//-------------------------------------------------------// The innocent Evil -by ScottishPony- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Queen Chrysalis //-------------------------------------------------------// Queen Chrysalis Like King Sombra, Queen Chrysalis was also quite innocent, but she is bullies a lot because of the way she looks. She sits alone at her table in nursery, and gets hit by paper balls other fillies throw at her. Discord is one of the most popular ones in nursery because of his powers, but he is the only one to feel sympathetic about Queen Chrysalis. Well, let’s get on with it… Chrysalis walked slowly down the corridors of the nursery, and fillies nearby giggle and point at her. Her tiny insect wings buzz every few minutes, and it turns the other fillies’ giggles into uncontrollable fits of laughter. Chrysalis turned to one filly and narrowed her eyes into slits, and the filly shrank back. Chrysalis finally walked into the daylight and walked over to Discord. The fillies around him make rude remarks about her and laughed. “C’mon guys, stop the petty insults.” spoke Discord in my defence. Instantly that laughing and the name-calling ceased, although the odd whisper broke out. “Thanks, Discord…” I murmured to him. “My pleasure!” he said charmingly and bowed, and it made Chrysalis blush slightly. After that, Chrysalis walked over to a skipping rope and lifted it up with the small bit of magic she had. Once she was skipping on the spot, the biggest, meanest filly walked over, pushed Chrysalis over and hit her with the skipping rope. “Hey!” Chrysalis cried out, and then Discord walked over. “What do you think you’re doing?!” demanded Discord. The filly stammered uselessly, and then Discord used his minute level of magic to make his face covered in makeup and every-filly laughed at him. Chrysalis even giggled too. “Thanks again Discord!” I murmured gratefully to Discord. My leg throbbed in pain after getting whipped by the rope, and it made a neat little red line right across it. And apparently, the fillies found this oh so very amusing. “Weak-ling, weak-ling, she is not a change-ling, she’s a weak-ling, weak-ling!!” all the fillies mocked and chanted, and a tear rolled down Chrysalis’s face. But crying only made the mocking and laughing increase in volume until, Chrysalis screamed out with anger, “YOU’RE CALLING ME WEAK!!!” It was so loud echoes could be heard in the distance, and the flies were stunned so much they were frozen in place. The anger turned into sadness as tears fell from her face again and she ran back into the nursery building… //-------------------------------------------------------// Discord //-------------------------------------------------------// Discord Discord as you know is chaotic, but what if he did that because he was suffering from depression, and wants others to smile, but takes it too far? Well, let’s have a look at when he was in the nursery. Discord stood alone with the other fillies pelting questions like, “How are you not a pony?” “Why are you here?” “What are you?” Discord put up his lion paw to silence them. “I am a draconequus.” Discord spoke calmly, “I am here to bring a bit of happiness into your life.” Discord looked over to Chrysalis being taunted. He pushed aside fillies in his road and he walked up to Chrysalis and pulled aside the fillies around her. “If you’re not friends with Chrysalis, then you’re not friends with me!” hissed Discord. “She looks weird though!” yelled a filly back. “Oh, and I don’t look weird either?” spat Discord in reply. They looked at the ground and pawed at it with his hoof. Discord clicked his eagle claw and a bird nearby turned into a huge phoenix. It flew over their heads, and lit up the filly’s mane. “Come on Chrysalis, let’s not hang with these losers!” said Discord. When the bell rang and they went into the classroom, they were told to talk about cutiemarks. “Ha, ha, Discord and Chrysalis have no cutiemark, weirdoes! Useless weirdoes!” chanted the class. Discord spread out his daemon and angel wing. “I have something you don’t, pretty little ponies” purred Discord angrily. “And what would that be?” a filly called out. “Power…” Discord hissed then clicked his claw and the room curved out and changed into neon colours. The class looked around wide eyes, but the only one who wasn’t frightened, was Chrysalis. “He heh, nice one Discord!” shouted Chrysalis through fits of laughter. Suddenly, the bell cut the silence, and all the fillies ran out of the discorded room. But Chrysalis and Discord walked out together. //-------------------------------------------------------// King Sombra //-------------------------------------------------------// King Sombra It has been years after nursery, about 4 to be exact. They are now in what you call, ‘Primary 3’. So let’s pick out this certain day, where Sombra learns his first spell, other than the black gems! Sombra looked at the mirror at his home and made his horn glow. Sweat poured from his face as he used all the power he could to try and cast a levitation spell. The mirror in front of him finally had a deep-black aura around it and he focused more and it went from one milometer off the ground, to about an inch. He focused even harder and some objects around him levitated too. He opened his eyes and saw everything levitation, then a huge smile came up on his face, but