Frost and flame (Chapter one) the phoenix [Fixed a bit.]

Pinkie Pie: ''HAHAHAHAHA THERE'S A BANANA ON YOUR HEAD!''
Rainbow Dash ''Only because you, SHOT IT AT ME!'' she shouted trying her best to keep herself from laughing.

hmm the ponies over there are always having some sort of fun Snow shard thought to himself peering out at pinkie and dash from a tree top. Hi i'm Snow shard the frozen phoenix pony, i have lived out of sight and away from other ponies ever since i can remember. i came from the phoenix pony kingdom we were not really against being with the other ponies, but the phoenix ponies have never shown the fact we even exist to outside ponies so nopony knows we do or should i say did. I am the last phoenix pony i know of so far, i remember were i came from just not much about it. I'm not all that good at meeting other ponies and have this fear that they will not like me much for me and maybe just a little the fact i can make a strange fire--as my name would hint--it freezes things, strange huh? Only maybe last week did i see the ponies down there having fun and good times after i thought about it i decided i would watch them when i am bored. That brings us here, i don't even know their names but they are fun to watch.

Rainbow Dash: ''Yeah
well if your done shooting bananas at me i should get going, there's a storm tomorrow and the weather team is gonna put it together early because tomorrow is my, and some others day off. See ya pinkie'' She said before flying off. pinkie waived Pinkie Pie: ''bye dash'' she then turned around to trot off.

Snow Shard jumped up doing a mid air back flip then spread his wings flying off back to Everfree. He then landed on a cliff his claws making a light scrapping sound as they hit the rock, standing on the rock the sun beamed down on him giving a full look at his phoenix pony form Snow Shard was a phoenix pony his wings were bigger then the wings of any normal pegasus also more birdlike green and blue feathers blue at the backs of his wings green up front. his green mane with a shade of blue that was hanging in his face covering one side of it most of time. Despite being a stallion Snow shard had a thin streamline form with his blue coat sure his slender lack-muscle body was strange for a stallion and from time to time back in the Phoenix Pony Kingdom he may have been mistaken for a mare but the wind resistance was decreased and he liked to go fast his green and blue eyes gleamed in the light of the sun on his fore-hooves he had ice like claws four per hove, he had made use of this many times as it was a useful tool for climbing and fighting on his flank rested the image of a green Phoenix feather with a blue shine at the center symbolizing his speed and pride a pair of blue goggles lay around his neck with green lenses he did not know were he got them just they were important. [if this was not a good enough description of Snow shard his picture is the art for this.]

Looking out he saw it would be sunset in just a few hours. What now he thought. nothing else to do guess i will practice, what today? Hmm ah! the stall drop. Opening his wings Snow shard took flight going straight up until he thought he was high enough then closed his wings and crossed his hooves over his chest falling straight down he waited until the count of five then reopened his wings and spread his hooves like a second pair of wings doing three spins to the right he then looped once recovering in a few seconds now flying straight he began his practice run, dodging oncoming trees and rocks then flying at a large bolder and just before making contact changed direction upwards evading the rock then at the top doing three more spins continuing his training until nightfall.

At the end of of training for the day snow sat on to forest floor when suddenly his stomach growled
Snow Shard:"time for dinner i guess." he said as he walked off. After 30 minuets or so he came to a stop he knew this place, when he was hungry he would often come here to get an apple or two this place was called Sweet Apple Acres. Grabbing an apple he walked off thinking to himself need to get some food tomorrow.

The next day Snow woke up nothing seemed out of order. Being that Everfree was such a dangerous place he would not normally sleep in the same place more then twice. Today he found himself in a dark and rather large cave he knew it was dangerous to sleep in a cave such as this one for fear a dragon may inhabit the cave however the echo of places like this one would put him right to sleep at night with no problem the caves dripping water mixed with the echo was just perfect for him. Standing up he took a quick look around the cave to be sure nothing had come in while he was asleep after finding nothing out of place he shook his head in order to clear his mind and ready himself for whatever today could throw at him his green and blue mane swung back and forth as he shook his head. As he was finishing a thought came to him Snow Shard"i should go down to the stream." he had been using a nearby stream to bathe for the last 3 weeks or so, plus the water would help him fully wake. He was making his way out of the cave when he heard the sound of a growl he knew this sound and with the help of his wings he jumped from the mouth of the cave to a nearby tree top looking down at the place he was once standing he saw just what he was expecting a timber-wolf. Soon after two more timber-wolfs were at first ones side after looking around the three wolfs entered the cave. Done with that cave. Snow thought to himself.

After making sure the wolfs would not see him Snow Shard made his way to the stream and now stood by it
Snow Shard: ''add find new house to the list.'' Well i will work on that later bath now. Jumping in to the air Snow aimed right at the stream and dived in. It was not that deep but just deep enough to swim. Coming up his wet mane flopped back his coat now wet shined in the morning sun looking at himself Snow said with a smile
Snow Shard: ''Damn i'm hot ha ha.'' then spreading his wings he carefully stroked them in order to clean them. He did the best he could, Snow loved his wings being able to fly or fly fast was something he loved more then life it's self. The stream was in the middle of two forest sections perhaps the only place in Everfree that the sun would shine. Making the stream glisten in it's light also making it a warm and nice place for Snow to go from time to time.

After finishing and shaking himself almost dry Snow sat down next to the stream in the sun to dry further. He thought he would take this time to think about what to do next. Hmm need to get some food and find a house that house thing will be the problem won't it? Snow knew how to get food after living here for a bit he knew what was bad and good to eat in Everfree as far as plants go but in here finding a house was, difficult no telling what may lay in caves. Sometimes he used old timber-wolf dens in the past but one time he had found out the one he had been using was not so abandon that little encounter left him reluctant to do that unless needed REALLY BAD if need be he could also use a cloud. He was not able to do anything about the weather like a pegasus but he could walk on clouds like one, but that was a problem as well somepony might see him if he was drifting in the sky. Oh well food first then he set off in search of food.

After finding what he was looking for in the way of food he came across a large bolder with a hole in it. Wonder how big that hole is. He thought flying up to it
Snow Shard: ''big enough'' he said climbing in. He then placed the food he collected in a second hole inside the bolder it was now mid day. He made up his mind he would go spy [I MEAN] watch the ponies he would go see when he was bored. Then he remembered the rainbow maned one saying something about a storm today. He decided to stay near his new house and soon it was poring outside
Snow Shard:''thank the moon a made that call.'' he said. Don't look like it will clear up anytime soon guess i will just sit in here. (after 5 minutes.)
Snow Shard: "this is Boring!"

Sorry this took so long if anyone was waiting. As if ha ha anyway it took sometime to sort things out this is my first fic on here. I made a death note fic once and it was loved i thought i would try this too if you have something to say about this story it is welcome but i pay no mind to dudes who are trying to pick a fight. hope you like it if not that's cool maybe it's not your thing maybe you did not like how i made it or wrote it that's cool too at least it killed some time right?.....yeah time lets go with that. Well i fixed the story a bit i think it is good but i'm trying so hard i fear i missed something so please keep telling me if you see something wrong thanks i plan to explain more on phoenix ponies later in.
