia was preparing a spell to eliminate it. “Celestia might I remind you that if you kill me right on the spot the zerg swarm will have to go on a rampage, not to mention what you will do will cause more damage than good. Stand down or I will make you stand down!”

But Celestia ignored it completely and charged her spell. The overmind shrugged it off and unburrowed a spine crawler and incapacitated Celestia and blocking off her magic. The ponies gathered around saw their mighty ruler taken down by a mere tentacle.

“Now, Luna if you be as to kindly escort our guest to her quarters. I still have much to learn and I have to ask if i could have permission to construct my hive inside the Everfree forest?”

She thought for a while before nodding in agreement. “You can construct your hive in the Everfree. Though it isn’t part of Equestria you can fully take control of the forest if you’d like.”

“You're too kind! Hey, about I let you gals take a look at the swarm. I can let Twilight talk with Lero. Rainbow with Herec and you can talk to me whenever you want princess!”

She smiled, Twilight beamed and Rainbow hoof pumped the air. “Whelp, you two can come with me. I got a nydus worm ready for you. Luna I hope you can escort our guest as is or do you want your Lunar guard to escort her?”

“No, I think we need her subdued as is. Can you let me control it so that we can easily transport her?”

“Of course! I will have to retake control of my brood lords. But I will let you control a few mutalisk and corruptors to use as escorts. And they can patrol the perimeter of your sister’s tower.”

She ‘ooh’d’ in awe. “Well that is quite useful. I hope I can convince my sister to form an alliance with your swarm.” she smiled genuinely, which the overmind returned happily. “Yes, princess let’s! Oh and can you inform Equestria of our presence. I know some may not take this lightly because of the changeling invasion and how we look. Now off ya go! Oh and have a few overseers and overlords to transport your platoon. Their like chariots but more efficient, and they can breath in space!”

“Of course, and I really think my sister misunderstood you. Youre so friendly and welcoming, you trust us to even have a few of your kind to lend even for a while. And one more question.”

“Yes?”

“Are your swarm just mindless to serve you and the swarm?” she asked, making me think for a while.

“Honestly, I don’t know. Ask Lero here, I just got my powers three days ago. But my honest opinion, I can create my swarm to have mind of their own but still obey me, so no their not mindless and the ones I have now aren’t completely mindless. They serve yes, but they also care. When they saw Rainbow black out they started to ask permission to help her, which I gladly gave.”

She sighed, and gave a satisfied look. She thanked them and left with the mutalisk, corrupter, overseer and overlord escorting them. The overmind smiled inside, then looked at the two mares who were still here beaming with excitement. “Now girls. Lero is a cerebrate, one of the commander the previous overmind created. Herec is the evolution master, he specializes in evolving the swarm like no other. Now off you go to the nydus canal you go!”

The overmind and Lero burrowed off towards the forest while the girls cautiously moved towards the mouth of the nydus worm.

When they got to the clearing. Lero was waiting for them patiently and started to inform us about the swarm and how it works. Twilight was a little depressed that she didn’t bring something to take notes, but beggars can’t be choosers.

I was learning from Herec while Lero informs Twilight and Rainbow about the swarm. Since Luna gave me the O.K and the right of the forest, I can finally start the hive.

I had some zerglings scout for any minerals and found a bunch in the mountain and the general area. I built hives where there were a large sum of minerals and continued to build more structures. I had some overseers to find some vespene gas while I was building.

My swarm was growing by the minute. For the vespene, they were scattered everywhere. I had to use nydus worms to make mining more efficient. I’ve already evolved my main hive to a lair and was gaining more larva thanks to the queens i had stationed nearby.

Rainbow and Twilight were still talking with Lero but I didn't mind. I asked Herec if he can create some units from scratch and was rewarded with a simple ‘yes’. Creating a unit from scratch is fairly easy for us zergs, because we either improve upon already existing units or we improve on non-zerg units which helps us completely.

But creating one from square one is a little difficult, but possible nonetheless.

When Twilight and Rainbow were done ‘chatting’ with Lero. They started to talk with Herec. He didn’t mind much but excused himself because of some ‘certain’ project. They didn’t mind, and decided to talk to me instead.

“Hey, do you have a name instead of just ‘overmind’? Because, I would rather say my friends name instead of just the title.” Rainbow asked, I beamed at her before my eyes changed to look at the ground.

