Chapters Three Friends, A Mystic Tome, and Ponies.
The streets of New York City, New York. They could be loud, dangerous, or even cold. Although today its rather boring for the three friends of Tabe; a seventeen year old boy, with dark brown hair,and with a high intelligence. Roy; nine years old, he has regular brown hair, hes not to intelligent but he does refer to himself in third-person. Then theres Lola shes fourteen, with the lightest of brown hair, she can be insanely excitable over the smallest of things, but can be really calm when the time comes.
They were all sitting down on the steps of Lola's house, Roy was practically squirming in his seat, for he was so bored.
"Roy thinks we should be doing something right now, I mean it's Saturday, come on guys!" Roy was practically screaming, boredom arrives easily to Roy.
"Roy calm down, its just one of those days where we wait for something to happen, I also think I've explain this to you quite well." Lola pointed this out rather calmly, although this just irritated Roy.
"Well Roy doesn't see you coming up with any ideas!" Roy flailed his arms.
Lola turned around to Roy to give him that devastating stare she gives to people when they irritate her. Roy practically froze up with fear. After that Roy shut his mouth and played with his shoe strings.
"Will you two calm down, eventually something will happen." Tabe ran his fingers through his hair and stretched on of his arms. Today was not the day to be a kid on the streets of New York. A few minutes later Lola's dad opened the door and looked at the three of them. He put out of his smokes on the stone railing and threw it in the garbage. You wouldn't expect a man like Lola's father to smoke.
"Wow, you three are bored on a Saturday? Well if you guys really want something to do, you could clean the attic, I'd be willing to pay." Tabe looked at Roy and Lola, they shrugged.
"I guess we've got nothing better to do, lets go guys." they all stood up and followed Lola's father to the attic. When they arrived to it Tabe brought down the ladder to the attic, Roy was the first up, he was probably more excited to do something.
"Roy thinks this place is very dusty." he said this while coughing a bit from dust he brushed off on a box. Lola began sorting through a few boxes in the corner, it was filled with old books and documents. Tabe was sitting on a sturdy box reading a few notes, they seemed to resemble a theory of an alternate universe.
Roy picked up a funny statue, it resembled a weird looking dragon thing, it was all distorted and had odd limbs from different animals.
"Hey guys, Roy found a weird statue." he held it up for Lola and Tabe to see.
"Is that a dragon?" Lola was skeptical of this weird dragon thing.
Roy shrugged and laid it on a table. They went back to looking through the boxes. They found a few more statues, one that looked like a demonic horse that had holes through out its body. The other was of three dogs that had gem like collars. Tabe studied these statues, he couldn't come to a conclusion to what they were.
"Hey Roy where do you find these things?" Roy perked up from a nearby corner.
"Roy finds them in this corner!" he picked up yet another one, but this one was different it had six horses, five of them had some sort of necklace on, but the one in the middle had a weird crown.
"Let me take a look in this corner." Tabe stepped through the boxes and into the corner, he pulled out an open box and laid it down in the middle of the attic.
Tabe looked around the box for a minute. "Well go on, open the box Tabe." Lola was growing impatient rather quickly, maybe a bit to curious. "Well grab me something sharp to cut the tape on this." Lola rolled her eyes and picked up a pair of scissors, she handed them to Tabe.
Tabe cut all the tape, eventually opening the box and finding a book, it had a symbol of a horse like creature on it. Tabe moved some dust off of it and picked it up. It was rather heavy, but Tabe was able to pick it up and lay it on the table next to the statues. He opened it up to the first page, the author read Lyra Heartstrings.
"Uhmmmm I've never heard of that author?" Lola pointed out.
"I haven't either. Here lets skim a bit." Tabe started flipping pages, there were tons of pages talking about humans, it was an odd topic for a book. Tabe stopped when he came to a sort of circular symbol. It was an odd yellow color, he studied the symbol, although he noticed it wasn't finished.
"Hey look for like a yellow crayon or something." Roy began looking through some more boxes, he eventually pulled out a box of crayons.
"Roy found some!" he took out a yellow one and handed it to Tabe.
Tabe began drawing the circular line where it didn't end, by the time he finished it flashed of a blinding yellow light, the yellow light forced a vortex like structure to suck up Tabe, Roy, and Lola. They were flying through this tube like vortex, Roy was holding onto the table that was sucked in. Lola was holding some of the statues, Tabe was holding onto the book. It took them awhile to stop flying, but by the time they did they were on solid ground.
The area around them was cartoon like, the trees were gently flowing in the wind, birds were chirping, and all three friends had fallen into a field. Tabe eventually regained his composure, the book was open and on the ground.
"Roy? Lola?" Roy was face flat on the ground, he turned over and rubbed his eyes.
"Roy is having a headache!" Roy rubbed his head and sat up. Lola was on her knees, she was straighting her hair before she stood up.
The three friends looked around and wandered where they were. "Guys where are we, this place looks like a children story book." Roy laughed at that comment.
"Hey guys I see a tall building!" Lola pointed to a building that had a pointed roof.
"Alright, lets head over there, see if someone can help us figure out where we are." The three friends all walked into this town although they were caught by a big surprise.
