Train Station, Ponyville
Hoity and Trixie had their bags full of supplies and medicine and were ready to take the express train to the border of Minos. They trotted over to the ticket booth to purchase a couple of one way passes.
Hoity cleared his throat. “Excuse me my good stallion, but my companion and I wish to purchase two tickets to Minos.”
The Ticketmaster let out a whistle. “That sure is an exotic destination there mister. Can’t say I’ve had too many ponies going there. From what I hear Minos is a mighty dangerous place.”
“I assure you that I am well aware of the risks. As a matter of fact, I happen to do quite a bit of business with the Minotaurs.”
“Hey, I’m not here to question your taste in travel. I just thought you might want a warning.”
“I appreciate the sentiment. Now how many bits do I owe you?”
“Well, let’s see…two tickets are forty bits.”
Once they received their tickets, Hoity and Trixie made their way onto one of the passenger cars. While their cabin wasn’t exactly luxurious it was spacious and comfortable. Inside were two bunk beds that doubled as chair cushions when folded. Two shelves hung above the beds to house all of their belongings. Trixie levitated the gear onto the shelves and secured them using straps. Both ponies sat on the seats, tucking their legs underneath them to get more comfortable.
“I’m terribly sorry that the accommodations aren’t the finest Ms. Trixie. You must understand that very few trains even travel so far outside of Equestria, let alone luxury cars.”
“It’s alright; I’ve stayed in far worse places than this.”
“Oh…erm right I forgot about that. I do believe that they serve meals though.”
“Good, I’m starting to get hungry.”
“Yes all that hiking around Ponyville gave me quite the appetite. I’ll try and find a waiter and order us some lunch.”
Hoity found a waiter and ordered two bean burgers with a side of hay fries. Deciding to throw any notions of healthy cuisine out the window he ordered chocolate milkshakes as well. After about fifteen minutes the server arrived at their cabin, laden with delicious fatty foods. Trixie immediately started drooling, and practically accosted the poor server as she grabbed her burger. She happily gobbled down the hay fries, chugging them down with the chocolate milkshake.
Hoity grinned still sipping his milkshake. “Well, now it seems somepony was hungry!”
“Yep, I love bean burgers and hay fries. It’s the simple food that’s always the best.”
“Indeed. No matter how rich I’ve become or how many fancy foods I’ve eaten, I still think comfort food is the tastiest. You’re a mare after my own heart.”
“Mr. Toity, do you have any idea how long it will take to get there?”
“I’d say three days, give or take a few hours. The dig site is located in an extremely remote region of Minos, so I suspect it will take us an extra day to travel from the train station. Oh and by the way you can just call me Hoity, no more of this mister business…it makes me feel old.”
Trixie giggled. “If I can call you Hoity, then I insist you call me Trixie.”
Hoity shrugged. “Fair is fair, I suppose.”
Trixie yawned. “Ughhh…sorry I think I had too much to eat, I’m starting to get sleepy.”
“You might as well get some sleep; it’ll help pass the time dear.”
Before Hoity could say anything else, he heard soft snoring. Trixie was out like a light, sprawled across the seat cushion. He grinned, shaking his head. While watching the mare sleep, he was reminded suddenly of his own daughter. Hoity remembered that Daring used to fall asleep in the blink of an eye sometimes, despite her near boundless energy. He chuckled softly and began reading a book he had stowed in his backpack. Ten minutes later he heard Trixie scream in terror, as the mare awoke drenched in a cold sweat.
“Trixie what’s wrong? Did you have a nightmare?”
“I…it’s nothing, don’t worry about it.”
“No, my dear it is not simply nothing. You know you can talk to me about it, I promise I won’t laugh.”
“Ok but you have to promise me…it’s a sensitive subject.”
Hoity placed a hoof on her shoulder. “I promise. If your issue is serious enough to induce screaming within ten minutes of sleep, then it certainly can’t be a small problem.”
“I’ve always had nightmares because I’m afraid of being left alone.”
“Alone…whatever do you mean?”
“Even as a filly I had dreams of becoming the greatest stage performer in all Equestria. My parents loved me, but they also pushed me to become the best. It was hard living up to their expectations. My drive to succeed, coupled with the need to adopt a stage persona made me somewhat arrogant.”
