The Chronicles of Princess Molestia
Chapter 6: Dark Side of the Moon (Part 2)
Previous ChapterNext ChapterThe sun crept towards the edge of the sky as far as it would, and finally came to a halt. The large orb of light had reached the end of its course, and the end of another day in Equestria; it needed to be taken down to allow the moon to rise in its place. Though Princess Celestia could have easily lowered the sun from her own balcony, she took flight to the tower below her, where she saw her sister looking up towards the sun. Only when Celestia's hooves touched the ground did Princess Luna take notice. Her body jolted at the sound of an unknown visitor behind her. Once she realized it was her sister, her face rid itself of the apprehension it held.
Hello, Celestia.” The younger alicorn said to her flatly. “Does thou plan on lowering thine sun any time soon? Despite that most ponies shun our night, it is our duty to usher it in on time.”
The sun princess’s ears sank. The fact that Luna had abandoned using her pet name for her older sister filled her with sorrow; not to mention the fact that she was using the “royal we” that she had been trying to cast aside as of late. “I’m sorry I’m late.” Celestia replied. “The meeting with the town representatives ran a bit longer than I thought.” She closed her eyes and raised her head as her large horn emitted a powerful glow. The sun began to drop out of the sky, covering the city of Canterlot, as well as all of Equestria in darkness.
Just as her sister had begun her magic, Luna’s own horn began to shine. However, she slowly took flight and crossed her hooves in front of her. Her flowing blue mane began to form sparks of light throughout her hair, which shot out into the sky and decorated it with an intricate pattern of stars, adding a small amount of light to the town. Luna then uncrossed her forelegs and brought them to her sides. Starting from her lower half, she slowly brought them up, as the moon behind her steadily began to rise. Once her legs had reached well over her head, the moon let off a luminescent shine that covered the nation in a pale blue light. With the night properly composed, Luna gracefully touched down on the ground below her.
Celestia smiled upon her sister. “Well done, Luna. You always make such a spectacular night sky. It’s a shame that more ponies don’t give it the appreciation it deserves.”
Luna allowed herself to smile for a moment, looking away and humbly crossing one foreleg over the other. Her face quickly regained its sternness before she spoke. “What is thy bidding with us?”
“Could you please not talk to me like that? I know you’re not in the best mood right now, but you don’t have to treat me like I’m a stranger.”
“Fine. What do you want, sister?”
“I just wanted to speak with you for a moment; about earlier today.” Luna dropped her gaze downwards as her thoughts returned to the moment of her sister leaving in a huff. They had been enjoying each other’s company so much before that, but it had quickly become uncomfortable, and on Luna’s end, hostile. “I want the truth, Luna: Do you feel some sort of attraction towards me?”
Luna made her way towards the edge of the platform, propping her forelegs on the edge and looking out over the city, the lights of each building slowly dimming out. “I…” Luna’s voice wavered. She took a deep breath and tried again. “What if I did, sister? I am not saying that I feel anything, but what if I did? What would you do?”
Celestia smiled a bit. It wasn’t a total confession, but it was a start. “Well, if you did, then I wouldn’t hate you for it. You’re my sister, and I would still love you no matter what.”
“I assumed that you would not harbor hatred for me, and I appreciate it. But that is not what I was asking. I asked what you would do about it.”
Celestia tilted her head at Luna’s statement. “I’m not sure what you’re asking me.”
Luna turned her eyes towards her sister, just enough to make eye contact with her. “Would you do anything to… resolve the problem, as it were?”
“What are you…” Celestia noticed her sister avert her eyes. From Luna’s silence, the sun princess put the pieces together at what her sister was hinting towards her. “Oh, Luna, you’re not asking me to do that, are you?”
Luna heaved a very frustrated sigh as she stamped a hoof on the stone rampart. “I have not asked you to do anything!” she exclaimed, turning to face Celestia. “I asked if you were willing to help me, and clearly you are not. I am not sure why you even bother asking something you do not wish to know the answer to!”
“Please calm down, Luna. I am willing to help you however I can. There are just certain things I morally can’t do.”
The younger alicorn turned towards her sister, a look of anger upon her face. “Well, those ‘certain things’ might be all I ever think about, and I-!” Luna’s eyes opened wide as she placed a hoof over her mouth. Celestia herself felt quite bothered at what thoughts might be coursing through Luna’s head, especially if they involved her. “Just go.” Luna said, turning away. “I do not wish to talk anymore.”
“Don’t shut me out Luna. I want to help you.”
“You cannot help me. You already said so yourself.” Luna’s dark wings unfurled as she looked towards the town, nearly dark except for the lights of some establishments that thrived during the night. “Return to your own quarters. It is my turn to watch over the kingdom… alone… again.” Luna took flight into the night sky, letting herself glide down over the sleeping town of Canterlot.
Celestia watched her sister fly away from her for the second time that day. She felt crushed. Although she was still bothered that her own sister might be lusting after her, she felt even worse that Luna felt so distressed by it. She wanted to help her so much; but even she knew that there were limits to how she could help. Feeling defeated, Celestia took off herself, and landed upon her own balcony once again.
A small waterfall emptied out into a large basin below. Three ponies scurried about, placing an assortment of elegant smelling soaps, shampoos and fragrances along the edge. The walls of the large room were adorned with white clouds and a bright blue sky, and the floor resembled crisp grass with cobblestones leading to the tub. Every night the alicorn could be found relaxing here after setting her sun before she retired to bed. A door opened behind the three attendants, and in stepped the princess herself, still dressed from head to hoof in her regal attire.
“Ah! Welcome, princess.” A blonde maned pegasus hovered towards her, then landed to greet her properly. “We hope everything is just as you like it..”
