Hey Journal,

It has been chaos since our old principle resigned. We had no school till next Monday. Fortunately I have my Lyra Plush and my TV for company. Things may seem normal till I hear a knock at my door. Once I got up to see who it was the door opened and a girl walked in.

She was about 5'2 and had lime green hair on side of her head and white on the other. She wore a tank top and short shorts.On her head there was a horn and I threw my plush as quickly as a could into my closet. It landed perfectly and I got up as the TV turned off. "Hello, are you Michael?" She asked me looking into my eyes. I blushed slightly and nodded my head.

She then stuck out her hand as I shook it. She smiled and I smiled back. Even though she looked like a hipster she was rather nicer then what I thought. She then arranged her things until I caught a glimpse at a lyre. I never saw one and I stared at it. "How could can you play that lyre?" I asked pointing to the instrument.

She turned back to me and looked down at the musical instrument. She smiled and started playing a smoothing melody. I smiled and said she was the best lyre player I ever met, well the first actually. She then set that on her dresser as I walked outside and looked out to the school. It was quiet till I heard a bass drop.

When I looked down the deck to the other doors to see a man with red hair and a coke in his hand nodding his head up and down. It was my old friend Kyle, who loved bass drops. He was about 5'4, taller then me and wore a hoodie and a black muscle shirt underneath. He always wore ripped up jeans and he had a girlfriend. His girlfriend had a crush in me in 4th grade but he fell madly in love with her.

His new roommate came out with a coke as well. She was about 5'3, my size. Her hair was a deep blue and she had a white tee on. Her paints were white as well and they had a music note on the side. She wore purple glasses that covered up her eyes. She turned and saw me and waved her hand up.

I walked over to them and shook Kyle's hand and turned to the girl. She was staring at me and handed me a coke. "Hi, I'm Vinyl. Just got transferred here along with 24 other guys." She exclaimed and extended a hand.

I shook it and I turned back to Kyle. "How's Kayti doing?" I asked him.

He nodded and said she was good. His Girlfriend, Kayti was a normal person who never went to our high school but she went to another one in Ohio. Vinyl was staring at me the whole time as I asked her if she heard any Skrillex. She shook her head and I told her about the DJ. She asked me for my number, so I wrote it down and gave it to her and walked back to my dorm room.

When I got back, My roomie was watching Comedy Central. I sat next to her and asked what her name was. I forgot to ask her when she came to my dorm. She told me her name was Lyra. I chuckled and said that I had a plush that was named Lyra.

She chuckled as well. I never felt like this in years before Matt, my other friend was in the U.S. He moved to Japan with his Girlfriend who he now is going to marry, Ling. She was a friend as well but I met her through Matt. Lyra was happy as well because her best friend Bon Bon is here.

I then got up and checked the time, It was 9pm on a Friday. I popped off my shirt as i noticed a flash in the room. When I turned around there was lightning outside. The TV Turned off and so did the bass. Lyra was raged and she yelled "I was going to watch South Park!!" She then turned around to see me without my shirt.

She blushed crimson red and turned away to cover her blush. I sighed and walked into the bathroom to brush my teeth and other "Things". Lyra pulled out her phone and sent a text to Vinyl. "Vinyl, I just say Michael without his shirt. He looked rather sexy. You mad bro?" When Vinyl got the message she got jealous and text back,"Yes, Very. How bout' a bet? First one to get Michael Wins. Deal?"

"Deal, I get the advantage. He is my roommate." "What about another part, whoever wins gets to have him as a full roommate." "Oh, okay.".

I got back inside and she was in her PJ's. I was surprised how fast she was in her pajamas. She walks up to me and rubs my cheek. I start blushing and she wraps her arms around my neck. I push away like oh heck no and I walk back to my bed and fall asleep.

When I woke up, I felt something next to me. To my surprise it was Lyra, and she was shaking. "Michael, I saw something scary so I wanted to sleep with you tonight. If that's fine by you." She asked.

I nodded and fell asleep with my arms around her. I was finally happy for a day, When usually I am forever alone and now I am not. I woke up feeling something touching me. I knew it wasn't Lyra but it was something else.

When I touched my face to see what it was, it was gone. I got up and rubbed my eyes to see Vinyl sitting at the edge of my bed. "Morning, Lyra told me that she had some shopping to do, so I came here to be your temporary roommate." She exclaimed.

I yawned and stretched my arms, I was so tired. "Also, you didn't wake up while I was trying to wake you up so I kissed your forehead. No biggie." She said giving a gently wink.

I chuckled and asked her if she was serious, she nodded and I blushed slightly. I always blush around girls who do romantic things to me, It's kinda the usual. But instead of her doing nothing but sit there she kissed me again on the cheek. "Check ya later." She then got up and walked out of the door.

I was in the middle of a small bet, which I had no idea about, and Vinyl was winning.
