Trixie gave out a sigh as she bit into her sandwich. It had been about a month since she was showed up by that Twilight Sparkle. She frowned and clenched her teeth, just thinking about it ruined her appetite. In a glance that looked like an insult towards the sandwich, Trixie tossed it angrily to the ground. "Stupid Sparkle. Making Trixie look like a fool in front of anypony." She let out a sigh. She hadn't been able to work anywhere without rumors of her failure popping up. Her reputation as a show pony had been tarnished.
She stamped in the ground as she threw a complete fit, jumping up and down, even throwing her hat and stamping on it until she was completely red in the face. She had to find some way to get her back.
As Trixie pondered how she would accomplish such a thing, she heard a sudden thud come from atop her caravan. There came a voice only moments after. "So, one of those stupid ponies made you look stupid too huh?" Trixie turned to see who could have landed on her caravan without her noticing. A griffon, with purple feathers circling her eyes was staring down at the mare.
"And who might you be?" Trixie questioned.
"Just a girl, shunned out of Ponyville. Sound familiar?" The griffon replied.
Trixie, returned her hat to her head. "Right. And why should Trixie care for your problems?"
The griffon shrugged. "Psh. Because they're apparently your problem too."
Trixie scoffed and turned her head, mainly to avoid letting the griffon see her blush in embarrassment. "The Great and Powerful Trixie has no problems."
"Riiiiight. That's why I just saw you throwing a tantrum just a moment ago. Isn't it?"
Trixie, kept her head turned as her face turned even more red. "Trixie was just... attempting to kill a spider. That was all."
"Look, drop the act Twinkie, I know what I heard, and I know you want back at those ponies in Ponyville."
"It's, TRIXIE." The blue mare, faced the griffon again, scowling. "And what do YOU plan to do about it?"
The griffon held up one of her claws and prepared to answer, but stopped herself. "Uh..."
"That's what Trixie thought." She let out a sigh. "So, not that Trixie cares, but what is your name?"
The griffon, just sat there on the caravan for a while. "...Gilda."
"Well, Gilda... do you plan on leaving Trixie? Or are you going to stay and leave scratches in her caravan?" Trixie flipped her mane.
Gilda gave a snort. "Yeah yeah yeah, you don't seem to have anything interesting to talk about anyway. I'll be getting outta yer-" Before she could finish, Gilda and Trixie turned their attention to what sounded like a train heading in their direction, but there weren't any tracks nearby. "What the?"
It was a vehicle, looking like the front of a train with all sorts of gizmos and doo-dads attached all over the place. It hooted and whistled as it rolled up next to Trixie's caravan. Two cream colored unicorns sat on the contraption, with defeated faces. "Who are these clowns?" Trixie wondered.
"You two don't happen to know the way to Fillydelphia do you?" One of the unicorns asked in a monotone voice. This one had a well groomed mustache.
"Hold on brother, isn't that the Trixie character that was laughed out of Ponyville?" The other unicorn jumped up pointing a hoof towards Trixie.
"Why, I believe it is Flim!" The mustachioed unicorn replied.
Trixie could feel her face reddening from embarrassment and anger.
"Boy, Flam, I don't think even we screwed up as badly as this one."
By this point Trixie was positively purple with rage.
The mustached brother's face fell. "Don't kid yourself brother. The way that Applejack and her family showed us up, there's no way we can ever go back there."
Trixie turned around to scream, but upon hearing this bit of dialogue, she stopped with her jaw hanging open. "Wait. You two have issues with the ponies in Ponyville too?"
The brothers looked at one another before nodding their heads, looking quite ashamed of themselves. The show mare, put a hoof to her chin in thought. "Well, aren't we all a group of brilliant fuck-ups." Gilda chuckled out sarcastically. "Let's all make T-shirts and start a club eh? Hell we could use those dogs I met earlier today as mascots huh? They say they kidnapped the whiny bitchy one to dig for them, but she turned everything around on them just by screeching enough." Gilda started cracking up. "Well at least we know we won't be as pathetic as them right?"
The gears in Trixie's head started turning. "Gilda... You may be on to something... Take Trixie to these dogs you were talking about."
Gilda didn't look like she appreciated being told what to do, but she shrugged. "Why not? Not like I got anything better to do today."
Trixie smiled. "Flim and Flam was it? You may want to follow behind Trixie, she has a brilliant idea brewing."
It was only a few minutes before Gilda pointed three dogs out to Trixie who was riding on the brother's Super Cider Squeezy. "Yoohoo! Diamond Dogs!" Trixie called out, gathering their attention.
"Oh no, not more ponies!" One of them cried out. The three turned and began to run before they realized they were being held in place by the three unicorns.
"Now now now. While it is of course logical to fear The Great and Powerful Trixie, you don't need to. For you see, Trixie is offering... a partnership."
The dogs stopped trying to run and turned back questioningly. "Partner? With pony? Why would dogs partner with pony? Especially after what happened with Miss Rarity?"
"Why, that's precisely WHY you should partner with us. The four of us have been wronged by the Ponyvillians as well you see. Each of us humiliated and thrown out. So Trixie thought, perhaps, you would like to join us and earn yourselves a little payback on 'Miss Rarity,' as you call her."
The dogs paused, then put their arms over each other's shoulders, whispering to one another. When they had come to an agreement, they all nodded their heads. "One thing. Is pony sure team up will work? Dogs could not stop ponies, ponies could not stop ponies, and even griffon could not stop ponies."
"True, but, we wouldn't just be a griffon, or dogs, or ponies would we?" Trixie grinned almost evilly. The dogs seemed satisfied.
"Dogs will take revenge against Miss Ra-, no, the whiny pony." The three of them held their paws out one on top of the other.
"I'll get back at Dash, and her stupid pink friend." Gilda growled as she put a talon in with agreement.
"Flam and I can finally give Applejack a taste of her own cider." Flim chuckled as he and his brother joined their hooves to the union.
"And Trixie will finally show Twilight Sparkle who the best unicorn truly is." Trixie's hoof took the top as the whole gathering of misfits smiled at one another. "We will have our retribution!"
