Into The Rabbit Hole
My body screamed in pain as the knife was plunged into it.
"You are perfection. The ultimate of your kind, And our child will lead the Rakyat."
I reached for the knife that Citra had impaled my chest with, But it became an helpless effort as I lost all feeling in my arm.
"Shhh. Rage against the darkness. You are a warrior. Die a warrior."
My vision was starting to become blurry, I was doing my best to stay awake, To stay alive.
"You won."
I looked off into the stars as my vision began to be surrounded by darkness.
Dead, there was no way around it. No one to save me, nothing to block the knife, And I think I was stabbed near the heart. So in layman's terms, I'm fucked.
Speaking of being stabbed, why did she do it? Did she not think I was fit to rule the Rakyat? Even though I killed Hoyt and Vaas while her little "Warriors" were getting picked off like fucking flies, she decides to stab me so our "child" could lead the Rakyat. If only I had enough strength to pull the knife out and shove it through her eye socket.
My body started to shiver, was I supposed to shiver when i'm dead? I opened my eyes to see nothing, or as some people would call it "Darkness", but it seemed nothing was a better description, as there was literally no visible object that I could see. My body was still shivering, why is it so fucking cold? I thought when I was dead my brain was suppost to shut off. Whatever this place was is not what I pictured death would be like.
I looked down to see that I was in a standing position, and I had my Blue shirt with Khaki cargo pants on. Why do I have these on? I ditched these for a Privateer uniform. There was no ground under my feet so apparently I was floating in this Black, Lifeless, Void. If I wasn't dead I would probably think I was just on another trip to my inner mind, AKA "The place where weird shit happens." I'm not even sure what happens most of the time when I'm in that place.
I looked back up to see the nothing but black again. It started to get warmer so my body wasn't shivering as much now. My thoughts started to go back to Citra. Even though she did kill me, She freed me. Without her I would have not realized that all my "freind's" were holding me back. Without her I would not have had the strength to kill Vaas and Hoyt. Without her I would have been dead a long time ago.
"Friend's", I don't know why I even considered those morons my friends. They were just holding me back, they were the problem. Doing what any normal person would do, I eliminated the problem. Even my family, my brother, was holding me back. Keeping me from my true potential as a warrior. Good riddance. I guess the only person I could really trust was Dennis. The one that started my adventure, my mission for revenge.
I started to hear a humming noise, sounded like something electrical but why would something like that be here? The humming noise got louder as I started to feel wind against my body.
What the hell?
A grey aura started to form around my body. I raised my hand in front of my face to see the aura forming around my fingers, I couldn't feel it though.
It felt like the speed of the wind decreased. The grey aura started to change colors, and I started to feel tired, I tried my best to keep my eyes open, But I just kept getting more tired by the second.
I started to lose all feeling in my body. I felt myself falling to my knees, too tired to stand up.
Come on Jason, stay... Awake... I can't fall asleep...
It wasn't long before Darkness surrounded my vision once again.
Ugh... Fuck.
I awoke to the sound of birds chirping. I'm alive? How am I alive? I was just dead, That makes no sense!
I opened my eyes to see some birds flying above me, and above them there was leaves with only a few cracks allowing little specks of sunlight to spill out on to the ground. I sat up and looked around to make sure there was no pirates- Or tribal warriors in the area. I only found trees, whose leaves and branches would sway from time to time because of the wind. I caught something un-uniform to the rest of the ground in the corner of my eye, so I quickly turned to see what it might be. A trail, Seemingly too small for any type of vehicle was what I was seeing. Not knowing exactly where I was at the moment, I decided that going down the trail would be the best idea.
Visions of Dennis putting the tatau on my arm crept into the back of my mind. I guess this did remind me a little bit of that, waking up in a unknown location and a little dazed.