then everything dropped. “Aaw!” Sombra moaned sadly as he kicked at pillow, “Only one way to fix this try agai-” “Time for school!” called Sombra’s mother, “Don’t want to be late now, do you?” “Coming!” Sombra called back and got his bag on. His mother smiled radiantly, as Sombra came down. His eyes lit up eagerly as he approached his mother. “I did my first spell mummy!” Sombra shouted ecstatically after a few moments, “It was a levitating spell! It was so cool ‘cos I was… was, like, levitating loads of objects and… and… it was so cool!” “That’s nice honey.” replied his mother. Sombra jumped around his mother, and his mother bent down and picked him up. “Come on now, you don’t want to be late, so you can tell your friends all about it!” his mother said, spreading her long, black wings around him for safety. The walk was quite short, as the school wasn’t very far away from his home. On the way there, Sombra spotted Luna walking with Celestia. Sombra hopped over his mother’s wings and dashed over to Luna. “Hi Luna!” Sombra said excitedly. “Oh, hi Sombra!” said Celestia, a lot kinder than in nursery, “I haven’t seen you in ages.” Celestia smiled radiantly, and Luna smiled back. Celestia suddenly leapt into the air, flapping her wings furiously as she tried to get airborne. “Uh! I can never get these dumb wings to flap properly.” Celestia moaned. “I learned a new spell this morning!” Sombra said with a grin stretching across his muzzle, “I learned how to levitate! All… By… My… Self!” Luna’s eyes widened in awe and Celestia’s mouth dropped open once the words left my mouth. Sombra tilted my head slightly as their awed eyes turned into fear. “W-what’s wrong?” Sombra asked, fear creeping into his soul, and then, “Is it something on my face?” Both of them nodded with horror streaked across their faces. He poked his face with his hoof until he touched around his face, then he felt around his eye. There was something odd, something… strange. Celestia went into her bag and took out her mirror. Sombra looked into the mirror and saw deep-purple stuff flowing out the furthest corners of his eye. It looked a lot like mascara, but a lot more devilish. It glowed slightly as well. “Do any of you know what happened?!” cried Sombra. Luna shook her head, and Celestia turned away and put her mirror away. “Why are you so quiet Luna?” I asked curiously. “Our… grandmother died recently…” Celestia murmured mournfully. Sombra’s heart cracked in half for them, loosing someone must have been very hard for her, since she is so young. “She can hardly get over the death of our old gerbil Sammy.” Celestia choked out. Tears fell down Luna’s face as they continued to walk, but it was only when she sniffled, did we notice her crying. Celestia put her forelegs around her and tried to calm her, but It made her even more sad. “I… just… want… grandma… back…” Luna sobbed through her tears. Sombra’s heart broke again, so he turned away and continued ahead for about one meter, and then waited for them. Once they were walking again, Sombra touched his muzzle against Luna’s neck to calm her slightly. It worked, and she stopped crying. They soon arrived at the school just as the bell rang. Sombra’s ‘evil mascara’ flowed gently in the breeze. “Luna shouldn’t be here, she should be at her home trying to get over this…” Sombra said quietly. Celestia nodded, and then turned to Luna. “Do you want to go home, Luna?” Celestia gently spoke. Luna nodded her shaky head and Celestia turned round and guided Luna back. “Tell Mrs Nightlight that our grandmother died, and we can’t come in today.” Celestia called back. Sombra walked in and told Mrs Nightlight, then the long, boring day began… //-------------------------------------------------------// Queen Chrysalis //-------------------------------------------------------// Queen Chrysalis Now, let’s catch up with Chrisie, since she shouted, but then again, it’s had been about 4 years, but oh well… Let’s still have a look, eh?  You have no choice in the matter, but oh well, I got your hopes up! Chrysalis walked carefully along the corridors of the schoolhouse. Every group of excited ponies she passed fell silent with fear, still remembering what she had done, many, many years ago. She could hardly remember it. Chrysalis stepped out into the playground, and instantly spotted Discord, sauntering towards her. A smile was instantly drawn across her short muzzle. Discord drew his lion paw along her fine, fine mane. “Still, your beautiful mane hasn’t changed a bit…” Discord admired. Chrysalis blushed slightly, but under her exoskeleton, it was impossible to see. Discord looked to his left, then right, and then put out his eagle talon, and I was a small, chocolate muffin. Chrysalis was always bullied and was forcefully getting her money stolen off her, and therefor left to starve at lunchtimes. Chrysalis put her green magic around it, and took it gratefully from his talon. “Thank you so much Discord I-” Chrysalis was crying this out, but was stopped by one of the bigger bullies. “I do believe that is our muffin, in case you want to keep your little magic horn!” he hissed, towering over her. She was about to give it to him, when she remembered. Unicorn horns are almost unbreakable! She pulled the muffin back and stuck her tongue out. She gobbled it up in a few quick bites, letting the sugar course through her body, giving