The Calm Before The Storm
I was walking on my way home from High school tired and hungry. I looked up in the sky at the sun. the way it looked was about 3:00 in the afternoon. I looked down to my shoes as I walked staring at my old red and white Nike's, then my worn out blue jeans, I was wearing a brown tee shirt, and a unzipped black hoodie. my black shiny hair glistened in the sun light. Once I got home I turned on some Dragon Ball Z. Goku was fighting Frieza. I also grabbed some ice cream from the fridge chillaxin, Then a bright light was seen coming out of a crack in the wooden floor. "There can't be any light down there. We dont even have a basement!" A piece of wood chipped off the floor on the opposite side of the room, And another beam of white light came from the hole it left. "What the fuck?" I got off the chair and went over to the hole. BOOM!!! Then a large hole broke through the floor and sucked in the wooden planks it made. "It's so bright I can't even look at it!" Sudenly I felt like something was pulling me in. I open my eyes to see darkness a lightning bolt came out of knowhere and struck me in the chest. Then I passed out...When I woke up I was in a field full of apple trees. Pain was felt on my chest and my head I looked to see a burnt hole in my shirt showing pink and bloody burned skin. Putting my hand to my face i felt my cheek an looked at my hand. Bood was on it now, when i started to get up excruciating pain was felt down my leg. "AAAGHH!" Falling on my arm I looked down to see that my leg was broken. Hopefully someone will hear me. "HELP!" ...No response. "SOMEONE PLEASE MY LEG IS BROKEN HELP!!!" ...The galloping of a horse was heard. "What are ya?" a female voice said. I looked and saw a orange pony with a blonde mane and a stetson hat. "Help please my leg is broken I cant get up." "Hold on sugarcube I'll be back with some help." The orange pony ran off while I sat there waiting... Around twenty minutes later the orange pony was back with five others. "Are y'all alright" she said. The other ponies just stood there looking frightened. another pony was comming over. This pony was a bit taller than the others, her mane was purple and blue and had glistening stars. Looked as if it were in water waving like that. Her coat was dark blue, she wore a neclace with a crested moon. "No it's my leg its broken. ARRRGHH it hurts to move!" I said in pain from my broken leg. "Don't y'all worry Princess Luna here knows a spell to get rid of your pain." The orange pony said scared yet concerned. "Wait Princess?" I was shocked to hear. "Not now thou stay still!" Luna said. I was scared but I did what I was told, I laid back didn't move a muscle. Her horn glowed purple then my leg quit hurting. When I looked down to my leg it was still broken but i couldn't feel it. "What are thou?! what are thou intentions?!" Luna asked protecting the others. I was scared I didn't understand what was going on so I thought I should tell her what happened. "Listen im not here to hurt anyone or anything. Last thing I remember I was at my home then some sort of portal burst through the hard wood floor, and I ended up here." Luna and the others calmed down after what I said. "What are you?" a purple unicorn asked me. She had a purple coat with dark purple mane with pink streaks through it. "I am a Human." I said. All the ponies were shocked like they never seen a human before. Luna said that i need to go to Canterlot and be interrorgated. I agreed, I thought whatever happend to me if I told them they might know how to send me back. Luna had told the others to stay and look after the scene. Then her horn glowed purple and i was suddenly in a large castle. Luna was right next to me, "Am I going to be okay Princess?" I said scared out of my mind. "Oh yes just stay still okay this will feel weird at first." She put her horn to my head and it started to glow. Closing my eyes i felt light headed and passed out.
The Calm Before The Storm
When I awoke i was naked in a bed. I looked around for my clothes, they were on the dresser all folded and clean. Geting up I grabbed my clothes got dressed a... -snif-snif- a smell was in the air. I opened the door and followed the smell downstairs. When I looked back at the door i saw a crested moon like on Luna's necklace. Then I realized, "I SLEPT NAKED IN A PRINCESSES BED!!!" I said wispering. I was bursting red like a cherry. Immediatly i got rid of the thought. Going down the stairs i found were the smell came from. in what looked like a kitchen a white alicorn sat at a table eating something. It was a piece of chocolate strawberry cake! "Oh my you caught me." The white alicorn said. I couldn't help but giggle. "I am Princess Celestia ruler of Equestria. What is your name?" "Oh yes my name is Joshua but people call me Josh." I answered. "Sorry my Princess I didnt know who you were. I just dont know what is happening?" She looked at me with a studying look. "Your a human is that right?" Nodding yes to her question. "I'm sorry Joshua." She said sadly. I was scared now. "What is it?" I pleaded. "The human race died out twelve thousand years ago." She answered. "WHAT!!!?" "Are you telling me I went foward in time?" I was hoping this was all but a dream. How could the human race die out? We were so advanced in technology and weaponry. "Yes they died out in war against each other." Celestia said. I then knew it was true, since the human race was almost alyays at war with one another. "NOOOOOOOOOO!!!" i screamed, tears fell from my eyes, all those I cared about gone. "M-M-My family they're gone... all gone." Celestia walked over concerned for me. Before she could touch my shoulder, I hugged her and sobbed. "I'm so sorry dear. I wish to grant you something." She said holding me. Her horn glowed, then i did. "What are you doing?" I asked her. She was in total concentration. "Giving you the power to use magic." I suddenly felt power grow inside my heart, It soon went away. "You shall learn how to use your magic from my sister Luna." She instructed me. "Yes ma'am." I replied. Then Luna stepped in, she had a little blush on her face. "Hello Princess Luna I never got to tell you my na-" "It's Joshua Redders." She said back to me before I could finish talking. "How do you know I never told anyone my name except for Princess Celestia a little while ago?" I asked in confusion. She looked at me and said "I read your mind using a mind reading spell that's why you fainted yesterday." "Oh that reminds me Princess can we talk outside please?" I asked. She nodded and we walked to a little garden. I looked to make sure nopony was around. "Why was I naked in your bed Luna?" She imediatly blushed and looked down at the ground."I'm sorry I just wanted to wash your bloody clothes so you would look more friendly to other ponys." I understood and nodded, we then walked back in the castle. "But still you should've waited til I woke up. and you know i-" when I looked at her she was looking down ashamed and embarressed. "Hey its okay you just wanted to take care of me. nothing happened." I said to her reasuringly. She nodded and headed up to her royal chambers. After grabbing something to eat I went up the stairs, Celestia said I would get the guest room until further notice so i headed there.
