The Greatest Christmas Ever

The Valentine Day explosion. It's have been two years and ten months, but I'm not counting. My coltfriend, Ezio, joined the military so he can protect the innocent. He was stationed at Base 53 , or as most people call it, VDE ground zero. I'm not sure if Ezio dead or not. The government won't let out the names of the dead solders but they said one survived. Unlike everypony else, I have not lost hope that my coltfriend is dead. They all tell me to move on and meet new stallions,but not until I know what happened to him. "Ugh.." I sit here and watch a rerun of Saturday Night Live as they make a joke about V.D.E.

"Sorry Dashie." Pinkie Pie said as she almost tripped over her as she watched the television.

"Sorry Pinkie I'm still sad over Ezio." I said as I helped Pinkie set up the decorations for her Christmas party.

"Dashie. I think it's time to let go. There were over five thousand soldiers at Base, even I wouldn't bet Ezio's alive." Pinkie said as her hair fell down as the T.V. started flashing.

"Two years and ten months since the most horrific attack on the military ever and finally light has shined in this dark tunnel Dianne." I stopped what I was doing and dashed to the T.V.

"Today the Kazzopaloss Hospital announced that the survivor of the Valentine Day explosion as came out of his coma this morning and was on the first plane he could get after finishing his mental exam and physic exam, but still the government still won't announce who the survivor is or--" I turned the T.V. off knowing that somehow Ezio was on that ploane.

"Dashie. I know what you're thinking, but please give up. You're torturing yourself on Ezio being alive. Now can you please help blow up the balloons?" Pinkie said as I made my was over to a small crate of balloons that said 'Merry Christmas' in white ink.

"Please get here fast Ezio." I said under my breath and I inhaled a deep breathe of air then blower into the nozzle of the balloon and watched it grow larger and larger.
