As we make our descent into the fields outside the town, i could see the streets, it didn't look like it took the worst, the streets were clear, and the building looked fine. Like nothing happened, as the hull landed onto the ground, we looked around, we saw the town, a bridge, a farm and a tree line, kinda barren place for a place that was so populated. "Well looks like we need to get to the library, thats where Celestia said to look right" i looked to Derpy, she nods and points to a map she pulled out, "its right there, center of town, don't worry, i worked here for a few years, so i know the best way to get there" she said with a smile. We packed our things, and then i noticed something, "you don't have a weapon", she looks at me as if i was crazy. "yeah, we haven't been able to find me one, so I'm just behind you for the moment", "would you fight if you had one" i asked her with a questioning look, she replied with good punch to the side.

I gotta say, she can hit, still a bit sore even as we stroll through the town, by now she's apologized about 15 times, but i said it was fine, that i forgave her. As we walked through the street, we stumbled across sugar cube corner, i peered through the window to see an empty dusty room. We entered the shop to see how it was, it was so dusty and *cough* oh god, well, we scoured the rooms of the building, but there was nothing there. We then grabbed the few water bottles that were there and made our way for the boutique, as we marched down the street we saw what looked like a tool shop. "C'mon Derpy, lets get you a weapon", as we entered the shop, the ideas of weapons poured into my mind, but only one did i decide to go with.

I grabbed a metal bar about 3-5 inches in diameter, took some duct tape and rapped it around the bottom part, after that i took a welding device, some little metal bars, and welded then on, it was like a makeshift mace. I bent the bars so the were somewhat rounded, then i welded them down, it was about 2-3 feet long, a little under a yard, but a god melee weapon none the less, i then gave Derpy a choice, the bat or the mace. She chose the bat, maybe because my weapon didn't look that great, but i was confident in its durability. We exited the store and headed to the boutique, as like the sweets shop, there was nothing there, then we checked the cloud home. We wanted to check the houses outside of the town then move into the library later, so we headed for the cottage. "I'm hoping that everyone got out of here in time" Derpy said with a frown, "I'm sure most did, this place looks untouched, Im positive that there fine", i don't know what made me say that, cause i didn't believe it myself.

As we approached the cottage, i noticed that there was thriving creatures and animals, i wonder whats goin on. We head on in cautious of what was inside, what we saw kinda shocked me, animals eating out of food bowls. "what?" i asked my self, didnt look abandoned at all. All of a sudden a bunny jumped up beside me waving her arms, "oh, what do you want little one". The bunny started pointing upstairs, then in played a game of charades, it first acted like a big guy, then a helpless women, then it started dragging a bag, and then acted like it was taking of clothes.... "you getting any of this Derpy", i looked over to see Derpy wide eyed, "its saying that a big guy came by took fluttershy and is raping her upstairs", the bunny nodded furiously. As soon as i got it, i raced up the steps, i broke the door right off its hinges i ran into it so hard, i looked in the room to see a crying lady with her pants off, and a man about to take her, er, panties off.

He was on me in an instant, i tried to dodge but to no avail, he tackled me down the stairs, as we tumbled, i tried to hit him a few times. We finally came to a halt, the guy was the first to get up, he pulled out a nasty looking blade, and slashed at me, i shifted my body and he missed, stabbing the ground with enough for to crack the floor boards. I gave him a good punch in the face and stop up, he was struggling with the knife, so i went for my mace, oh god. I looked behind him, my mace fell off in the struggle, he soon looked where i was looking, and picked up the mace, he swung it at me with such furry. I barely dodged it, and as he went for another swing, the mace fell to the ground, his arms drooped, and his eyes were lifeless, he fell on the ground, and behind him was Derpy, standing firm with a freshly bloodied cat. "I think you knocked his brains out" i said with a chuckle, as she helps me up she chimes, "If he had any brains in the first place, he would have not messed with us".

As we collect ourselves, i remember the bound up women up stairs, i rush up to see that her underwear was clean off, he must have pulled them off when he charged me. I shut my eyes and stumble back down the stairs, "Derpy, i think you should handle this", after a few moments of waiting and being swarmed with all sorts of animals that i think were thanking me, they both finally come down the steps, the lady wearing a pair of skinny jeans, and a frilly yellow shirt, it was a really cute outfit. Before i could ask if she was ok, she rushes me into a hug, "thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou", she said in a quick succession, "what for" i asks, yeah i knew the answer, but i think its rude to be like, yeah i just saved your virginity.

