And by 'regular morning', I don't mean 'boring morning'. In Ponyville, 'regular mornings' are always calm and peaceful, with nothing to disturb. However, said peaceful morning was torn apart as a blue(not cyan) pegasus flew almost breaking the sound barrier, with important news to tell. Sweet Apple Acres was as peaceful as alyways, with Applejack and Big Mac doing their job undisturbed. "Applejack!" Said blue Pegasus landed in front of the orange pony. "What happened, Dash?" Applejack asked. "It's Cloudsdale...they're starting the first Cloudsdale Annual Grand Racing Event!" Rainbow Dash explained. The main cast proceeded to walk towards the arena after the hot air balloon landed on Cloudsdale. "I'm still curious about it. Hadn't Cloudsdale alterady had a Grand Racing Event?" Twilight asked. "That was a FLYING event, for Pegasi. This one is an actual racing event for both Pegasi, Unicorns and Earth Ponies." Dahs answered. "I heard about this event some weeks ago." Rarity commented. "They said that there would also be racers that are not ponies." she continued. "Really? Even better. I can show those outsiders the power of my speed!" Dash boasted. "Don' get all happy, Dash. I'm also a fair racer." Applejack responded. "Yeah, yeah." Dash replied. Applejack rolled her eyes. And it wasn't a surprise that while they were talking, Pinkie was alterady thinking of a massive party to throw to the newcommers. "Hey, it's there!" Rainbow Dash pointed to the arena, with a huge sign pointing out to the inauguration of the Racing Event. She then proceeded to rapidly fly in. "HEY! Wait for us!" Applejack yelled as she trotted after the impatient pegasus. The rest of the cast looked at each other, and ran after the two rivals. Fluttershy slowly flew after the others. As soon as Applejack and Rainbow Dash entered in, they were greeted by a female unicorn in an authority suit. "Ah, we've been waiting for you two! I figured you'd like to race in this event, right?" she asked. "If we'd like? We'd LOVE to!" Dash replied happily. "Okay, make your way to that room to get ready." the pony answered as she pointed to a door. "Oh, seriously, Pyro, I mean, I KNOW I had asked for a place where I could practice running, but why you had to suggest THIS place out of many?" a voice called out, gaining Rainbow Dash's attention. "It's filled with ponies, that's a thing for little kids!" it continued. She angrily flew to the source of the voice. "Mmrhf mm mmmfoh." Pyro replied in a pissed off tone. "Yeah, keep mumblin', like if that'd solve our problem." Scout replied. He turned around after being poked in the shoulder. "Alright, what do you want, pony?" "Who are you calling to be a thing for little kids?" Dash asked. "You." Scout replied. That was enough for Rainbow Dash. She punched the ignorant human in the face. "OUCH!" Scout yelled as he fell down to the floor. "No more! Please!" he pleaded. Pyro proceeded to mumble something that sounded like 'That's what you get.' "Wow, Amphibit, this place is really interesting, just like you said. I mean, standing on clouds?" Amphibiline commented. "Yeah, some planets follow different physics than others." Amphibit replied to Amphibiline. "But don't get distracted, we came here to race, not to explore." he continued. "Well, you don't look like a racer at ALL..." Cindy commented. "So? Appearances don't tell anythin'." Applejack countered. "Sometimes, they do. The Blaze looks intimidating. She IS intimidating." the Cave Spider countered. "That doesn't means that it happens everytime!" the cow pony replied. "Whatever. See you in the race track!" Cindy responded as she walked away. "Ugh, that girl, she thinks she's all bossy..." Applejack mumbled to herself as she turned around, only to bump into Andr, that was carrying a heavy Gold block. "AACH!!" "Whoops...." the 'Enderman' quietly said. She innocently teleported away. "Unfortunaly, the Gold block was simply too heavy, and when it collided with her back, it broke some of her bones. I'm sorry to say this, but she won't be able to race." the nurse pony said. "Oh, that idiotic block-carrying girl, she left me without a team partner! She'll have to face me!" Dash angrily replied as she set off to fly away, only to be stopped by Rarity. "Dash, it was an accident. If it was intentionally, she'd instantly drop the Gold block on top of her!" she said. Rainbow sighed. "Alright, it wasn't her fault." Dash complied, getting a reliefed 'phew' from the others. "It's Cindy's fault, then!" she