Lunar Confessions (Now contradicted by Hasbro)
"Princess Luna."
My big sister advances towards us with an upset and angered expression on her face. I gasp and face her immediately. "It has been a thousand years since I've seen you like this. It's time to put our differences behind us." She lays down with her wings still spread out majestically like I've known. It's a royal thing. "We were meant to rule together. Little sister."
"Sister?" The mane six ponies respond to the word in unison.
"Will you accept my friendship?" Celestia inquires as a statement. We notice every pony leaning towards us with worried expressions, waiting on us for our response. Running through our mind is everything we have done. All the pain and suffering, the strife, everything we have done and known to regret. Then Pinkie Pie falls on her chest causing us to chuckle on the inside a might. I hang my head low in sorrow. Then we burst out of the moment into tears, trotting up to big sister.
"I'm so sorry! I missed you so much, big sister!" This causes even Celestia to shed tears a little.
"I missed you too." Pinkie Pie starts crying at the touching moment with a hanky, sneezing and sobbing. Then two rivers flow from her eyes. Suddenly with a change of emotion, she burst into excitement.
"Hey! You know what this calls for?" We all head back to Ponyville to celebrate. Big Sister called for a chariot for both of us to ride into Ponyville. We are lifted in spirit as we see every pony from the town there already to see us come and to celebrate. Big Sister and I get off the chariot to stand in front of the crowd when two young pegasi fly over to me and lay a flower wreath around my neck. I look at it before turning to my big sister who is smiling down at me. Big Sister goes to talk to Twilight Sparkle for a while before she makes a declaration.
"I, Princess Celestia, hereby decree that the unicorn, Twilight Sparkle, shall take on a new mission for Equestria. She must continue to study the magic of friendship. She must report to me her findings from her new home in Ponyville." Twilight's new friends surround her with joy while we only get anxious. We must tell her about what is to come because this is not truly a time of celebration. Great turmoil is headed towards Equestria threatening to destroy all that we know and love.
"Oh, thank you Princess Celestia! I'll study harder than ever before!" Every pony in the area starts cheering and launching confetti. Then we decide that we must break the news to Big Sister. We trot to her side with a smile to keep ponies from seeing our worry.
"Big Sister, I have something I need to tell you. We need to be somewhere private." Big Sister looks to me with a calm smile still on her face.
"Can it wait?" I look around a bit nervously.
"No."
We arrive at a remote hillside near Ponyville where no pony is near.
"What is so urgent, little sister?" I take a moment to gather my thoughts.
"Equestria...Nay. The world is still in danger." Big sister raises an eye brow. Now, How about we go back about... say, one thousand years ago.

"Nay! I cannot deal with these ponies anymore! They celebrate in your sunlight and shun my beautiful nights! Why the buck should I bring up the moon if these damned ponies will just ignore it and sleep the night away ignoring all of the beauty I send them?!" Celestia flares out her wings in a challenge, her face filled with rage.
"Sister, you are being irrational! The ponies need sleep. It is a way to keep energy so they can continue living life and if you refuse to bring up the moon every night, then our subjects will..." I stomp a hoof and use the royal Canterlot voice.
"I say NAY! THERE IS NO WE ANYMORE! THEY ARE NOT OUR SUBJECTS ANY LONGER!" Celestia advances towards me miraculously angered more than before.
"Princess Luna! I am appalled at your behavior! How could you just throw away your position like this?! You are a royal princess!"
"NOT ANYMORE! WE SHALL BRING ETERNAL NIGHT AND THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!" We lower our head with our horn nice and sharp and charge at Celestia who's face widens in surprise at the attack. She jumps out of the way, but we don't stop. After bursting through the door of our sleeping quarters, we burst out our wings and spread our wings to fly out, crashing through a stained glass window. With our sudden change of heart, we use our magic to bring up the moon for one final time, never for it to lower anymore. With out presence in the moonlight, a dark aura surrounds us only to disappear revealing our new armor. We have become Nightmare Moon.
A few days later, Celestia finds me in my newly constructed castle of the night to confront me.
"Princess Luna!"
"Celestia!"
"I never wanted to do this, but you left me no choice. You left Equestria in a shroud of darkness and it is time for you to serve your punishment. I banish you to the moon!" Our eyes widen in shock.