"you saved my virginity", haha, nailed it, anyhow, "you came just in time to save me, but why did you leave be when you saw i was vulnerable", wow this is getting a little, strange (is the writer drunk) "why would i take advantage of you", she looked at me with open eyes and said with a low sigh, "I'm not pretty enough". "woh woh woh who, why would you insinuate that, your very cute, i just, what the hell is going on here", "she steps back and blushes, "oh its nothing, i just, i thought that, you were doing this, because you loved me or something", i started to see what was going on, she was thinking that a complete stranger would never help her, but the person has to have a reason. Well, this was getting a little confusing to me, so i just decided to just drop the question. "Do you know of celestia's student, me and my friend are here to save her and her friends", she looked surprised, "so celestia knew this would happen", i was starting to wonder something. "no, she didn't, this just happened and we were at the right place at the right time, now, so you know about her student" Derpy asked her, "why of course, she's my friend, Twighlight, and my name is Fluttershy by the way", "nice to meet you i said with a grin", we found one of the friends, but something about her stuck me as odd, so i asked another question.

"How have you been surviving this apocalypse?" She looked at me with the most confused face, she had no idea what i was talking about. "What do you mean, im surviving fine, i mean i need to go shopping soon but- wait, apocalypse", my hunches were correct, she has no idea that there were zombies roaming. I decided to break it to her, she took it rather well, until i started to mention some death, and her friends. She went hysteric when i mentioned her friends, "My friends are in danger" she said in a low yet alerted voice, "We have to go" she said immediately. Before i could reply, she was running out of the front door, "wait" i yelled out to her. She was set on going to town, so we followed.

We finally caught up to her, and tried to slow her down, she started to fly away until she finally shook free and soared away, "now what i said in a weak tone", Derpy ran up beside we to remind me of something, "we both have wings you know", i was shocked and looked behind me, "oh yeah, i totally forgot about these things". Well i felt like a complete loser forgetting that we both had wings well after a few moments of bashing my head into a tree, we were off and after Fluttershy. I have to admit, i almost never actually used my wings, kinda the reason i haven't mentioned them. So i was kind of slow at first, until i re gained my rhythm, and started flying like a champ, except for the fact that i almost fell every 5 seconds, eventually i got it and started keeping up with Derpy. We finally spotted Fluttershy, she was in front of the door to the library, and they were closing in, we flew down as fast as we could, the door was jammed, "Fluttershy, move" i ran up to the door, breaking down the door in one good kick. After we scurried in, we put the door back in place, and placed the couch in the main room in front of it.

"Ok guys, we probably don't have much time until they break down the door, so we gotta move fast, you two check the door over there" i pointed to a door at the top of the stairs, "And i will take that door" i headed to a door near the back of the room. I open the door where i see more steps leading down, i make my way down as the girls checked upstairs, when i reached the bottom, i could see some, very sciencey things. Test tubes and machines strewn about the room, i didn't have tome to gander, i looked across the room, to see a cage of some sort, and zombies up against it, all trying to reach something, i took it as good news and killed them with a good swing, while my custom mace works, it has a down side, it gets stuck in there bodies way to easy. I killed the second one out of the three, and my mace had gotten stuck in his head, and the third was almost on me, i dropped the mace and jumped back, i grabbed the nearest object and swung, a short sword, odd, but it worked.

As the zombies head rolled, i looked at the sword in my hand, it was a royal guards sword, but how could it get here, in a time of extreme crisis, they retreat to the castle in canterlot for further orders, and none of the zombies i killed where armored or had the muscle mass to be a guard. As i pondered, i realize that i was doing something, i walked up to the cage, it looked like a cage you would use to keep an animal contained, kinda like a jail cell, but smaller, and had a few science gizmos in it, and a weezing half awake women. She was lying there, her eyes drooped, and she was in a lot of pain, there was so much blood on the ground, I pull on the cage and push, trying to knock it down or something, until the women slowly raises her hand, in it, a key. I reach in my arm to grab it, i grab it barely by my finger tips, i unlock the cage and quickly pick up the lady, she was thirsty, hungry and bleeding. I carry her up he stairs where i found Derpy and Fluttershy waiting, "we are ready to go now" Derpy said looking out the window, "lets go" we opened the door and made a mad dash, neither of them noticing i was carrying someone.

