The wooden plank on her door was beginning to rot. She knew she needed to get more, but she didn't want to risk stepping into the light and having the killer see her. The drapes were closed, forbidding any light from entering her cold, dark boutique. She didn't want Sweetie to play outside and risk her getting caught.
Pinkie Pie disappeared a few weeks ago. At first, every pony didn't take it too seriously. They all thought she was just playing a huge game of hide-and-seek. But then, as the days went by, other ponies began to disappear. Rarity was so frightened that she locked herself in her boutique, only coming out when it was essential. Rarity was horrified. She was shaking more and more everyday. Every night she had nightmares from being so scared. About blood, stitches, knives, and a pink figure. Every time, the figure was clearer.
Then, one night, she had a dream. It was different from the others. It was about her and her friends at Sugarcube Corner. They were having a party. And everypony was there. Even Pinkie Pie. She looked so happy. So friendly. Then, the horror began. All of a sudden, all of her friends were gone. Everypony, except Pinkie. She kept that happy, innocent smile. All around her, the building became a destroyed structure. Cracks everywhere. No light. Rarity was scared.
Pinkie suddenly appeared in front of her. Her smile was still there, as though there was a smile mask stitched to her face. Then, her smile was replaced with a evil, insane grin. Her mane became slim and straight. All around the poor, scared unicorn, screams of innocent ponies flooded her ears. She tried to cover it, but Pinkie prevented Rarity from blocking the noise. She began to tear up. She looked at Pinkie Pie. She spoke with a almost unnatural voice.
"Your number... It's coming soon..."
Next thing she knew, Rarity was pushing away her covers and sitting up. It was a dream. She felt something wet. And it was not from the sweat. It was from between her legs. Rarity covered it in embarrassment. Was she in love? How could she? Rarity could not explain it, but she was. Immediately, she got to work. She wiped her juices off her legs and began to stich up a doll of the new Pinkie Pie. But she quickly ran out of materials. She was almost done, but she was missing materials for the most essential part. Her mane and her torso.
She tried to find something to use as improvised materials. While looking for something to use, she found a box. It smelled awful. She opened it and found Opal's dead body inside it. She dropped it in disgust and quickly backed away. She had completely forgotten. She did not want Sweetie to see that Opal was dead, so she hid her body until she had time to bury her. The fur was still intact, but you could barely tell that it was ever white. The fur gave Rarity a idea. She skinned Opal and used the fur to make the mane and to cover up the doll's stomach. But skinning her pride and joy did not leave Rarity with much happiness. In fact, it left her with only guilt. So she ripped out Opal's heart carefully and placed it in the stomach and sewed the flaps together. Now Opal loved her mommy again.
After telling all her friends about her dream, they were checking on her everyday, especially Pinkie Pie and Twilight. They assured her that everything was ok and that they were close to finding the killer, but she knew it was all lies.
Rarity was in her boutique, sewing, yet again, another dress. She was not particularly proud of this one, however. She has worked on it for hours with little to no rest. She was certain that she was beginning to sweat. The dress was for a customer. As a fashion designer, it was her duty to make dress she makes perfect for the customer, even if it means for her to step out of her comfort zone. Opal was acting strangely aggressive. Ignoring her master and rudely hissing was the least of what she did. But, Rarity's order was distracting her too much for her to notice. After hours more, she decided to take a break. With only the top half done, she was beginning to wonder if this order was a lost cause.
To ease her mind a bit, she decided to go for some tea. For Rarity, tea was the ultimate stress reliever. But today was not normal. As she entered the kitchen to prepare her special "Island Sea" tea, she felt a pain slice her leg. She looked down and saw a small slit on her leg. Blood slowly came out. Opal was walking away, leaving a trail of blood behind her. Strangely, it did not hurt Rarity that much. In fact, she liked it. The feeling of her blood slowly flowing down her leg was amazing.
Sweetie Belle heard the commotion. She went downstairs to see her big sister bleeding.
"Big Sis! Are you ok?"
For a moment, Rarity was lost in trance at this new pleasure. But Sweetie's voice snapped her out of it.
"Huh? Wha...?"
"Sis? What happened to your leg? And... Your face?"
"Oh. Opal was just being a little- Wait, what? My face?"
Rarity did not recall Opal scratching her face. But she could feel something going down it. It was flowing on her cheek and was reaching the edge of her mouth. Rarity used her horn and grabbed a mirror. Nervously, she looked at her reflection. What she saw was absolutely shocking. There was a huge slash on her left eye, another three-claw scratch between her eyes, and one lone scratch on the edge of her mouth and left ear. All nine wounds were bleeding severely.
"Playful..."
Rarity's stomach was tingling with all sorts of sensations. Too many for Rarity to even name.
Soon, she decided to record her life through a camera. She sat down politely and began to speak to the camera.
