Johon watched as his beautiful wife Anna lay dying in his arms. He cried out for her to stay with him, screaming for her to stay awake. Telling her that the ambulance is coming. Reassuring her that everything is going to be fine, but she knew everything wasn’t going to be. The madman in the jester costume stood behind him, laughing at the murder he had just committed before he vanished.
“Come closer, Johon.” She coughed out some blood onto the pavement before turning back to him, “I can’t see you.”
“Please don’t talk, the ambulance is almost here. Just stay with me.”
“Listen... I don’t... have much... time... left.”
“No, stop talking, y-you’re going to be ok.” Johon begged her through his tears.
“Johon... listen... I... love...” The rest of her sentence was cut off as the light in her eyes faded out.
Johon grab onto her shoulders and tries shaking her awake. “No Anna! Please, wake up! Please!”

“ANNA!” Johon screamed. He shot up from his bed sweating and panting as he woke up from another nightmare. It had been ten years since the crash that had claimed Anna. Johon was still having nightmares of the incident.
“Father Johon?” Johon looked towards the door and saw one of his fellow monks standing in the doorway. “Are you okay?”
”Yes Brother Jeremy, I’m okay. I just... need a moment.” Johon sitting up from his bed, rested his head in his hands. The monk walked up to him and placed a hand on his back.
“If you need to talk I’m always here.” Johon looked up and smiled sadly at the bald man.
“Yes I know brother, you remind me every time I have these nightmares.” Brother Jeremy stood and left the room after giving Johon a pat on the back. He stopped at the doorway and gave one last look behind him.
“Do not worry Johon. I’m sure that things will take a turn for the better soon.”
At that exact moment a cruise missile hits the monastery’s northern side. The shockwave rocked the building and sent Johon tumbling onto the floor. Brother Jeremy ran back into Johon’s room and barred the doorway.
“They've found you Johon.” Brother Jeremy ran to one of the crosses and pulled down.
“Who found me?” Johon says as he’s getting up from the floor. Brother Jeremy watched the wall carefully as a retinal scanner emerged from the brick.
“The Purifiers” Johon froze. The Purifiers would be the end of him if he was caught.
“What! But... how did they find me here?” With a quick scan, the wall split open and Brother Jeremy grabbed the auto-rifle that came forth.
“I don’t... their signals should be jammed-” The door bust opens to reveal Stryker followed by two Purifiers. Brother Jeremy tried to fend them off , but was killed before he could fire a single round. Stryker smiled as Johon was held at gunpoint before him.
“Johon I presume?”
“Yes... my name is Johon.... tell me Stryker, why have you attacked this church? There are no mutants here... why are you here!?”
“Tell me Johon, why are you lying in the house of god? Did you not think that I would find you and the rest of you mutant filth?” Stryker said as he fired a couple of bullets made of carbondanium, striking Johon’s shoulder and legs. “Now tell me where she is.”
“I won’t... tell y-you a.. damn.. thing.” Johon says through painful breaths.
“Now now, don’t be like that Johon.” Stryker bends down to look into Johon face, “You know exactly where she is.”
Johon spat in Stryker’s face “I won’t.. tell you.. one.. single thing.”
Stryker snarled as he punched Johon in the face. He wiped off his own as he glared at the mutant. ”Tell me where Hope is, or for the next few hours you'll be entertaining my friends here.”
“Well then, it.. seems... we’re gonna... be here... for hours.”Johon wheezes out
~6 hours later~
“You truly are one hard ball to crack.” Stryker says while sitting comfortably in a chair. “You know if you weren’t a filthy mutant I would honestly respect you.” Stryker signals the two to stop beating Johon. “Now then will you tell me where she is.”
Johon lifted his bloodied head and smirked at Stryker as best he could. “I..... told you... I don’t..... know....”
Stryker sighed and said, “I guess I have no choice but to look for another source for information. Boys, kill this thing before it can get up and cry for help.”
“Yes sir.” One of the Purifiers pulls out his gun and aimed at Johon’s head.
I’m sorry guys, guess this is where I get off.... My love... I’m coming home... Johon thought for what he believed to be the final time.
The sound of gunfire rang through the monastery.

“So I guess thats it then.” Johon says out loud. He’d been floating in some sort of black room for who knows how long and was getting bored. “I always believed that I would have died defending utopia.”
“Hello Johon. I’m sure you know that you that you’re dead, Correct?” An eerie echo called out from the dark. Johon looked up and saw a cloaked figure of a man holding a scythe in a small corner of the blackened room.
“Huh, so I take it your Death? I always thought you were a woman.” Death nodded, making Johon chuckle. ”Wade owes me twenty bucks.”
“No Johon, I’m a different death.” Death hovered over to Johon, “That death is a friend of mine of course, she really does need to stop leading you mortals on.”
“Before you send me to hell Death... please let me see her. One more time?”
“Johon.” Death sighed, placing a hand on his temples. “You’re not going to hell.”
Johon blinked before turning to the immortal. “What... what do you mean?”
“I mean that you, nor your wife, are going or are in Hell.” Death says in a tired voice.
“So where is she then?” Johon says with a puzzled look.
“She is neither in Heaven nor in Hell. She is not in Limbo either. The sad fact is that her soul has been captured, but by whom I don’t know.” Death states in a mellow tone.