her tired limbs strength again. The bully growled and stood over her, blowing air, like a bull. Chrysalis fluttered her little insect wings and made herself look taller than him. He instantly shrank back. She landed again once the bully had run away. The loud, noisy bell chimed, showing that lunch was over. The last remaining hours of the school day flew past, and soon Chrysalis was at her home. She looked down at three letters. “Foals-R-Us toy catalogue, Silver gems jewellery, and Gypsy Express?” the last letter was sent to her, she opened the letter once she put down the others on the table. “Dear Queen Chrysalis, I am regretfully sorry about harming your subjects. Please find it in your heart to forgive me, although it was funny blasting them with party-cannons. Again, sorry for harming them. Yours, most regretfully, Pinkie Pie.” O…kay? Chrysalis had not the slightest clue what the pony was talking about. But there were myths that gypsies had their own magic, and are usually earth ponies. The myth went that gypsies could manipulate time with a magical brew. Chrysalis leaned back, thinking about how hard it might have been to make that brew, just to send a letter. “Hmm… Maybe I could become a gypsy!” Chrysalis thought aloud, “No… it takes years of practice, and the power is blessed from birth. At least how the myth goes…” Chrysalis trotted upstairs and started doing her homework. ‘2+3= 11x4= 5+9= 8-5= 6x4= 3-2= 5x9=’ Chrysalis sat and stared at the page blankly, not paying much attention to the numbers on it. Her mind was set on that letter. What did that mean, it confused her further by it saying ‘QUEEN Chrysalis’, she was no queen. Well, as far as she knew, she wasn’t a queen, although her parents treated her like one. “Are you nearly done your homework?” called Chrysalis’s mother, “Once you’re done, I’d like it if you could just go on a little trot around the house looking for cups to clean!” “Ok, mum!” Chrysalis called back. Soon she actually did her maths and put it in her saddlebag. No matter what she thought of (via cats, dogs, or animals in general), kept trailing somehow, back to that letter somehow. She went downstairs again, with a few cups within her magical grasp. “Mum, mum, where are you?” Chrysalis called, but no reply, “Mum, your scaring me!” Chrysalis turned the corner, and there was a short alleyway next to her little cottage. She walked along there, only to stand in horror, as her father held a bloody knife, and her mother lay dead in the alleyway behind him. “NO!” cried Chrysalis, “NO, NO, NO, NO, NOO!” Her mother’s last deed, was toss the crown to her. Her last words were; “Bring better hope to changelings…” and with that, she fell limp. Chrysalis grasped the crown and placed it on her head. She felt like a boulder was dropped on it. So much more power hit her. It flowed through her shocked muscles, feeding the anger and hatred. Her horn sparked, as the grudge instantly formed. She blasted a huge beam of light, which killed her father instantly. She ran over to the dead corpse of her mother, and cried. Pools of tears formed below as her broken heart throbbed. She felt the soft paw of a lion on her shoulder as she sobbed. She looked up to see the kind face of Discord. Tears rolled down her face as she hugged Discord tightly. “What am I going to do now?” Chrysalis cried helplessly. “You will stay with me…” Discord soothed… //-------------------------------------------------------// Nightmare Moon / Luna & Sombra //-------------------------------------------------------// Nightmare Moon / Luna & Sombra Daw, that was sweet of Discord, wasn’t it? Wait- I’m on Luna’s chapter, right? Ok, let’s catch up with her after her grandmother died… Luna sat on her navy-blue bed, and sobbed quietly into herself. She was so disheartened that she just wanted to turn her back on everything… and leave it all alone. Fly away into the black night. Knocking on the door brought Luna out of her thoughts. She brought up her tear-stained face. She heard her mother speak, but not what she said. She also heard someone walk up the stairs, then knocking on her door. “*sniffle* C-come in?” Luna spoke through her sobs. The door opened gently, to revile Sombra standing at the doorway. He carefully stepped forward. “I’m sorry for what happened…” murmured Sombra. “I-it’s not your f-fault…” choked Luna. Sombra sat next to her and wrapped his hooves round her in a caring way. Luna tucked her head into his chest, and Sombra laid his chin on her shoulders, comforting her. “Sshh…” Sombra murmured gently, “It’s ok...” When Sombra’s belly was stained a deeper grey to his normal shade, Luna stopped crying.  