replied, getting a disappointed 'sigh' from the others. "But who will be my race partner, anyway?" she asked. Instantly, Fluttershy backed off, as did Rarity. Pinkie was too busy with Applejack to help. "Ugh, this means I have to go with Twilight. Again." ... "Is it a bad thing?" "Hi there everybody, and welcome to the first Cloudsdale Annual Grand Racing Event!" Celestia announced. Everyone and Everypony cheered. "The whole race will be watched over by me and 3 other announcers. Notch, the creator of Minecraft, the Xorg Omnipotent, the captain of the Xorg Empire, and Saxton Hale, the CEO of Mann Co." she continued. "Hi there." Notch said. "Good day, ponylings!" The Xorg Omnipotent said. "Everyone, Mann co. is releasing a discount! Anyone who participates in this event has a 1% discount in all Mann Co. products!" Saxton Hale announced. "*Ahem* Moving on, this race is also sponsored by the portals from the Aperture lab." Celestia continued. "Aperture Science Static Portal Creator Device." GLaDOS corrected. "Buy one in the next 10 minutes, and I guarantee you'll recieve a 20% increase in the price." she said. "Now where is my money?" Saxton Hale handed her the money she proposed to use the portals. "Good." GLaDOS said as she left the stadium. "Anyway, on this race, we will feature racers that come from other lands and are not exactly ponies. Hailing from the Badlands' area, we have the BLU Scout and RED Pyro!" she announced. Scout moved all 'cool' into the racing lane, but in reality he was eager to leave. "Hey, it's Pyro!" Pinkie said. "BE FAST, GUYS, AND BE SURE TO BEAT THE OTHER RACERS GOOD!" Saxton Hale yelled in the microphone, causing everyone to cover their ears. The Xorg Omnipotent gave a stare at Saxton Hale. "What are you looking at, Mr. Robotic Alien?" Hale asked. "Other than them, comming from the depths of the Minecraft world comes Cindy the Cave Spider and Andr the Enderman!" she continued as the Cave Spider and the Enderman walked into the racing road. Dash and Applejack scoffed when they heard the Cave Spider's name. "Oh boy, this will be interesting." Salted commented. "Scout! Will ya stop doin' that in the middle of the public?" the RED Engineer scolded the RED Scout, who was nearly unzipping his pants, getting him a group of stares from the nearby spectators. "Do it good, guys, and I might buff you in Minecraft 1.5!" Notch said in the mic. "And next, from the Spore Galaxy in Outer Space comes Commodore Amphibit and Commander Amphibiline!" Celestia continued. A Spaceship landed next to the racing line, where Amphibit and Amphibiline walked out of it and into their positions. A few spectators were shocked upon seeing the two aliens. "Be fast, guys! Prove them that we aliens are not slow-mo!" the Xorg Omnipotent said in the mic. This got him a chuckle from Hale and Notch. "What?" "And last, but not least, comming from our lands, two of the Elements of Harmony: Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle!" she announced. This one got more cheers than the others, for obvious reasons. The two walked next to the other 4 racers, ready to race. "Twilight, remember that time on the autumn race, where you finished in 5th place?" Dash asked. "Yes, why?" Twilight replied. "Do that trick again, but for second or third place." she answered. "Um, Dash, that wasn't a trick. It was just that you and Applejack were so focused on winning that you two ended up-" "Alright, alright, I know!" she interrupted. "Oh hey, it's Ms. Angrymane again." Scout commented upon seeing Dash. "Hey, where's your cowgirl friend?" Cindy asked. "She cannot race because she broke her bones, and it's YOUR FAULT!" Dash answered. "My fault? Now it's MY fault?" Cindy asked again. "You made her too angry to realize that the Enderman was behind her, JUST so she could bump into her and cause the Gold block fall on top of her! And to avenge her, I'm going to beat you real good!" Dash threatened. "Aww, look at you two babies arguing together. Let the REAL racer do the work here." Scout boasted. "No, I'M the real racer!" Cindy replied. "No, I am!" Dash replied. "CAN YOU THREE PLEASE STOP ARGUING?!" Everyone yelled at once, except the RED and BLU Pyros, who said "MMH MRFH MMFH MMFRHGF MMFHF MMMM?!". *Bang!