“Ah I see, please continue.”
“My arrogance earned me…few friends. It was always difficult for me to make any because deep down I’m actually rather shy, so I would adopt my stage persona to make up for it. As the years went by I decided to become a traveling magician, but it was a lonely existence. I would rarely ever spend more than a week at any given town.”
“Reminds me of the days when I first started my clothing company. I always had long weeks, no free time and was constantly traveling.”
“What few friends I did have, didn’t seem to care enough to keep in touch with me. Eventually I became completely absorbed in my alter-ego; otherwise I couldn’t have continued…the depression would have eaten me alive. A few years ago I traveled to Ponyville and…”
“Trixie, we can stop talking about this if causes you too much pain.”
Trixie let out a shudder, tears moistening her eyes. “No, I need to let this out. Somepony needs to hear this.”
“I was just worried. We can keep talking so long as you’re able to continue.”
“There was an incident involving an ursa minor, it nearly wrecked the town. I couldn’t stop it, but Twilight Sparkle did. The townsponies blamed me for the incident and ran me out of town. For so long I was jealous of Twilight, I hated her Hoity. She had everything I ever wanted: friends, power, talent and love. The next year was a struggle for me, my thoughts were consumed with revenge and one day I came across an amulet that gave me extraordinary powers. It was the perfect opportunity to squelch Twilight once and for all.”
“So what did you do?”
“I took the amulet and went back to Ponyville, intent on challenging Twilight to a magic duel. As expected I was far more powerful than her, but it corrupted me. I did some terrible things to those poor ponies. After running Twilight out of town, she eventually came back and used a clever trick to defeat me. Once I removed the amulet, I realized how terrible I had been. Afterwards I traveled around trying to earn bits, through illusion shows…and that’s where you met me.”
“My word you’ve had such a harsh life. I didn’t even realize it. No wonder you seemed so broken when I first found you. Trixie…I’m so sorry.”
“I have nightmares from time to time about being abandoned. I just don’t want to be alone any more…you won’t abandon me either will you?”
Hoity patted the seat with his hoof. “Please, sit next to me.”
Trixie hesitated. “No, I couldn’t possibly…”
“Nonsense, now get your flank over here.”
Trixie gingerly sat next to Hoity, to find he had a gentle smile on his face. He placed both of his fore-hooves around her face and laid her head upon his lap, gently stroking her mane. Trixie began to blush at the sudden, but not unwanted display of physical intimacy. Silently she began to cry, while he stroked her mane.
“You know, I used to do this for Daring when she was still a filly. The poor thing came from an abusive family; the father was an alcoholic you see. She would cry at night sometimes and I would just hold her until she fell asleep. Sometimes all ponies need is the gentle touch of another, to feel like they are needed, to know that somepony cares for them.”
Trixie nuzzled his leg. “Thank you…you’re the first true friend I’ve ever had.”
“The pleasure is all mine dear. Now why don’t you get some more rest hmm?”
For the first time in her life, Trixie felt at peace. She was finally beginning to mend her shattered heart. As she began to close her eyes, the faint smell of roses mixed with a hint of sweat wafted into her nostrils. In the back of her mind she knew it must be Hoity’s scent. It was comforting…also enticing. With those thoughts she drifted off to sleep.
Manehatten, Equestria
Sweetie Belle slowly trotted up the stairs to her small apartment, after a hard day’s work. She went into the bathroom in order to take a shower and freshen herself up. Humming to herself she gazed into the mirror. The reflection that stared back at her was a white coated mare, with a beautifully styled purple and pink coiffure. It resembled her sister Rarity’s style but was quite a bit curlier. Plastered on her flank was a pair of masks. One was silver depicting a laughing face the other was purple depicting a sorrowful face. The masks were side by side, joined together by pink lace.
Sweetie twisted a knob allowing the soothing spray of hot water cascade down her body. She let out a sigh as she applied her favorite mango scented conditioner, recalling the day’s events. A few months ago she would have laughed if anypony had told her where she would be right now. It hadn’t really been much of a surprise to find out that she had a talent for singing, as well as acting. Rarity had been overjoyed to find out, and Sweetie remembered her sister’s tears of joy as though it had been yesterday. She was now part of the lead cast in a Trotway musical called Oatslahoma. Today had been a particularly tiring day, not that it was unpleasant, it just demanded one hundred and ten percent of her energy.