I started to walk towards the small path, but I heard foot steps coming towards me, And not knowing if who or what was coming towards me was hostile I hid in a bush. A few seconds later I saw two mutated apes with dog faces walking down the path. They wore a bright red vest and a collar that seemed to have diamonds plastered all around it. One of the ape creatures was carrying a shovel, while the other one had a pickaxe. Their eye's were a strange yellow-ish color with a small black pupil.
What kind of animal is that?
I pulled out my camera so I could take pictures of the two strange bipedal creatures. Once they passed me I looked back at the pictures, maybe I could sell them to someone. Wait, no. They would probably think it was photo shopped and tell me to fuck off.
I decided to walk the opposite way of the path that the two Ape dogs went, not sure if they would attack. As I was walking I was getting a strange feeling, the same kind of feeling I would always have at Rook's island. The feeling of a million eyes on you, from all around you.
With nothing but the sound of my shoes hitting the dirt, the question of where exactly I am came into my head. These trees are not the tropical trees of Rook's, and i'm sure there is no apes on Rook's either, especially mutated ones. This was more like a rain forest, as the trees were so large that the sunlight barely reached the ground.
About 10 more minutes into walking I was wondering if I would ever find a building, or anything except trees atleast. That's when one of those creatures that I took pictures off jumped out in front of me, I looked behind me to see about 7 more standing behind me. Unlike the ones I had pictures of these had no items, and they were drooling.
"Hehe, look at what we have here boys!"
"I sure am hungry for some dumb animal meat!"
Why the hell are these things talking? I must be really high on some kind of drugs or plants right now. I unsheathed my Tanto and grabbed my M1911 'Shadow' in my other hand. As I readied my weapons, some of the creatures started to giggle.
"Oh look, It's going to kill us with it's little sword!"
"Quiet! I tracked this giant monkey too long to let it get away!"
They started to slowly walk closer, Looks like I'm fighting my way out of this one. These things don't look like they can put up much of a fight, But you never know.

Hitting the ground
For a moment nothing happened. They stopped walking towards me, and now they stare, Looking at their "prey." It seemed both sides were waiting for the other to attack, like they no longer think I'm their prey, but their enemy.
Then they attacked.
The one to my right charged at me and raised it's left paw, the same paw I shoved my Tanto through. The creature howled in pain, but only for about 2 seconds, as a bullet from my shadow went through it's neck causing it to cough up a little blood and fall to the ground, dead.
I looked over at the other 6 creatures, seeing them with shocked expressions only made me smile.
"Which one of you assholes is next?"
All six of the strange creatures began to growl. If I'm lucky, I will be able to kill at least three with my Shadow before the others reach me, I'll have to use my Tanto for the rest. I lifted my Shadow and aimed it at one of the large abomination's head with my finger on the trigger, when something happened that neither side expected.
A large force started to shake the ground right as I pulled the trigger, it caused me to shoot the ground instead of the creature. Ignoring the rumbling, I charged towards one of the creatures and jabbed my Tanto inside it's torso area. Instead of just pulling the Tanto out right away, I twisted it to the left before yanking it out of the creature's body.
I quickly turned around, ready to kill another mutated ape, but they were gone.
"Cowards!"
I turned around, ready to continue down the path-
Holy hell.
In front of me was some giant freak of nature. It was a lion with bat wings and a scorpion tail, and it looked like it was hungry. It's eyes narrowed as it started to growl. I looked at it's teeth to see that they were sharp, Very sharp. I was about to reach for my shadow when I realized something, bullets are enough to take this thing down. I would have to use my tanto and try to stab it. Not knowing what kind of animal this was, I would have to stab it near it's eye and hope that it would get the brain. I gripped my Tanto tightly, prepared to strike, When-
" Awww, did you make a new friend?"
The female voice came from behind the beast. It sounded like the voice of a mother, or maybe a caretaker. It was soft and caring, but it still had some authority. The beast looked back behind it and roared.
"That's great! Let me see."