The princess feigned a smile as she stepped closer to the tub. Her attendants scurried towards her to escort her.. She lifted her hooves so that the teal unicorn pony could remove her golden horseshoes, which felt stuck to her hooves after such a long and tiring day. She had no problem taking her own shoes off, but her subjects sometimes held her in such high regards that they believed the princess should never trifle with such menial tasks. It was easier to let them do what they will. The pegasus hovered above her head and lifted her tiara off, as well as her necklace. Now fully undressed, Celestia used one of her front hooves to carefully test the waters; they were warmer than she was used to, but still inviting. She submerged her foreleg deep within, the rest of her body following suit. She took in a deep breath and dipped her head into the water, letting her wavy mane sink in before she lifted it up once again. Her soaking mane, now weighed down by the water, no longer flowed ominously, and her sparkling hair glimmered even brighter throughout the room she bathed. The sensation of the warm water overtaking her body relaxed the sun princess little by little. She laid her head back against the edge and closed her eyes, while the Earth pony lifted her mane and let it splay out on the clean floor behind her so that she could properly wash it. The pegasus gently extended Celestia’s wing to give her an expert preening and grooming, while the unicorn levitated a soft gel on the princess’s horn to retain its smoothness.
“Has the day treated you well, your majesty?” the Earth pony asked.
Celestia thought back to how her day had treated her. She wanted so badly to tell them about the troubles she faced, about how worried she was about her sister. But these were her servants: it wouldn’t do to burden them with this sort of information. For one thousand years, she had lead her subjects with an unyielding spirit, and a smiling face to put them all at ease. It would be awful if she were to falter now. “The day has been wonderful to me; thank you for asking.”
The three ponies smiled back and resumed tending to their princess in silence. A spark of purple energy suddenly popped in the air before Celestia, followed by a large splash as something landed in the water. The attendants serving their princess yelped and jumped back in surprise, as the princess wiped her eyes of the water that had splashed on her face. She looked down in front of her, seeing the head of a purple unicorn emerge and take a large gasp for air. Shaking her own head of the excess water, she looked upwards and smiled at the alicorn looking down at her. “Princess!” she exclaimed excitedly.
“Twilight!” Celestia responded, a rush of happiness quickly overcoming her. She quickly leaned in and placed a gentle kiss on the unicorn’s sweet lips. Though surprised, Twilight instantly accepted and returned her embrace, tentatively pressing her lips against Celestias. The two broke their kiss with a wet smack and gazed into each others eyes a moment, until the sound of a pony clearing her throat broke the trance of the two lovers. They turned their gaze to the three attendants, frozen in place as they gazed upon the scene before them. The unicorn seemed to have forgotten that she was holding onto her horn waxing gel as she unconsciously dropped it with a wet splat as it made contact with the floor.
“Oh, right…” Celestia darted her eyes from side to side nervously. “You’re dismissed. I’m perfectly capable of washing myself, thank you.”
The bath attendants exchanged confused looks at each other, and then nodded back to their princess. Following a customary bow, they made their way out of the room, leaving the two ponies in the bathtub alone with each other. Now truly alone, the two mares locked eyes once again. Celestia moved her head over Twilight and let her hair sink into the water, rinsing away the suds of shampoo that still clung to her sparkling locks.
“You know, princess… you look really pretty with your hair all wet like that.” Twilight mentioned with a grin.
“Twilight, what in Equestria are you doing here?” Celestia asked as she beamed at her student.
“Well, isn’t it obvious?” Twilight responded. “I’m here so I can be with you.”
“But I thought you weren’t coming until tomorrow morning?”
“Neither did I. But I just couldn’t wait anymore. I was thinking about how you teleported from your palace to Sweet Apple Acres a while ago, and I wanted to try long distance teleportation for myself. I guess I still have some work to do though; I was trying to warp myself into your bedroom.”
The sun princess shook her head. “It’s not easy to do, Twilight. Even I have trouble pinpointing exactly where I show up when I travel so far away. I’m impressed that you’ve been able to do it on your first try. You never cease to amaze me.”
Twilight chuckled with a look of gratification on her face. “Thank you, princess. I’ve had a wonderful teacher.”
Princess Celestia raised a hoof out of the water and placed it on Twilight’s wet cheek gingerly. “I love you, Twilight.” She told her as she gazed into her violet eyes.
“I love you too.” Twilight replied. The two mares again met each other in a gentle kiss, holding it much longer than before. They moved their lips intricately, trying to get as much of a grasp on the other as they could.
While she enjoyed Twilight’s company, she still had the issue with her sister on her mind. Was this the kind of thing Luna wanted from her? Even though they were of the same blood, did her younger sister really desire her in such a way? She saw herself holding Luna in her forelegs for a moment, embracing her as she would Twilight, her younger sister making passionate sounds in appreciation of her sisters touch. She was so bothered by the idea that she began to lose her concentration on Twilight.
“Hey, what’s wrong?” Twilight asked as Celestia unconsciously broke their kiss. The alicorn opened her eyes and looked down at Twilight, a look of confusion on the unicorn’s face.
“What? Nothing’s wrong.” Celestia tried to reassure her.
“That’s not true, princess. Please, I want to know what’s bothering you.”
“Twilight, honestly, don’t worry about me.” The princess ran a hoof down Twilight’s back and gave her rump a firm squeeze as she kissed her mouth again. “I just want to enjoy this moment with you.” She slowly moved her hoof between Twilight’s hindlegs and gently rubbed across the crevasse of Twilight’s marehood. The fact that her lower body was submerged in water made it easy for Celestia to glide across the surface of her lips, and her touch made the unicorn’s body shudder fiercely.
“Ohh…” Twilight moaned as she shut an eye in reaction to the touch of the alicorn. “D-d-don’t change the subject! If something’s wrong, I want to know what it is.” She reached out and touched Celestia’s chest as her face wore a look of sincerity. “Please, don’t shut me out.”
Celestia looked away for a moment, contemplating whether or not she should burden the unicorn with her troubles. She stopped hoofing Twilight and hugged her tightly. “Thank you Twilight. You’re the best.” She took a deep breath before she spoke again. “Well, it’s my sister; she-.”
