Everypony knows the legend of the Lost Continent. An old ponies tale about the dangers of the world. How every expedition to it, be it Equestrian, Gryphon, Minotaur or Zebra vanished without a trace. The Princesses themselves have said that only death awaits those who go there.

But nothing lost stays that way forever, and when Princess Celestia summons Twilight and her friends, alongside a select group of ponies to make a historic journey into the heart of this forgotten land, they will learn that the continent is not lost by accident or malevolent magic.

What secrets can a hidden civilization have? And why would they choose to hide themselves away from the rest of the world?