The Lion thing stepped to the side to show what was behind it, and what I saw made me question my sanity, again. A yellow horse- er... Pony with wings. "She" had a pink mane and had a picture of butterflies on the side of it's ass. "She" looked at me with wonder and a little bit of fear in her eyes, or at least untill she looked down at my Tanto. "Her" pupils shrank and all the wonder that had once been in it's eyes had been replaced by only fear.
I looked down at my Tanto to see that there was still fresh blood dripping off of it and onto the ground. Getting the idea of what it was thinking, I sheathed my Tanto to show it I meant no harm, yet. I looked back to the winged pony to see that still had the same look of fear on its face. If this is what was talking, It might be my only way to figure out where I am.
"Hey, you was the one talking right?"
The pony mumbled something, It was so quiet I didn't hear anything it said. This pony was going to tell me where I am, scared or not. I started walking towards the pony when the beast jumped back in front of me and roared. At that moment I didn't know what was worse, How my ears were ringing or how it's breath smelled like ass. Usually I would have been stabbing this creature with my Tanto by now, but it seems it might be "her" pet. So for now I will try to do this "peacefully"
" Woah there, I don't want to hurt it. I just want ask it something."
It stood it's ground, Still staring daggers at me. Things might get violent. I reached for my Tanto when I heard "her" voice again.
"P-Please, don't fight."
I rested my hand on my Tanto as I saw the pony to the right of the beast.
"What d-do you want?"
I took my hand off the Tanto and looked at the pony. It's eyes still had fear, but now there was courage.
"What is this place?"
"T-The Everfree forest."
"What country?"
The pony grew an confused look on it's face. "I dont know what a country is, but if you mean kingdom, The Everfree forest is apart of Equestria."
The kingdom of Equestria. I should have figured a long time ago I wasn't on earth, with all the fucked up shit around here.
"Is there a town nearby?"
"Yes, but I dont think it's a good ide-"
"How do I get to it?"
"I Really dont thi-"
"Tell. Me. Now ."
"Just follow the path"
"See? That wasn't so hard."
The beast gave me one last growl as I started down the trail, maybe I should have brought that yellow pony as a hostage so if they were hostile I would have the upper hand. Nah, the lion thing would be too much trouble, and the pony would probably run away during the fight.
Here I am again, walking down the trail waiting for something to happen. If I find out that the pony misled me, I will have it's head.
As I was walking down the trail, I started to wonder why I was in this strange place. Is this where all people go to where they die? No. There would be a lot more humans here, or maybe everyone has their own version of it? It could just be fate has played another cruel joke on me.
Whatever this place is, I will do anything and kill anything to survive, Intelligent or not.

Insanity
As I walked down the trail, I would look behind me every now and then to see if someone, or rather something was following me, but found none. Paranoia was your best, If not only friend if you ever went to Rook's, or the this "Everfree forest" as the strange pony called it.
I looked around at all the trees, bringing some back memories when I would use to "accidently" start a forest fire back at Rooks, and the sound of birds chirping reminding me of how I would shoot vultures at the shooting range in the Amanaki village and get payed for it. But the guy there got pissed if you didn't call it "The Shooting Challenge." Which I responded to, by telling him to shove it up his ass and just give me the damn money for shooting the birds.
There was the sound of a bush moving, I instantly drew my Tanto and turned around to see what it was. Nothing was there. I sighed as I sheathed my Tanto and started walking down the trail again. Paranoia was useful, but then there was times like these when it would just screw you over.
So, this place was called "Equestria." Does it have some sort of military? Would it even matter? The ponies don't really look like they could put up much of a fight against... Well anything, except bugs. I wonder if the bugs here talk too.
The sound of trotting snapped me out of my thoughts. I instantly brought out my Kalash Ak-47, and trying to make little noise, I went over to a tree and crouched behind it. Once the trotting noise got closer, I peeked out to the left of the tree to see what it was. A pony, clad in gold armor was trotting across the trail. It's fur seemed to be white, and it had a sword sheathed by his side. I guess this place does have a military after all, unless hes the only one around here in armor, which is unlikely.