“Um... prin- Celestia?” Twilight interrupted. “You don’t have to stop, you know...” the unicorn moved her hips back and forth, softly grinding the princess’s thigh in display of her body’s need.
“Oops! Sorry.” Twilight beamed and readjusted herself so that her back was now pressed up against the alicorn's chest, and her hindlegs spread out wide to leave her marehood vulnerable. Celestia moved her hoof down Twilights chest until it reached the area it had been a moment ago, and gently stroked the surface in an upwards motion. She felt Twilight’s body shudder as she was touched.
“Ooh, there we go.” Twilight whispered under her breath. She smiled and rocked her hips gently into Celestia’s hoof, the warm water rippling from her motions. “So then, what’s bothering you princess?”
“I’m having some trouble with my sister at the moment.” Celestia replied, still lazily rubbing Twilight.
“Oh no, with Luna? You two aren’t getting along?”
“Actually, we have, especially today. I think today might have been the closest I’ve ever felt to her in a thousand years.”
“Well, that’s a- ahh…” Twilight took in a deep breath to keep her train of thought on track. Celestia’s touch was obviously having an effect on her, but she seemed determined to stay focused. “T-that’s a good thing, right?”
“It’s good that we’re feeling close again, but I have a feeling she might feel closer to me than I to her.”
“What do you mean?”
“I…” Celestia hesitated. She still didn’t find it easy to think about, much less say aloud. She gulped, and forced herself to say it. “I think my little sister is… attracted to me.”
Twilight’s body immediately froze in place. She tilted her head up to her lover with a startled look on her face. “Your sister has a crush on you?” she asked. Celestia put on a sheepish smile as she looked at the small unicorn. Twilight’s face suddenly turned to one of repulsion. “Ew, that’s disgusting!”
“Twilight, please! It’s my sister we’re talking about.”
“I know; that’s why it’s gross!”
“You could be a little more sensitive about it.” Celestia removed her hoof from Twilight's haunches, the both of them finding it awkward to continue while having such a discussion.
Twilight still had her teeth clenched as she looked away from Celestia. “I’m sorry princess. I’m not trying to be rude, but hearing you say that made me think about my brother, and… ah, no no no!” Twilight shook her head, in attempt to clear whatever dirty images had plagued her mind. “Anyway, let’s assess the situation here; you’re absolutely positive that she has those feelings for you, right?” the princess nodded her head. “How strong are those feelings do you think?”
“Well, I’ve seen her leave me twice with her tail raised up.”
“That’s a pretty strong indication alright. And you’re sure that it’s from you, not being aroused by something else?”
“Not at all. I was the only pony she interacted with. She pressed herself onto me physically more than once, and then became very defensive when I questioned why she was doing so.”
“But, why? She hasn’t felt this way about you forever, has she? Where would these feelings come from all of a sudden?”
Celestia thought back to that afternoon, when Luna had met her on top of the palace while she was sunbathing. That’s not the weirdest thing you’ve caught me doing, she’d said to her sister. “She had appeared into my room without my permission a while ago, while I was… alone.”
“Alone? Oh, alone, I see.” Twilight’s face lit up with a look of realization. “Oh, that explains it! Luna’s probably admi
red you for so long, but in a platonic way. Now that she’s seen the pony she’s looked up to in a more erotic light, it’s thrown her a curveball. If the image of you in such a state combined with how few relationships she has these days… she’s probably going through so much confusion right now.” Twilight shook her head as she laid back and raised a hindleg from the water to cross it over the other.
“That’s what I’m worried about. Sure I’m uncomfortable that my sister is lusting after me, but I’m more concerned about what it’s doing to her. I’m sure she’s not enjoying the fact that she sees me that way. What am I going to do?”
“You do have a few options, princess. First; do nothing. Which I don’t think is a very good idea, since her feelings might fester inside of her and just make things even worse. Next, you could try talking to her about it.”
“I’ve already tried that, Twilight. It just upset her even more.”
“Shoot. You could also try to set her up with somepony, but that’s going to be a tough one. She may have learned how to get along with her subjects in just one night, but it’s probably going to take much longer to find her a suitable date. Lastly…” Twilight’s eyes darted from side to side in hesitation.
“What is it?”
“Nothing.”
“Twilight, please tell me. I need all the help I can get with this.”
Twilight wore a very distressing look on her face. “I guess if nothing else works, you might see about giving her a pity… you know…?”
Celestia’s face twisted at the unicorn’s suggested. “Twilight! Are you suggesting that I… lie with my little sister?” Twilight nodded. “Aren’t you the one who was so opposed to thinking of your brother that way?”
“Yes, and I still am! Bleh!” Twilight again shook her head. “But I’m saying that if there was a problem with my brother, and it was the only way for us to solve it, then I guess I would… ugh, I don’t want to think about it! Anyway, it’s just something to keep in mind.”
“But what about you, Twilight? You’re the pony I’m in love with.” Celestia ran a hoof gently across Twilight’s wet mane as she gazed down at her. “I couldn’t possibly lay with another before you.”
Twilight smiled as she reached up and pulled Celestia’s hoof down to her chest, placing a loving kiss on it. “I’d be okay with it, just this once. If it’s to settle family matters, I wouldn’t mind. In fact, I’d encourage it… but only as a last resort, of course.”
“Of course.” Celestia nodded. “Thank you, Twilight. Discussing it with you has put my mind at ease for a moment.”
“I’m glad. Now then, think we can continue where we left off?” Twilight gently pushed Celestia’s white hoof down her body, and nestled it in between her hindlegs. Celestia smirked at resumed stroking the unicorn’s marehood. Twilight gasped, and wriggled herself up against Celestia’s chest. She closed her eyes and raised her forelegs in submission to the wonderful feeling coursing through her body.
“So, how did you like that letter I sent you, princess?” she asked through bated breaths.
