Episode 17: Rarity on the Daily Show

While Rarity was being interviewed by Jon, the usual amount of ponies back in Equestria were glued to their television sets watching the interview episode unfold. With some more invested in her performance than others.

However there was one pony in particular that wasn’t watching the show, despite the fact that she never missed an episode. Today was different as this pony was busy working with some nurses and doctors at a local hospital break room, trying to ascertain what the symptoms of a patient meant in terms of a diagnosis.

Walls of medical books surrounded the desk of this pony as she tirelessly went through research log after research log, even after the show had ended. Eventually she found something that caught her eye; something which shocked and horrified her.

“Oh no.” She said as she turned to call out to some nearby ponies. “Doctor... would you please come here?”

“Yes your majesty?” A white haired pony said. “This about patient 8-12?”

“I’m afraid so... come, look at this.” She said showing the doctor a page from a book she’d been reading.”

“O-oh... oh dear.” The doctor said. “A-are you sure?”

“I am positive.” She said as she got up to approach a nearby guard on duty. “Guard, please send word for I am not to be disturbed for the next hour... I need to prep a patient.”

“Yes your majesty.” The guards on duty said before scampering away.

“What will you do, Princess?” The doctor asked.

“I... I need to make a phone call.” She said as he used her magic to send an outgoing call. The ringing was longer the usual but as always someone answered. “Hello Jon.... Yes, it’s me, Celestia... listen I think you need to come to the castle... it’s about Trixie.”
