New Age

It was a cold morning in Ponyville, Twilight Sparkle was dusting of some old books she recently had found deep in the library’s basement. She was quickly dusting them of before she used her magic to sort them. Normally she would ask Spike, her baby dragon assistant to do this, but she had lent him to Derpy who had needed him to help with the mail. Twilight was starting to dust off a black book with a lock in white gold, she could feel a powerful and well known aura from the book “Celestia!” she said to her self, “I wonder why she has locked this.” Twilight had always been a pony that loved to learn new things, and a book locked by none other than Celestia her self, she just had to know what was in it. A bright purple aura formed around her horn as she concentrated on the lock. “Ouch!!!!” She screamed out as a bright energy wave flew out from the book knocking Twilight hard to the ground. “ She must really not want anyone to find out what’s in the book.” “Luckily this spell isn’t nearly as strong as some of her new spells, must have been a long time since she cast it.” Twilight stomped her hoof down on the library’s floor and a even brighter purple aura formed around her horn and the book. She could sense that the book was sending another shockwave out so she formed a force field around the book, and just when the bright shockwave shot out of the book, she quickly shrunk the force field, countering the wave and sending it right back at the lock. A click came as the lock broke open. “Excellent!” She said with a smirk on her face as she started to read the book.

Twilight had walked deep into the Everfree forest, the book said that deep in the centre of the Everfree forest a shrine with the statue of the most powerful wizard, but this was not a normal statue it was the mighty wizard himself, doomed to spend an eternity captured in stone. It was said whom ever could free this wizard from the stone would be granted some of the strongest powers ever seen in all of Equestria. And exactly that was the reason that Twilight had gone into the deep Everfree forest. Twilight saw a summit in front of her and in the middle of it was the shrine. Twilight was looking up to the sky, the sun had just gone down, yet the moon hadn’t risen. She saw this as the perfect opportunity. Twilight gathered every inch of magic in her and in a wild roar she shot it out of her horn. The blast hit the statue and she was able to see that it was cracking. She felt that her hoofs wasn’t able to take the weight of her body anymore, she fell hard to the ground as a dark aura, darker than darkness it self flew out of the statue. “You have freed me, there for I shall grant u my power” a dark alicorn said with a bone chilling voice…

Mean while back in Ponyville Pinkie Pie had spotted three new ponies, she quickly spun out of the door. The pink tornado left a chaotic trail behind herself that would bring a smile on Discord face if he saw it. A loud bang could be heard as the pink tornado smashed into a white unicorn with a sparkling blue and red mane. “Ruby Storm!” the two other ponies screamed! The two other ponies quickly leaped to each one of there sides, one of them was a blue Pegasus with a blue and a golden creamish mane.  He quickly flew straight up in the air, while the other, a burgundy unicorn with a light grey mane and a black stripe, charged his horn. A midnight blue aura formed a wall between Pinkie, and the white unicorn named Ruby Storm. “Hey!!! Why did you stop me from hugging her?” pinkie said with a frown. “Hugging her?” the burgundy mare said. “Yes, she was hugging me, Dawn” Ruby Strom said. A loud swishhhh came from the sky as the white Pegasus flew down like a lightning bolt! “STOPPPP SWIFT CLOUD!!!”  Ruby screamed! But Swift Cloud couldn’t hear her. Then a loud bang could be heard in the distance. A rainbow beam was quickly going torwards Swift Cloud. “A sonic rainbow!” Ruby Screamed! The Sonic Rainbow crashed into Swift Cloud. A big crater was created once the rainbow hit the ground. Rainbow Dash rose up from the crater and screamed to Swift Cloud “ DON’T YOU DARE HURT MY PINKIE PIE!!!!!!” “ I thought she was attacking my sister you fool!!!” Swift Cloud quickly answered. “Calm down brother! “ Ruby Screamed “ Dawn Breaker help me split them” She Continued looking at the burgundy mare she earlier had called Dawn. A red aura was wrapped around Rainbow coming from Ruby’s horn. While a midnight blue one was again coming from Dawn Breaker’s horn wrapping around Swift. “Eyyyyyyh, let us go!” Swift and Rainbow shouted! “Let my marefriend go!” Pinkie said. “Marefriend?” Ruby Asked letting go of Rainbow. “Yes, we’ve been dating for quite a while now.” Rainbow answered. The Two mares hold hooves and slowly went for a kiss when Swift interrupted “Dawn can you maybe let me go now?” “Ohh, sorry, I totally forgot that” Dawn said. “Maybe we should have a proper introduction” Ruby said. “Ohh, hi I’m Rainbow Dash, The fastest flyer in all of Equestria. And this is my 110% cool marefriend Pinkie Pie.” “The fastest flyer in all of Equestria huh? Well I’m Swift Cloud The most agile flyer in all of Equestria. And this is my sister Ruby Storm and our best friend Dawn Breaker. “OHHH!! We’re going to have the worlds greatest welcome party for you guys!” Pinkie started “And it’s gonna have cupcakes and balloons and party hats and of course my party cannon, oh and ice cream a-and punch…
