Thunderlane is a slightly timid Pegasus, a Wonderbolt in training, and a Ponyville local. One day, he receives an invitation from a good friend of his, one that doesn't give him much of a choice. Soon, a good day out, one that he is dragged into, takes a turn for the worse.
Now Thunderlane is the host of a particular spell, one that grants him a quality that, in his view, may be worst than death.