"You dare not! Doest thou even have The Elements of Harmony?"
"You think I would be so foalish as to not come prepared?" We wished it was only a dream, but before we knew it, Celestia's eyes were glowing pure white as her horn started glowing with an intense light. It was only a matter of seconds before a beam of spectrum raced towards me. We started shrieking in pain as my blood started running really fast throughout our body. Suddenly, we feel a bit lighter and even more hurt as we feel our body was being broken down piece by piece before being reassembled. Before we knew it, we were lying down in immense pain, clenching our chest before passing out only getting a glimpse of the world and the black void behind it speckled with white dots.

During those few days, there was an old foe we fought together to being down as he tried to bring chaos to all of Equestria. Discord was his name. Little did we know the disharmony between us and sister was big enough to crack him out of his stone prison. He escaped and found out about me...
Our ear twitches before we open our eyes slowly, trying to comprehend, only to stagger up in shock as we realize we are not home anymore. No matter where I look, there is a vast expanse of white stone and dark space filled with tiny white dots. We come to the conclusion that we are on the moon.
"That daughter of a seapony." We feel rage welling up deep inside of us. "THAT DAUGHTER OF A SEAPONY!!!" We spread our wings and take off in the low gravity air of the moon to come crashing down to make a crater, sending bits of moon flying outward to be forever lost in the void of space. "WE WILL MURDER HER! CLIP HER WINGS OFF, SAW OFF HER HORN AND BEHEAD HER AND LEAVE HER BODY TO LAY IN A POOL OF HER OWN BLOOD!" We start panting in our rage, only to calm down and collapse in a wet mess of tears, realizing no pony is there to hear us. We are alone...
It's something unbearable to think about. Banished on the moon, nothing to do, no one to talk to but yourself. The one place that could truly drive a pony insane. We've been wandering the moon for... what, a couple days? We cannot tell. It is hard to calculate time when on the moon with nothing else to tell time but the sun and the site of Equestria, but even with those two, you cannot easily tell.
"Aww. Princess got the blues?" I look around frantically trying to locate where the voice came from when I see a meteor land right in front of me. I start to go a little closer when an eye pops out of it, causing me to jump.
"I...Identify thyself!" Just then, the meteor's eye blinks before taking the form of our former enemy.
"You don't recognize me? I'd consider myself an old friend."
"DISCORD!!!" I aim my horn at him about to use my magic when he stops me by somehow coming up from behind.
"Relax! I heard about that fight you had with your sister. It's a shame, really."
"What doest thou need from us?"
"I've only come to say that we aren't too different now. I mean, just think."
"And thou means what?"
"Like I was saying, think. You've been banished to the moon by that wretched sister of yours."
"She is not..."
"Why do you think she did this? Is it because she loathes you? Because you had a craving for something, perhaps attention from some ponies towards your rather beautiful nights?"
"You like my nights..?"
"Or is it because she knew your potential?"
"Wh...What is the meaning of this?"
"I'm saying, I know you are powerful. You are probably stronger than her. She may be bigger, but she's older. If there's anything you and I both know, it's that unicorn magic fades as time goes on. You are possibly the strongest pony in this universe!"
"Th...That is true..."
"Come on, Luna. It's you and me on this lonely rock." He puts his hands on my shoulders and looks me in the eye. "Once you get off of this piece of shit, we'll be able to fulfill your wish."
"What wish?"
"Oh, you know. Clipping her wings" He pulls off his blue wings with one motion and drops them. "Saw off her horn." He waves his hand in the air and a saw comes from no where. He then saws off his antlers before the saw changes to a sword. "And behead her." He slices his neck, letting his body drop and his head fall right in front of me. I start getting confused when the mouth starts to move with eyes wide open. "That wish. You know, when you first woke up." Then the thought comes to me.
"Well, I guess..."
"Don't worry you'll be fine. I'll take care of you. After days of roaming this rock, you must be hungry." Our stomach growls. Discord grabs a moon rock and changes it to a shiny, red apple. "Trust me. It's a real apple." He hands it over to me. Hesitantly, I start to think. "Tick, tock, tick, tock..." I make my decision with a smile.
"Okay." I take the apple and eat it in awe of it's real taste. A feeling of joy washes over me. "Wow. This is the best thing we've had in days!"
"Whenever you need something, just stop your hoof."
"Okay."
