Zeroes to Heroes

by RLYoshi
Humans are considered great warriors. So what happens when the summoned human is a clumsy teenager?

Humans. Known far and wide as Equestrian myths. Revered for their strength, loved for their wisdom, admired for their bravery. More powerful than the princesses, or even the Elements of Harmony. So when Princess Celestia learns of a great threat to all of ponykind that her faithful student would not be able to stop, it makes sense to look for a human and bring him or her to Equestria to combat it. Surely they would be a great warrior that could stop this rising evil.

Instead, they get Rylan Watch, an 18-year-old high school dropout who spends his days playing video games and practicing archery. His parents are dead and he spends his life alone, wishing he had a way to fix things. Now could be his chance. Will he be able to stop the incoming darkness that threatens the world? Can he make a life for himself in this pony world? Or will he screw things up again and be forced into loneliness once more?

Can a zero like him become the hero Equestria needs?
