As I explained the cartoon imitation of Equestria, Luna's expression was part intrigue, part wonderment. I finished my rather brief summary of Friendship is Magic, and I noticed Luna's reaction to this; a lot like my own, if I had been in her shoes. She was running questions through her head, analyzing everything, trying to form answers.

"Well, the only thing I can think of is some sort of magic echo has occured, and this Lauren Faust is picking up on it."

I responded with my affirmation of the fact that I had no idea how magic worked, so I couldn't help. I decided to ask one question as tactfully as I could.

"Say, Luna; You're not quite an adult yet, are you?"

She glanced at me with an amused expression. "Ooh, isn't this one the perceptive sort! No, I am not. but being immortal causes the growth process to be the slightest bit slowed." I caught the understatement implied.

"I'm not quite an adult myself, so I guess that makes both of us." Luna gave a grin at learning that we were in essence of similar age and maturity, and we walked on.

After a little while longer of Luna sifting her mind for possible answers to the MLP:FiM conundrum, we had finally made it into the main hall, where we saw Princess Celestia. Luna leaned in to my ear again and said, "I'll tell her later." She was first to greet her sister; the two exchanged a few pleasantries. Deciding to forgo the formalities my brain was telling me that I should perform, I wished the solar princess a good morning.

"And good morning to you, my little pony." She put the faintest hint of emphasis onto the last word, and I flashed a quick smile to show I'd caught it.

"I trust you're adapting well? I would have never have expected this to happen, but I must say that the magic you posses is far from sub-par."

"Really? Oh, I mean, Yes, Princess"--This garnered a chiding look from Celestia-- "I'm quite alright. It was a bit shocking at first, but what average human could argue with a set of wings?" In extension to this I unfolded my wings into the ready position and flared them.

Something very faint passed over the face of both princesses for an instant, but it came and went far too fast to be recognized as anything, so I just ignored it.

"That's good to hear. I thought you might like to know about the current state of your magic flow. To put it simply, it's not. Your magic is all locked up again, but this time it's awakened. You'll have to pick one of two options for this. The first is the simplest. It's a periodical magic therapy via massage to loosen the bonds to allow for short periods of flow."

"Sounds alright, but it seems to me it's just a management plan. What about the other one?" I asked.

Celestia took a breath. "It involves letting the pressure caused by the lack of flow build until whatever is restraining it shatters. This is a very intense experience, again, so I'm told. You'll want to give in to some sort of vent many times, but the end result of this process is permanent unrestrained flow."

I pondered each of these options for a moment. It was deja vu; that therapeutic massage ended up with me almost right back where I started. Same as last time, I picked the more intensive action.

"I thought as much." Celestia grinned at me. "This time, I don't have to arrange anything for you. It's all in your own hooves this time. I've got to get to the throne room now--" Celestia rolled her eyes and gave a bored look before raising a hoof to the side of her mouth and speaking softly, "Royal court-- boring!" I gave a little chuckle. She returned to her normal stance before offering the locations of each of the elements. "Fluttershy is in the gardens, Rarity is in one of the suites tailoring, Applejack is with Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash-- heavens only know where she is at the moment-- and Twilight Sparkle is-- guess where?"

I cracked a smile and chuckled again. "The library?"

"You guessed it!" said the solar princess. "I've got to go now. See you later!"

I was wowed with the even more casual than last time attitude of the stewardess of the sun. At this time Luna decided to speak up.

"It's been a pleasure, but I really must get to bed. Good day!"

As the lunar princess strode towards her chambers, I thought of who I should talk to first. I decided upon Twilight, seeing as she was the most near and generally the one I knew best at this point. I started towards the library...
