The music for this chapter

There are billions and billions of galaxies in this universe. One such galaxy is the Milky Way. It harbors many suns and planets. Planets of interest to this story would be Earth, the home world of the race of being known as Humans. On the other side of the galaxy is another interesting planet, Galiem (gal-lee-em). That planet harbors life known as Galien (gal-lee-ins). The third and last of the planets in this story is called Home by its inhabited life forms, a mix of many sentient beings, ponies, griffons, and many more. The three planets form a triangle. But we shall speak of this curious planet later, and focus on Galiem. Galiem is populated by the humanoid  sentient race of Galiens, and many races. There are five continents on the planet, but we will only name one, Zelrol (zel-roll). This continent has five nations, Foxtrot, Snowwood, Gandoriam, Woodfield, and Hargo. The birth of the nation Snowwood, a very important nation in this story, was one of revolution from Foxtrot. Ever since they have been at war with each other for many generations. Now, before we go any further, most of the nations' weaponry on Galiem is what the humans would call "Medieval". they also have guns from what the humans would call WWII, machine guns and tanks. Of course the gun weaponry is very expensive. One rifle would cost as much as a modern human house would, so they mostly rely on close-combat weapons. They are also space-faring. The nations of Zelrol made a law of honor that states no nation can kill civilians on purpose. When one would like to lay siege on a castle or town, the attackers MUST let the civilians evacuate safely before attacking. The people of Galiem are honorable, so most of the nations of the world have agreed to the pact. For thousands of years most of the nations fought this type of war against each other. Now before we advance to the next part of this story, let me state that there are two other planets in the system, one inhabited by a race of magic wielders. The other planet is inhabited by self-replicating robots. Now we can advance to the next part.

One day, the two planets went quiet. All communications suddenly stopped. The Galiens thought nothing of it at the time. Suddenly one of the town on the other continents was wiped out. The nations on Zelrol thought nothing of that, too. Then the capital of the troubled nation was wiped out. Soon the nations of the continent was wiped out, completely decimated.

Now the nations of Zelrol knew some thing was wrong. Very wrong. One by one the other continents fell silent until only Zelrol remained. Only one continent had some of its people evacuated to Zelrol. The remaining nations put their differences aside and held a council. They then saw the fleet. Thousands upon Thousands of space-faring ships clouded the sky. The invaders called them selves the Fearmongers. And so began a long, bloody war. Thousands of innocents were slaughtered without mercy. Cities and castles fell one by one until only the capital of Snowwood remained. Refugees and surviving soldiers of the remaining Galiens went to Castle Snowwood. Defeat and extinction seemed certain.

But there was one Galien who refused to give up hope.. His name was Lord John of Snowwood (most Galiens don't have last names). He rallied the remaining warriors and survivors to stand up one last time. They charged to meet the Fearmongers head-on.

They won the Battle of Snowwood Castle.

Slowly, but surely they pushed back the the Fearmongers. When victory was surely at hand, the Fearmongers suddenly left. All of the fled to space and was never heard from again for quite some time.

The remaining Galeins were left to pick up the pieces of the distruction.

And so this part of the story comes to a close, where we shall move onto the next part: Home, where the nation of Equestria is held.
