Bright Star looked out into the distance of Ponyville. The sun was setting and the Equestrian night was coming. He sat there with a calm look upon his cyan blue face. His emerald eyes peered out as he watched the stars come out. He fluttered his wings because the had become a little restless by sitting their all day.Every since he was a colt he loved the stars. How beautifully the hung in the night sky and shone across the great vacuum of space.
Unlike the ponies of old he loved the night. It gave him peace and a purpose. He basked in it’s darkness and it welcomed like he was one of their own. He watched as the moon began to rise. He smiled at little at it. How he will miss the sight of the moon.
He knew something was coming for him and he knew he was going to die by this being. But he planned to go down with a fight. That is why he came to the edge of town. He didn’t want nopony getting hurt from this fight.
Finally he felt a cold wind sweep across the field he was in. A new kind of darkness began filling the air. This air was cold and menacing with fear being carried on it’s winds.
“Did you really think destroying me would save your pathetic little world” came a manic voice
Star new that voice all too well.
“No I didn’t Discord” He replied calmly to the night air “But it would give me the time to find a proper way to banish you from this world for the rest of forever”
Discord appeared in front of him looking more crazier than usual even for the chaos god. “Banish ME” he said with a laugh “The spirit of CHAOS” he finished raising his arms to the sky as lighting cracked behind him
“Yes” and with that he sped at Discord rubbing some potion he had gotten of Zecora earlier on his front hooves. His hooves began to glow pink and green. Discord swiped at him but missed. He jumped and shoved his hooves into Discords chest
He jumped back down and watch as the portal behind Discord began to open.
“By order of Princes Luna and Princess Celestia I banish you” said Star staring at Discord as he began to get sucked in.
Discord grabbed the edges of the portal. The suction increasing.
Star knew this would happen. For the portal to close the one who casted it most go through with the prisoner. He felt himself getting pulled in. His hooves dragging across the ground. He collided into Discord and they both fell into nothingness. Darkness crept around him and he felt himself falling. Just like when he returned to Equestria.
Star felt ground beneath him. His body was sore from the fall. He raised his hand and ran his fingers through his hair. He jolted up and looked back down at his figure. He had turned human. He was in complete shock he had not noticed the pair of golden eyes peering at him from the nearby bushes.
Finally he felt fatigue take him over and he fell on his back again. The last image he saw was a green figure peering over him on all fours getting closer to his face.
