Untold amounts of cosmic power. That's what Nix usually has at his beck and call, taking great joy in using it to slay evil gods, the occasional eldritch abomination, and maybe a few hordes of dragons every other reality or so.

In the newest existence he's stumbled upon, he's instead reminded daily of his new-found powerlessness. To make matters worse, the steady loss of his memories from his millennium of dimensional travels has put a time limit on his ultimate goal—make it home before he forgets just what "home" really is.

However, as vast forces build on the horizon and his own past threatens to destroy him, he must first regain his powers by doing something that has been beyond his impressive capabilities for centuries:
