One day Rarity went out to get gems for the dress she was going to make to wear at princeses Lunas birthday to wicth
her and all of her friends have been invited to. But when she spots this gem that begins
to glow she gose to colect it but when she gets within 4 feet of it shoots out a green beam that surounds and emcompases her and then levitates her off the ground as she is scearming in agony as the green litraly begiens to change her cutie mark into a image of the gem itself.Then the green beam retracts back into the gem and drops Rarity to the floor as she gets up a green flare gose across her eyes as she picks up the gem and puts it in
her bag and then procedes back to ponyville to plan out how to destory the elements of harmony. She walked into SugarCube Corner and was instantly greatly but a excited PiinkiePie as she had just gotten her inviataion to Lunas birthday.
"Darling could i see you in the back i need to talk to you about something" said Rarity"
"Sure" said Pinkie Pie.
As soon as her and Pinkie pie were out of sight Rarity pulled out
the glowing gem and it shot out the same green beam that hit Rarity at Pinkie Pie. Pinkie Pie try to resitst the power of the gem she twisted and turend all in a futile atempt to break loses of the gems power but in the end Pinkie Pie surcomed the gems mighty power and the iris of her eye turend to a dark shade of green then she followed Rarity out the door.
Meanwhile at Sweet Apple Arches
AppleJack was out in the orcrid buck apples when Twilight comes up to her and ask her if she has seen Rarity around she needed to know if she had gotten a invatation to Lunas birthday as well.
"well she did mention something about going out to the outskirts to get gems a for a dress she is makeing for someones birthday but i was to busy bucking these apples to listen to whos birthday it was"AppleJack said.
"thanks i keep asking around to see if anypony has seen her. She searched all over the town asking peopel if they have seen Rarity but they had told her no new information from what AppleJack had told her.
Then she went to SugarCube Corner and ask carrotcake is he has seen Rarity
"Acually yea i have she went to talk to PinkiePie and then they both left i think they were heading for fluttershy' house

ed down to fluttershys cottage and she knockded on the door at first no one anserd then but the second time she tried knocking fluttershy came to the door

"no i feal fine"said fluttershy then twilight asked fluttershy if she had seen Rarity she repiled no then twilight said that carrotcake had told her that Rarity was heading over her then fluttershy said "maybe she hasent arvived yet." Then Twilight went home for she had grown tired and went back to her house plus she had to finish a book Princese Celstesia had assigned her .She then read that there is this gem made out of discords of harmony it said that anyone who aproched it would get controled by it .Common ways to tell if someone is under the gems power are paleness of the skin and a green tint in the eyes of the victim. Then she remeberd fluttershy was pale and had a tint of green in her eyes when she viste a few hours she was shocked to find out that one of her bestfriends could be under the control of a evil power she went backd down to fluttershy cottage as qucickly as she could and started knocking on the door vigorsly and Rarity anser the door
"Darling why are knocking on peoples doors in this ungodly hour" she explaind that fluttershy is being controlled by a evil gem .
"Twilight go home i dont have time to lisen to your crazy rambilings". Twilight was bafffeld by Rarity's hurtful words. She then returned home still wondering why Rarity was so rude to her.
The next morning Twilight she had everything planed out she was going to go pick up her dress from Rarity's boutqece.
Pick up the cake from SugarCube Corner because today Princese Luna's birthday and Twilight was goning to make sure this day is going to be perfect. She went to Raritys but when she got there Rarity was not there and Twilight searched everwhere and Rarity was no where to be found. Then she spotted Rarity's journol and agaisnt her bettter judgement she went snooping through the latest entries
Then she uncovered a dark plot to get to the Elements of Harmony destory them then kill their physcal counterparts.
Then she heard the door open she sees that it applejack and quickly hides the journal applejack is here for her dress to and she started yelling out for Rarity but to found no response then she saw Twilight
"Hey Twilight have you seen Rarity around here I need my dress for Lunas party
"No I have been looking for her to ,but I found something interesting here " she said showing her dear friend Rarity's evil plot.
"No that can't be right Rarity would never do a thing like that "
"Well look her right in the book it says that she is planning to do it all tonight at lunas party at midnight
But as they were speaking they didn't notice Rarity walk in a they didn't notice that she had their whole conversation.