We eventually made it out of the town, rushing our way to Sweet apple acres, I kept studying the women I was holding, she looked about the same age as Derpy, and i will have you know, I don't know how old she is, but they looked between 25 to 30 years of age, maybe younger. She wore a blue hoodie with what looked like a few rainbow lightning bolts on her side, and a pair of back jeans, she looked tough, and rather pretty. Yes i found her pretty, her hair was so colorful and her hoodie complemented it, well anyway, as we ran, they finally looked back and saw i was carrying a person. "RAINBOW DASH" Fluttershy said in delight, she immediately stopped running and turned to pounce on her injured friend, she made me tumble onto the ground, and at this point, my body has a few injures itself, when i fell in Canterlot and fought off the hoards, fell through the roof, and fought the bandits, i have cuts and bruises on my lets, a big cut on my chest, and a somewhat small concussion, and that tackle from Fluttershy just added.

But enough about me, as i recovered, Fluttershy saw that Rainbow was bleeding, "oh my gosh, we need to get her somewhere safe", I looked at her with a flat face, "what do you think i was doing." She slightly blushed, as I picked up Dashie here, the zombie hoard had actually caught up, "I thought we lost them" Derpy said in a surprised voice, "apparently not" i said in a more or less terrified tone. We start to run again, until we saw a barn in the distance, "thats the place" Fluttershy said breathlessly, we sprinted to the farm, to see a 12 foot wall blocking our path. "the hell is this" i asked in an irritated voice. We started running along side until i just decided on a plan, "okay, I'm going to crouch down and vault you guys over, once your over, im going to pass over rainbow, then i will find out what to do from there", they look at me like i was crazy, but then i stopped, put down rainbow, and crouched, cupping my hand together Derpy quickly hopped on, i pushed her up where she grabbed onto ledge, as she pulled herself up, i then vaulted Fluttershy up to the wall, she slowly made her way over, but she got there, and as soon as i could, i turned to the unconscious Rainbow Dash, with all my might, i heaved her over the wall to a waiting Derpy and Fluttershy.

Not one second after she was over, the zombies were on me, i shook em off and started running again, "damn it, i didn't run track in high school you dick zombies" i mumbled under my breathe, i was getting tired, i was running on terror now. As i rounded the corner, i see apart of the wall open up, and i shovel came right out smacking me square in the face. I don't remember a ton, but i remember someone dragging me inside, when my vision came back, and the world stopped spinning, i finally got a good view of the people that stood in front of me, "I'm so sorry sugar-cube, i thought you were a undead thing" said a tall strong looking female, she wore an orange checkered shirt, with a pair of dirty pants, couldn't tell what they were, they were covered in mud, and a tall standing man, not wearing a shirt, and another dirty pair of pants.

I fainted for a while, whatever concussion that i had before is probably worse, and i think my nose broke too, I finally woke up in a bed with apple themed covers, no one was in the room, so i wondered where anyone was. I got to my feet, and shambled into the hall, the house was beautiful, a very country style house, reminded me of when i was younger, i then remembered the women i stayed with for like 3 years, who was murdered in front of me. I shook my head, trying to think straight, i need to find Derpy, and Rainbow, but i kept getting distracted by the decor. There were pictures all over the walls, the walls were a nice light red, and it cut off to a wooden wall type thing, it reminded me of my past so much, and i smiled, as i viewed the pictures, i see all the people that probably live here. An older women, a young man, a younger female and a little girl, at least around 10, i finally focused and walked down the stairs, tired and slightly in pain.

I made my way down the stairs to a kitchen, it was empty, so i walked up to a window where i finally saw someone, i saw the women in the orange checkered shirt talking to Fluttershy. I walk out the door trying to sneak up on the women, as i get close, i hear what she was saying, both her and Fluttershy were looking in the same direction, they were talking about me believe it or not. "He's not a bad guy, he found me and Rainbow, he isn't going to hurt any of you" Fluttershy said throwing a rock, "If you say so, but he better watch himself, if he hurts any of you or steps out of line, I will get him" she said swinging her fist back, like you would if there was someone standing behind you. I caught her hand, and she turns with a nervous face, I looked at her with a smirk, she just looked at me with a worried face, as if i was going to hit her or something. I let go of her hand and at down next to her, "This is a nice place you got here miss" i say with a polite smile "reminds me of when i was younger, lived in the country-side, very beautiful". She looks at me with a relieved look on her face, "thank you kindly, been living here my whole life y'know, sorry for hitting you with that shovel" she looks forward, "Just trying to protect my family, hope your not mad" she looked at me with a altered version of a puppy face, "Its fine, i get it, thanks for not killing me though".

