Storm Rider

I  open my eyes slowly bright sunlight, tinged slightly green, assaults my senses, I sit up slowly. "Damn it's cold" I look down rubbing the sleep out of my eyes and see the long karate-style pants I wear to sleep, lightly dusted with dirt and a few leaves sitting proudly atop them. I open my eyes wide and take note of my surroundings, I'm sitting in the middle of a large forest with no one around. "ok this is definitely not my bedroom" I murmur to myself.

I stand rubbing some dirt off of my pants, and I feel something brush against my leg, I whirl around quickly and look around but can't see anything, I feel the brushing again, I pat the back of my leg and feel something soft and silky, I twist to look behind me and notice a large tail hanging from my waist,and a large pair of wings that slowly fade from brown near the base to black near the tips, my eyes widen slightly " ok so that's new" I tug on them but stop when I feel a sharp pain in my back, I also notice that my darkly tanned skin has now gained a light coating of darkish brown fur with a lighter patch over my abdominal muscles, I run my hands through my hair, as I do I notice my messy curly  dark brown hair has now turned perfectly straight and jet black with the exception of a few messy spikes and some red streaks, and my ears, my ears had become longer and pointed like and elf's or... Like a horse "Oh my god this day just keeps getting weirder... But if it gets me out of school I'm cool with it" I grin and start to walk in a random direction