“I don’t really have a name right now...” I said sadly, Rainbow frowned but beamed enthusiastically and said “How about me,the girls and princess Luna give you a named? Better off with a name than just ‘overmind’ “.

I beamed at the idea of the mane six and princess Luna giving me a name. “Deal!”

She smiled and went off towards Ponyville. Twilight was staying though observing the swarms work, structure and unit. I morphed back into a human and walked towards her.

She looked behind to find me and smiled, then gestured to sit next to her. “So Twilight, how’s the hive doing so far?” I asked, getting a smile from her. “Well, I can honestly say that this is better than any ant colony I know of.” she said jokingly, I smiled at her enthusiasm to learn.

“Well, Twi got any questions for me?” she smiled and nodded vigorously. “Okay, okay. Slow down cowgirl, what did you want to ask me first?”

“Well I just wanted to know about you and about all this. I heard Lero talking about the swarm’s history but I like to know more than just history.”

I nodded and started to tell my tale. She was shocked at first but understood on how I know how to operate the hive without me interfering. I then told her about the zerg’s structure in general, whcih she appreciated.

After a long course of questions I was left with a large, and large, sum of minerals and vespene. “Tomorrow is going to be a great day!” I thought enthusiastically.

Tomorrow we get to see more....

I was playing a silver match on Starcraft and was winning rapidly. I was playing as protoss while my opponent was a terran. He was struggling to say the least but was keeping up fairly quickly.

When we reached the mid game time, I sent all my combat unit to his bases one by one. He didn’t have any defense but a bunker and a few missile turrets. I won the game as per usual.

I typed ‘GG’ which he returned kindly. I turned off my game and headed for bed, but... I suddenly felt darkness consuming me and blacked out.

I wake up on board something. I recognized the color of yellow on the walls and ceiling and I was laying on something comfortable. I got up and felt that my whole body had changed. I found a mirror on the far side of the room and decided to see if my theory was correct.

When I got off of bed, I instantly felt my legs changing. I felt higher, stronger and more intelligent. But i couldn’t feel my mouth. I could breath, but I didn’t have a mouth. I walked hastily towards the mirror to find that I changed into a protoss.

I had clothing that resembles that of an executor. It was yellow like any other protoss uniform but looked a little egyptian.

The door opened with a small “Tssh” and came in a praetor. He looked at me before nodding and headed back outside.

I sighed and looked around my room. It was fairly large. The cabinet was beside the door, the bathroom was on the left side of the bed with a nightstand on the right. There was a desk, which was fully stocked and a few decors on the walls.

I then decided to head outside.

The praetor was waiting for me, he looked at me before gesturing me to follow him. “En taro Tassadar executor, I hope that you were briefed about the new infestation of the zerg.”

“I’m afraid that I wasn’t informed. We have the time praetor, what’s the situation?”

He nodded and resumed walking “The zerg has infested on Equis a land of multi-colored equine, griffons, canine and large reptile. Our sensors indicate a new Overmind.” he said darkly.

“The overmind is creating his hive in secret. He is forming his swarm inside a well sheltered forest and hasn’t made contact with the locals yet.”

I raised an eyebrow and said “May we send some observers in Equis, praetor. I believe I have a small suspicions that I have seen this planet.”

He nodded “Already done executor. The deck is near may we proceed?”

I nodded and entered the door.

I found the deck surprising and awe inspiring. It was beautiful. A large glass window showed the planet completely. The deck was busy with cybernetics and drones flowing. I smiled and headed off to the main dashboard.

“Praetor, I would like to see what the observer sees.”

He nodded and pressed a few switches and a screen came in to view.

I stared slack jawed at the sight. “It looks exactly like My little pony. Why would the overmind infest.....” I then suddenly realized something... “The overmind is a brony... like me...” I then proceeded to facepalm, receiving a confused look from the praetor.

“Praetor.... send down a warp prism. I believe my theory is correct, and a new one has resurfaced. I would like to have escorts and scan the area for any large amount of mineral and vespene.”

He looked at me, then proceeded to order the crew. “Today is going to be a heck of a day...”

When my escort and the warp prism were on standby, I was teleported from my carrier to the opening of the Everfree forest. I glanced around to find any trace of the zerg, I decided that I want to see the mane six before going inside.

“I want a perimeter check everyone, I’m heading out to see if the locals have seen anything suspicious.” They all nodded and went off to secure the area.

Ponyville looked exactly like the show, but bigger. I found the library easily, the boutique, bakery and the farm. “Twilight would have notes of suspicious activity. I should go there first.” I then headed off towards the library.