* Dash, Scout and Cindy took off like lightning ahead of others, with Pyro and Amphibit running behind, and Amphibiline and Twilight further behind. Andr stood in the start line, wondering what she is supposed to do. All 7 running racers entered the first portal, leading outside of the arena. In the Outskirts of Cloudsdale... Rainbow Dash was alterady at First place during the first stage of the race. After all, it was still in Cloudsdale, which made it easier for her. "See you two snails in the finish line!" she said as she flew away. "Ooh, that stupid showboater will see when we get into a place that is actually FAIR." Scout commented. "Yeah, I agree, she's only in first because this place is in HER side!" Cindy replied. "Except that I'll be the one in First, not you." she added. "We'll see about that!" Scout replied as the two ran further into the race. "Mmrgh mmmmh!" Pyro mumbled as he hopped cloud-to-cloud, being careful not to fall. "Seriously, what were they thinking when they made this part of the race?" Amphibit commented. "Uh-huh. Mmm mmfmth mmrgh." Pyro replied as he showed his Objector with a drawing of Rainbow Dash, and 'CHEATER' written in it with an arrow starting from 'CHEATER' and pointing at RD. Amphibit chuckled. "Anyway, let's continue the race, we can't let them get further away." he replied. "Aaargh, if it keeps like that, I'll never get that throphy!" Amphibiline commented. "Actually, there's a fair chance that they won't." Twilight replied. "What do you mean by that?" the Proboscis-mouthed alien asked. "In a previous race we had in Ponyville, Applejack and Rainbow Dash were so focused on winning the race that they did everything they could to take each other down, but that ended up in both of them falling to last place. Since the same is happening with Dash, Scout and Cindy, it's likely that they will fall back to last." she explained. "Ooh. Actually, you are right." Amphibline replied. "Anyway, I can alterady see the portal to the next place, let's go!" Andr calmly teleported from cloud to cloud, not minding the fact that she is in last(8th) place. "This stage is pretty easy." she commented. In the depths of the Minecraft caves... Dash was still maintaining her first place, though she noticed that she now had to cross a MAZE of cavern pathes, which meant she had to choose the right path. She even stood paralized long enough that Scout and Cindy reached her. "Hah, what happened, Ms. Angrymane, decided to let us wi....." Scout proceeded to mock her, but instantly realized why she stood paralized, and became paralized aswell. "Why you shocked? It's easy to cross this." Cindy said as she headed through one of the cave passageways. "Oh, right, you don't know the caves. Good luck! Hahaha!" she continued as she raced away. "C'mon, let's follow her before she disappears!" Scout said as he ran after the Cave Spider, with Dash following short behind. Unfortunaly for them, Cindy had alterady disappeared. "Aw, now we're left on our own, she alterady disappeared." Dash commented. "Alright, now you can either follow daddy here, or go on your own and get lost." Scout boasted as he made his way. "No way I'm going to follow you! And YOU will be the one who gets lost!" Dash replied as she also made her own way. Little did they knew that Cindy had hidden herself in the roof with her climbing ability to prevent them from following her. Pyro and Amphibit had reached the Minecraft cave maze area the same time as Cindy, Dash and Scout left. "Oh no, mazes. I suck at mazes." Amphibit commented. "Mmrfh mmh!" Pyro called out as he looked at something. He picked up, and found out that it was a map of the caves. "Hudda hudda huh!" he mumbled. "Wow, I wonder who left that out." Amphibit commented. "Yep, sometimes it's better that you are not on the lead, huh?" he continued. Pyro picked up a white crayon he had stored, and proceeded to mark white lines on where the map pointed out to be the right path. "Uh, why are you marking this path?" Amphibit asked. "Mmrfh mmmrpha mmrfh." Pyro answered. "Oh, I see, you're the helper kind of guy." Amphibit replied. He continued to follow Pyro as he marked the right path with his white crayon. "Oooh, MAZES?! Come on!" Amphibiline said out loud as he found out to be in a maze. "Hey, I found out something!" Twilight said. Amphibline went to where she was, and found out several lines in the stone wall made with white crayon. "I think this is the right path." she pointed out. "Phew. Atleast we don't have to get ourselves lost while trying to find our way out." Amphibiline replied. He and Twilight proceeded to follow the white crayon lines, but when Twilight looked behind, she found out that Amphibiline was also erasing the crayon line as he walked