“Oh, you mean the one with your scent on it?” Princess Celestia moved her head down and brushed her snout on Twilight’s head, moving down the side and towards her ear. “I loved it.” She whispered. “It drove me crazy. I had to take it to my room and have some private time for myself.”
“Really?” Twilight turned her head up as she felt the princess’s lip brush against her ear. “I can’t believe that a letter of mine had such an effect on you.”
“Oh it does. But, it’s nothing compared to having the real thing right here, with me.” She closed her eyes and nibbled on the edge of her ear.
“Ahh…” the small unicorn moaned out loud and tightened her face. “Oh, princess, I can’t take it anymore! Please let me cum!” She began to push her hips forcibly into the princess’s hoof, who had only been lightly teasing her lips the entire time.
Celestia wore a devious grin as she wrapped an unoccupied foreleg around Twilight’s stomach, and began to push firmly into her students opening with rigorous speed, causing the water to splash from her movement. “Who do you love Twilight?”
“I love you… Celestia! Ahhh~!” Twilight cried out as her lower body trembled and shook. Twilight bit her lower lip and smiled, a sign of how much she’d enjoyed her climax. “Oh… oh, that was amazing. You’re amazing.”
“Thank you, dear. Glad you enjoyed it.” Celestia lifted Twilight a bit out of the water and kissed her on the cheek. The unicorn turned her body to face the princess, and gave her another kiss on her mouth.
“Mm, I really want to give you something in return.” A powerful yawn escaped Twilight’s mouth. “But I think that teleportation really took it out of me. Sorry, princess.”
“That’s fine. You’ll be here for a while looking for a spell to help find the changelings anyway. We’ll have plenty of time to spend together.”
“Thanks, princess.” Twilight closed her weary eyes and snuggled her head into Celestia’s chest. “I love you.” She said before she drifted off to sleep.
“I love you too.” Celestia replied to an already fast asleep unicorn, stroking her wet mane as she felt Twilight’s deep breath against her. Using her magic to levitate her, Celestia stepped out of the tub and let Twilight lay against her back. She conjured a small wind spell to circle them until they were reasonably dry. She made her way towards the exit of the bath house, carrying the sleeping unicorn on her back. The problem with her sister still weighed heavy on her mind; but now that her most faithful student had conversed with her, it seemed a bit more manageable now. Love had a way of clearing things up for a pony. She couldn’t blame those who went mad from never having felt its guiding embrace.
Entering her bedchambers for the night, Princess Celestia gently levitated the unicorn to her large red and pink flowery bed. Placing her head on one of her pillows, she quietly made her way to the other side of the bed and slid over next to Twilight, pulling a large set of covers over the two of them. She loved watching Twilight sleep. Even if she wasn’t awake, she could sense how happy she was at the moment. Twilight was spending a night with Celestia, the alicorn she had loved for most of her life. That was all she needed. She began to stroke the unicorn’s head softly.
Love... what a complicated thing. That one feeling that had a number of variations. It could describe a deep friendship, or the bond between families. It also could describe a deep attraction between two ponies. But what about when that attraction was for family? That sort of matter made things truly complicated. Celestia sighed as she ceased petting Twilight a moment. She sat upright with her hooves in front of her mouth, contemplating the situation before her.
If she didn’t help her sister relieve this tension inside of her, there were a multitude of things that could happen. The most unlikely was that it could build inside of her into rage, and force her to resort to becoming Nightmare Moon, threatening Equestria with eternal nightfall once again. It wasn’t very likely though. She trusted that despite Luna’s short temper, she had matured and understood the ramifications of what she had done so long ago. What most worried her was the possibility that they might try to distance themselves from each other from being too uncomfortable. She had to force herself to talk with Luna at sundown, and she had to admit, it had even been hard for her to speak knowing that Luna felt that way about her.
She could arrange for finding a suitable mate for Luna, but the process of putting such an event together would take far too long, and suffer its own share of complications. Luna might be insulted that her older sister had made the assumption that her problem stemmed from merely being single and lonely. What, you think I have gone mad just because I do not have somepony to lay with each night like you do? Oh, thank you so much sister, that is truly too kind of you! Even if she could put something together without upsetting Luna, there was the uncertainty of takers that would attend. There might be a line that travelled outside of Canterlot of mares and colts all competing for Luna’s hoof; which could at least do for a nice boost of ego. But unless the best match for her happened to be close to the front of the line, she could still see Luna demanding a stop to the entire event, certain that not one resident of Equestria would be right for her.
And then there was the third option, her last resort. Celestia gulped as she considered it. The very thought made her slightly nauseous. The princess may have had an interest in sensual activities, maybe more so than any mare in Equestria; but this was too far. Luna was family, and younger than her. She’d helped raised her since she was a filly. She remembered the night that she had received her cutie mark for raising the moon by herself. She remembered how proud she was of her, and how excited Luna had been when she had learned to scatter all sorts of stars across the night sky. She loved Luna… but not in the way that her sister might want from her.
But if I really love her, even as family, shouldn’t I be willing to go past my own discomfort to help her? She looked over at Twilight, who had turned over on her side towards Celestia, her mouth still hanging open as she slept. She thought back to the days when Twilight was just a young filly, under her constant tutelage to perfect her control over her magic. She’d considered the little unicorn as her own daughter, and herself as a sort of mother figure to her. She had enough sense of herself not to fall in love with a child. She’d been her protector, and had felt a kinship similar to what she’d felt with Luna, but in a more parental sense. It was only when the unicorn had been all grown up that she’d realized that the love she’d felt for her had taken a new form.
But you weren’t my literal family. There wasn’t really anything wrong with our love. You showed me that, Twilight. She laid her head down and kissed Twilight’s head softly. The little pony smiled and wriggled her head deeper into her pillow. Celestia moved herself closer to Twilight and wrapped a hoof around her shoulders.