What they saw were ponies walking around, talking even, it was as if they fell into a universe of ponies.
"Ponies!?" Roy was clearly confused. Although one pony stopped to duck behind bushes, she dragged her friend with down.
"Bon Bon! It's humans! I told they were real!" Bon Bon was actually surprised her friend was correct. Lyra was jumping up and down full of excitement.

"Seriously! Roy thinks ponies look..........weird!" Roy was only nine years old so he couldn't be that much mature for this situation. Tabe was trying to figure out why these ponies looked like a cartoon.
"Where in heck are we is the more important thing Roy." Tabe searched for any more people, but as the far the eye could see he could only see ponies. Roy was clenching his hair, completely going insane on where he is. Although Lola was kind of fascinated at them.
"Maybe its not so bad, they don't seem hostile."
"Roy thinks its because they haven't seen us yet." Lola gave Roy that stare again, he instantly looked the other way. Tabe rolled his eyes at the two and got up.
"Well no time like the present, come on you two." Tabe stepped onto the streets and began walking through town. Roy and Lola stopped their bickering and jumped up to join Tabe in walking through the town.
"What are those?"
These were some of the comments that nearby residents said as they walked through town, they were met by odd looks, even some people running into their houses. Roy and Lola felt uncomfortable, but Tabe looked as if he didn't care.
"Tabe, how can you be so calm, these ponies are practically starring at us." Tabe chuckled and didn't answer Lola, only kept walking and looking as if he knew where he was going. He mainly searched for that giant building. They walked around aimlessly for a while until Tabe saw the building, he pointed to it and started walking towards it, of course his friends behind him.
"What do you think it is Tabe?" as Roy said walking by Tabe's side. Tabe stopped and took a look around, for a sign or some sort.
"I'm guessing its the town hall, its in the middle of town, not many people are here, and I just need a guess." Lola face palmed and joined her friends as they walk inside.
There was a pony at the desk looking through a book.
"Hello there 'mam, we may need your help with something."
"What you need............" the second she looked up she almost fell out of her seat, she was a bit puzzled at these three.
"Ummm, yes we would like to know where we are." the receptionist was still shocked but was able to answer.
"Y-your in P-ponyville." Tabe looked at Lola and Roy, they shrugged.
"Thanks for your help, come on guys." the second they left the receptionist went into the Mayor's office.
"Mayor Mare, we had some awkward visitors." Mayor Mare looked up from the paper work and lifted an eyebrow.
"What kind of awkward visitors?" the receptionist pointed outside the Mayor's window. The Mayor's jaw dropped and was just as puzzled as her receptionist was.
"Well, now we know were in.....Ponyville." Tabe, Roy, and Lola sat down at a nearby table, they were all looking for something to do. Just like New York.
Three ponies walked up to the three friends and casually looked at them as if they were just new residents. Tabe instantly looked at them. One had a sort of brown hat, one had a rainbow mane, the other had a stylish hat on.
"Excuse me, but are you folks new to Ponyville?" Tabe looked around making sure she wasn't talking to anyone else.
"Are you talking to us?" Tabe was a bit skeptical, although this mare laughed at him.
"Well of course I am, who else would I be talking to?" Roy was unimpressed, Lola was looking at the pony with the hat, she was drooling over the hat. Tabe looked at the both of them and rolled his eyes.
"Well from our day today we didn't really expect someone to be so friendly." this mare laughed at these few, the two ponies in the back then approached.
"Oh don't worry darlings, the ponies here are sometimes skeptical of new residents, especially if they are different from ponies." these mares were oddly nicer then the other residents.
"Well, I guess I shall introduce myself, and my friends; I'm Tabe, that little hot head is Roy, and the one who loves your hat is Lola."
"Its nice to meet you folks, I'm Applejack, thats Rainbow Dash, and this is Rarity." Rarity nodded at Lola, Applejack bowed her hat to Tabe, Rainbow Dash was eying Roy, Roy was eying back. Some intensity already boiling between them.
"You guys wouldn't know any place to eat, sleep, or do something?" Rarity, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash all looked at each other and laughed.
"Oh woo, you folks are funny, here come with us we'll show you exactly the type of food we got here in Ponyville." So Tabe looked at Roy, and Lola.
"We might as well go, we've got no other choice." Lola pointed out.
"Roy will go, but he won't like it." Roy pouted and stood up with Lola. Seems the three friends at least made some friends, they all decided it was for the best. Although, they still need to figure out if they can get home.
"Bon Bon, we're are going to get close to those humans, one way or another."
"Lyra I don't think this is a good idea, they're just humans, can't we just leave them be?" Lyra shook Bon Bon and looked at her seriously.
"No!" Lyra was serious about the new found humans.

By the time Tabe, Roy, and Lola arrived where Applejack was leading them they arrived to a sort of farm, there were three more ponies eating apples in front of the farm house. Two had pink hair, one that was straight and covering most her face, the other was extremely puffy. The other pony that was with them was reading a book, she had purple straight hair with a sort of pink streak through it. Tabe couldn't stop thinking about the one with the straight pink hair, he thought about it for a while until he met the other three mares.
"Hey y'all check these folks out!" all three mares looked at the friends. They were all a bit baffled by there appearances. Roy still looking bored as usual, Lola was a bit happy to see new faces. The purple mare stood up first and walked over to us, of course us practically towering over her.
"Well, its nice to meet you three, I'm Twilight Sparkle, I see you met some of my friends, well the rest are over there, the shy ones Fluttershy and the one scarfing down apples is Pinkie Pie." she smiled at them, Tabe was wondering why these six were the only ones who welcomed them.
"Well, Its nice to meet you Twilight, I'm Tabe, hot head here is Roy, and this is Lola." Roy basically shrugged it off, Lola just stood there looking as happy as usual.
"Well I'm glad we have some new residents, why don't we show you around, Tabe you can come with me and Fluttershy, Roy can go with Rainbow Dash and Applejack, and Lola can go with Pinkie Pie and Rarity." Tabe looked at Lola and Roy, Lola was pleading for a yes, although Roy was begging for a no. Tabe shrugged.
"Sure why not, we'd be happy to do so." Roy face palmed and Lola jumped with joy. Fluttershy and Twilight were waiting for Tabe leading to the field. Rainbow Dash and Applejack were waiting for Roy by the path leading to town. Pinkie Pie and Rarity were waiting for Lola, although Lola was already with them. So the three friends joined each group of ponies
"So Tabe where are you guys from?" Tabe was shocked to be asked that question. He tried to come up with a cover up story, although he was curious if he could actually tell the truth. He just decided to go with something practical.
"We're travelers, we arrived in Ponyville only a couple hours ago, we couldn't do much because neither one of us really had a family." that part was true though, as Tabe explained to Twilight.
They stopped to listen to Tabe's story about his friends. "Well as of me, its just me, I group up with only a mother, until she got sick, by this time I was already up got adoption 'cause my mother was ill." Twilight and Fluttershy both gasped, they continued to listen to Tabe's story.
"By the time I was in the orphanage, I was thirteen and I met a four year old lonely boy, that boy was Roy, we became like brothers through the years." Meanwhile.
"Tabe was Roy's only friend, Roy had no one else to turn to, Tabe was the only person really willing to hang out and take care of me, that was until one day, Ray and Tabe decided to run away from the orphanage." Rainbow Dash and Applejack sat casually as Roy explained his side of the story. Meanwhile, again.
"Roy and Tabe were amazing friends when I met them that day on the streets, they were about sixteen and eight when I met them, I was only thirteen, so I ran to my father and they offered them a place to stay until Tabe grew up to be seventeen, then he got a well paying job, and him and Roy have been living together since, as if they were brothers." Rarity and Pinkie Pie were really engaged with Lola's story.
"Well darling, I'm just glad all of you decided to travel together as friends, it's as if you guys have a bit of the element of harmonies in each of you." Rarity made a big smile at Lola, Applejack patted Roy's back, and Fluttershy gave a little hug to Tabe. They were all surprised at the mares show of friendship. Although, Roy was practically crying a few tears, Tabe held back a cry, Lola was practically bawling.
A few hours pass and each friend became closer to who they were paired up with, Roy loved Rainbow Dash's amazing speed, Lola loved Rarity's designs, and Tabe loved to read books with Twilight. It's as if they could live in this world forever, although they knew they would have to find this out eventually. That's why Tabe decided to read any books Twilight had that involved alternate universes. Twilight brought every single book she owned on alternate universes for him.
"Alright I have all these books; Alternate Universes For Dummies, Alternate Universes Galore, and the ten book series of Alternation of Universes." Twilight set them on a desk for Tabe to read. So, he began reading.
Meanwhile, Roy was watching Rainbow Dash fly at sonic speeds with Applejack in a hot air balloon.
"Go Rainbow Dash!" Roy yelled. Applejack was trying to keep Roy from falling off the balloon.
"I call this the Buccaneer Blitz!" she performed this move for Roy, it was incredible to Roy, he could not believe his eyes. He was completely wrong about all these ponies, he was having the time of his life. Applejack simply sat back and laughed as she saw the little boy mess around.
While Roy was having fun, and Tabe was reading, Lola was having a lesson by Rarity on designing clothing, also while having a little small party with Pinkie Pie.
"Alright, darling can you hand me that light blue fabric over there in the corner?" Lola got up from eating a cupcake, and stitching a dress to grab the fabric. She handed it to Rarity, although she levitated the fabric to her. Lola happily sat down with Pinkie Pie and ate cupcakes. Seems everyone was having fun. Although while back at Twilights house.
"Booooon Booooon, I need them, I must have them!" Bon Bon stopped her friend from practically going insane, and or attacking Tabe. Lyra prepared a net trap outside of Twilights door.
"Were going to capture that human one way or another." What Lyra didn't know was that she didn't hide it. So she walked onto the net and sprung it herself. It was high to where Tabe couldn't see her when he was walking out.
"Bon Bon! Cut me down! We must capture that human!" Bon Bon face hoofed and grabbed some scissors, cutting her friend down from the net.
"We must try more!" Lyra ran off. Bon Bon shaked her head. This was going to be a long week.