through it. "Wait, why are you erasing the line?" she asked. "So the racer in 8th place will have trouble making his or her way out. After all, this is a race, not a walk in the park, right?" he answered. "Uhh, alright, then..." Twilight replied uneasily. By the time everyone and everypony from 7th place and up left the Minecraft Cave area, Andr finally got to that place. "Caves? That'll be easy, I know the caves like the palm of my hand." she commented as she proceeded to teleport to the right places. Not before taking a stone block, of course. Since it is a souvenir of the race. In the hot and dusty areas of Dustbowl... "Finally! We got out of that dark place!" Dash said in relief as she ended up in BLU's first respawn room. "Yeah, but Cindy's probably way up ahead." Scout replied. "Actually, I was behind you two the whole time. Problem?" Cindy said, surprising Scout and Dash. "Wait, ya was the WHOLE time behind us?" Scout asked. "Duh, that's what I just said!" she answered. Scout proceeded to make the biggest Rage Guy face he ever made. However, he stopped when he realized that he was in Dustbowl. "Oh, now it's MY time to shine! This place, I am perfect in it! It's time for you two to lose!" he boasted. "That's what we'll see about that!" Dash and Cindy both said at once as they ran. Scout proceeded to follow short after. When he saw that they had taken the main path, he used that to his opportunity and proceeded to take the shortcuts. Pyro was reliefed that the cave part was alterady completed, as it was alterady starting to freak him out. However, fortunaly for him, he also found out that the third stage of the race was in a place he was used to: Dustbowl. Pyro proceeded to dance in happiness. "Uh, why are you dancing?" Amphibit asked. "Mmrfh mmfrh mmmhp mmrfh!" Pyro explained. "Oh, good, you know shortcuts! This may help us to get to First place! Lead the way!" he replied. Pyro proceeded to take the same shortcuts Scout took. "Ugh, Scout was right that it is his time to shine..." Dash commented. "He's miles away. I bet he's alterady in the fourth stage of the race." Cindy said. However, to their surprise, they found that Pyro and Amphibit, who were in 4th and 5th place, are now in 2nd and 3rd place. "Wait, how did they got past us?!" Dash exclaimed "Doesn't matters! We have to get past them!" Cindy replied as she ran ahead of Dash. "HEY! Wait for me!" Dash yelled. Pyro and Amphibit noticed that the two are now running fast to try to overtake them back, and as such, began to run as fast as they could to Stage 4. In the alien islands of Lebuí... Scout was alterady pissed at how the islands were so undulationg and hard to cross, plus they were filled with carnivores that disliked when he stood near them for too long. He did find it funny that the Herbivores were completely scared of him. He found it funny to stop and intimidate them, though he quickly resumed the race when he found out that Pyro, Amphibit, Dash and Cindy were nearing. "Ach...can't...keep up....they're...too...fast..." Amphibit said as he gradually ran slower and slower. Pyro was suffering the same exhaustion, and it didn't helped that Percus' moon is also constantly hot, making them get exhausted faster. Well, atleast for Amphibit, Pyro liked heat. "Yeah, face it, we're faster than you!" Dash boasted as she and Cindy overtook Pyro and Amphibit, and soon reached Scout, almost overtaking him. The trio quickly entered the portal leading back to the stadium where they began racing. Pyro and Amphibit shortly entered it aswell. "Hey, look, we're much nearer to the others than I have thought!" Amphibiline pointed as he saw Pyro and Amphibit enter the final portal. "But it's still not enough to win..." he continued sadly. "Don't feel bad, we did all we could." Twilight replied. "Besides, the three in the lead can still fall behind, you know." she continued. "Yeah, you're right." Amphibiline replied. The two finally entered the final portal. "Alright, looks like the racers are back! It's a tie between Scout, Rainbow Dash and Cindy!" Celestia said on the mic. "Wait, Amphibit is not there? I thought he was nice at racing!" The Xorg Omnipotent commented sadly. A few spectators chuckled. Scout was alterady nearing First place, but was overtaken by Cindy, who got to First place, but was then overtaken by Rainbow Dash. She pulled out a little pebble she had stored, and tossed it in the ground. Her plan worked, Scout and Cindy tripped, but her victory was short, as she was also