Luna looked up at Sombra with teary eyes, hoping for some more comfort. Sombra used his newly-found magic to close the door. He looked back down at Luna. Luna couldn’t help but drop a few more tears. Sombra leaned forth and gave Luna a gentle kiss. Luna’s eyes widened in surprise, and then she returned the kiss. They sat there for a few moments, lips locked, and then Luna pulled away. “Y-you surprised me…” Luna confessed, her cheeks blushing a pale red. “Sorry…” Sombra too, blushed violently, and rubbed his neck, “I didn’t mean to-” Luna put her hoof on Sombra’s mouth, “Our secret…” Sombra nodded, “Our secret.” They sat in silence for a few minutes, none dare shattering the beautiful silence. Sombra coughed awkwardly and glanced at Luna, and gasped. Luna’s normal, light-blue mane had turned into a beautiful, flowing mane. Her mane twinkled with untold power, just like the evil mascara I had. “You’re… Mane…” I spoke breathlessly. Luna quickly turned to her hair, and gasped. She went to the small mirror in her room, and screed with excitement. “It’s beautiful!” Luna cried happily, and turned to Sombra, “What did you do!” Sombra tilted his head, “I have no idea…” “Your mascara-stuff is twinkling a lot less now.” Luna remarked softly. “I must have touched it against your mane… and somehow transferred power?” Sombra guessed hesitantly. Luna leapt at him, and clasped her arms around him. Sombra stood there for a moment, unsure of what to do next. He decided just to return the favour, and he curved his arms around her. “My tenth birthday is coming up…” Luna said quietly, “I’ll be sure to invite you my party…” Sombra sat open-mouthed, but before he could reply, Celestia opened the door. “Can I speak with you, dear sister?” Celestia spoke, slightly mockingly, and Luna walked through with her. Sombra was about to join them when Celestia growled, “Privately…” Sombra sneaked up to the door and opened it slight and peered in. “Luna- listen!” barked Celestia, “I’m here to speak with you!” “Keep on talking…” Luna growled back. “I thought I made it perfectly clear that I didn’t want you to invite him!” Celestia ordered. “You can’t command my party!” snapped Luna, “It is MY party after all!” “Luna! - We are trying to do what we think is best for you!” Celestia growled dangerously, “We are not letting him into the party! Have you seen that pony’s manners?” “Stop trying to control my life, Celestia!” yelled Luna, losing her temper, “He IS coming! YOU can’t do anything about it, as it is MY party! I get to decide who does and doesn’t come to MY party!” Celestia lost her temper too, “I have a VERY strict list of who IS coming and who is NOT! SOMBRA is not on it! DEAL WITH IT!!!” “I WISH YOU WEREN’T MY SISTER!!!” boomed Luna, in what can only be described, as a double-tone. Celestia was star-struck for a moment, and gave enough time to let Luna run. “GO!! RUN!!!” cried Luna in the same double-toned voice. Sombra ran. He leapt out of the door and ran as fast as he could down the lane to his house. As soon as he was inside, he slammed the door shut behind him, and he breathed heavily. As soon as he recovered, he ran upstairs and into his room. He sat on his bed, and thought. I remember that double-voice Luna used from somewhere… Sombra sat and thought. But where… Sombra looked outside in the gathering dusk, and then he looked down at his barren flank. All the other kids in school – Heck, even Luna – have gotten their cutiemarks. Some had odd ones, like an anvil, but at least they had cutiemarks. Sombra is the only kid to not have a cutiemark, and everypony was teasing him about it. “Blank-flank! Blank-flank! Blank-flank!” the fillies mocking chants filled Sombra’s head, “Blank-flank! Blank-flank! Blank-flank! Blank-flank! Blank-flank! Blank-flank!” Sombra put his hooves on the side of his head, and cried out, “No! Stop making fun of me!” Suddenly, something opened in his soul. Some kind of… daemon. His eyes flashed green for a moment, as his mind was momentarily corrupted. “What's going on?” Sombra cried out, “Who’s there?” “Ha ha ha ha ha…” a mocking laugh surrounded Sombra, “Poor, poor Sombra… Crying for his mummy ‘cos he doesn’t have is cutiemark!” “Stop making fun of me!” Sombra cried desperately, looking around him, but nothing was there. “Give up, blank-flank. You’ll never get you’re cutiemark. Not now, NOT EVER!” the voice mocked, then maniacally laughed again. Tears ran down Sombra’s face, before the voice went away, and he came back down to earth. “Stop it... stop it… stop it…” murmured Sombra. Sombra curled up on the bed uselessly, but then he felt warm legs stretch round him. “It’s ok…” murmured Luna, “I’ll always be here for you… And if I could… I would give you my cutiemark…” They sat there, in each other’s arms for a few moments, before embracing another kiss again… //-------------------------------------------------------// Discord & Queen Chrysalis //-------------------------------------------------------// Discord & Queen Chrysalis Eeew! Yuck! Too lovey-duvey for my liking, oh well, moving on. Let's move onto Discord again, and see how Chrysalis is doing too. But, as every third chapter, TIME LAPSE TIME!! *epic-dub step music comes on for about, two minutes* Ok, now there at the age, we call, Primary 7. Well, lets go... Since Chrysalis's parents died, Discord had housed her I a forest, as Discord himself did not have a house. Chrysalis did not continue going to school. She saw no point in it. She was happy in her new forest home that Discord spruced up just for her. Since Chrysalis did not like sleeping in the same place every night, so Discord decided to make the entire forest floor a huge blanket. And, as she couldn't fly for very long, he decided to suspend huge chunks of earth into the air, so Chrysalis could stop for breath any time she needed. And finally, Discord made cotton candy clouds for Chrysalis to eat, and it to rain chocolate milk when she was thirsty, as cotton candy and chocolate milk was her favourite food and drink. But when Discord wants a drink, he drinks the glass, and makes the chocolate milk into a grenade. It