Everypony was staring at me to say the least. I was dressed in armor, I was tall and I had no mouth. To say the least they were frightened, confused and curious.

When I reached the library I was greeted with a safe haven from all the stares. Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie and Rainbow were gathered around the libraries table where the horse statue was usually laid.

Rainbow was the first to greet me, scowling at me. Applejack just looked frightened with Fluttershy. Rarity was beaming with excitement, over my attire.... while Pinkie was being Pinkie.

“Where is the lavender mare named Twilight Sparkle?” I asked politely. Everypony stared at me, I guess me speaking without a mouth isn’t an everyday occurrence but what can you do? Rainbow was the first to recover and started to scowl harder at me “What do you want with Twilight, huh?” I stared at her and took a step inside “I want to know if there were any strange activity, something involving an insectoid race or something called the overmind.”

She stared at me before glaring daggers at me “So you're the protoss Lero was talking about! I won’t tell you where Twilight or the overmind, I won’t let you take him away!”

I grabbed my side and started to laugh on the floor. Rainbow started to get very agitated and hesitated to lunge at me. The mares looked confused to some extent. “You thought I was going to take him away?! God I would never thought of that even if it was my mother!”

“Wait, so you’re not planning on take him away?” Rainbow asked hesitantly.

I smiled at her genuinely and said “Of course, I would never think of it. I just want to meet him!”

She smiled, I felt my protoss heart melting “Uhhh.... okay. Follow me I hope he won’t freak out because of you.”

“I wouldn’t want that scene to happen either.”

When we reached the opening, I asked my zealots for any disturbance. “We hear a few banging noises but nothing serious.”

“Good, I want to beat his mineral and vespene depot before he takes it all.”

Rainbow started to scowl at me “What do you mean ‘beat his mineral and vespene depot’! I thought you wanted to meet him not to start a fight!”

I laughed at her, which made her scowl even more. “Rainbow, when I mean ‘beat’, I want to surpass him in a friendly game of ‘who gets the more resources’ and ‘who gets the last resources’.”

She raised an eyebrow before facehoofing. “I won’t understand a single thing you guys play.”

“So where is your colt friend at?” I teased her, she blushed intensely “N-n-no! He isn’t my colt friend I SWEAR! We just met!” I started to tease her further “Ever heard of love at first sight?”. My zealot started to join in the laughter, but discretely. She realized that I was teasing her and started to pout. “HHHHHHHHHHHNNNNNNGGGG!” Me and my zealots started to resist the urge to hug her adorableness.

She stared at us confusingly before showing us the path to the overmind.

I stared slack jaw at the biggest hive cluster you will ever see. There was hives nearly everywhere, structures, units everywhere!

“Yo zelly what brings you in my humble abode yo!”

I looked at the source of the voice to find the overmind with it’s large eyeball. It was on a good hill to watch the hive and control it with ease. “Do you like bananas?” I asked casually. He raised a metaphorical eyebrow before saying “Do you know where I could find them?”

“ON THE MOOOOOOOOON!!” we said at the same time, laughing.

“So what’s your protoss name, I don’t have one except ‘Overmind’.”

“Looks like we have the same problem, I don’t have one except ‘Executor’.”

“Shame...” He looked deep in thought before shooting out. “Thats it!” he shouted. “What is?!”

“Princess Luna and the mane six can give you a name like me!” he started to morph into something.

“Uuuhh... sure, but... What are you doing?”

He ignored me and started to bounce happily. I chuckled and went off to calm the boy. “Oi, we’re still in the hive. My zealots are laughing their behinds off and I can see your evolution master and cerebrate laughing too.”

He glanced around to find that his comrades were indeed laughing at him. Blushed and smiled sheepishly, and stopped bouncing around. “Good, now how about we head to Canterlot. Oh and where can I find a suitable place to start off a base?”

“Well theres a large mineral field up north near Trottingham and a large reservoir of vespene towards the badlands.”

“Thanks. Well i’m off to tell my praetor of my suspicions. Oh and how did you get here? I hope it’s the same as mine.” I asked suddenly. “Well how did you get here, I got here when I was replaying some campaign on SC II.” he answered “Mine was more or less the same. I was playing SC II on a silver match and won, went to bed then fell unconscious.”

“Allies?”

“Allies.”

We shook hands and nodded. I left off towards my warp prism and left with my zealots in tow. Tomorrow is going to be a heck of a day.
