Frost and flame (chapter three) Cursed phoenix

"no!" Snow said eyes returning to normal.
"but why not, it's dangerous here don't you care about your race?" Twilight asked somewhat angrily.
"hehehe" Snow laughed a strange smile crossing his face.
"what?" Twilight asked now a small bit disturbed by his face.
"oh nothing just, i don't really need to be in the royal palace to 'get it on' if you catch my drift" Twilight then stared at him confused until it finally hit her
"oh OH! oh umm yes i see what you mean" she said blushing slightly at her realization . Rainbow holding back on laughing covered her mouth with her hooves a small giggle escaping for a moment.
"w-well that's not what i, meant" Twilight said defensively.
"whatever you say" Snow almost braking out in laughter at the blushing mare. "i guess you just think that the amazing student of princess Celestia can't handle returning a endangered species" he said egging her on.
"NO! i-i could do it NOT that i'm going to w-with you what a mean is!" that was it Snow Shard and Rainbow Dash burst out laughing at Twilight.
"nice one!" Rainbow said while still laughing, this kept up for about 2 minutes before they stopped.

"ah that was fun" Snow said catching his breath.
"well if your done with that" Twilight said a hint of anger in her voice. "i'd like to be a bit more professorial. ahem i Twilight Sparkle, would like to extend an official invitation to you, Snow Shard to join me and my friends in a trip to the royal palace tomorrow after i explain things to the princess"
"and i Snow Shard would like to know why i should do so" he said with eyes that told her to go to hell.
"well there's food, you could get a soft bed, get to meet the princess and get to see canterlot" she said with a smile.
"ugh look i just don't see why i should go to all that i'm fine here not dead yet right?" he said cooling down a bit now seeing she was not luring him in to something.
"but-" Twilight was cut off by Applejack
"look Twi i know your doing what ya can here but we need sompony else to do it i reckon i know who too"
"who?" she said now looking at AJ
"in the short time we knew this guy he's out flown Rainbow, pretty much told ya ta back the hell up and made a dirty joke at ya. way ah see it we need a pro" she said with her hove on Twilight's shoulder.
"who" she repeated.
"her" Applejack said pointing a hove at the sky just as Twilight was about to ask, something came out of the sky landing right in front of her.
"me!" Pinkie jumped out of the crater she made when landing. "hi girls! were have you all been? oh and who is that he has claws COOL! hi pony i don't know"
"sup"
"Pinkie?" Twilight said still trying to understand what just happened.
"yeah?"
"how did you"
"a cannon"
"i see" Twilight said still trying understand.
"Pinkie that pony over there is the last of his kind so we want to take him to see the princess you need to give him a reason to go there" Applejack stated the problem
"ooky doky loky" she said hoping over to Snow after some talking they were to far away for the rest to understand and Pinkie pointing at Twilight a few times they came back.
"fine i will go, i guess" Snow said. Twilight had given up on trying to understand Pinkie's ways and said ok .
"well then come with us" Twilight said starting off towards home.
"nah" came her reply.
"what"Twilight said confused.
"i will meet you all at the train station tomorrow. Snow said turning to walk away.
"but i thought you worked it out with him Pinkie" Twilight now looking at Pinkie
"yeah but he wants to sleep here don't worry he pinkie promised" she smiled.
"fine" Twilight said worried.

the next day they all sat waiting at the station. "were is he" Twilight said.
"look up" came a voice. sure enough he was flying above them landing he joined them. the ticket master was a bit taken back by the fact Snow had claws but only a bit he had seen stranger things. as the train ride went on Twilight could not think of anything to talk to Snow about. the others did not have such a problem as Snow talked about air tricks with Rainbow that seemed impossible to Twilight, went to the dining car to get something to eat with Applejack, talked about animals of the forest with Fluttershy, talked with Pinkie about her party's and how her mane smelled delicious and how she got the angle of the cannon right yesterday also speaking with Rarity about the color of his and any other phoenix ponies feathers. after a bit of doing nothing he sighed he then looked at Twilight "hey"
"what" Twilight replied with a smile
"don't let anypony brake my focus or you all might freeze to death and if you need to do so, do it carefully"
"freeze to death!" Twilight said in fear
"calm down calm down i'm just going to work on my control of my power like meditation but if i lose control it may get out of hove get it?"
"yeah i got it" Twilight said calming herself Snow smiled then sat upright. closing his eyes he saw four balls of light and began to move them one by one. Twilight gazed at him as four balls of blue flame danced and moved around him until they stopped he then made the balls converge in to one that changed shape as if it had a will of this own taking on many forms such as a bird, a spear, a ball of spikes and even Twilight herself she liked that one a lot then it vanished and he opened his eyes.