was like an amusement show, only about 20% cooler, and in HD. "Oh, hi Discord!" Chrysalis called to Discord as he returned from yet another tiring day of school. "Hi Chrissie." he replied, letting out the occasional sigh. "How was your day?" asked Chrysalis, walking up, and taking his heavy schoolbag off him, and placing it down over by the little make-shift tent. "Eh, it was ok." replied Discord, grabbing himself some cotton candy, and beginning to lick it. Chrysalis smiled gently, and got a cup of chocolate milk, and sipped on it, "So, are you on holiday?" "You betcha!" replied Discord, a large grin growing on his face. Chrysalis yawned, and went over to her next sleeping spot, and curled up on the soft, quilted blanked flooring. Discord looked up, and noticed that it was around nine o'clock at night. "Good night, my dear..." murmured Discord, stroking Chrysalis's mane gently. Once Discord was sure she was asleep, he walked over to his little tent, and opened his diary, and put in the next entry. '17/4/2013,                  The school holiday had started again, and my dearest Chrysalis is getting better at flying. This holiday, I want to see if I can buy my lovely Chrissie something, like a bunch of flowers. Oh well... It doesn't matter. Anyway, my birthday is coming up soon, so I might gain something from the locals. Signed, Discord. P.S- I have the feeling that someone who is a very kind soul, will turn against everything around it. I am unsure who this is, but I know it is coming up soon...' Discord closed his diary, and hid it out of sight, and looked up into the glowing stars. Luna must have worked hard on all of these stars. The moon shone powerfully in the sky, like a great big beacon. There was a shape of comets on the moons surface, showing the picture of a unicorns head with closed eyes. Discord smiled gently, knowing it was a sign that no pony was on the moon- at this point at least. Tiredness caught up with Discord, and he curled up in his small blanket, and fell asleep... //-------------------------------------------------------// Nightmare Moon/Luna & King Sombra //-------------------------------------------------------// Nightmare Moon/Luna & King Sombra D'aw, atleast that is subtle romance. Oh well, back to the two love birds! It was Luna's 15th birthday today! She is so excited, 'cos she persuaded Celestia into letting Sombra come to her party. Once Luna woke up, she was bouncing around her room like a tornado! Throwing books off shelves, 'accidently' destroying her homework, and laving hoof prints on all of the surfaces. "Calm down, dearest!" called her mother, trotting into the room. "Presents!?" Luna cried excitedly, leaping around her mother, trying to find the present. "Yes, yes, but Celestia wants to give you something first." replied her mother, but her brow lowered, and a guilty looking Celestia walked in, her head low to the ground, "Go ahead, Celestia, say what she deserves to hear!" Celestia glared viciously at her mother, then turned to Luna again. "Luna... I'm afraid that your pathetic special somepony cannot come to the party..." Celestia's mother hit her in the back of the head with her wing. "Celestia! You are grounded!" scolded her mother. "Thats not fair!" yelled Celestia just as loud and angry, "Mother! Thats no fair! I hate you!" And with that, Celestia stormed out, slaming the door behind her. "I'm sorry darling... Celestia is just stressed..." Luna's mother apologised, braiding her long, flowing hair, " How about you and I bake a cake later?" "I'd like that..." replied Luna, smiling gently, trying to push the picture of Celestia's murderous eyes to the back of her head. ***Later*** "Careful with the eggs Luna!" giggled her mother, hardly contoling herself from laughter. Luna had accidently poured flour all over herself, and her flowing mane and tail made her look like a ghost. "Boo- cough cough!" coughed Luna, trying to act like a ghost, but choking on the flour. Both Luna, and her mother nearly fell over laughing, but Celestia stood at the doorway, glaring viciously. "Oh, come on Celestia, lighten up!" Luna chuckled, "Get it, 'Lighten up'!" Luna chuckled, but Celestia continued her angry glare. Smiling, and getting back to work on the cake, Luna's smile was uncontained, and she started to giggle again. A few hours later, and about 3 more attempts at the batter, the cake was finished. All that was left was the icing. Luna's mother had said to leave the cake for a while, to let it cool, and when they walked out, and began doing random things, Celestia snuck into the kitchen. Making sure her teleportation spell was working, Celestia gently put the edge of her wing under the plate of the cake, and slammed it hard onto the floor, and teleported quickly out. But, one of her feathers did not come with her, and gently landed on top of the squashed cake. Reacting fast, Luna shot into the kitchen and screamed. The cake was nothing more than a mound of broken batter, with a small, pure-white feather sitting on top. Her mother quickly entered, and her face turned red. "CELESTIA!" bellowed Luna's mother. Celestia innocently walked in, "Yes mother?" she spoke in a soft tone. Her mother pointed to the ruined cake, which Luna was now sobbing over, "Oh, dear! How did that happen?" "I think you already know!" purred her mother dangerously, "Celestia, you have gone too far this time! You