Chapter 1 dark wind

"Thunder please don't leave us your father and I will miss you so much " said Thunder's Mother

"I'M LEAVING and that's final I have said this previously once I grow of age, I will be leaving Canterlot. I just want to forget about my past but I wont be able to until I leave."

"but son where do you plan on going" said Thunder's father.

"I don't know I don't care I will be leaving tomorrow morning and that's final" said Thunder

"May I be excused?"

"You may but, remember this Thunder that day did not only have bad in it." said Thunder's Father before getting up to wash his plate.

As Thunder was heading upstairs to get on Skype with his best friend from Manehattan, he bumped into Rayn his little sister in the hallway.

"Bubby you're leaving!?" said Rayn.

"Yea I should have told you but didn't want you to be restless all night. "

"You can't leave yet whose going to help me build with my Lego's,or take care of Da vinci, or help me with homework?

"Don't worry mom and dad can help you with your homework and im sure mom would like to help you build, although I haven't figured out what I would like to do with Da vinci yet I have an idea though." Said Thunder as he took a sip from his Red bull.

"Oh, when will you be coming back? said Rayn wondering when and if she will ever see her big brother."

"Don't worry I'll come to visit every now and then and we'll build some Lego tanks like the th-" good o'l days I nearly forgot that she never found out and I don't plan on telling her anytime soon." thought Thunder.

"Well I need to go Skype with Loaf we're playing Garry's mod tonight want to watch?"

"YEA!" Said Rayn wanting to spend some time with her brother before he left.

"hey man whats up?" said Thunder flipping the switch for the water cooling.

"Eh not much, are you seriously going to leave?" Asked Loaf.

"Yea I'll still text you and when I visit we can Skype."

"but what about Da vinci and your setup?"

"Trust me I have Da Vinci covered however I think I might know who would want this setup... Oh Rayn come here!"

"You're kidding right giving a 10 grand setup to your 13-year-old sister?" Asked Loaf a little concerned.

"Rayn you want a computer so you can play with Loaf?"

"Yea!" Said Rayn crazy excited.

"Ok you can have it."

"................" Rayn was just at a loss for words

"Well I had better get to bed big day tomorrow." Said Thunder.

"See ya"

"Yawwwwwwn phew I slept surprisingly good last night." said Thunder getting out of bed.
Thunder walked over to Da vinci's corner of the room which consisted of his bed his food and water bowl and a few toys.
Hey bud I think I know who would take very good care of you let's go take you to them.

*knock *knock

"Rayn are you awake yet?"

"y-yea one second" Said Rayn as she slowly opened her door.

"Go on Da Vinci" Said Thunder as the eagle hopped off his back and onto Rayn's.

"Rayn I know you've wanted an eagle ever since I brought him home.

"But mom said that I wasn't ready for a pet?"

"well I think you will be an awesome caretaker."

"Ok thank you so much!" Said Rayn as she ran up and hugged his legs.

"Well I will be downstairs if you need me"

"Ok"

"Heh I haven't seen her that happy in a while" Said Thunder.

"Sigh I miss the good o'l days." Said Thunder quietly as he walked into the living room

"I do as well sure you don't want to stay?" Asked Thunder's mother starting to tear up.

" I'm sure." Said Thunder.

"I think we are out of red bull"

"You drank it all last night" Said Thunder's father still eating his breakfast."

"Ok well I need to head out anyways." Said Thunder.

As Thunder headed back upstairs to tell Rayn goodbye he could hear his mother in the background starting to cry.

"Sigh I wonder if leaving is really going to actually help" Thought Thunder.

"Hmmm where to go." said Thunder

"Ugh lets see I think one of celestia's top student lives there I bet she could show me around."

As Thunder was stretching his wings he noticed the wind was beginning to pick up.

"Huh I thought the weather team took a break today guess not?"

Thunder then noticed a rainbow ring expanding throughout the sky.

"Ok that is not the weather teams doing, heh what do you know it looks like it originated from ponyville."

"Come on Thunder you can do this its only been 5 years since you've last flown."

"WOOOHOOO I've forgotten how fun this is." Said Thunder slowly gaining speed.

"I wonder if I should try it? eh why not." Said Thunder now flying straight up.

"Ok this should be high enough." said thunder now dive bombing

"Oh yea I can feel the static building around me, c'mon FASTER!"

As Thunder was getting closer to the ground he could feel it "almost just a little further!"

*BOOOOOM

As Thunder was leveling out about 20 feet above the ground that is when he noticed he was glowing faintly yellow. He then noticed that he had a yellow trail with three gray stripes in it.

"Bad-ass"

"why is everything becoming darker?"... *THUD

"T-thunder how could you do such a thing." Said Hail a dark blue pony

"W-who are you?" Said Thunder slowly realizing that he is a hospital room.

"You don't remember me?"

"No, am I supposed to?"

Thunder then noticed a pure white pony sitting next to

"Mom what happened?"

"You and Hail here was flying you decided to dive bomb and you blacked out but before you blacked out you managed to create such a large explosion it flattened all the trees in a hundred yard circle." Said Snow starting to tear up.

"That is not that bad why am I here?"

"You crashed and cracked your skull open I thought you was d-de-" Said Hail now bawling her eyes out.

"Yea but I'm here now that is all that matters right?"

*Hail runs out of the room wailing.

"Who was she?"

"Thunder are you sure you don't remember her?

"Yea" Said Thunder now feeling horrible.

"She's your filly friend"

"B-but why don't I remember her"

"I don't know why Thunder"

"Can I talk to her again?"

"Yes let me go find her"

"Hey Thunder, you feeling any better?" Said Hail now more calm than before.

"Yea, Mom can I talk to Hail in private?"

"Sure I'll be back in an hour."

"I'm sorry for putting you through this." Said Thunder now sitting up and hugging Hail.

"Thunder can you do me a favor?"

"Of Course what is it?"

"Wake up."

"What?"

"Wake up."