“What do you mean that she’s been captured?” Johon says anger boiling, “You’re one of the few beings in the multi-verse that has power over the souls of the departed, and you’re telling me that you lost her!”
Death was waiting until Johon had calmed down “Are you done?”
“Do you have any type of lead to where she is.”
“.....Yes.” Death says with a hint of sadness knowing what is about to unfold.
“Tell me then Death. I need to know, I’ll take any clues you can give me, just please tell me!”
Death sighs “Johon I... can not in good conscious tell you.”
“Tell me why then, in your oh so infinite wisdom, why you can’t tell me where my wife is.”
“If I told you, I’m not sure what would happen. Thats why I can’t tell you. I am Death and I know when all souls leave any world. But with your future now that you have left, I can’t tell anything. Where you would go I can’t tell who’s going to die. Who’s going to live or anything.” Death said in a frustrated tone.
“So you’re telling me that just because you’re scared you won’t tell me? Do you realize how much you sound like a little girl right now?” Johon said with anger seething from his core.
“YOU DARE TO CALL ME A COWARD!!? You wish to know so badly? Fine but you have to make a deal with me. One you can’t go back on or get out of. You would become a Wraith. A soul that takes human form and takes the souls of living beings of all kinds. Do you accept these terms?” Death asked with rage still prevalent in his voice.
“Yes.” Johon said with steel in his voice.
”Then so be it.” Death said with anger still in his voice “Know this though Johon. You accepted this of your own free will. I now own you. And to find your wife’s killer, I’m sending you to the same universe he was last seen. Whether you find them or not is up to you and your own abilities.” WIth a snap of his fingers, a portal ripped in the very fabric of time and space and Johon fell through into the mass of color.
Unimaginable pain lanced through his body. If anyone could hear his scream they would of thought they heard the screams of men being dipped into the river styx by hades himself.
Johon’s POV
I groaned as I sat up. Ok that hurt a lot, I thought Logan’s claws were bad but that hurt waaaaay worse. Ok lets take a moment and grab my bearings......
As I looked around, I noticed that there was mostly grass and mountains. Most noticeable was the one that seemed to have a castle tied to the side of it. Ok granted that I have seen a lot of weird things in my life, but this takes a spot in my top hundred weird shit that i have seen.
I tried standing but noticed that I was laying on some train tracks. More worrying was the fact that my leg was stuck under one of the boards. Ok Johon don’t panic..don’t panic.. take a breath and lets try to yank your leg out of the track....
A horn blared as I struggled. Is that a horn.... I looked down the track and saw an old locomotive headed straight for me. OH SHIT IT IS!
I started to pull frantically on my leg in the hope it would pop out. Cooome on, cooome on ya damn leg... I looked and saw the train less than a mile away and resigned myself to my fate. Too late. You know, I always wondered what this would feel-
The sound of the train screeching to a halt assaulted my ears as I cracked my eye open. The train was resting not a foot away from me.
“Hey! You alright?” I leaned back and saw a brown haired girl leaning out the window.
I was about to respond when a pony poked it’s head from the front of the train. “Sir, what in the name of Tartarus are you doing in the tracks?!”
Wait, ok I’m being pranked now. There can’t be a talking pony right in front of me, that’s impossible. I facepalmed as I remembered that I once talked to a giant dog and that one of my old friends happened to be a big, blue, furry man.
Just as I was about to say something, the girl that’s leaning out the window screams out “You just going to stand there?”
Urgh, never in my wildest dreams would I thought I would get my leg caught in something and have someone else help me. Well here’s hoping that I can get them to help me with my current situation. “I was teleported here and my leg was caught under one of the boards.” Thank whatever deity that Peter isn’t here too see this, Hell, thank who ever that Logan isn’t here. “Ya think you can help me out and tell me where the nearest city is?“
“Sure, but its going to cost you!”
Wait is she seriously extorting me, I really can’t get a break today “What do you want!”
“Well for starters your name!”
“Johon!” Just as I was thinking about why in the hell death sent me here on some train tracks the brown haired girl jumps from the train and walked up to me. She offered me her hand and helped me free my leg. She looked up at me with a slight shock and a small smile.
“Wow you’re tall.”
Hmm... I wonder if by the tone of her voice that I should offended or should I take it as a compliment. I’m going to with the latter and hope I don’t stick my foot in my mouth.“Umm... Th- thank you?”
She chuckled a bit and rubbed the back of her head. “You don’t take compliments well do you?”
“That’s because by the tone of your voice I didn’t know if you meant it as an insult or a compliment...... since you know my name will you tell me yours.” You know she’s actually quite beautiful... No bad thoughts. You still gotta save anna.
She was tapping her chin and seemed to be lost in thought. She smiled after a brief nod and looked back up at me. “Amy, It’s nice to meet you Johon.” A shout could be heard from the train’s engine car and Amy let out a sigh before turning back to me. “Well, now that you’re not stuck, I got to get back on board before the train leaves without me.”
“Um, before you go. Do you mind if you can tell me where ya staying at.”
“I think James said ‘Appleloosa’.” She climbed back on board as the train started to move. As the car she was in passed me she leaned out the window. “ALSO, NEAREST TOWN IS CANTERLOT! JUST head down the tracks...”
Huh, I think things are going to start looking up, I wonder if i’ll be able to see her again
I guess time will tell.