Do it, and possibly feel shame for the rest of eternity, or don’t, and risk losing my sister for eternity? Neither option brought peace to Celestia’s mind. She’d made her decision, regrettably. She closed her eyes and tried not to think about it. She tried to envision Twilight as she felt herself drift to sleep; tried to imagine the two of them enjoying themselves. She began to dream of walking down the beach with Twilight, playing in the water as her sun began to set, creating a beautiful glow around the two lovers.
The morning sky still remained dark, except for a slight presence of sunlight teeming on the edge of darkness, waiting to be fully raised. Princess Luna remained vigilant on the edge of her balcony, looking up towards the sky where some of her stars were faintly visible. She found her gaze reaching the tower that her older sister’s room resided in. To her surprise, she noticed that her sister had walked out of her room. Celestia’s horn illuminated with magic, and she looked towards the sky, a look of impatience on her face.
A look of panic about her, Luna hastily conjured up the spell to lower her moon, dropping her head to guide it properly. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed Celestia raise her head a bit as the sun shone brilliantly over the land, but… nothing more. She did not take to the skies with pride as she used to, raising her hooves out to emphasize the glowing rays of her beautiful sun. With her task done, Celestia about faced and retreated back into her quarters. She had raised the sun without saying a word to her sister, not even bothering to be in close proximity to her. Luna’s mouth trembled with sadness, and she shut her eyes tightly. She sunk her head and made her way back into her own bedroom.
Darkness; it was all that Luna seemed to know. Some ponies assumed that she was the pony who ushered in the darkness. It wasn’t true; the darkness appeared from her sister, lowering her shining sun from the sky. Luna was responsible only for raising the moon and stars, actually bringing a small amount of light to the nation. But of course nopony ever acknowledged this. They only associated her with the dark. It seemed fitting that within her own room, it would be dark enough that ponies would still think it night, even in the morning.
Perhaps there were other sources of light in her room; the walls and ceiling were decorated with an assortment of tiny stars, and a moon at the center of her ceiling. Despite its beauty, Luna did not show any joy at taking in the sight of these things. She threw herself on her bed and sunk her head into her pillow, taking in deep breaths and whimpering faintly for a moment. Then, she became silent; a sign that sleep had put her mind at ease for now.
Unknown to the princess of the night, she was not alone in this room. Underneath her bed, holding her hooves to her mouth to prevent herself from making any noise was Princess Celestia. The larger alicorn silently pulled herself out from under Luna’s bed and rose to her hooves. With grim determination apparent in her face, she looked upon the sleeping alicorn, completely unaware of her presence. She took a deep breath, steeling herself for what she was about to do.
Luna turned to her side, so that Celestia could see her face. As she looked at her younger sister sleeping so peacefully, her tension began to disperse. Even though she had grown up so much, she was still her baby sister; the pony who’d clung to her so desperately when they were young. It had been a millennium and a half ago, but she remembered it like it had been the previous night.
"Tia? Tia!"
Celestia groggily stirred from her sleep as she felt a hoof gently pushing into her side. "Mm? Luna, is that you?" she asked as she slowly turned to her side. "What's going on?"
“I... I had a bad dream!”The little alicorn cried.
Celestia's eyes sprung open as she used her magic to illuminate her room. Now able to properly see, she looked at Luna's face, her lips quivering in fear and her eyes streaming with tears. “Oh you poor thing!”Celestia quickly scooped Luna up into her forelegs and rubbed her back. “Shh, come now, it’s alright. Please tell me what happened.”
Luna sniffed and stopped crying out for just a moment to look at her older sister. “I-I-I was in a forest with you, and we were lost, a-and then there was a big dragon-monster that started chasing us, and we ran away from it, and then you got stuck in something, and I tried to save you, but… but…” Luna again began to cry as she shoved her face into her sisters white chest, unable to describe what horrible fate Celestia had met in her dream
“Oh sweetheart, I am so sorry. That does sound like a scary dream! But it wasn’t real, was it?”
“It felt real! I thought it was real! That is why I begged the guard to take me to you; I had to know you did not get eaten!”
She leaned down and kissed Luna on her head. She brushed her mane, dark and tame and lacking any magical energy since she was still so young. “Do you feel that, Luna? That is real.” She kissed her again, and rocked her in her legs gently. “And right now is real, and I am here for you; I will always be here for you. Okay?”
Luna’s sobs became less frequent now, as she sniffed and coughed a bit. “Thank you, Tia.”
“Of course, that is what I am here for.” Celestia lifted Luna up in front of her and kissed her on her cheek. “Luna, would you like to sleep in my bed tonight?”
Luna looked away, her eyes still puffy from crying so much. “No… I am a big pony. I can sleep in my own bed.”
“I know that you are a big pony. But even big ponies get scared, and need somepony else to make them feel better.”
“They… they do?”
“M-hm! In fact…” Celestia wore a slightly worried expression on her face. “I am a bit scared right now. I am scared that you might be all alone in your bed tonight. Will you sleep with me, so I do not feel so scared for you? Please?”
Luna smiled brightly at her sister. “Okay, Tia; I will stay here for you.”
“Thank you Luna; that is so nice of you!” She kissed her sister’s nose before she levitated a few tissues out of her cupboard and brought them close to Luna. "Now, let's get you cleaned up."
“Tia?” Luna asked as she looked up at her older sister.
“Yes?”
“You’re… the best sister ever.”
“Oh no, not me. That would be you!” She magically floated the tissues in front of Luna’s face and wiped her tears off of her face.
“No, you are!” Luna protested, pushing the material away from her face.
Celestia tried her best not to giggle at the little filly. “Well, let us compromise; we are the best sisters ever. Deal?”
“Deal!” Luna leaned forward and hugged her sisters face tightly.
“Try not to have anymore bad dreams tonight if you can help it, okay Luna?” she asked, gently setting Luna onto the other side of her bed.
“Okay.” As Celestia made her way into the bed, Luna wrapped her tiny forelegs around her big sister's stomach, nuzzling her head in with a smile on her face.
“Good girl. Sweet dreams, Luna.” Celestia patted her little sister’s head, helping her relax into her slumber.