"I have a feeling this is going to be a great partnership."
"Me too." We enjoy the company for a little while before we get a feeling of regret for making an alliance with our greatest enemy in a plot to kill our sister. It only lasts a while before Discord disappears off to do his own thing. We take in a moment to attempt to make sense of what is really going on and why we are really here.
And you are being stuck on the moon like the rest of us, trying to make sense of it crying cause we don't have any reason we're alone together, cause we all share the very same crime<(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)>
We don't know how long it has been, but we have been roaming this bucking hell hole for a really long time and it's become quite boring for some time. The only entertainment we got was when we stomped a hoof for Discord to get some food for me. Sometimes We even asked for something to entertain our mind so he told us about some things he did, how it's going down in Equestria, and even caused some chaos on the moon. Some of the things he did was really entertaining. Especially when Screwball visited. It got old though and now I kind of have nothing to do. Except for one thing. Fall into a huge crater with a hole in the center glowing bright as Celestia's eyes when she cast me here.
I go to investigate the hole to find a princess sized, black, distorted looking pony trapped in an amber chamber, eyes closed as if she were asleep. I go to get a closer look before jumping back in surprise as the eyes flip open. The poor pony-like creature is panting with a look of fear on her face as she gazes around trying to find out where she is. She then looks to me and starts banging on the walls of the chamber, shouting. I can't hear her, but I can tell she's pleading for help. Unable to stay there and watch, I use my magic to crack the amber, seeing a smile spread across her face. The amber explodes into millions of pieces with the alicorn-ish creature bursting out, spreading her wings, flying around in joy before coming down to hug me tight.
"Thank you so much! I do not know who you are, but you are very kind. Thank you so much for freeing me from that amber prison!" We gasp for air when she squeezes us tight for a second before letting go. Only after gasping for our breath do we get a better look at her.
"You're... You're a bug?" She gets an appalled look.
"I am a Queen Chrysalis of the changelings."
"Changelings?" Just then, an army of her minions burst out of the crater. Soon enough, we see what she means.
"We travel the universe finding prey to feed off of. We feed off of the love of other creatures to make ourselves more powerful. We've seen more than you have on this rock. If you help us, I can show you the many things we have seen on our travels! You could gain more knowledge about the universe!" We start to think again.
"What's in it for us other than knowledge?"
"Are you alone?"
"Sometimes a friend visits me, but that's occasionally."
"I can be good company despite my revolting looks." We start to ponder again before our answer is brought out.
"Hit us with that knowledge."
"Gladly." Chrysalis uses her magic horn and touches it to ours and just then, the whole universe flashes before me. Many different lands, the different plants, foods, and creatures that no pony would never have known about. We received a forbidden knowledge that now only we hold and sure to hell it is bucking amazing to know so much!
"..."
"At a loss of words?"
"We are." Chrysalis chuckles.
"I bet. The universe is an amazing place. It only takes one individual brave enough to explore it." The following days, we all decide to form moon bases in case we ever need a place to rest for a bit. However, we still won't know truly where we are on this lunar piece of shit. Some of us say it won't last much longer. Other parts of us say if we try to endure, we cant go wrong. Then it hits us again that we might never leave this boulder and that we're always going to lose track of time and space. Sometimes, we wonder why we even created this rock. It feels like a mental facility most of the time. We're just glad we got some friends to keep us sane.
Some will say that this is not going to last long some will say that if we try we can't go wrong as time goes on we are not leaving this place cause when we'll come back we lose our track of time and space<(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)>
It's probably been years because we feel that we've been here forever. Chrysalis kept us company the whole time making our stay on the moon not suck so much ass. We've even expanded the army a little because it was looking a little short. Discord still visits occasionally supplying us both with food. Although, Discord doesn't really need to entertain us anymore. Both Chrysalis and we somehow find to keep each other entertained whether it be molding moon rocks into pony and changeling warriors and animating them to fight a miniature war, or just goofing around with each other. Chrysalis sure did show us a good time. Now, we're starting to enjoy our stay on the moon. Our friends keep us busy and keep us feeling like the one who should have complete dominion over Equestria. I love them.