are not going to your friends' sleep over!" "WHAT?!" screamed Celestia, stomping her hoof so hard it nearly cracked the tile underneath her hoof, "MUM!!! THATS NO FAIR!!!" "It is a just punishment!" her mother retorted. Celestia reared back, and broke the two tiles underneath her hooves. "That's it Celestia, you spoiled little brat, you are 18, and it is about time you acted your age!" snarled their mother, "You are going to do your, and Luna's chores for the next month and you get to go no where and get no pocket money." she paused for a moment, "Oh, and you are not aloud to do go Luna's party." Celestia screamed in anger as loudly as she could, and stormed out. "Mother, that was a bit much, don't you think?" Luna murmured. "Not at all, she needs to learn." her mother judged, levitating the remains of the cake, and swiftly putting it back together, "She was a spoiled brat, and it needed to stop." Slowly nodding, Luna went over to the icing sugar, and handed it to her mother. Quickly her mother made the icing, and put on the finishing touches to the cake. "Go on, isn't Sombra coming over?" smiled her mother, with no trace of the angry beast she was earlier. Luna looked up and smiled from ear to ear. "Oh, yeah!" A few hours later, and there was some soft chapping on the door. Luna gently opened it, and was met with a large hug. Sombra was grinning as widely as her. Luna invited him in, and they went up into Luna's room. For a few hours, they sat and played Pokémon on their small Gameboy-like devices. They traded Pokémon after Pokémon, and then traded back the new evolutions. Soon, there was some calling from downstairs calling, "Luna! Sombra! Wont you be late for the birthday party?" "Ok, mother, we are going!" Luna called back, "I wonder where it will be!" Sombra and Luna walked side-by-side brimming with excitement, and soon they heard the heavy poundings of wubs. The closer they got, the more violent the wubs got. Soon they got to the party place... but it was made of cloud, floating in the sky. "Oh..." Sombra sighed, his excitement bubble popped. "Like where I picked?" grinned a voice from above, and a white, unicorn head looked out of the door. "Celestia!" cried Luna, "What did you do!" "I picked a location where pussy there, couldn't follow. Then it hit me, the sky!" Celestia did some twirls in the air, and floating about two feet off the ground, "Now come on, the party is almost half way done!" "I'm not coming." Luna growled simply. "What?!" cried Celestia, "But, who's ever heard of a birthday party, where the birthday foal doesn't show up?" Celestia dragged Luna into the air. "Mine, apparently." snapped Luna back. "Celestia, we've had ENOUGH!" Sombra cut in, shocking them both, "You have treated me horribly, even though I have done NOTHING to you. You act like you are all high and mighty, but just because you are a princess, doesn't mean you are the boss of everything." Stunned by this, Celestia's horn began to glow, "Oh, yeah." began Celestia, a grin growing on her face, "I think that you have forgotten your place, and now you have to pay the price." Celestia shot a yellow beam right to Sombra, and Sombra shot back, his magic as black as night. The two magic aura's clashed in a brilliant flash of night and day. Celestia and Somra's faces were bathed in sweat as they fought, and soon, Celestia overpowered Sombra, and struck him in the mouth. "GRAWL!" cried Sombra, sent flying into a wall, "Grrr..." "Sombra!!" Luna quickly flew to him, "What did you do to him, Celestia!!" Celestia giggled, "I disabled his speech. All he can do now are grunts, whines, and growls." Sombra snarled viciously, but could not say a word. His horn glowed, and quickly shot from his horn, and hit Celestia's. Pure-black crystals sprung from the base of her horn, right the way up to the tip. Screaming in horror, Celestia pretended to be in pain, and alerted the guards. Sombra growled and snarled, and tried to explain, but the guards did not understand him, and threw him into chains. Sombra tried to break free, but the guard's grasp on him were too great, and he was carried off into prison.... //-------------------------------------------------------// Discord & Queen Chrysalis //-------------------------------------------------------// Discord & Queen Chrysalis Celestia that bitc- oh, never mind. Lets get back to Mr and Mrs Subtlety. Discord woke in the morning, Chrysalis still building her little project. "Did you sleep at all?" yawned Discord, walking up to her. "No, I couldn't. I've been to busy." Chrysalis replied, placing more lime-green blocks into a round dome. "I'd best head off to school." Discord concluded, and flew over to his school supplies, picked them up, "Seeya later Chrissie." He slung on his school supplies, then he heard calls of his friends just outside his forest. There were some footsteps, and two teen ponies entered the clearing. One was a purple pony with a light-pink mane, and the other was a stallion which was a tan unicorn with a brown mane. "And, who, in all of Equestria, is this?" growled the tan stallion. Discord leapt in front of a very frightened-looking chrysalis, "This is Princess Chrysalis!" "She's a changeling!" snarled the mare, "Changelings are not aloud in Equestria!" "Guys! She is my special somepony, and I am not letting any of you hurt her!" defended Discord, summoning four flying