You too, Tia!
The words echoed throughout Celestia’s mind as she watched her sister sleep in front of her in the present day. The memories she’d reflected on brought a tear to her eye and filled her heart with warmth to rival that of her own sun. “Oh my…” she whispered under her breath, reaching up to her eye and wiping away what had collected there.
I can’t do this… she thought to herself as she looked at Luna. I’d give my life to help you Luna, but this… it’s just wrong. It’s the one thing I can’t do. I couldn’t live with myself as your sister if I did. Please don’t hate me for it.
She was about to generate some magic to conjure a teleportation spell, when Luna turned over to her other side. Now her dark rump was facing Celestia, and as she expected, her tail hung lazily to the side. Celestia couldn’t help but look at her now. She’d never really taken it in, but Luna had grown up so much. Her hair and tail wafted without an air current, just like her own. Though she was smaller in size, she was still larger than their subjects. Those long slender legs went quite nicely with those round cheeks of hers. She was the mistress of the moon in more sense than one…
Stop it! Her inner thoughts commanded her. You are not supposed to be looking at her that way! Shame, shame!
“Mm…” Luna’s voice moaned in her own sleep as her hindlegs rubbed themselves against each other. Her flank slowly wiggled in front of Celestia, as her exposed lower lips began to secrete just a bit of wetness. The fluids shone slightly as they reflected some of the light of the makeshift stars above her. She was having a powerful dream; one that Celestia wasn’t sure she wanted to be aware of. Celestia felt her heart race as she looked upon her sisters rear end, some drool escaping her mouth and slipping down her chin.
No no no! I cannot be feeling this! She thought, wiping her mouth dry. She’s my little sister! I’m not supposed to be thinking this! She shook her head a bit, trying to clear away those dirty thoughts. She’d felt sympathy for Luna for the past day, but for the first time ever, she was now feeling… empathy. She felt her body heat up as her wings began to twitch slightly.
You are... the best sister ever!
Oh no, that is not me; that would be you!
Celestia reached up and smacked above her head with her own hoof. Stop! I can’t be here right now, I have to leave!
“Unn…” Luna moaned out again, her slit pulsing open a moment and secreting even more fluids, enough to make it spill over and drip down her prominent rump and down to her bed sheets. “T-Ti…a…”
...Do it, filly! Was the last thought to cross her mind, before she buried her snout right into Luna’s wet opening, taking a large and loud sniff of her pony musk. She traveled from one end near her clitoris all the way up, stopping just below her flankhole. “Ahhhh!” she cried out loud, as her wings spread out so quickly it hurt.
A soft whine escaped Luna’s throat as she awoke suddenly and turned her head to see what had touched her “Sister!?”
Celestia turned her gaze to meet her Luna’s. “Would you have wanted it to be anypony else?”
“No… not possible.” Luna stammered, her face turning a profuse shade of scarlet. “This cannot be real…”
Celestia kept her eyes on Luna as she moved her head to one side of her sisters rump and gave it a gentle and loving kiss. “Do you feel that? That’s really real.”
Luna shuddered at Celestia’s embrace, apparently coming to terms with the reality of the situation. “This… this is so…”
“So what, Luna?” Celestia asked, slowly making her way onto Luna’s bedspread, not taking her eyes off her a moment.
“It… it is so… wrong…” Luna’s voice went up a pitch as she uttered that last word.
“It is. But you still want it, don’t you?”
“I…”
“Don’t lie to me!” Celestia said, placing her forelegs on either side of her sister and staring at her intently.
“I…” Luna looked away from Celestia and closed her eyes before she threw her head back. “I do!” As she admitted her desires, her own dark wings spread out from her sides.
“How badly?”
“Oh, I have been dreaming of it for several weeks now! I have awoken so many times after dreaming of you touching me. Most nights I am so wet, I cannot even get back to sleep; I must relieve myself of some tension before resting again.” Luna closed her eyes and threw her head back against her pillow, and reached a foreleg down to press into her wet folds.
“Oh, you poor thing!” Celestia said in an affectionate manner. She reached down to Luna’s hoof and pulled it back up, holding it within her own hooves. “Don’t worry, your big sister is here; I’ll make it all better.” She kissed where Luna’s hoof was wet with her juices, and ran her tongue along the surface to lap it up.
The younger alicorn began to smile as Celestia ran the toe of her hoof against the dark fur of her foreleg, running it across her chest and down her belly. She reached her nether regions and pushed softly against her dark and wet crevasse. Luna clenched her teeth and squirmed a bit as she was pressed into so firmly.
“How does that feel, dear?” Celestia asked with a devilish smile.
“It feels... wonderful. But...”
“But what?”
“I want... more...” Luna asked with desperation in her voice.
“Oh, do you now?” Celestia asked, leaning her face in close to Luna’s. “What do you say?”
“Um... please?”
Celestia snickered, before she stuck her tongue out at Luna. She removed her hoof from Luna’s folds and placed her grip on Luna’s hindlegs. She began to drag the underside of her tongue down Luna’s front until it reached Luna’s wet surface, which Celestia began to lap up intently. She could feel Luna’s body shaking with anticipation as she licked. She fortified the strength in her tongue and pushed into Luna’s slit. “Ooh!” The young alicorn let out a long moan as she was finally penetrated. Celestia felt a momentary tension in Luna’s body, as her inner walls began to flex and tighten around her tongue. The white alicorn closed her eyes and concentrated on her work. She began to thrust her head back and forth, trying to push as far as she could into Luna.
As she persisted, Celestia felt something brush against her ears gently. She opened her eyes to look ahead, and saw Luna reaching down to pet her older sister while her body was tended to.
Ooh... that feels nice... really nice. She felt that tingle in her own nether regions begin to intensify as her ears were fondled. Letting go of her sister's legs a moment, she reached a hoof back and rubbed her own lips. As expected, she could feel them sopping wet. Oh my gosh... I’m enjoying this far more than I should! Putting her hoof back at her sister’s rump, Celestia then pulled her tongue out and raised her head up, pushing the surface of her tongue firmly into Luna’s clitoris .
