The company

Twilight sparkle looked up at the odd star that had orbited Equus for the month, when she saw another blink of light head for it. The telescope was powerful but whatever was up there was either very small, or very far away, she continued gathering in detail what was happening as the second star left it and started shooting almost imperceptibally small stars at the bigger one. Soon, it erupted in a flurry of light as it was split in half and fell towards the ground, the first half seemed to be headed for the everfree forest while the rest fell into the badlands. Quickly getting a pen and quill she wrote down what she saw and asked Spike to send it, but noticed that another star had appeared, this one almost large enough to make out some details, then saw it fire some sort of magic beam at the rear section of the small one, making it tumble into the first half, burying itself in the hull before being violently torn away when the ship crashed...