This pony was more built than the yellow one was, and it's muzzle was larger. There was a look in it's eyes, sure there was a small trace of it, but it was there. It was the look of fear, but what was he scared of? It stopped trotting after it got to the other side of the trail and looked behind it, some of the sun glaring off of it's armor. After about 2 seconds it turned back around and started trotting again.
I had two choices. Keep going down the trail to find the town, which might be a dead end or even a trap, or follow the pony that looks like it is some kind of military or faction. It didn't take long to see that following this new pony would be the better choice. I started to move from tree to tree, trying not to step on any twigs or leafs. I decided to stay about fifteen feet away from the pony at all times, Easy for me to watch him, And hard for him to spot me.
Sometimes the pony would stop and look back as it did when I first saw it, but the trees and bushes were providing more than enough cover for me. About two minutes into this the wind blew some leafs and the pony would instantly unsheathed his sword and demand "Who's there!?" But after seeing it was only leafs it would sigh, and continue on. I followed the pony for about five more minutes, with nothing found yet I was about to give up and go back to the trail when I heard someones voice.
"Anything, Blaze?"
"Nothing but a bunch of trees."
"Aha, same."
Another pony, Clad in the same gold armor as the first, came into view. This one had grey fur, and was about a inch taller than the white one.
"Comon' we have to get back to camp before the sergeant chews us up again for being late."
The white one nodded as they started to head in the direction of this "camp." Once again I decided to follow them, going tree to tree. Another five minutes of walking and the camp they were talking about came into view. There was three tents, two of them were a olive drab color, While the third one was more of a dark red color. There was about four more guards around the camp, one of them was looking off into the forest, and the others were standing outside one of the green tents talking about something, I was too far away to hear about what they were talking about though.
The two ponies that led me here went into the red tent. Deciding to get closer, I started to slowly go foward into the bushes, trying not to make a sound. When I got close to the camp, the two ponies that went into the red tent came out, but they were not alone. There was another pony with them, one that had white fur and grey armor. It had no helmet, and had a longer sword than the rest of the ponies. All the ponies that were talking became quiet and the one staring off into the woods turned it's head to look at the new pony. This must be the sergeant.
"Alright, new orders. A civilian has spotted an unknown creature to the north of here."
They better not be talking about-.
"It is hostile, Capture, or if you have to, kill on sight. According to the civilian, It looks like a mix of Monkey and Diamond dog with no tail, and only has hair on its head, and around it's jaw."
That little yellow motherfucker.
I could feel the anger in my veins, the amount of rage was rising with each breath I drew. That pony was planning to trap me. Must have taken some kind of shortcut to get to the camp. That yellow mother fucker, I am going to make it die a slow death for this, but for now, I think I'll take care of these guards. I un-holstered my shadow and aimed it at the 'sergeant.'
"Well, What are you waiting for? Get mo-"
There was only a flash as a bullet pierced the sergeant's skull, Causing him to die a instant death. All the ponies looked in horror as the corpse of their sergeant fell to the ground. They turned to see what caused it, all of their eyes went wide in horror as they saw me. They all unsheathed their swords to fight me, But this wasn't going to be a fight.
It was going to be a simple, Killing spree.

Rage
I put my Shadow back in the holster. All the 'guards' had a look of fear, Confusion, And anger plastered on their faces. I unsheathed my tanto, Not wanting to use any more ammo. It was time for these ponies to die.
I charged, Directing my attack towards the pony in the center.
The pony tried to strike me with it's sword, But it's blade was only met with my Tanto as I used my other hand to uppercut it. This caused the pony to lose it's balance, So I swiftly used my tanto to cut it's neck open. Some of it's blood got on my shirt as it fell to the ground and became a lifeless corpse. The pony to the right of me raised his sword, But he was not fast enough. I grabbed his foreleg and threw him to the pony to the left of me, Causing both of them to fall down ontop of each other. Immediately I raised my tanto and shoved it through both of them. The blade went through the top of the first ones head, The second one had the tanto plunged deep into it's hoof, Letting out a cry of pain.