"Hello, everypony. I have just had a awful tangle with Opalescence and I do not wish to show my face outside for quite a while. When Opalescence brutally scratched my face, I felt a strange sensation. I could not feel the pain as much as the pleasure. I seemed to enjoy the pain. It was as if I enjoy pain overall." Rarity began to feel a chill go up her spine. She shook it off and continued to report to the camera.
"Nevertheless, I do not wish Sweetie Belle to know Opal died. Until I have an opportunity to bury Opalescence, I will have to keep her in a box, away from Sweetie. It would break her heart, as well as mine. That it all." She clicked the button and the camera stopped recording.
Rarity began thinking about the other day. What was that feeling she felt. Of pleasure? Was she a masochist? A being who inflicts self harm for sexual pleasures? Rarity tried to shake off the fact. Today was her annual get-together with her friend
Fluttershy at the spa. She could not have such thoughts on this great day. Suddenly, a knock came to the door. Rarity walked to the wooden door. The handle slowly swayed as the knocks continued. She opened it to see Twilight on the other side of it.
"Good morning, Rarity."
"Twilight! What a pleasant surprise!"
"Likewise! Can I talk to you for a minute?"
"Of course! Come in!"
She opened the wide enough for the purple unicorn to pass through. The look on her face worried Rarity.
"Are you alright, darling?"
She looked back. "I was about to ask you the same thing. I heard about you and Opal. I just wanted to come check on you."
Rarity placed her hoof on her face, where her scars have stopped bleeding, but were not quite healed yet.
"Oh, I'm fine! You do not need to worry, Twilight!"
Twilight gave Rarity sort of a denying look. "Those scars look pretty dug in, Rarity. Maybe you should have somepony look into it?"
"That will not be necessary, Twilight! I have a horn, no? I can handle a little scratches."
"Ok, then. Well, if you need anything, tell me, ok?"
"Ok! Thank you for coming by!"
She closed the door as slowly as Twilight was getting out of view. She had to get ready for the spa day with Fluttershy. After applying make up, for who knows why, she entered her little sister's room. She was cuddling into a ball on the bed. She was asleep. Rarity kissed her sister on the forehead and left her new doll on a chair facing right at the bed.
She waited for several minutes in front of the spa, waiting for her friend to arrive. Finally, she did. She seemed to be carrying a box of some sort. Rarity was fairly confused.
"Fluttershy! What is that box for?" she asked.
"Oh, well. I heard about you and Opal, so I decided to fix up your scratches while we were here," she explained in a quiet voice.
Rarity secretly loved the feeling of pain. To her, it was almost orgasmic. She did not want Fluttershy to fix her. But she did not want to let anypony know about her "secret pleasures".
She quickly thought of something to say. "It's fine, darling. I have magic. I can use it to make it go away." Simple, but convincing. Fluttershy did not appear to be moved.
"But not letting your scratches heal naturally could lead to serious damage to your body! You could be in pain for months! Years! Maybe even your whole life!"
The fact that not letting her body naturally heal leading to serious pain for quite a while sounded good to Rarity, and did not really concern her. Rarity did not want to take the conversation any further. She just came to spend some time with her friend. Not to argue.
"Fluttershy! Can we please just go to the spa and enjoy ourselves?"
"Oh, well... I suppose..."
Rarity and Fluttershy left the spa hours later. Their fur glittering in the shining Sun and their newly brushed and colored manes flowing in the light breeze of summer. The warm water of the hot tubs seemed to have washed away Fluttershy's concern for Rarity's injuries, which she was glad about.
Rarity clutched onto the pink fabric of her doll tightly. She sewed the last bits of the doll into place, completing it after days of no sleep. Rarity was about to collapse from exhaustion. Now, she felt more comfortable with the doll around. Perhaps it was because it had Opal heart in it. Or maybe it was because the doll was made to look like Pinkamena, Rarity's only real love.
The doll seemed as though it was looking directly at her. Rarity already took a liking to the new doll. She soon began to treat the doll like a living pony. And so did Sweetie Belle.
As lunchtime arrived, Rarity prepared lunch for her and her little sister to eat. She was making carrot and potato soup. But she needed a knife to cut the vegetables. She ravaged through the drawer of utensils to find a kitchen knife. As she found it, her curiosity was aroused by the sharp, pointy steel blade. She wondered how it would feel to have her skin pierced by the cold blade. She lifted her hoof. She then slowly sliced the end of it.
Her eyes were tearing, but she loved the feeling. She didn't want to stop. But then she remembered why she was in there in the first place.
"Hey, sis! What's taking so long?"
Rarity panicked. She quickly wrapped her cut with a towel.
"Um... Just a second!"
While Rarity and Sweetie were enjoying their lunch, Rarity was furious with herself for cutting her hoof. However, Sweetie didn't notice the towel. After washing the dishes and watching Sweetie play with her friends for a few minutes, she went into her filming room and began recording.
