Despair is scared after the war. His master is gone, he has no friends and Luna has abandoned him to live in the forest. Now he has to make a life for himself among the weakness of the ponies that inhabit this world. He will make friends, find love, and do some things that he is not proud of. But when his master calls again, will he accept and watch as his life becomes devoted to war again, or will he deny and watch it all come crumbling down around him.