Sweetie got out of the shower and beginning to dry herself, when she heard a knock at the door. She used a spell to evaporate any remaining dampness in her coat and ran over to the door. Opening the door revealed a tall, armor clad, white pegasus mare. Sweetie gulped, wondering what could possibly make the royal guard come to her apartment. Maybe she was under arrest, or maybe something happened to her sister? She immediately began to panic. The guard noticed her distress and tried to look as composed as possible.
“Excuse me miss but may I come in for a minute?”
“Oh…umm sure I guess. Do you have anything to tell me? Is it bad news? It doesn’t have to do with my sister does it?”
The guard put a hoof up to Sweetie’s mouth. “I assure you miss, I bear only good news. Everything is fine.”
Sweetie huffed a sigh of relief. “Thank Celestia! I thought something bad happened.”
The guard mare removed her helmet, thus dispelling the coloring enchantment. The mare before Sweetie Belle was an orange coated pegasus with a long scruffy purple mane. It was much like Rainbow Dash’s mane style but much longer.
“Heya Sweets did ya miss me?”
Sweetie Belle tackled the pegasus onto the ground in a forceful hug. “Oh my gosh, Scooty it’s so good to see you!”
Scootaloo chuckled. “Long time no see huh?”
“Yeah I’ll say. You haven’t written to me in a month!” Sweetie Belle said with a pout.
“Sorry about that, but you know how hard it is with all the guard training. By the way, in case you haven’t noticed I passed the trials. I’m officially part of the 302nd airborne division.”
Sweetie nuzzled her cheek. “Congratulations, that’s so awesome!”
“The training was a bitch, but once I got past basic everything was downhill from there. Take a look at my cutie mark.”
Sweetie took a look at her fillyfriend’s flank. Sure enough there was a large purple lightning bolt with a yellow cloud above it. Crisscrossing the cloud were orange streaks. While Applebloom and Sweetie had gotten their cutie marks about three months ago, Scootaloo still had yet to earn hers. It was a point of contention for the pegasus mare, but whenever she felt down about it, Sweetie was there to cheer her up.
“So what exactly does it mean?”
“I found out that I’m pretty good with manipulating weather, so much so that I can weaponize it. The guard found out and decided to put me on one of the airborne weather squads. I still can’t fly very fast but my wings grew quite a bit from the training so I’m more of an endurance flier.”
“I’m so happy for you Scooty, but if you don’t mind I have a favor to ask.”
“Sure, anything you want Sweets.”
“My performance is in two week and I’d be really grateful if you could come.”
“Think nothing of it. I wouldn’t miss it for all the bits in Equestria.”
“Good, I’ll get you a seat in the first row!”
“Sweetie Belle, I’m really sorry that I haven’t been around much lately. I’ve been a terrible marefriend, never being there for you. Training has been so time-consuming as of late and…”
Scootaloo was interrupted by a pair of soft white lips, as Sweetie gave her a gentle kiss. The guard mare slumped to the ground, her entire train of thought derailed. Once she got over the shock, Sweetie caressed her cheek with her hoof.
“I know and I’ve been busy too. We’ve known each other for years now Scootaloo. A month of separation isn’t going to change my feelings for you. You know…I have been feeling rather lonely. Maybe a big, strong guard could sweep me off my hooves…”
Scootaloo grinned. “I might just be able to help you with that miss.”
“Before we do anything Scooty, there’s a spell I’d like to try out.”
“What kinda spell are we talking about?”
Sweetie shuffled her hooves. “It’s sort of an obscure one, one that Princess Luna taught me.”
“The princess taught it to you? Isn’t your sister pretty good with magic, why didn’t she teach it to you?”
“The spell is well…it’s…a bit embarrassing, and intimate.”
“But not embarrassing enough to go to one of the monarchs of Equestria.”
“P-princess Luna knows…things, naughty…things.”
Scootaloo laughed. “Well duh, she’s the mistress of the night everypony knows that!”
“Just p-promise me you won’t laugh.”
“Fine, I won’t guard’s honor.”