“Aah!” Celestia then brought her lips down and gently began to suck on her. Luna instinctively wrapped her legs around Celestia’s head as she began to rock her body into her big sister’s face. “Ohhh!” Celestia closed her eyes as Luna cried out. Despite that she was enjoying herself, she couldn’t bring herself to watch Luna as she climaxed.
Celestia felt a spurt of moisture on her bottom lip as Luna’s hips made another thrust into her sister's face. Luna’s body relaxed a bit, her legs releasing Celestia’s head from their firm grip. The white alicorn raised her head and placed her chin on Luna’s stomach, licking up the bit of wetness still clinging to her face.
“M-more.” Luna whispered in a daze.
“More...?” Celestia asked, her face losing its smile.
“More! Please sister, I need more from you!”
Celestia’s jaw clenched as she listened to Luna’s desperate cries, and the tickle felt in her haunches only increased even more. She didn’t want to admit it, but her own body was in need of relief as well. She took a deep breath and rose herself up on her knees, using her forelegs to hold her little sister's lower body up towards the ceiling. Luna squeaked a bit as she was suddenly lifted.
“Let me know if I’m hurting you.” Celestia told her, lifting her own hindleg over Luna’s front, and pushed her wet lips into Luna’s. She felt her own legs shake a bit as they made contact with the bit of soft wet flesh, but she quickly fortified her stance. Looking into Luna with determination, she began to push her body into the alicorn underneath her. Each time she pushed, a soft wet smack sounded from the force of their marehoods pressing together. Luna’s mouth hung open as she looked up at her sister. She held a foreleg up over her head, while another lay off to the side. The entire time Celestia pushed into her, the volume of her moans increased little by little.
“Ohh! Ohhh! OHH!!”Suddenly, Luna’s voice boomed as she accidentally slipped into using her royal canterlot voice, causing the walls of her bedroom to shake with each outcry. “OHH, YES!! YES!!”
“Ssh!” Celestia exclaimed, ceasing her motions for a moment. “Do you want the whole castle to hear you!?”
A look of panic came over Luna, and she quickly brought her hooves to her mouth. “Sorry!” she replied in her normal tone.
A devious smile came over Celestia as she resumed thrusting into Luna once again. “You... are one naughty mare... you know that?”
Luna’s face brightened as her sister spoke to her. “I am! I... believe I might need a spanking.”
Celestia bit her bottom lip and rose one of her forelegs into the air, bringing it swiftly down across her sisters rump. She heard Luna cry out in passion as she was struck.
“More!” she squealed, her tail swishing excitedly. Celestia brought her hoof down several more times, and then began to massage her gently, not wanting to hurt her too badly.
“Where did you get such a fine rump, Luna?” she asked as she caressed the alicorns bottom.
“I-I believe I inherited it from our mother’s side.” Luna replied, a bit short on breath.
“Oh, mother... she’d be furious if she knew what we were doing right now.”
“As would father! He would lock us in our bedrooms, and never let us see one another again!”
“But that wouldn’t stop me.” Celestia reminded her as her hoof traveled up and down Luna’s backside. “I’d still find my way to you. I’d do anything for you, Luna.”
“T-t-Tia...?” Luna cried as her body began to twitch severely.
“Yes, dear?” Celestia asked, slowing her motions down a moment.
“I am... I am about to cum...” she admitted, sounding a bit ashamed.
Celestia smiled and licked her lips. “That’s fine. Go ahead.” She closed her eyes and began to rigorously push into Luna with increased speed. She was close herself; not as much as Luna, but not enough to leave her unsatisfied.
“Watch me.”
“What?”
“I... want you... to watch me!” she heard Luna beg. Her eyes immediately opened against her will as she looked down at the alicorn below her. Luna reached up and grabbed Celestia’s hoof with her own, and let her mouth hang open. “Ahh... ahh...” Celestia could feel Luna’s grip tighten as she drew ever closer to her moment of release. Her shoulders rose a bit, before her body shook with intensity. “Ohhh!”
The combination of seeing her sister’s orgasm face and feeling her release upon her own body was too much for Celestia. She felt the pressure in her loins reach a spike as she clenched her teeth together. “Hnnng! Ahh!” and the dam broke, her own juice spilling and mixing with Luna’s. Feeling exhausted, Celestia let go of Luna’s hindlegs and let her own body drop to the mattress, burying her face deep within one of her pillows.
“Ah...” Luna sighed deeply as she turned herself over and wrapped her forelegs around Celestia, nuzzling her face into the back of the white alicorn’s neck. “Thank you so much, sister.”
Sister... Now that she had climaxed, the realization of what she had just done came flooding into her mind. Oh no... what have I done? She could feel a bit of sickness forming in her stomach while she lay there, contemplating the last few moments in silence.
“Tia? Are you okay?”
“I-I’m fine!” Celestia responded, trying not to turn around if she could help it.
“Is there something wrong?”
Celestia gulped, and forced herself to turn around. She looked upon Luna, staring into Celestia’s eyes with concern. Despite her worry, her face still had that warm and peaceful glow of sudden relief. A genuine smile formed on Celestia’s face. “No. Everything is fine, dear sister.” She reached her own hooves around Luna and placed a gentle kiss on Luna’s forehead.
The younger alicorn giggled and sank her head into the pillow she lay on. Look how happy she is. Celestia thought to herself. Can something that’s helped her so much really be such a bad thing? She began to pet Luna’s hair as she looked upon her and admired her joyous state. “Do you feel better?”
“I do! I feel as if the weight of Equestria has been lifted from my shoulders!”
“Well, that’s because it’s on mine for the moment. Hopefully you won’t mind if I dump it back onto you at the end of the day.” The two princesses giggled at her little jest. “I’m glad I could help you get this whole thing out of your system.” As she spoke, the younger alicorn averted her eyes and kept silent, as if she were in deep thought. “Luna...?”
