CJ 'Returns' Home

"Charles Johnson," the superintendent of Madison High called to the crowd of students in their yellow and white cap and gowns. Charles stands from his chair in the fifth row and he approaches the stage, his parents filming him as he shakes the superintendents hand. Once he was handed his diploma he turned to the crowd and threw two peace signs to them before returning to his seat. The final words he heard from the superintendent, who he called the greatest superintendent in the world, were Congratulations Class of 2010.

Charles Johnson, or CJ as he was called by almost everyone, grinned at the memory of graduation two weeks ago and the excited faces of his parents and his older sister. CJ was built like the average cacuasian male, not to buff but not chubby, standing at 6'7", tallest in his class, and weighing 150 lbs. Girls at Madison High in West Virginia would say that CJ was the hottest guy in school with neck length dark brown hair, blue-green eyes set behind rimless glasses, the 'perfect' tan, and a smile with teeth as white as the marble walls of the school. All the girls loved him and he wouldn't complain, not at all. But no matter how hard they tried none of them managed to get a date with him because he always told them the same thing, that they weren't his type. But the real reason why is because no girl really caught his interest.

He was currently in his room on his laptop browsing the internet, looking up random funny things that caught his eye. He was on his favorite website, PinkieDB, looking in the captions tag at an image featuring applebloom from when the cmc participated in the talent show with the captions i am like so original on it. He laughed at the image and wiped a tear from his eye as he continued browsing the site. CJ had always felt, in his eyes, at peace whenever he looked up anything related to the show My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. Ever since he first saw the first episode that aired on the HUB he has been hooked on it, though he couldn't explain why. He was browsing the Lyra tag when he felt drowsy.

"Well guess I better take a break for a bit," he said as he turned his laptop off and stretching, "Hope I don't have that weird dream again."

For the past few nights CJ has dreamt an odd dream that always started the same. He would find himself wandering a strange tunnel lined with some kind of slime, on his way to a destination he didn't know but went to it anyways. For some odd reason whenever he looked around he didn't see anyone else in the tunnel though he strangely knew that there were others in there. He would always come to an opening that lead into a large cavern that was made to resemble a throne room. A gruff female voice beckoned him forward and he obeyed without a second thought. He approached the voice and stopped  a few feet from it and bowed. He knew what the voice was telling him but he couldn't hear what the voice was saying. Like always he would nod his head and leave the cavern and pass the threshold before waking.

"What's with that dream anyway and why does it feel like...... a memory?" he asked himself as he lay in his bed not bothering to take his glasses off. "But I guess it's just feeling like that because of the reoccurence of the dream. Man I wish I knew what was going on in that dream."

He slowly drifted off to sleep. As expected he found himself walking down the same tunnel towards the same destination. He walked into the same cavern but this time he saw something on the floor in the middle of the cavern floor, something moving. He curiously approached it, a feeling of familiarity and fear filling his form as he slowly moved towards this creature. He was within reaching distance of this small animal and started to move a hand towards it, his skin tingling and crawling as he drew closer. The creature turned to him, it's eyes glowing blue-green, and CJ backed up from it. He recognized the creature as a changeling from the royal wedding finale. The changeling rose from it's spot on the floor and stood in front of CJ, eyeing him curiously. CJ and the Changeling just stared at each other, an eerie silence filling the cavern as their eyes were locked on each other. The changeling made the first move and lunged at CJ.

CJ sat up abruptly and breathed heavily, sweat decorating his face. He couldn't believe what had happened. The dream was different from the past nights and he finally saw someone, or rather something, else in that cavern. But why was it a changeling?

"Hmm well at least it's better than noth....... what the hell?" CJ said as he realized he wasn't in his room. He realized he has woken up in the, much to his surprise, Everfree Forest. More specifically the ruins of the old castle. "Again what the hell?"

He looked around and sure enough it was the same ruins as in the very first two episodes of the show. He shook in excitement and stood up from the spot he was laying on. He walked around the current room he was in, taking a closer look at the detail of the structure, of the craftsmanship done for the once elegent building. He turned his head to the right and saw the steps that Nightmare Moon was on with the elements of harmony and mocking Twilight. He smiled as he remembered what happened in this room, when Luna was returned to normal and reunited with her sister, where twilight realized that her friends were her spark to ignite the elements of harmony, and where the beginning of all their fantastic adventures began.

"Hmm maybe I could find Ponyville if I really am in Equestria," he said to himself as he headed for the stairs, "Maybe I could actually meet the Mane 6." He jumped in excitement almost causing him to fall down the stairs. He steadied himself before descending the stone staircase to the lower level of the castle, to the old resting place of the elements of harmony. "Wow I still can't beleive I'm in the old castle in the Everfree. This is like a dream come true. Bite me Max I'm here first."

He smiled and heads for the door that led out of the castle. When he crossed the door he felt something odd pass over him and he sighed happily, a sigh from when you've been away from home for to long. He was confused by the feeling but pressed on.

"I'm Home."
