Twilight sparkle was just looking at some of the stain glass windows, like she normally did during her time in Canterlot. When she noticed a strange one. This one was blank but it appeared different than the others, as if someone was running out of time when putting it up. Another thing she noticed is that there was a stray piece of glass that did not belong. She looked around to see if anyone was watching her, then her horn began to glow in an purple light as she removed the stray piece. As she observed it, she realized how aged it is. Even older than the window of Celestia defeating Discord! After trying to find the proper window for the piece and had no luck, she decided to use a spell to send it to its rightful glass window. It flew away and hit a wall. She used a revealing spell on the wall and a large door appeared. As soon as she opened the door, the stray piece flew to an object hidden under a tarp. Again, Twilight used her magic to open the tarp. But what she saw was something she did not expect. Under the tarp was a removed stain glass windows with a green pony using seven elements of harmony to turn Discord to stone. " but I thought there were only si-" "THERE ARE" Twilight's voice was interrupted by none other than the mighty Princess Celestia who was standing at the doorway. "We'll, at least now there are". "Princess why are these windows down here and why are there seven elements?" Twilight asked. "Twilight,my faithful student, the answer to that question is not one I wish to tell, or would tell anyone but you. But since you are my student, you deserve to know." Celestia began to tell the story of the Element of Courage.
Long, Long ago........
A small village known as Kokiri village rests in the heart of the Everfree Forest, inside this forest dwells a strange breed of pony. They are known as the Kokiri, they are all very magical ponies, all gifted with forever youth and immortality. The Kokiri village also homes the Parasprites, only the ponies who live in this forest have the magical ability to communicate with the Parasprites. The Kokiri are provided their magic by the great Deku tree. The great Deku tree is a spirit created by the king and queen of Equestria to maintain peace and order within the Everfree forest. Inside the village, each villager is 10 years old, as they never grow past the young age. Each pony in the village has a Parasprite companion to help guide them through their lives, except for one pony, a young colt, he is the only Kokiri in the village without a cutie mark or Parasprite. But as the young colt is constantly teased, he does not know that a great adventure awaits him.

"Navi........... Navi, come to me......." Said the Deku tree in an obviously very sick state. "You called" said Navi, named for her wonderful navigation skills. "The boy, without a sprite........ It is time he begins on his journey....... Please, bring him to me" whispered the dying tree.
"I'll be back with him soon! Don't worry!" Yelled the Blue Parasprite as she flew to the village.

"Noooooo, I'm tired........"
"WAKE UP YOU LAZY HOARSE! THE DEKU TREE WANTS YOU!!!!" Yelled Navi
"WHAA!" Yelled link, scared as he was awaken so suddenly.
"Uuuuuuugghhhhh..... What? Who? Whe- OH MY GOSH A PARASPRITE!"
"Yes, I am a Parasprite, now get off your butt, and go to the Deku tree!

As Link and Navi left the small home they were greeted by the very busy village.
"HEY, LINK OVER HERE" Yelled a voice new the home. As link looked around, he found the source of the voice of Saria, Links best friend, a light green filly with dark green hair and an Orcarina as a cutie mark.
"Oh, hey Saria" replyd link. "Wow, you've got your own para-" Saria said until she was cut off
"SHUT UP, LINK WE NEED TO GET TO THE GREAT DEKU TREE NOW" yelled Navi angrily
"Ok....... Bye Saria" said Link as they left.

As they approached the tunnel leading to the Deku Tree, Link was stopped by a light brown colt with red hair named Mido. "Where are you going loser?" Said Mino as Link tried to pass. "The great Deku tree" replied link
"Well, your not going until you have a sword and a shield" stated Mido.
"So, I can buy a shield at the shop, and get the Kokiri sword from a cave" Link said to Navi. "Ok, how much is a shield?" Asked Navi
"Forty bits"
"How much do we have?"
"Two"

2 hours later......
"Ok, I brought him great Deku tree" Navi said to the Deku tree. "Link..... You must save Equestria..... I've been cursed..... By a horrid monster named Discord....... I am dieing.... And as soon as I die, peace in the Everfree forest will turn to chaos, you must come inside me, and slay the demon eating me alive...." Said the Deku tree. " I'm on it!" Yelled Link as he ran inside the tree.