After a good 15 minutes of chatting, we hear calling from the barn, "Applejack darling, can you help me with this hay bale, its to close to my bed-mat", i look to who assume is this Applejack, she gets up and looks to me, "By the way names Applejack" she sticks out her hand, "Chase" i say, i outstretch my hand and shake hers, firm grip. We all make our way to the barn, were i see a whole lot of commotion, there were at least 10 people hold up inside, i saw bunch of people i didn't know in the front, one was a women in yellow shirt with orange-ish hair, another with blue hair with white streaks and a blue shirt. There was a family in the front, the wife with a light blue shirt and reddish pinkish hair, and the husband wore a yellow shirt and had orange hair as well, then more toward the middle, was a women with a pink dress, and pink hair, she was talking to a little girl in a yellow short sleeve shirt and had red hair. Very colorful people, I have to admit, as soon as i showed my face in the barn door, the one in the pink dress was on me, tackling me to the ground in a full bear hug.

"OHMYGOSH, YOUMUSTBENEWBECAUSEIVENVERSEENYOUAND-", she rambles on in a fast movement that I couldn't understand a word she said, after prying her off, I finally get a word in, "Hi, my name is chase, who are you" i ask with a friendly smile. "My name is PinkiePie, and I can't wait to get to know you cause your my new friend" she said in a fast succession, "I cant wait to get to know you too", after a few seconds of talking, a little girl approached me, "hi, whats your name" i ask with a smile, "Im Applebloom, I'm Applejack's sister, and I hope your here to help with chores, cause we need all the help we can get" she says with a smile back. I greeted everyone in the front, Carrot Top, Colgate, Mr. and Mrs. Cake with there children Pumpkin and Poundcake. As i made my way to the back i hear another lady, "Applejack, i said i need help", a very beautiful women came around some hay bales, knocking into me, "watch were you-", she looks at me and changes her tone, "well, ahm, hi, I am Rarity" she said with a gorgeous smile, and who are you, "Oh, my name is Chase, nice to meet you, so you need help" i asked with a smirk.

"Oh yes, um, i sleep over there, and i don't like having that filthy little hay bale there", I could feel Applejack roll her eyes, but I'm not one to judge what someone wants, i walk back with her to see a hay bale sitting rather close to a placed mat. "alright, i got this, i grab the hay-bale, and with a little struggle lift it up, mind you, my face hurts, and i don't really feel that great, I carry the bale over to a different bale, and set it down, "thank you darling", i turn to see Rarity looking at me with her beautiful eyes, I tried not to blush, but i think it showed, cause she gave me a little giggle. I turned away and continued to the back of the barn, i could see Derpy leaned up against the back wall, fast asleep, "poor thing, after I you passed out, she got so worried, she refused to go to sleep unless you were there, she finally fell asleep about an hour ago". I looked at her, why would she stay up, i just pondered on that little while, until I was dragged away by AJ.

"Sorry honey, better leave her be, anyway, we need to talk to you", she pulled me to the back of the barn, were Rainbow lied unconscious, she had been patched up, but she was still injured, beside her stood another little kid, he had what looked like a purple little hoodie, and green hair, he stood over her, looking worried. "hey, who are you" i asked, he simply looked at me with a frown, and looked back, obviously he was anxious. "thats spike, he is a bit worried about Rainbow here, never seen someone so injured" AJ whispered to me, I walked up to Dash to get a good look at the injuries, she looked well enough, she was going to recover, but he is young, he doesn't need to be seeing friends being hurt like this, assuming they were friends of course. "So who do i need to talk with" i asked AJ, "Me" a voice said from behind me, I turn to see a intellectual lady standing in front of me, she had black and purple hair, and wore a very pretty looking violet sweater, she looked at me with a smile. "So who are you" i asked with an outstretched hand, "the names Twilight Sparkle".

This a weak chapter, but i started hitting writers block, and tried to work around it, hope its good.
