When Celestia banishes Luna to the moon, Lunar guards and supporters everywhere dub Celestia a tyrant and head off to make an empire of their own, dedicated to bringing back the "true leader of Equestria". When some Celestial guards attack a small convoy carrying some goods to the newly founded Lunar Empire, all hell breaks loose as the Empire declares war on Celestia. Will the Lunar Empire prove successful in taking over Equestria? Or will this "minor rebellion" be crushed by Celestia's soldiers?