"Hello again. I seem to be enjoying pain. It is not something I'm happy about. But I suppose all I can do is embrace it. Sweetie is not yet aware of my behavior and new intrest, but it is only a matter of time before she does. More and more of my friends have been takin notice to my 'new facial features'. Fluttershy tried to tend to them yesterday, but I turned down the offer. For whatever reason, it still stings at times, which I like to feel," she explained.
"I also had a very strange dream last night. I dreamed that I was with my friends at a party on Sugarcube Corner. In the bakery, to be precise. Then, everypony was gone. Only me and Pinkie remained. She was still smiling when everything around us went dark. Then, she grew into a evil grin and I could hear screaming ponies." Rarity began to shake as she told about her dream.
"She said that my number was soon... What did she mean by that? Well, that is not something to be concerned about. Nothing else, my little ponies. Tata!"
Rarity then turned off the camera and left the dark room.
As she left the room, Rarity could not stop thinking about what she just confessed to the camera, about her love for pain. As the day went by, she began thinking about Sweetie Belle in the confusion of all of it. Would she like it too? Rarity wanted to find out. But she didn't want to hurt her precious little sister at the same time. After much conflict with herself, she decided.
Sweetie awakened, her eyes covered with a rag and a ball gag hanging around her neck. Sweetie was breathing heavily and trying to see.
"Huh? What- Where am I? Rarity? Are you there? Sis?"
Rarity was watching, holding onto her dear doll. "Should I do it?" she asked the doll. It remained motionless.
"Big Sis? Let me go! This is just a game right?" Tears were coming through the rag covering her eyes.
"I'm sorry, Sweetie Belle. This is not my choice anymore, is it Pinkamena?" Rarity continued to talk to the doll, as if Pinkamena was talking through the doll itself, telling Rarity what to do. Rarity set up the camera, facing Sweetie. SHe pressed the button, causing the camera to make a beeping noise which notified her that it was recording. Rarity levitated the knife over to Sweetie.
"Please, sis! Don't do this! Let me go! Please!"
"Just relax. I promise you will love this."
"Love it? Love wha-"
Rarity moved the ball gag into Sweetie's and began cutting into the poor, helpless filly. Rarity was about to go out of control when a voice came from the door.
"Rarity! Are you in here? It's me Twilight! Just checking on you!"
Rarity began to panic. She did not expect Twilight to visit so late.
"Oh fu-. No no no no no no."
Rarity ran up to the door as soon as Twilight opened it.
"Twiiiilight! Fancy seeing you! I wish I could talk but I am a busy, busy mare!"
Twilight looked at Rarity with concern. "Rarity? Are you ok? You don't look so good." Rarity's mane was out of place. The anticipation for cutting her own little sister made Rarity's wounds let some blood pass through too.
"What ever do you mea Twilight? I am perfectly fine!" Rarity tried to get her friend to leave. She could hear the camera beeping. Just then she realized that she forgot to charge it. She could also hear Sweetie undoing her ball gag. If she did not do something quick, she would get caught cutting a filly, and you do not even want to know what the punishment is for that.
Rarity tried to get Twilight to talk with her outside, but she heard something coming from the boutique.
"What was that?" asked Twilight. She had enough. She pushed Rarity away and entered the boutique looking for whatever may be causing Rarity to be acting strange.
As soon as Twilight entered, she was interrupted by first a cry for help.
"TWILIGHT! HELP!"
Then by a flying object. With not time to think Rarity grabbed a sewing machine from a table next to her and bashed Twilight in the head. Her body fell lifelessly to the floor. Blood flowed onto the carpet, which normally Rarity would care about, but not now. She heard the camera make a ding noise one more time before it shut off. It was out of battery.
As Rarity dropped the bloody sewing machine, she came to her senses. Sweetie Belle was not talking anymore. Fearing the worst, Rarity ran upstairs to find Sweetie on the floor. Too much blood already left her body, and it was not stopping. Rarity quickly sewed up the wound. She could not believe what she had done. First, she based her best friend. Now, she almost killed her dear little sister.
Rarity charged the camera and began recording.
"Hello everypony," said Rarity as she wiped tears from her eyes as she was holding Sweetie in her hooves. "I regret to say that I have a done some terrible things tonight. First, I tried to get Sweetie Belle into masochism. But, in the middle of it, Twilight came by. She was getting too nosey. I had no choice. So I Based her in the head with my sewing machine. After that, I suppose I came to my senses. I found Sweetie untied and on the floor. She's ok and so is Twilight. Twilight is just unconscious. And Sweetie fainted from blood loss, but I don't know if she'll wake up for a while."
Rarity wiped Sweetie's wound as Sweetie began to cough.
"Sweetie?"
"Rarity? I had a dream that you were there, and you were... Cutting me..."
Rarity hugged her little sister tightly and she began to cry. "It's ok, Sweetie. It's all over now."