"ah that was fun" Snow said proud of his work.
"that was amazing i have never seen fire control like that how did you do that"
"natural power of my race"
"wow do you think i could learn it?"
"well maybe it would not be as easy as it is for me but your a unicorn so it's not impossible with some work"
"could you show me?"
"that could take years"
"well can you tell me the basic of it"
"sure" after 7 minutes of talking with Twilight they pulled up to the station in Canterlot, after getting off the train Twilight smiled and said
"welcome to Canterlot Snow Shard"
" you can call me Snow if you want"
"ok Snow "Twilight smiled feeling like she has made a new friend today although she was still thinking how Snow and the princess would meet she still did not know why he was so unhappy about going to the palace. she thought about asking him but she did not want to keep the princess waiting because she was always so busy and had taken time to see them on the clam they had found an endangered species in Everfree forest so keeping her waiting was no option so against her better judgement they continued on. after getting to the palace they were stopped by the guards.
"what is it" Twilight asked the guards they motioned towards Snow. "oh him he is an endangered species we are taking him to the princess" they nodded and let them by. entering the palace Twilight could feel Snow shiver behind her as they walked. soon they were in front of the princess's study as she opened the doors she felt a chill behind her she knew this from before Snow was getting ready to use his powers before she could turn to face Snow she heard a voice she knew vary well.

"welcome Twilight Sparkle"
"hello Princess Celestia" she said worried about what could happen when Snow entered
"and hello to the rest of you as well please come in it's nice to see you all agai-" she stopped when she made eye contact with Snow Shard "it's you again" she said with concern getting up in a hurry starting to move towards Snow
"stay back" he said ice now forming around him as the air became visible with frost
"Snow!" Twilight said in shock and anger the princess stopped with a sad yet hurt look in her eyes
"it's ok Twilight i know why he's doing that" she said looking at Snow "please i am sorry for what did just let me" she moved closer with a crackle a shot of blue flame swung in front of her forcing her to back up Twilight then saw the once blue flame flash green and back to blue
"whoa there Snow mind tellin us all what the hey is goin on?"
"we have met before" Celestia sadly started "i have met him once he came here to find me however there was a changeling in the palace that we had learned of, we knew it was on it's way to the throne room to find me so the doors were locked as i readied a spell to detour the changeling we heard a knock at the door and knew it was him trying to get in cloaked as a pony. we opened the door and i used the spell it worked i saw him, but he did not change back he got up and ran the spell was one of mental magics to make the target fear the caster and i was the caster we chased after him and found something we did not expect we saw the changeling dead he was cut from what looked like claws and more over he was flash frozen with what we thought was the changeling standing over it he then jumped out the window and flew off before i could do anything and here he now stands"
"is that true? then Snow just let the princess take the spell off you"
"he can not"
"what" Twilight said confused
"i can't let her near me the spell is still on me i don't blame her for anything but i can't control the mind shattering fear i have of her i'm at my limit just looking at her" he said with an angered and fearful look.
"oh" Twilight said now seeing why he did not want to come here "well what if we hold you while she fix's it?"
"i may kill you all"
"i-i see what if princess Luna-"
"i'm not going to put anypony in danger of my power killing them"
"but princess Luna is an alicorn"
"i don't know if she can or can't stop me i won't have her risk her life"
"well there has got to be someway"
"oh wait" Snow said thinking "there may be. can't believe i never thought of it" he said turning away from them walking over to a flower vase not looking at the princess he asked "is this important?"
"huh? well no i guess not"
"good" Snow said grabbing the vase "see you in a bit" he said they all looked at him in confusion but before anypony could move to stop him he took the vase and smashed it on his head hitting the ground with a thud

sorry this was short. again i'm not going for perfect grammar just want you to be able to read it so if that's the problem just say. oh and if VinylScratchQ1 is reading this thank you for being kind enough to offer your help but i now see this as a way to make the story my own way and take the good and bad of it but thanks. i still fear i made mistakes with this but i'm paranoid so yeah.
