My entry for Indigo Eclipse's New Year's Shipping Challenge!

After an unfortunate, though well-meaning, change in dialogue by an eyepatch-sporting time traveller, Twilight Sparkle is left with an unscientifically-possible other her in her library!
The mare from the future cannot get back, and is understandably upset at the prospect.
But through their efforts to find a solution, and by (awkwardly) helping each other to see just how worthwhile they both are, might the displaced mare find a reason to stay?

You already know the outcome of Twilight Sparkle’s misadventures with time travel.

Of how she didn’t let her future self deliver her message;

Of how she mobilised Ponyville’s residents to “disaster-proof” the town;

Of how she almost descended into a state of madness as she tried to monitor everything;

And how she finally sought answers from the texts of Starswirl, only to realise that the whole debacle was her own fault, and her subsequent failure to inform her past self of her folly.

But what if?

What if this time, in this time stream, some of the events unfolded differently?