hit by a pebble, and she fell down along with Scout and Cindy. "YOU SUCK RAINBOW DASH!!" A human wearing a shirt with "I HATE PONIES" written in it yelled. However, two security unicorns proceeded to levitate him with magic, and carried him away from the stadium. "UNHAND ME YOU DIRTY PONIES! I HATE YOU ALL!!" he yelled. Amphibit and Pyro hopped above Scout, Dash and Cindy, and made their way towards the finish line. *FLASH* The photo was taken, but neither Pyro nor Amphibit had finished in first... Some time later... "Ouch, my body hurts..." Scout mumbled. "Who even finished first, anyway?" Cindy asked. To their surprise, Twilight walked up to them wearing a golden badge. "Twilight, you won....again?!" Dash asked. "What? No, I only finished in fourth place. You might want to see this photo." Twilight answered as she gave the photo to Dash, Scout and Cindy. True to her words, Twilight wasn't in there. It was ANDR who had finished in first via Teleportation, with Amphibit and Pyro short behind. The three stood there, trying to comprehend how who was in LAST place suddently finishes in FIRST. Everyone and everypony was focusing on the winner area. Andr had recieved a Golden throphy for finishing in first, Amphibit had recieved a Silver throphy for finishing in second, and Pyro had recieved a Bronze throphy for finishing in third. "Nice job, Pyro. You did good." the RED Engineer congratulated. "You did a nice work, Amphibit!" the Xorg Omnipotent said to Amphibit. The latter was left wordless, as a Galactic God had congratulated him, even without having finished in 1st. "Good job, Andr, that was completely unexpected!" Cupa said to her 'Enderman' friend. Rainbow Dash was watching the whole congratulation scene from afar. She thought she would have finished in first, but in reality, she finished in 8th place, also known as Last place. "Dash?" Twilight asked. Dash turned around to find Twilight and the rest of the main cast(Applejack is in a wheelchair), plus Celestia. "Have you learned anything today?" "Yes..." she said with an embarrased tone. "Being the fastest isn't alyways the best. Sometimes, Moderate or even Slow can beat Fast." she continued. "That's a valuable lesson, it might help you in the future to join the Wonderbolts." a voice said. From above, Spitfire hovered down in front of Rainbow Dash. "Whoa! Hey, Spitfire." she said, not knowing what to say. "I know you haven't finished in first, but winning isn't what is important. You see, Pyro and Amphibit were in 4th and 5th place, only having fun in the race. And they finished in 2nd and 3rd. This is even more for Andr, she was in 8th place for the entire race, but in the end, finished in 1st." she said. "Plus, you did a nice job in the race. I'll be seeing you as you race next time." she continued. She then flew away with the rest of the Wonderbolts. "By the way...", another voice said. "Who's this now?" Dash asked. Turns out that it's Scout and Cindy. "Oh, it's you." she continued with a not-impressed tone. "I want to say I'm sorry for making fun of you, and for arguing with your friend. Terribly sorry." Cindy said. The rest of the main cast seemed to accept her apology request. Cindy then pushed Scout fowards. "Alright, alright! Um, sorry for saying bad things about your homeland. I thought it was nothing but some cheesy happy land for little girls. 'And I still think' But I realized that it isn't all that girly." he continued. "Fine, I forgive you this time." she said. "By the way, I'd like to have another race, just us three, should we meet again." she continued. Scout and Cindy agreed. "So, friends?" "Yep." "Yeah, I think." Pyro was about to leave the stadium, but he stopped as he felt being poked on his back. He turned around to find a pony dressed exactly like him, but doning the Flamboyant Flamenco. "Mmmm phfprm mmmfmmh mmmf?" the pony asked, as he extended a note block and a pen. Pyro figured out it was an autograph. He signed it with his own letter. The pony proceeded to bounce with joy around, and went away bouncing. "Pyro, who was that pony?" Engineer asked. "Mmmm mmfrh, mmm. Mmmm mmfrh." Pyro answered. Author's Note Alright, my first one-shot story is done! This story was an Idea I had earlier today, and I figured I should use this to show that I'm not completely stopped. Also, if you have readed my announcement in my profile, this is NOT the story I said I would make! And yes, the Enderman and the Cave Spider DO look like humans, not like the true Minecraft mobs.
