Whilst visiting Ponyville town hall, after an audience with Mayor Mare, Twilight stumbles upon an aged leather bound book.
Being the good natured soul she is Twilight attempts to return the book, but, to no avail she is hurriedly shoved out of the building by a rather bossy receptionist.

With a hmpf the purple mare shoves the book in her saddlebag and begins to trot home.

Upon entering her house Twilight places her saddlebag on her writing desk near the coat rack Owlicious used as a perch she continues with her daily duties of tending to the needs of her friends and her helper spike. However, Twilight sparkle was never a mare to just put a book down and call it a day.