pigs. The two ponies shrank back a bit in fear. "Oh, yeah, well.... We'll... We'll...." began the young stallion. "You'll what? Tell the teachers that I live in a magical forest which also happens to house the queen of the changelings?" Discord snapped angrily, Chrysalis's eyes shining in wonder. "Well... um...." the little mare murmured. "We will tell on you! Smell ya' later, crime-against-nature!" snarled the stallion, then he turned quikly, and stomped off. The little mare shivered, and ran after him, jittering in her little horseshoes. "NOT cool." snarled Discord, turning round and helping up Chrysalis "Why do you even hang with those guys anyway?" Chrysalis snorted, dusting off the little green shards from her body. "Honestly,"Discord said, "I have no idea." Once Chrysalis was back to building, Discord gave her two large flying pigs with iron armour to protect her from harm. "So, if any of those guys come back, but shout as loudly as you possibly can, and I'll be here." Discord reasured, picking up his things again. "Be home soon." smiled Chrysalis, giving him a little peak on the cheek. Blushing lightly, Chrysalis watched him walk confidently out of the little forest area. Yawning, the only thing Chrysalis could think of now, was breakfast. Turning to the pigs, she looked deep into their eyes and saw a deep emotion of love for her. "Well, it wont hurt to take a little bit..." Chrysalis murmured guiltily, "At least... I hope..." Taking a few bits of emotion out of the pigs, she was already overstuffed. Discord must have made them with a tight relationship with her, so she didn't get hungry when he was away. "I've wasted enough time, I'd better get back to building..." Chrysalis concluded, levitating up some old, dead leaves, and mixing it with some of her magical essence to make an emerald-coloured block. Lifting it onto the others, she sealed it on with her magically-generated green liquid. Sighing, Chrysalis repeated this process quite a few times until she had the wall about roughly the size of a bungalow. "Oh, for goodness sake!" cursed Chrysalis, stomping her hoof, "This is taking absolutely AGES!!!" Sitting on her haunches for a moment, Chrysalis tried to think of some short cuts. Ideas flowed in and out of her head, but were all mainly useless. Loads of windows? Nah, that would mean splitting the blocks in half, which would be very hard. No roof? But when the rain falls, she would be drenched. Both water and chocolate milk were hard to get out from her mane, and usually left it full of tugs making it very hard and painful to brush. Running flat on ideas, Chrysalis concluded that if she wanted this built, she had to do it the right way. Block after block were created and stacked on top of each other, and soon she was out of magical charge. "Come on... Come on..." Chrysalis muttered, her head was low, her horn pointing to the pile of dead leaves. Puffing her cheeks out, and her face turned bright red, but the only thing that happened, was the tip of her horn flickering lightly. Chrysalis sighed angrily, and flopped to the ground exhausted. Suddenly, she heard faint voices. Lifting her head up and pointing her ears forward, she managed to hear the voices. "This way..." a vague voice said, "Inside here..." "Go back home, you two..." another bolder voice spoke, but was still the voice of a female, "I will handle this..." A cold chill ran through Chrysalis's body, and she struggled to stand up, but her weak muscles could not sustain her weight for long and she fell to the ground again. The sound of hoof steps echoed around the clearing, and only got louder. Chrysalis's heart sank as the figure of an adolecent pony wings and a horn burst through the tree line and into the obscure clearing. Her mane and tail were made of flowing streaks of cyan, green, blue and pink. Her flank held the picture of the sun, and on her hooves were large golden horseshoes which went about halfway up her legs. Her eyes searched for any signs of life, and they landed on Chrysalis and her half-built structure. "no, waitwaitwaitwaitwaitwai-" Chrysalis yelped, frightened, but was cut off by her being lifted in the air by a light yellow aura, coming from the alicorn's horn, "C-Celestia wai-" "Silence, changeling." Celestia said gruffly, holding Chrysalis's mouth shut, "You are coming with me. I thought I taught all of you that changelings were not aloud to set hoof in Equestria when I killed your leader, Seems not." Feeling herself being pulled along by the yellow aura, Chrysalis desperately tried to call for the battle pigs. "mmmmf!" Chrysalis struggled to speak, mmmf, mmmmf, mmmmmmmmmf!" The pigs were on the clouds, asleep to restore the missing emotions, and were unaware of the events transpiring below. Desperately trying to break free, Chrysalis's weakened state left her at the mercy of the Princess Celestia. Seeing two guards appear from the bushes behind her, two guards brought forth a large, golden box. Uselessly struggling, Chrysalis struck out at Celestia and the guards, but was soon stopped by ropes being bound around her legs, holding them all together. Her back cracked as she was tossed against the rough surface of the golden box. The lid closed on top, leaving her in what seemed like an eternal darkness. She was tossed about in the box as the ground bumpy and uneven, but it soon smoothed off, and she felt herself lifted