The scream only increased my bloodlust.
I did not have time to pull the tanto out of the two, As the pony to the far left of me swung his sword at me. He missed all of my vital organs, But there was a painful feeling in my arm as he hit near my upper arm. Having no time to inspect the wound I rushed to the pony and uppercutted it, Then throwing it at a tree. The pony hit it's head on the tree, Not knocking it out, But it seemed to make it a bit drowsy as it dropped it's sword.
I was about to go in for the kill, But then I heard galloping behind me. I turned around to see that it was another pony charging at me with it's sword raised high, As if it actually expected to kill me. As the pony got closer, It lowerd it's sword and aimed it towards my torso. I sidestepped and decided it use it's own momentum against itself, Throwing it towards it's drowsy comrade. The pony was to slow to react as the sword pierced the other guard in the torso area. It had a horrified look on it's face as the sword went through the pony and was stuck in the tree, Pinning the pony to it. Another cry of agony was heard as blood oozed out of the wound.
I looked around to see one last pony, It was looking around at all of it's fallen comrades. The pony was trembling so much, It looked like it could barely keep it's sword up.
The last pony looked at me, All trace of courage was gone in it's eyes. There was only fear.
"Wh- What are you?"
I could only smile as I heard the fear in it's voice.
"I'm a hunter."
I grabbed the sword that was pinning the other guard to the tree, And I ripped it out. The guard let out a scream of agony and pain, But did not get to finish as the sword was shoved in it's throat. I looked back to the pony to see the same fear in it's eyes.
"I'm also the last thing your going to see."
I removed the sword from the corpse, Not as good as my tanto, But still a weapon. The guard's pupil's shank as he knew what was about to happen.
He took off galloping. Fuck. Going to have to catch i-
A arrow pierced the skull of the pony, Looks like i'm not going to catch it after all. I looked to the direction the arrow came from, But there was nothing but another tree and a bush. What could have fired the arrow?
"Looking for somepony?"
I turned around to see where the male voice had came from, another pony, But this one had a cloak covering most of it's features. But there was two I could clearly see, The first one being that there was a dark blue horn sticking out of the hood, The second being that there was a symbol of the moon on the cloak. Just like the yellow one there was a picture near his flank, But this one doesn't seem to have it imprinted on it's fur.
"I believe you dropped this."
It's horn started to be surrounded by a dark blue aura, I looked beside of it to see my tanto, With the blood of the ponies still on it, Floating with a dark blue aura around it, Just like the horn.
What the fuck?
"I took care of that last pony that was alive, Quietly if I might add."
I grabbed my tanto as it floated over to me, After I had a firm grip on it the dark blue aura faded. With the tanto back in my hand I looked back to the pony, What did it want? Did it want to kill me too?
I was abruptly snapped out of my thoughts when my arm started to sting. The adrenaline was wearing off, And now I was feeling the affects of the battle. I looked down at my arm to see a large cut, Bleeding.
"That looks bad, Might get infected."
I looked up at the pony and used my non-injured arm to point my tanto towards him.
"Who are you?"
"I'm... Just somepony. A somepony that needs some help, And you seem like the creature that I can get it from.
"What do you mean by 'help.'
"Oh nothing, Just something that's going to happen in about a week, A creature of your talents would be rewarded if it would to help somepony like me."
"Just tell me what you need help with and stop the bullshitting."
"Ill tell you when we are somewhere... Safer. Come, I'll show you."

Ally...?
I was currently sitting in a small dark room with my shadow still in hand. The only light source was coming from the sun through a small window that was to the left of me, And the sun would be setting soon, So it wouldn't last much longer. The room was empty, With nothing but the window I was forced to sit on the floor instead of any kind of furniture. I only had the sound of the occasional creaking of the old wood to keep me company, while I'm sitting here wanting- needing answers.
