Being a major gamer in Canterlot, PewDiePie is quite popular throughout Equestria. Ponies everywhere view his videos. Reading through the comments on one of his horror game playthrough videos, the brown unicorn finds one requesting that he play a real horror game with him the main character. Interested in what the comment means, he responds back. The writer requests that he go on his own little horror game adventure in Equestria's abandoned insane asylum, located in the very heart of the Everfree Forest. Up to the challenge, the brown gamer pony heads out, promising to take note on what he goes through and record it back later.

As the confident unicorn arrives, it goes well at first. But when he discovers a small "drink" that's left out for him at the entrance of the asylum, everything changes. After drinking the liquid, he finds himself in a dark room of the asylum and can't remember anything of why he's there or where he is. Unsure of how to escape, he processes through the asylum, knowing he must find a way out. But can this game player survive until the end?