Our thoughts are interrupted when we find a shooting star off in the distance. Chrysalis and I stare at it with smiles that turn to frowns as we realize it is headed towards us. We burst out our wings and head inside our closest moon base for shelter as the moon shakes horrifically at the impact. We investigate the crash site to find a black pony in armor with what looks like a crown and a red glowing horn. He is panting in massive pain with a torn up and all out bloody body.
"Changelings! Bring him inside!" A platoon of changelings swarm the pony and drag him inside the lunar base where we get closer looks at his wounds. The pony mumbles.
"Damn...Pr..." He gasps in pain as we start using our magic to seal up his wounds.
"Don't worry. You'll be fine." His gasping turns to relief as his wounds start to fully seal.
"Th...Thank you, strangers."
"What happened to you?" The stallion gets up.
"I...I'm King Sombra. I used to rule the Emerald Kingdom until that Damned princess showed up and stripped me from the throne. Shot me in a loop around the solar system to here. Thought it would kill me." We come a little closer in curiosity.
"Which princess?" King Sombra looks us straight in the eyes.
"Princess Cadence. Had a little help getting me shot around the system from Princess Celestia." That's when we snap.
"My sister!" King Sombra raises an eyebrow.
"You're what?"
"THAT DAMNED MOTHER BUCKING SON OF A SEA PONY!" Chrysalis and King Sombra struggle to stay standing at the force of my Canterlot voice. "That is it! Sombra! How well are you at war planning and strategy?"
"Umm....Very, miss..." We go with our current name.
"Nightmare Moon."
"Nightmare...Moon?"
"Yes. Now shut the buck up and let's get plotting. Princess Celestia will pay for her crime!"
The next years are spent plotting to use all of our magic combined to move the stars to a certain position to aid in our escape. We remembered one time when we were play fighting with sister using our magic abilities. We accidentally hurt her that day. Four stars were aligned and my power was enhanced. I was more powerful than Celestia, yet still weaker than the elements of harmony. With all of our magic combined, we are able to move the stars into alignment, but it only works in specific areas on the moon. It took the rest of the thousand years to align them.
So together we are all lost on the moon we all share our home on the moon, we forever we are lost on the moon, together we pay your crime on the moon<(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)><(:)>
We formed the perfect plan together. We were prepared for everything that would happen. Every pony but me. When the mane six hit us with the spectrum ray, Celestia came and her words were more powerful than I remembered. She cracked our immense hatred towards her. We confessed the plan to her during the celebration at the hillside. Discord's failure, his reformation, it was all planned. Chrysalis's failure along with the changelings, all planned. King Sombra's failure, also planned. They will all return. But they aren't the ultimate threat.
Before the stars aligned creating a bridge from the moon to home, a shadow in the form of a small unicorn approached us. we only had a split second to see it. There was some dark aura surrounding it. An evil feeling hung in the air. An evil that is not explainable. We saw a dark glow of blood red eyes. we weren't able to see the pony's face, but the shape told us it was a mare. With the feeling we got, this pony would bring death and destruction. We told every single detail to big sister. With this whole confession, Celestia is brought into shock.
"Father told us about the forbidden chamber in Canterlot, remember? He told us there was the final prophecy that we weren't supposed to see until the time came that we should."
"Are you saying we should take a look?"
"I'm afraid so." We both get up and go to the party to relax a little, but soon enough, the time comes.
"Are you ready?" We nod yes before looking to a giant, dusty and rusty door that has been sealed since time began. We point our horns to these two holes on the door and insert our horns. We use our magic causing the door to react by illuminating in a divine pattern of curls and complex patterns. The door slowly opens causing tremors as it creaks wider and wider. There is a staircase spiraling downwards into a deep descent. It takes a lifetime, but we soon reach the bottom. There is a big mural on the wall with candles surrounding it with pony heads with missing eyes at the base. The mural is that same unicorn I saw before I left, gazing down at the world burning. This causes us both to go wide-eyed.
"Holy shit." We exchange glances.
"Prepare Twilight to be fitted for wings. she must become a princess to help prevent this disaster." We both head out of the room after receiving the dark vision.
Unfortunately, we did not know that our actions only brought us closer to ultimate doom. It is inevitable. At some point the world must end. We must either be prepared to face it, or it will consume us and send our lives spiraling downward into chaos and self-destruction. We cannot stop it from happening. The only thing we can do is be wise enough to know when to be prepared, and that, would be every second of your life.
Trust us. Your life depends on it.