Sweetie Belle’s horn ignited in a pink aura, as it began to envelop her entire body. She levitated about half a meter off the floor, as a strange sent filled the room. It was not entirely unpleasant but it reminded Scootaloo of what the barracks smelled like but mixed with an indescribable fruity undertone. It could only be described as Sweetie’s scent, but somehow…different. A bright pink flash brightened the room as Sweetie gently floated to the ground. She looked up at Scootaloo with a slightly embarrassed expression.
“Was that spell you were talking about? Other than making the room smell a little, I don’t see any difference. What’s so embarrassing about that?”
Sweetie shifted her legs slightly. “Oh…well yes the smell has to do with the…transformation.”
“Transformation…what the hay are you talking about?”
Rather than say anything else, Sweetie gingerly opened up her legs, allowing Scootaloo to have a good look. Scootaloo nearly gasped at the sight that greeted her. Sweetie had managed to give herself a fully grown, anatomically accurate stallion-hood. It stood at full mast in all of its pearly white glory. Scootaloo approached the throbbing appendage slowly massaging the shaft. Sweetie moaned quietly at the ministrations.
“I have to say Sweets, it’s quite impressive, and it seems to be just as sensitive as the real thing.”
Sweetie blushed. “S-so do you like it?”
Scootaloo kissed the head. “I love it. Just for the record, I’m really glad you decided to do this, love ya Sweets.”
Sweetie grabbed her lover and planted a deep kiss upon her lips. “I was afraid you would hate it, since you don’t like stallions very much.”
“Maybe…but it isn’t a stallion I’m with right now.”
Lowering her head, Scootaloo kissed Sweetie’s balls eliciting a high pitched squeak. Sweetie in turn started to nibble the base of Scootaloo’s left wing. The pegasus shuddered in delight, concentrating on Sweetie’s chest instead. She found two perky nipples to greet her, she suckled on one letting go of it a few seconds later with a slight pop. Sweetie Belle’s near white coat did little to conceal her flushed skin, when Scootaloo began to rub her own chest against it. Scootaloo sighed in delight, noticing how soft her lover’s coat was; after all she had just gotten out of the shower.
Sweetie positioned herself so she was underneath her lover’s marehood, while Scootaloo started sucking her cock. Sweetie stuck out her tongue and swirled it in a circles inside Scootaloo’s tight folds. Scootaloo gasped hard, her legs beginning to shake as the electric wave of an orgasm hit her full force. She bucked her hips towards Sweetie’s face as a warm stream of cum was released.
Sweetie savored the taste of her lover as she nibbled Scootaloo’s clit. Scootaloo, feeling nearly exhausted but wanting to satisfy her mare, increased the pace of her ministrations. She was rewarded when she felt Sweetie’s head begin to flare. With a primal cry of ecstasy Sweetie unloaded herself into Scootaloo’s mouth. Scootaloo pulled away with a satisfied swallow, enjoying the cum’s slightly fruity taste.
“Sweets…that was amazing.”
“I’m glad you enjoyed it, but umm...I still have a bit of a problem.”
“What are you talking about?”
“The enchantment sort of makes me have more stamina than normal. So if it’s ok with you can we have another go?”
“Ha! Sure thing Sweets, I haven’t gotten any tail in over a month so I’m pent up anyway.”
Sweetie Belle levitated Scootaloo in the air and flipped her over onto the bed. The unicorn propped herself up, placing weight onto her legs. She caressed Scootaloo’s flank with one hoof while gently tugging on her tail with the other. This action served to relax the pegasus for what Sweetie was about to do.
“Scooty are you ready?”
Instead of a verbal reply, Scootaloo lifted her tail and shifted her rump towards Sweetie. The guard mare then gave a wink. Sweetie grabbed hold of her magically endowed shaft, sliding it in gently as not to hurt her marefriend. Scootlaoo was already plenty wet, thus making the process less painful. Sweetie began to thrust back and forth at a mechanical pace, leading gently and finishing off with more force.
Princess Luna had been the one to teach Sweetie the basics of penetration. At first she was shocked and embarrassed to be learning the finer points of magically enhanced sex, but Luna had been very understanding throughout the entire ordeal. To say that the unicorn had been clumsy during her first attempts with her new appendage was a vast understatement. The princess herself had used her own magical appendage on Sweetie, both as a means of instruction and pleasure as well. In the end Sweetie Belle hadn’t regretted it, noticing the warm smile on Scootaloo’s face.
