In a village lost in myth and legends a cave is found bearing an ancient entity known as Soul Edge.
Here Knightmare reemerges to the world only to find that the prey it longed to hunt were now extinct.

The story follows Knightmares unusual revival and journey through the land as it tries to adapt and keep a promise made in its resurrection.

Note;
I changed Nightmares name because of how similar it is to Nightmare Moon.
The new name is a play on both the fact it's a knight and a monster while sounding the exact same as the original.
