Monsters, Cursed, Criminals, Rouges and Murderers. These are the titles that the scares few Equestrians that know of Shamans would give to the them. In Equestrian history they have always been seen as an agent of chaos, a monster taking the form of a mare or even a cautionary tale of what happens when someone abuses power. They have always been seen as a myth told to scare kids. But what happens when a scarred vagabond from Altai emerges from the Everfree Forest, someone with a deep seated hate for the ponies around him? Most of the towns residents merely see him as an alcoholic racist who's been out of touch with the real world. But some of them sense that there may be more to what he lets on.

Chapter 1: Void of broken memories(Rewritten)

Black, empty, cold. These would be the best words to describe this void. Darkness as far as my eyes could see, this was'int strange for me, oh no, In fact it would be weird if I wasint here. There was no up, no down, no left, right or behind. All I could do was walk forward. If I strayed from my invisible path I would be lost and have to find my way back, quiet the challenge given the place I'm in. As I walked down the lonely road I started to get the feeling I was being watched. I wasint scared of what ever was watching me, nothing can hurt me if I stay on my path.

It could of being minutes, hours or even years since i started walking, time seems to be irrelevant here, but eventually I started to hear them, those fucking voices. It started as whispers in the distance, could be mistaken for the wind if there was any, but I've being here so many times to know the sound.

"Oh hey! I haven't seen you for a while!"said a cheery voice, it sounded like it could have being coming from anywhere but I ignored it, I got to keep moving.

"Hi Ec-" the voice was suddenly interrupted by a screeching noise. Now I was trotting, the voices always reminded me of days I would rather forget. Soon silhouettes started appearing, dark, twisted, smoky silhouettes of the many ponies I've meet in my long life time, the ponies I would never forget. The ponies I've seen born, the ponies I've seen die and those I've wronged. Now I was running, I got to get the hell out of here.

"Hey! were are you going Ec- ?"

"Ec- please stay!"

The voices keep ringing in my ears as I ran. They always begged me to stay, to listen, but I can't it would only hurt me. As I ran the silhouettes started to gather. Instead of a few strays wandering the void they were now just standing there in groups, large groups. All they did was stare at me, look at me, judge me, hate me.

"I need to talk to you, its about- "

As I heard this voice, I stopped for a second, a cold sweat running down my spine.No,no,no,no,no,no,no! I NEED to run! no im not staying here, got to stay on the path. I can't stay.

"What about her?" this voice was different, it was a familiar voice, both mine and not mine. I wasint talking though, it was the void.

"I fear-he hates me, hates everyone, your the only one she trusts, I implore you Ec-, help her."

Now I was sprinting. Soon images were appearing, showing the high points in my life: Graduation, My first flight...Her...NO! I NEED to run! I NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE!

"Thank you Ec-! you saved him! I don't know what would have happening if you-why!? why?! NO! please stop! GET AWAY FROM ME!" screamed a childish voice full of fear.

Then the screaming started. All I could hear was screaming. The screaming that you hear at night, the blood curdling type, the type that haunts you, the type that you hear when you close your eyes. The screaming of the broken. Soon the silhouettes were every where, but they weren't the same. Instead of a normal body, they were twisted in every sense of the word. Mangled limbs, blood sprayed over them, and some didn't even have any limbs, but they all had one thing in common. They were all laughing at me with those sick smiles on there faces. Soon the pictures of my life that changed to the worst things I've seen, the worst things I've done.

"Get out of my way ! Don't make this any harder for me!." said an all to familiar voice.**

"NO! I won't let you hurt her! I can still save her!" Said a voice whiched seemed to echo in this void.

"...Very well, you leave me to choice...."

Then a pain overtook my body. It felt like my bones were snapping under the pressure of a boulder, it felt like my skin was being burned off, it felt like a nail was being driving through my eye. I collapsed on the ground, I couldn't move, the pain was too great. As if on cue the silhouettes were all around me, laughing at me, taunting me. What was once a crowd was now a horde. Soon all I could hear was screeching, screaming and laughter as the last happy moments in my life, the last beacons of hope I had where destroyed before my eyes only to be replaced with my lowest hour, the one moment of my life that changed everything.

"NO! please stop!" He yelled in protest but alas, she didn't listen.

"I em sorry but I must do this. It brings me no joy in doing this... I hope you find peace in eternal solitude."

I lay there watching the worst moment of my life, the saddest and most painful moment of my life.

"NO! please stop!"

I watched myself try to stop her as she started charging her spell, but the pain keep me on the ground. Soon the laughter became to much.

"SHUT UP! JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP PLEASE!!" I screamed at the silhouettes with tears falling from my now blood shot red eyes. Then they stopped, they just stopped at stared at me, everything went quite, no noise, no screaming, no laughter. Just...nothing.

Then the screaming started. But not from the void, from Him. As I watched the spell finally hit climax, it shot right out and hit Him point blank, His scream got worse every time I was forced to listen to it. Aldo I may forget everything else in my life, His scream will always haunt me. I felt so alone, so scared, so weak and so helpless. Then I started screaming. Not as a voice created by the void, but as myself. I just watched and screamed...

All I could do was scream...
