The Void... is all I... feel...
Nothingness... nothingness everywhere... not even color... no black abyss...
Just the never ending void...
I vaguely remember what it felt like... to feel...

“Princess Luna.” is that, “Its been a thousand years since I have seen you like this.”IT IS!... a thousand... years... “Time to put our differences behind us. We were meant to rule together, little sister.” I never wanted it any other way... “Will you accept my friendship?”
“I’m so sorry! I missed you so much, big sister.” more than I could possibly say.
“We should go back Princess.” the lavender mare told Celestia.
“Yes we should. Would you mind leaving before us, its been a long time. I would like to talk to Luna.” Celestia replied.
“Of course. Come on girls lets go.”
“I never wanted what happened, all I wanted was to help...” I blurted without thought.
“I waited... the silence was, unnerving.”
“Oh Luna...
“I know you did... I tried to keep history truthful... but I failed, I could have forced a change but... I would have been a tyrant then... I’m sorry.” She said with the same look of sorrow on her face.
“You have no reason to be sorry. It was my fault for falling for its trickery. I am sorry.”
“Oh little sister, you do not need to apologize... but there is a need for my apology... our subjects think you choose to do this... they don’t know about the darkness... that took control.”
“I do not care what others think of me now, I will prove myself somehow... All we need to worry about now is how we are leaving. I do believe I cannot fly, just yet.” I tried cheering her up.
“Hmm I suppose.” she said with a snicker, It worked, “Don’t worry, the nobles these days are so stuck up and focused on ‘proper decor’, they don’t let me fly anywhere without an escort and carriage.”
“Oh Tia, I missed you so much.”
“I missed you too, Lulu.”
“Tia?”
“Yes Luna.”
“Why is it that you seem to tower over me?”
“Oh that...” she cracked a... smile? “I’ll show you when we get home... and I find a mirror.”

“Uh, can you also explain why you said one thousand years?”

“WHAT!” I screamed out after hearing that the elements couldn’t free me under Celestia’s control alone, and that I was trapped for one thousand years as she has said.
“I know its a lot to take in, but after we stop at Ponyville, we can go home and catch up with each other.”
“Yes. That would be lovely” I am scarred for what I may find out... for I have not changed much... but she... she has had a thousand years to change.
A blur is occupied my senses for I had too many thoughts to decipher though. Our castle... has it changed, what will our, no, her subjects think of me and my return...They will not be mine just yet. Too many are floating around in an unwanted chaos, including the one who saved me... I had a feeling I would have to prove myself, but now I doubt I can.
She said they were celebrating the longest day of the year. I wonder if the winter solstice is celebrated still. Not likely.
When we arrived I was given a necklace of flowers. Tis odd on how food and garden occupiers are now jewelry. I still accepted even though the strangeness was... well strange.
The lavender mare spoke to Celestia again. She was sadden by the thought of leaving. Sad to leave her friends...
Now none of my friends besides Celestia are... here. I have much to do.

I believe I fell asleep on the way to the castle. I must be in Celestia’s room. What other reason would there be to have cutie mark on all the furniture.
“You’re awake.” A familiar voice floated over. “I was wondering when you would” With a stretch, I sat up to a very concerned Celestia.
“Bad dream?”
“No... a nightmare.” The silence is painful...
“How long was I asleep?”
“Oohh a day or two. I lost count.”
“Ha! LIE! I couldn’t have!”
“I’m kidding.” She snickered. “Its been about three days and six hours. You awoke just in time for dinner. Would you care to join me?”
“Really Tia?”
“Uh, no. Its only been eight hours. Would you still care to join me?”
“Of course. Why would I turn down dinner with you. Your Majestie”
“Oh stop it. You know how much I despise that title.”
“I know. I know... But tis still hilarious to tease you.”
“What is for dinner?”
“Probably some fancy five course meal even though I only asked for a small, simple dish.”
The corridors are all the same. The decorations have changed only slightly.
Is that a hole? If so that is horrible patch work on the stone. I’ll need to check with Tia.
Apparently we took the scenic route. We were both silent through the corridors.
At least until we passed the guest chambers.
“They missed you dearly Luna.” but I failed them. “Star Swirl and Clover looked for ways to release you for years.”
“I still failed them.”
“No. You were a victim. Don’t blame yourself.”
“Your majesties. I came to tell you the ambassadors have arrived.”

Pen Point. A golden hued stallion. Must be the currier. I’ll have to remember that.