Sweetie could feel the muscular walls of her lover, tightening around her. She too was very close to climaxing. With one final thrust she gave Scootaloo all she had, both of their bodies shuddered with pleasure as they reached a mutual orgasm. They pulled away from each other slowly, panting from the exertion. Sweetie wrapped her arms around the pegasus snuggling her soft, orange coat. They shared a light, but heartfelt kiss before falling asleep. Never had the both of them felt so connected, so loved.
Mintaka, Capitol City of Minos
The train heaved into the station with a hiss of steam, grinding its wheels to a stop. The resulting noises woke Trixie up from her slumber. She found that she was still laying on Hoity’s lap, but the stallion himself was quietly reading a book. Trixie grinned sheepishly, pulling her head away from his lap. Hoity merely shook his head, letting out a soft chuckle.
“Good morning Trixie, I take it you slept well?”
“Oh…well yes I did in fact. About last night, I hope what I did wasn’t inappropriate.”
“In my opinion, what you did was a long overdue. You just needed a friend to offer you some comfort, and there is nothing wrong with that. It’s good that you’re awake, we’ve arrived in Mintaka.”
“Mintaka?”
“Yes, it’s the capitol of the newly formed UTR. Most ponies still call it Minos.”
“What in the hay is the UTR, and why haven’t I ever heard of it?”
Hoity face-hoofed. “Ah right, my mistake you’re not familiar with foreign affairs. The UTR stands for the Union of Taurian Republics. Minos used to be a divided country, ruled by collection of competing city-states. Just recently a general from one of the larger states led a coup d'état against his prince and decided to go to war, placing the rest of the states under his rule. Needless to say he was successful.”
“So what exactly is this general, is he like a prince or something?”
“Oh heavens no, from what I heard he’s some sort of chairman. He implemented a new kind of governing style…I believe it was called communism. If you don’t count the Diamond Republic, then most of the nations on this planet are monarchies. I don’t believe Princess Celestia has officially sent over an envoy yet. I fear it may be because she doesn’t trust this new government.”
“Why would Celestia or anypony else be afraid of them?”
“It’s the ideology they’re afraid of Trixie. Communism is a form of government that gives most of its political power to the citizens, not the ruling elite. It essentially abolishes class distinctions. If any of the other nations got wind of it, then I fear there may be either civil war or rebellion.”
“I don’t know Hoity, that doesn’t seem so bad to me.”
“Yes, perhaps it doesn’t in theory but I suspect it is very different in practice.”
As the duo stepped off of the train they were met by a large, black coated minotaur wearing a light gray military uniform. His hair was equally as black but was cropped near to the skull. Two guards carrying rifles accompanied him on both sides. The minotaur waved to Hoity as he approached.
“Greetings Mr. Toity, Chairman Silverhide sends his regards. My name is Colonel Tyco, and I am the official military attaché who will be accompanying you to the dig site.”
Hoity extended his hoof. “A pleasure to meet you sir. Now, how may I ask are we going to get to the dig site?”
Tyco laughed. “By car of course!”
Tyco motioned to a strange black colored craft that was sitting near the station. It appeared to be made of stamped metal, with rivets holding it together. The top was open to the air, but it seemed to have a retractable roof. What appeared to be three train wheels adorned both sides, connected together by a metallic tread. The two guards opened the side doors, allowing Trixie and Hoity to sit inside. Tyco sat next to the driver.
Hoity touched the door. “My word Colonel, I’ve never seen such a contraption.”
“She’s the pinnacle of Taurian technology Mr. Toity. The engine runs on pure steam, it has a water tank in the back. It’s great for traveling over long distances and rough terrain.”
Trixie nudged Hoity. “What are those strange sticks they’re carrying?”
“I believe those are called rifles. Some kind of projectile weapon, almost like a crossbow. It fires a metal slug, propelled by a small explosion. Quite ingenious if I do say so myself.”
“Why would they need to make something like that?”
“You see Trixie; minotaurs can’t harness magic so they’ve had to rely on wit alone to accomplish their needs. Also, they’ve been a somewhat isolated nation over the centuries so it was natural that they developed their technology independently.”
“You two should get comfortable; it will take us several hours to reach the site.”