She suddenly brought her eyes back and met her sister's gaze, smiling brightly. “Yes! It is most certainly gone. No lingering feelings at all!” Celestia wore a puzzled expression as she felt Luna nuzzle into her chest a moment. “Thank you.” she told her.
Celestia smiled once again. “Of course.” She gave her one final hug before she rolled herself out of bed and stretched her joints firmly.
“Tia?”
“Yes?”
“You are the best sister ever.”
Celestia smiled genuinely at Luna. “No, that’d be you!”
Both alicorns looked at each other before uttering at the same time. “We’re the best sisters ever!” and laughed as a sign of good faith for each other. Luna waved at Celestia as her magic enveloped her and whisked her out of the dark starlit room.
A bright light flashed throughout Princess Celestia’s room, and there appeared the alicorn herself. Breathing out a sigh of exhaustion, she made her way towards her bed and let herself flop onto her bedspread.
“Good morning, sunshine.” A voice said to her sweetly.
Celestia looked up quickly to see Twilight Sparkle’s face beaming at her, propping her chin up with her foreleg against her pillow.
“Twilight! Oh, you startled me. I’d forgotten you were still there.”
“You forgot? Well that’s a bit thoughtless, don’t you think?” she wore a look of mocking disappointment as she looked towards the princess.
“I’m sorry, dear. I’ve had a rather busy morning.”
“Busy? But the morning just started. What could you have been busy doing… oh… so you did that, huh?” Celestia grimaced and looked away from her lover in shame. “Hey… I’m proud of you.”
“Are you? What for?”
“Because, I know it couldn’t have been easy for you. You knew that she needed you, and even though you didn’t feel the same way, you made a sacrifice on her behalf. That’s a big step to show how much you care.” Twilight nuzzled her lover a bit, finally drawing a smile out of her.
“Thank you Twilight.”
Twilight grinned back at her and kissed her fur. “So… how was it?”
“It was... interesting. I’m not sure if I’m ready to talk about it though.”
“You’re right; I’m sorry.”
Celestia wore a puzzled expression on her face. “Why do you even want to know, sweetheart?”
“No reason!”
“Twilight, I was honest with you last night when I didn’t want to be; don’t start thinking you get to keep things from me now.”
Twilight looked sheepishly at the large alicorn next to her and sighed. “Alright. Truth time.” The purple unicorn cleared her throat before speaking. “You know I’m in love with you, and that will never ever change. But when I met Luna on Nightmare Night, the first time I’d seen her since we saved her from Nightmare Moon, I couldn’t help but think she was… kind of cute.”
The expression that Celestia wore wasn’t exactly a happy one, but it didn’t show traces of anger either as she nodded. “I see…”
“It wasn’t really a big deal to me at the time; it was just something I noticed. After the night, she never entered my thoughts again. But when I heard you talk about how she was lusting after you, it kind of put my mind in a weird place. It made me think about the pony I love spending a night with another pony I thought was attractive, especially one who’s so similar to you. That’s why I suggested that you lay with her. It was my desires getting the best of me. But now that I’m thinking about the two of you together, I have to admit, I’m a bit jealous.”
“Oh, Twilight, I’m sorry.” Celestia raised a hoof to hold Twilight in comfort. “I should have known you wouldn’t be okay with it, even when you said you were.”
“No, it’s not that big a deal, really. I’m fine with you doing that if it’s to help Luna. I guess I just wish I could have been there with you.”
Celestia nodded, but then froze as her mind processed what she just heard. “Been there with me? You mean, in the same room, watching us or something?”
“Yeah, that might have been nice. Or, you know… joining.”
“Joining!?” Celestia asked, the volume in her voice rising slightly.
“Sure! They’re called threesomes, right?” Twilight asked, grinning innocently. Celestia looked at her student slack-jawed, not sure if she could believe what she was hearing from her student. The young filly she’d taught had certainly acquired some new interests as she’d grown up. “Hey, princess, are… are you okay?”
Celestia corrected her mouth and looked away a moment. Try as she might, she didn’t have an answer for her student. “Say Twilight, it might be a good idea for you to take a trip to the Canterlot library; see if you can get a start on finding a way to detect changelings in disguise?”
A look of shock formed over Twilight’s face. “Oh my gosh! I totally forgot that was why I came here in the first place!” She hurriedly jumped up and crawled over Celestia’s lap off the side of the bed. “The safety of Equestria might be in my hooves, and I’m here lying in bed! I hope the princess won’t be too angry with me for neglecting my studies.” She said with a sly grin to Celestia.
The alicorn giggled. “I think she might find it in herself to forgive her best student ever.” She winked at Twilight before she continued. “I know you’ll make me proud. Now get to it.”
Twilight smiled wide and concentrated her magic into her horn, teleporting herself out of Celestia’s bedroom. With the area to herself once again, Celestia laid her head back and stared up at the ceiling adorned with an image of her sun.
Wonderful. I thought that I’d only have to see my sister in such a state once and be done with it… but now the pony I love wants to see her that way too. And if I tell her no, she’ll feel cheated, and for good reason. She shook her head as she contemplated her situation. I don’t really have a choice in the matter, do I? Celestia slipped out of her bed and walked towards her doorway. Why…? Why am I the center of all of these sexual escapades? It’s not like I’m doing it on purpose or anything. Can’t I just run this country normally for a while?
THE END
Took long enough. I hope it was worth the wait for you all.
Big thank you to Karakaz for the long hours going over my story along with me and coaching me about character behaviors and elements to make this story the best it could be. We had a lot of back and forths about different views, but it was a very fun experience.
I also would like to dedicate this chapter to a very special friend of mine, who has a very deep affection for Luna.
And of course, thanks to all of you who wait patiently for me to make stories. You're all wonderful, and make me smile every time I hear what you have to say. Keep on clopping!