The pony in the cloak had led me here, And I still don't know why. On arrival it bandaged my arm, using it's "power" to carry the materials. After it was done bandaging my arm, It said to stay here and wait for it's return, Only bringing up more questions which have not been answered.
I am still not sure about coming here, It might be trying to just capture and kill me. If thats the reason I should have no trouble dealing with it.
So here I am. Sitting on the old wooden floor, Thinking if I should just shoot the pony the second he comes in the door, Or let it live and see what it wanted help with. With each passing second I'm leaning more and more towards the first option. My thoughts are interrupted as I hear the faint sound of hoofs against dirt outside, About time. The faint sound gets closer and closer, untill it stops and I hear the sound of the old wooden door open and creak. I looked up to see a familiar cloaked pony trotting inside. I could only glare as it turned it's head in my direction.
"So, Are you going to tell me what you need help with, Or did I make a mistake not killing you?"
The lack of light that was now comming through the window with the hood that the pony was wearing didn't let me see it's facial features, But I could tell that it had a shit eating grin as it let out a small chuckle.
"Temper, Friend. Though I guess it is time to tell you what I need help with.
The pony casted a glance at the window before trotting over to me.
"Are you familiar with Nightmare Moon?"
"No."
It seemed that the pony had grown a more serious tone in it's voice than it did before.
"Then I shall tell you the story."
I laid my head against the wall I was sitting against, Wondering why every living thing in this place has a shitty name.
"She is the goddess of the moon, But for some time now, The object she once controlled has been her prison. It started many years ago when Nightmare Night and her sister, Celestia controlled the moon and the sun. Nightmare Night controlling the moon, And Celestia controlling the sun. ponies did not enjoy the beautiful night that Nightmare moon worked hard on each and every night, But instead they feared it. The fools only slept during the night instead of realizing what a magnificent peice of art it was. With the ponies not enjoying the night, Nightmare night decided to make them enjoy it."
The pony looked towards the window, And did not look back. I also looked at the window to see that the little light that was there was practically gone, Replaced by darkness. It seemed something was troubling the cloaked pony, With it's almost depressing tone at the last bit of what it said.
"One night, When it was time for Celestia to raise her over-rated sun, Nightmare Night did not lower the moon. She wanted to let the ponies see how great the night was, But the tyrant Celestia decided to not let that happen. She gathered the Elements of Harmony and banished Nightmare Night to the moon!"
That last statement was filled with anger. The pony was about to continue when it paused, And let out a sigh, Calming itself down.
"Ever since then, There was a group made to bring back the true night to Equestria. That group was called the New Lunar Republic, Something I have been apart of for years."
The pony turned it's head back towards me, The rest of it's body stiff as a board.
"The story says that Nightmare Moon was only sent to the moon for a thousand years, And once she gets back she will fight for eternal night once more."
I lifted my head off the wall and turned to the pony to see that it's attention was still directed towards me. My mind wondering if this pony might be slightly crazy, Thinking ponies controlled the sun and the moon.
"So what do you need help with, And what does it have to do with this?"
"Nightmare Moon will be released in three days, And we need to make sure Celestia does not get the elements. If we succeed, The moon goddess will surely repay us."
"Does she have the powers or magic that you have?"
"Yes, But very much stronger than mine."
I stood up from my position and then glanced at the window, Seeing a few stars.
"Can she... Teleport?"
"Yes."
She might be able to send me back to Earth, Being a goddess and all.
"Fine, I will help you, But if I find out that this is fake, Or that this "Nightmare Moon" can not grant me what I want. I will kill You, The members of "The New Lunar Republic," And Nightmare moon."
"This is great news, I will send my commander a scroll about this. He should be very pleased about more help."
I held my hand up to stop him before he could do anything.
"Before you do that, Do you know where the town is and how to get there?"
"Just follow the path outside of the building, Why do you ask?"
I walked to the door and put a hand on the old wood it was made out of.
"I need to visit someone."
With a single push, I was once again met by the gloomy and dark Everfree forest.
