With the advancements made by Equestria in the technological field their political system also changes, and with that change comes a schism that splits the once peaceful nation in two.

The political climate has changed, with its change comes technology, and with technology comes the ever-changing ways it can be applied to war. Our military has evolved, and Equestria has split in two. Her ponies are forced to fight brother against brother, sister against sister, and in some cases, mother against son.

This civil war is called a revolution by some, and the Divided War by others. All of pony kind fight against each other under two different flags: the Equestrian Empire led by the Princesses, and the Peace Fighters, led by a former Imperial officer.

Our once peaceful nation has been consumed by war, and we all fight in one way or another.
