My Little Guardian

Chapter –

The world will tell you that your engagements make you who you exist to be; when in all actuality the temperament in your chest will govern the actions you will take.

There were once four spirits that existed in the Demensia, a place where nothing mattered. In this place of no places these spirits slept undisturbed until they were perturbed by a thought. They had been in such a perfect existence that they realized there was no purpose, no reason, and no ordinance to continue.

With this in mind the spirits awoke from their great slumber and proceeded to make an existence of reason. From their minds they formed the -th dimension as a starting point for what would be created from it. The spirits continued and added another dimension they named the first dimension, a line that would later define distance. Next came the second dimension, a never-ending plane on witch to build the third dimension. The spirits stopped, they had created a space within their own domain but the space had no meaning. They deduced that there must be a beginning and an end to all things to have meaning, thereafter the spirits created the fourth dimension of time to provide a basis of meaning. From this time there was a spark, the space the spirits created began to churn, form, and grow. The spirits marveled at this sight but faltered, what could possibly exist between the beginning and the end?

The four spirits began to ponder what might be in-between time and space all the while sealing their fates. A long time of nothing happened until one of the spirits had an idea. This spirit reasoned that since there were four spirits, four forces should exist to clarify meaning in-between time and space. This spirit also created for itself a name The Most Orderly, to signify the first force and a reason to build, put in place, and keep order. This spirit created and named an element it called Order.

The others thought this was a wonderful proposal and thought of other ideas to help The Most Orderly. One of the three un-named spirits came forth and declared itself The Least Orderly, to signify the second force and a reason to end, to scatter, and to maintain randomness. This spirit created and named an element it called Chaos.

With two elements created it was up to the last two un-named spirits to think of what they wanted to make themselves. One of the un-named proceeded towards The Most Orderly and declared it wanted to assist the named spirit, this spirit declared itself The Highest. The Highest then proceeded to create an element that would back the force of Order, and this element was named Good.

However the last un-named spirit claimed that The Highest was mocking The Most Orderly and was jealous that it could not think of anything to offer. This spirit declared itself The Lowest to go against the force of Good and named its element Evil.

The other spirits were shocked that The Lowest would do such a thing and decided that the named spirit should be put in its place. Before this happened though The Lowest attempted to destroy The Highest with its element of Evil, but since both elements were meant to be opposites they clashed in a fantastic dual of pure essence. The Most and Least Orderly knew they had to do something before they were caught up in the struggle too. They concluded that they would have to use their space they created as a prison to contain the forces of Good and Evil.

With a mighty push The Most and Least Orderly banished The Highest and Lowest into the space and used what energy they had left to break the now orb like space in two. With this the fifth dimension was created with parallels and opposites coming into being. The Most and Least Orderly knew that this still was not enough to maintain order and created the sixth dimension in order to maintain the now Space Between Spaces. The seventh dimension was also created as a network of gateways connecting the many spaces should they ever need to be re-assembled. The Order and Chaos spirits did not stop though, reasoning that The Highest and Lowest would find a way to reconnect themselves eventually. Therefore the eighth dimension of Infinity was created to continue to churn and change the many spaces that now existed along with the ninth dimension of Renewing so new types of spaces could be created as others changed and grew and split.

At this the spirits of Order and Chaos dissipated, their essence floating freely in The Space Between Spaces. They only wished they could do more and as a last act of collective consciousness the spirits spread themselves across the many spaces and in doing so created the tenth dimension. This dimension became known as The Multiverse in witch all other dimensions flourished including an unintended one. This secret dimension, the final eleventh, came into being. This dimension became the dimension of impossibility and spread its spark across the multiverse creating new spirits of all shapes and sizes. Life besides the forces of Good and Evil existed and would now shape the multiverse for better or worse.

In this time came the first echoes of thought from within the space between spaces. As life began to spring up in the multiverse, likewise happened outside and with it a race of great spirits was born. These spirits gradually came to call themselves Guardians, each possessing a unique trait of reason and ordinance. The Guardians watched over the multiverse and cared to every whim, task, and quest that came about until one day of silence came. In this day of silence the Guardians pondered as to why they existed besides their own devices.

A great argument ensued which in turn led to a conflict that engulfed the space between spaces. Guardians segregated themselves according to their traits, and fought valiantly for what they believed was the single truth of existence in their faction. One by one the Guardians fell until only two remained, male and female spirit. These two spirits stopped as they realized what had happened to their once honored race. Both guardians kneeled and began to suppurate; only finding comfort in each other’s tears. The last guardians knew that they only had so long before succumbing to their many wounds, and so they planned. They planned a prophecy that would not only restore their race, but cement an idea of reason throughout the multiverse.

The son of nothingness and tragedy will carry reason

Through a path worn by time and treason

A land so innocent and frail

Evils cold grip might prevail

A guardian to raise the past that be

King, Queen, and daughters three

A sleep to wind the ancient gears

Awake again in nightmares and fears

Twelve will stand shoulder to shoulder

To avenge the one who’s heart grows colder

Loves great kindness overflowing

To bring about an era of peace everlasting

To be called again in times of great need

Shall the powers of the heart be freed?

With the last of their power, the preceding guardians created this prophecy and from their death sprung life. A small universe was created and a child was born from nothing, to be the fuse that ignited the prophecy.

This child would grow and be learned with all the skills necessary to care for the multiverse unaided. It would learn the full meaning of reason, and of the forces of Order, Chaos, Good, and Evil. It would know many universes, nations, and people to keep its lucidity. It would achieve foresight unlike any other, being able to see the past, present, and future. This child would slumber until called into the politics of the multiverse and the great prophecy.

This child’s name would be known