off the ground and being taken away. Every single swipe was futile as it did nothing to the walls, and shocked her every time she tried. Giving up, Chrysalis rolled into the corner, sobbing. "Chrysalis! I'm back!" Discord shouted, arriving at the forest, "Chrysalis?" Discord wandered the clearing, but no one was there. Sadness and rage overtook Discord, and he drive his lion fist into a tree, tears running from his eyes. He was convinced Chrysalis had ran away, but h glanced at the structure, and found it was much taller than he last saw it. Then he concluded that Chrysalis had been kidnapped, and he knew exactly who did it... //-------------------------------------------------------// King Sombra //-------------------------------------------------------// King Sombra As you know, King Sombra is an evil being, only wanting to shroud the land with fear, but as a child he was quite sweet and innocent. It all started on his first day to nursery. At his table, he was sat with Princess Luna and Celestia. Luna and Sombra always talked, and shared spells with each other. But Celestia was an in-your-face and all-round mean filly at the time, but, she dose mature, but she is mean at this time. She is always lying and pinning the blame on other fillies. Ok, let’s get into this… “How are you today Luna?” asked Sombra sweetly. “I’m great!” replied Luna happily. They trotted up the playground together and they both had huge grins adorning their faces. “Luna, want to join us?” called Celestia. “Sure!” Luna called back and she ran over to play with a skipping rope. Sombra’s face darkened with sadness, until Luna called on him, “Want to try, Sombra?” Luna called, and Sombra’s face brightened. Celestia said something to Luna and they began to bicker, so Sombra walked away. He whistled as he walked and soon came to the hopscotch squares. When he was about to jump onto the first square, Celestia pushed him onto the ground into a puddle of mud. “Hey!” Sombra shouted, as he shook the mud off himself, “Why are you so mean Celestia?!” Celestia ignored him and continued to hopscotch, and gave no-pony else a turn. Celestia rudely stuck her tongue out at Sombra. His anger boiled over the top and he shoved Celestia onto the ground. Celestia screamed loudly and began to cry, and then the teacher came out and sent Sombra inside for detention. “She shoved me onto the ground first though!” Sombra wailed innocently. The teacher ignored his constant moans and kept marking homework. He was sitting in front of a piece of paper which at the top, said ‘I will not harm any fillies.’ And the teacher told him to write that twenty times, and then apologise to Celestia before he was aloud outside again. The bell rang and the fillies came into the class. They giggled and snickered at Sombra, and they made rude faces at him, and when the teacher says ‘What did you do there?’ they’d say, ‘nothing ma’am’. “This isn’t fair, Mrs Tall-rose!” wailed Luna, “Celestia pushed Sombra to the ground first! It just isn’t fair!” “No I didn’t!” lied Celestia, “Luna’s lying!” “Celestia, go to the time out table, now!” Mrs Tall-rose ordered. Celestia screamed with anger and stormed to the table and sat down muttering angry phrases as she went. Mrs Tall-rose watched her as she stormed over. “You just earned Mondays playtime in here, Celestia!” hissed Mrs Tall-rose. Celestia slammed her hooves on the table, but other than that, Celestia was quiet //-------------------------------------------------------// Nightmare Moon / Luna //-------------------------------------------------------// Nightmare Moon / Luna Luna wasn’t always Nightmare Moon, but she was awfully happy as a filly, as you will see… “Hi Sombra!”  Luna said cheerfully, “How are you?” “I’m good.” replied Sombra equally as cheerful. Celestia walked up to Luna, and hissed, “Why are you hanging around with looser-pony!” “Were friends!” Luna spat back, “Why don’t you try getting some?!” Celestia’s face turned from surprised to pure rage. She pushed Sombra and Luna to the ground. Then once we stood up, she cried out and began crying for no reason. Mrs Tall-rose stormed out into the small playground. “Celestia, inside NOW!” she hissed angrily. Once Celestia was gone, Sombra turned to Luna and murmured, “Want to see an awesome spell?” “Sure!” replied Luna. Sombra put all the power he had into his horn and he shot a small, thin beam, but was only visible as a shadow. It stopped a bit further away and a large stalagmite of black gems rose up. “Tada!” Sombra giggled, “Don’t worry I’ll get rid of it.” He cut off the power to his horn and the gems smashed into shadows them disappeared. “Awesome!” Luna cooed, clapping her hooves together excitedly. The bell rang and they all went inside again. “Ok class, were going to talk about cutiemarks today.” Mrs Tall-rose said, “My cutiemark is 3 rose heads and a smile. Talk among yourselves what cutiemark you have, or hopefully going to have.” “My cutiemark is the sun!” sneered Celestia, “What’s yours Luna, oh wait, you don’t have one. That means you are talentless!” The class laughed and pointed at Luna’s blank flank, but suddenly, “Back off!” hissed Sombra, casting his shadow crystal spell. Fortunately, Mrs Tall-rose was out of the room, so she couldn’t tell him off for using it. A few more minutes passed and the bell signalling the end of the day rang, and all the fillies left…
